1. ....LOL! I really love the "frolicing". I'm not a fan of Twilight either. I used to read various ones, and I believe we had a few local OB web comics back in the day.
2. Oi, I miss Aqua Teen. Carl is the best, hands down. I can't remember the title of the episode, but Carl had...crabs. Something about a wheelbarrel aswell. Quite disturbing, but I was still dying. Another good one was Mail Order Bride.
3. I love planes, long flights are the best. In my opinion at least, ha. I'm short so I can put my legs up onto the seat to be more comfortable. As long as I have things to entertain me I'm good. Of course the anticipation of my destination is also awesome. I would love to ride in a fighter jet one day, but thats not very pracical. Although I know a man from my church who got to ride in an F-14(I'm actually not positive on which plane it was, I can't remember). He was in the Navy at the time though. Pooping at work? LOL! Although I know exactly what your actually referring to so it really isn't that funny, but I know where your coming from(somewhat). My mom worked in a rehab facility for people who had suffered from strokes, heart attacks, or other debilitating health issues. The place reeked of urine..it was a sad atmosphere when you come across an elderly man or women who are totally off there rocker, or they're sitting in their wheelchair with their head literally in their lap because their back has such a bad hump.
4.
My alternator broke driving home from work, and I was stuck a block away from my house for well over an hour. I called everyone in my family, but nobody answered their phones. My new best friend is now Mitch from AAA. -Shy
Oi, thats happened to me. One day last year I was driving to TKD and my car started acting funny, all the lights were going off in the car; the blinkers, air bag light, ABS, blah blah, so I quickly turn into a parking lot and it died right there. I took up two handicap parking spaces, oh those poor handicap people must've had to park all the way down. I had to call my dad from a Chinese restraunt, lol. When we got the new alternator it was faulty, so we had to go back and get another one..I think they gave us a fualty one twice. What a fun experience that was. I was just lucky to make into that parking lot. XD Ah I love roller coasters, and I've never had that problem.
5. What does Otaku mean?: Someone who is deeply obsessed with something, often attributed to anime/manga, and gaming. What do Otaku do to be an Otaku?: Obsess over whatever that person is obsessed with... What does it mean to you to be an Otaku?: You are very dedicated to that obsession. How do you think other fan communities (e.g., sports fans, gamers, etc). view Otaku?: In Japan Otaku isn't exactly a compliment. What differentiates Otaku from other types of fans?: An Otaku lives and breaths whatever that hobby is. Do you think there is a difference between Otaku that cosplay, as opposed to fans that paint their bodies and stand out in zero-degree weather to support their favorite team?: I guess not. Cosplayers can actually look pretty cool, if they actually do it right, and have the body to do so. Otherwise that could be a disaster. :animestun
6.
No, I'm not happy. I hate traveling and going to odd, new, crowded places. Plus, we're traveling by plane. I hate planes, I always think they're going to crash!
Lol, I love traveling, and I love planes. Eleven hour flights are fun. :p Easter and Christmas are my favorite holidays. Usually for Easter I'll get a little candy or something small from my parents, and I go to church like every sunday. Usually we'll have dinner that evening aswell. I love Easter because it symbolizes spring to me, which is my favorite season. I like the light pastel colors, and Easter lilies. Not to mention its when Christ was resurrected. ;) I'm hoping its nice outside this Easter, I remember the year before last(and last year I think, I can't recall)we had a snow storm...so everyone was saying Merry Christmas instead of Happy Easter. XD I have no spring break, I have a job.
7. I don't swear much atall, very few people have heard me. I don't have a problem with swearing, although there is a time and place for it. However, it seems like its the "in" thing to throw the F word around as causually as any other basic elementry word. That I can't stand. I don't think its gotten worse because of the economy, its just the way its been for awhile. I agree that these people need to revaluate their vocabulary, lol.
8.
1.) A bigger chest size. I'm not talking huge...just maybe somewhere in the high Bs, low Cs...
Whoa, lots of boob talk. I must say, enjoy what you have! They tend to get in the way, lol. Although I would have said the same thing at fourteen. A few of you took my DBZ wishes. 1.) To fly, as in DBZ. 2.) Super strength, like Gohan for example. You would never know Gohan was as powerful as he was by looking at him. (referring to him at age 11) 3.) To be faster in my Taekwondo, and Muay Thai abilities.
9. I've posted this before, I swear. I hate(despise) all Will Farrell movies. I don't think hes even remotely funny. I went to see Elf with my mom and brother in theaters when it came out, for my mom's birthday. It was a complete waste of life, and money. We all hated it, lol. There arn't many recent comedies that I like. I like the stuff from the 80s - 90s, and even older. The kind comedy they spew out now is almost always layed with stupid humor, f this f that, and loaded with sexual content that I could do without.
10. Yeah I've been here a long time, eight years this past January. I wasn't even in high school yet when I joined. Now I'm old. Some of my favorite moments, the whole WAR with Will2x and the art that TOPAZ provided for it. Also...the art forum was WAY more active. The whole "bucket" thing from Desert Shadow, priceless. He drew a pretty mean bucket aswell. Sadly I used to talk to more OB members than I do now. James and I used to have a lot of "Matrix" discussions over aim which were always fun. We haven't talked in ages now though. I think Boo is the only one I talk to outside of aim at the moment, and we still haven't been able to talk like we used to either. :( Boo
(Boris)
, Boo misses you! My least favorite moment was when the forums were hacked back in 2001, of course.
11. Theres a lot I wanted to be when I was younger, some I still want to do. - Veterinarian - Archaeologist: or preferably Egyptologist. I've been fascinated with Egypt for so long. - Artist, comics or manga. - Soilder - Writer - Martial arts instructor - Stunt double The Vet idea was shot out the window when I thought of the fact that I would have to see sick and injured animals. An Egyptologist I would still love to do, but I researched it and thats alot of schooling. I could still do art. I've wanted to do this since I was little, and became serious about it in high school. But I don't know if I would be able to support myself with it. I almost joined the Air Force twice, and I still may but I'm still unsure. Martial arts instructor(Taekwondo) is a possibility. My TKD instructor wants me too, and I love doing it. I've been teaching a lot more since I got my black belt, but you still need so many hours of teaching(lots of experience) to become a Jokyonim(assistant instructor). I should have second degree but september, but its still a long road.
12.
Village Inn is probably my favorite restaurant. I love crepes.
Village Inn?! I haven't seen a Village Inn since I lived in Arizona! I loved that place. I recently fought at the Arnold Classic in Columbus this past weekend, and I also got to meet some cool people aswell. Unfortunately Arnold Schwarzenegger was there the day before so I didn't get to see him. I was so disappointed. Lou Ferrigno from the 70s television show Hulk was there, but I didn't care about him. :p Anyway, photos. UFC fighter Forrest Griffin and I. My hair and make up is a total mess because I fought just before this. Ha. I can't remember this guys name, some body builder. Eight time "Mr. Olympia" Ronnie Coleman. His whole family was there, his wife, daughter, and his mother.
13. Nothing at all. I don't drink, and I usually never wear green. If you do pinch me, I will punch you in the face. Or kick you in the face, either or. I never liked St. Patricks Day much, as a kid I always thought it was pointless, lol. Although I do remember having a St. Patricks Day party at school with cupcakes and other goodies, all green of course. Plus my teacher placed little clues around that a leprechaun had come.
14. 1. Would you rather be a dragon or Superman? I'd rather be Goku, Superman sucks I've never liked him. 2. Would you rather have no arms or no legs? Thats really hard, I have important uses for both. I draw with my hand and I use my legs in Taekwondo, and both are really important to me. So I'll say..I'll take your legs! 3. Would you rather never be able to listen to music again, or would you rather never have sex again? Interesting question, currently the not having sex part wouldn't bother me a bit because I'm too busy for relationships anyway so it wouldn't make much diffrence however I might want kids someday so I'm not so sure. I'll just go with no sex then. :p
15. Underneath my bed is atrocious. 1. I have loads of sketchbooks and folders of art that I've gradually added onto over the past ten years or more. A few old yearbooks, some from high school and one from middle school I think. 2. Old notebooks from either high school or one of the various college courses I took. 3. Tons of pictures. 4. Some random stuff I bought while I was in Israel. 5. An DBZ hand held game I got when I was atleast thirteen. 6. Alot of other random things aswell.
16. Yay, how exciting...no I don't do anything for Mardi Gras. My tuesday will be as normal as any other day. Workout, work, martial arts.
17. Hey Vicky, I wanna see your crazy hair color photos. I'm sure you have some. Oh and heres a nice one of my lovely injury I aquired this evening.. Let me explain how this happened. I was in Taekwondo, and theres a kid testing so I was asked to hold a board for one of his breaks. He was doing a back kick on my board(which you hold out in front of face). When he broke the board a piece of it flew at me at put a nice deep gash across my right eyebrow. At first I wasn't sure what happened, then blood was literally pouring down my face. I ran to the bathroom and another women came in to help me, she pressed a paper towel to it untill it stopped bleeding. My instructor then put some iodine from a Q-tip on it, then a band aid. He found some cut adheisive and put that on after, which is also suppose to help prevent scarring. So now it looks pretty gross. It has brown stuff from the iodine, and blueish/purple stuff from the glue, plus the already reddness. I'm not allowed to spar untill it heals now, which really sucks because I have a fight in two weeks at the Arnold Classic. Hopefully it'll be healed by then. I probebly could use stitches, but that glue seemed to work. My TKD instructor gave me more in case it starts bleeding again. I need to ice it now.
18. I hate cell phones, lol. I finally got one this past august, mainly for emergencies but I've found myself using it more than I thought, but more texting than talking. I hate talking on phones. I use the Verizon pay as you go, because I don't want the hassel of a contract at the moment. I don't use any special ringtone, or any ring at all. I sport the "Vibrate" option. I can't stand when people's phones go off in public places, and I don't want to be one of them, hah.
19. An England meet up would be awesome, if I lived there. XD I feel so left out. Anyway, I live in Ohio in a suburb of Cleveland(or near Cleveland, whatever). We have Cedar Point here in Ohio, which is the only real exciting thing we have. Other than that we have an art museum, a history museum, and a Science Center. Cleveland night life sucks, not that I get out at all anyway, I don't have time. In my initial town we have a mall, which is pretty popular I've noticed with the surrounding cities. I guess a lot of people from around where my mom lives come here to shop at our mall, and she lives an hour away. They're building a Best Buy, Cosco, and Bed Bath and Beyond too...yeah, thats real excitment. I can't wait to get out of Ohio. I was born in Arizona, which a lot of people already know. I lived in Phoenix for ten and a half years. I can't say exactly what the city has, since I was young when we moved to Ohio, but I loved it there and hope to go back. I also lived in Showlow, AZ too for a short time. That was pretty much in the middle of no where, about 20 minutes to town. We had some ducks, chickens, and loads of cats, lol. Coyotes got a couple of our ducks and chickens though.
20. Lol, Mr. Boo won in his own thread. I planned on entering, but it didn't happen. I've had to work a lot lately..I haven't had a weekend yet. Congrats to all!
21. When I said that wasn't my anime style I didn't mean I don't like the anime style as a whole, lol. Just not that one. ;) Post more, now. :p
22. More people need to visit the art forums again! I really like your realistic pieces. And I think I like your second one the best. The shading and highlights are beautiful, and the grapes look very edible. Lol. I don't like the anime one as much, but thats because its not really my 'anime' style, so thats a personal thing.
23. I had fun with these, haha.
24.
It's totally not a spoiler. Everyone knows because if you saw the first two there's inevitable and painful flashbacks to her DYING. In a blaze of fire.
I know, I was being sarcastic. ;) I must say, Sonja looks very 'dude-ish'. Atleast in the face. I'll stll wait for the dvd release to see this, if atall.
25. I've only been to one concert in my life, I was invited at the last minute. Chimaira, at the House of Blues. I know the band members, so we went back stage and all that. It was cool, although its not really my music, I still had a good time.
