1. I think it should stay, there is no harm in it.. My parents say if some people don't like it, tough! Go back to your country! They shouldn't have let them into our country in the first place! No there not racist or anything they just believe that most Arabs and ect are the ones with the problem with our pledge, can't change what they believe. I half agree with them. Yes I think it should stay, but not going to the extreme as to not letting others into our country. As alot of you said think of god as the one you believe in.
2. My exams weren't that bad. I know I failed Global Studies though. I wouldn't like haveing them all in one day, that would be to overwhelming for me. I had mine the week I got out of school. Wed. I had 3, Thurs. I had 1, then Friday I had 2. I got out at 10:35am on Friday, which was my last day of school. Mist you have finals? I didn't start having finals until this year. I never had them in Middle school.
3. What did Vegeta say during the Cell games right after Trunks was shot/killed by Cell? I'm drawing a picture and I want to add what he said into it.:)
4.
Originally posted by BulmaVegeta1 You guys are so lucky. I don't get out until the 30th and I go back on August 16. Barely enough time to do anything. Summer vacation is getting shorter, I sware!
Wow that really isn't that much time.. I go back August 23 I think.
5.
Originally posted by Lady Katana Damn! Why does almost everyone I know get out earlier than me?! Here in Ohio, we have to go until June 4. -.-;; I curse the school system for torturing us so!
I live in Ohio too and I don't get out untill June 7. But on the bright side, I get out at 10:38 am on the last day of school, 4 hours earlier!:D
6. I was happy when I turned 13, but I know how you feel.
7. Yeah thats the same guy, Hugh Grants his name. Its about this man named Will(Hugh Grant)who lives by himself, never works, and has tons of money, and he bassically has no responsibilities. He starts going to this single parent support group to meet single mothers. He meets this troubled 12 yr old boy named Marcus(Nicolas Hoult). Whos a 'geek' to say the least. He starts coming over to Will's after school everyday. Will eventualy starts to care for Marcus. Thanks to Marcus and Fiona(Marcus's mother, played by Toni Collette), Will becomes less self obsessed. Thats a taste of the movie.;) To see more heres the website. About a Boy Here are a few quotes from the movie.. "I used to think I was pretty cool. I didn't mean anything, about anything to anyone and I knew that guaranteed me a long, depression-free life." -Will "You don't give a sh*t about anyone, and nobody gives a sh*t about you!" -Marcus
8. Has anyone seen it? I just got back from seeing it. This and Star Wars was sold out about 5 minutes after my brother and I got our tickets. I liked it, but I was a bit dissapointed at how much Rachel Weisz was shown. She only had about 20 minutes all together in the movie.
9. I've never been there but I have herd of it. Last year a women came to my school who had been Anne Franks childhood friend, untill Anne went into hiding with her family. The womens name is Hanna Picgostler(sorry the last name is spelt wrong, its been awhile). She described what the camps were like and about the last time she talked to Anne threw a fence, she was on one side. They were both 15. That was a few days before Anne died I belive. Its sad...:(
10.
Originally posted by amiboshi I didn't do anything last summer, and after I finish babysitting, that's what I plan to do this summer, too. Everyone seems to hate doing nothing. I, in fact, love doing nothing. And No, I will never get sick of it. I can entertain myself endlessly. ^^ My parents would probably let me go places, but I don't really want to go much of anywhere. It's like that I'm anti-social or anything, I would just rather hang out at home. lol. I sound like a loser! haha ^^But it's true!!:p
I'm like that too. I don't like going anywhere, I like staying home watching Dbz/TM/TMR, drawing, playing video games, & going outside.:D But this summer my brother and I might be going to Texas to stay with our cousin for a couple weeks. My grandma & grandpa are coming here from Arizona for about a month, and possibly go to Cedar Point again, working on my 4 websites, helping my brother with his, drawing, playing vido games, and being lazy.:excited: I can't wait for summer, about 32 days left for me.
11.
Originally posted by BulmaVegeta1 Everyone calls me Yuna and I'm 12, going on 13 (May 17, 2002!!!) I live in Texas. (whoopie) Texas has the worst weather EVER!! We have at least 15 tornadoes in March-May and that is why I hate Spring because I'm terrified of Tornadoes!!:bawl: :nervous: :worried: :cross:
Two of my cousins live in Texas. I'm going there to visit them this summer(maybe, its not a sure thing). One is 18 and her brother is my age, but a few days older than me. Ohio has tornadoes too, but I haven't seen one, and hope I never do! And congradulations on your graduation July! ;)
12. I could probebly tell you alot about Egyptian stuff, but I don't think anyone wants to hear me babble on.
13. I absolutly love Egyptian! I always read and watch things about Egypt and the Pharoahs and such. My two favorite movies are The Mummy & The Mummy Returns!;) I have a Mummy Returns poster(very huge)on my wall in my room, and I have a big map of Egypt that I'm going to put up. :D
14. Well once I get GCN(which will most likly be this year)I'm hoping to get. I feel so left out:( . SSBM Star Fox Advetures Mario Sunshine Zelda
15. I exercise about several days a week, but not at any perticular time. It could be 3am and I'd start jumping around. I sometimes start jumping & flipping around while watching The Mummy Returns. Um did I just say that..:whoops: But I seem more fit than I used to be. I play more during gym, of course I do need to be more careful though. Yesterday I was running for the soccer ball and slammed into the brick wall, but I did hit the ball.:D I want to do karate though. My brother did when he was about 8, but he quite once he got yellow belt.
16.
Originally posted by BulmaVegeta1 If you live out in the US it isn't a day late because it's the fifth out here.
Sorry I hadn't noticed it was the 5th. I haven't been paying much attention to the date since I'm on Spring break. So todays the birthday of the best anime creator!:excited:
17. Well this is a day late, but oh well. Happy Birthday to Akira Toriyama! He was born April 5, 1955.:wigout:
18.
Originally posted by MaggotDude Yeah, at FYE (thats the cheapest place for DB and DBZ videos around here), they have the first time Trunks and Goten attempted the fusion dance, and when Goku turned SSJ3.I forget what the videos are called, though. :D
There called Defiance(Goku goes Ssj3 in this one), and A Hero's Farewell(Goten & Trunks practice the Fusion, while Gohan trains with the Z sword).:D
19.
Originally posted by BulmaVegeta1 I just can't stand it when my mom or dad treats me like I'm a baby or something. They never let me do anything which causes me to stay home all the time to do nothing. Life sux when ur only 12 I guess. My b-day is coming up in May and I'll be 13. Hopefully, they'll finally relize that I'm not 3 anymore. See, I have a friend whom I hardly ever get to see since he's a boy and I'm a girl. My parents think that we'll "do stuff that 12 and 13 year old girls and boys do" and I'm like, "yeah right, like we'd ever do that." I guess they think that we'd make out or something. And because of that I never get to see him. If he's reading this, he'll know exactly what I mean. His mom is so nice and she kinda embrasses us both by saying that I'm her daughter-in-law and stuff like that but we're only good friends. Well, I guess I kinda do like him, but I wish my parents wouldn't be so over pertective like they are because I'd like to see my friends sometimes. Just because he's a boy and I'm a girl dosen't mean that we're gonna "do stuff" like my parents think. Not all 13 year boys are like that, espically my friend!
Thier not purposely trying to ruin your life, they only want to do what they think is right. But I know what you mean. When I was 12 my boyfriend would come over and we'd just kind of talk walking in the woods behind my house. My mom didn't really like that, it wasn't that she didn't trust me, but maybe she didn't trust him. Of course everytime he came over my little brother would always hang out with us. My parents usually treat my brother and I our age. They realize we're not little anymore but yet they can go a little overboard.
20.
Originally posted by velvet paws My little brother's the slightly excentric Dragonballzman :)
Your little brother is DragonBallZMan? Hm I never knew that. Hes a nice kid. My little brother wants to join but I won't let him. He'd never post anyway.
21. This isn't really a story, or a poem but I wasn't sure were this would fit. It is something I did for English. It may look kind of weird but thats because it had to be double spaced and I simply copy pasted it in here. It has a few errors, but please over look them. I really miss Phoenix(or Arizona in general, were I was born).:) The Desert of Arizona The Arizona desert can be an exciting place to hike towards the evening. You will encounter many types of wildlife as you hike to the top of the hill. As you hike around, you would see faint green Saguaro cactus standing tall with hundreds of sharp brown needles pointing in every direction. The sky is a light blue blotched with fluffy white cloudes shifting gracefully across the sky. The loud chirping of birds echo around through the brush. Small aimals scurry across the hot dry ground in search of shade. A strong root beer like scent of Paloverde trees fills the air as the breeze carries it along. You can feel the warmth of the sun beating down, a lite breeze whips past your skin. As you reach the top of the hill the sky begins to turn orange from the sunset over the horizon. The Arizona desert is a buetiful, mysterious place where all though water may sometimes be scarse life still remains, like rattlesnakes, scorpions, mountain lions, Coyotes, cacti and many more creatures and plants thrive. When I lived in Phoenix my family and Iwould always camp and hike in Arizona's desert. Seeing many creatures and plants. I hope that someday I will be able to go back, to see all the splendors it has to offer.
