  1. Ah yes...bad dye jobs...a wonderfull subject, a few years ago my mom was attempting to get back at someone (can't remember who) by dying her hair. however due to a mix-up at the plant perhaps her hair turned out to be bright neon pink...like in the Outback commercial...good times...good tiems...
  2. Final Fantasy Tactics why? because it's probbaly one of the best tactcal RPGs ever made. it's definitly better than it's sequel simply because it requires strategy as opposed to luck. in FFTA if you mess up a move you can take it back and move somewhere else, in FFT if you mess up you need to figure out another way to save your self, also magic ALWAYS hit, but it required a charge time so you had to figure out whether or not the enemy would move. there were male and female units and each one was better at certain jobs, males had higher HP and PA whereas females had higher MP and MA, so using a female as a knight would be less efficient than using her as say a wizard. the zodiac system worked well also, if you had neutral affinity then you would deal normal damage and have the normal accuracy, if you had good or great affinity the damage and accuracy would be higher, and with a bad or terrible affinity the damage and accuracy is lower. the job system was better too, rather than mastering abilities you gained JP(job points) and once you've gained a certain amount the job level of what ever job you are went up. getting new jobs required you to get other jobs up to diffrent levels. it had a very good story and challenging battles. and it may not seem like much but you can move the camera around unlike in FFTA. FFT is a strategy game and FFTA is nowhere near as based around strategy.
  3. [QUOTE][i]Originally posted by Aku-ma Evil [/i] [B]i hate it when siblingsd do that any one have a suggestion for a theme i could use? [/B][/QUOTE] Affinitog is a good deck thats also fun to say. It uses Megatog, Atog and other artifact eating cards to boots their power and toughness. using artifacts and spells that have affinity let you get more in play which means you megatog can get +3/+3 and trample many many times. so you can easily have 18/19 trampling megatog. throw in some black for creature removal and Disciple of the Vault and you've got a pretty decent deck. I'm running one and 2 out of 3 times I win by turn 6. [b]side note regarding Affinitog[/b]: you could also swap the black out for blue so you have the ability to bounce defenders, counter spells, and draw cards.
  4. Trick question, there is no Materia Armor mission in Final Fantasy Tactics.
  5. Zone of the Enders and Anubis(I think I'll be forgiven if I use ZOE2's JP name because it sounds better) thats it...really...all though, I've played both of them to death...does that count for extra?
  6. [QUOTE][i]Originally posted by Hack Helba [/i] [B][color=darkred][size=1]Right now Im packing some serious [b]Sliver[/b] beat down, heh heh heh. Its Red and White, Red is the major offense and the white is all the defense baby, Its the ultimate combo for me. Isnt that right Lord Prozen? haha ^_^[/size][/color] [/B][/QUOTE] Sliver decks aren't very good if your oppenent is prepared for it, it takes as little as a single card to completely shut it down, Mistform Wakecaster can change all your silvers into any other creature type, thus negating their bonuses. Ray of command can also gain control of the Sliver Overlord permenantly if they have an extra 3 mana, not to mention global removal (Wrath of God, Kirtars Wrath, Akroma's Vengance, Endemic PLauge, Reiver Demon, Solar Tide, Decree of Pain, and Decree of Annihilation are all viable options.) and Engineered Plague can be devastation to any tribal deck. Blue Permission decks are always fun, I like counter spelling everything they play, and should it get through I can bounce it and counter it later. late in the game I'll play Tidal Kraken and swing for 6 unblockable. or I'll use Denying Wind and get rid of your best cards. Paralell Thoughts can help you get your key cards earlier. and the Introduction of Icherons Scepter makes counterspell repeatable as long as you have 2 mana availible. yeah...I like blue...:D
  7. Nightshade looks pretty good, although I'm going to miss Hotsuma's scarf (and Hotsuma himself was more badassed than Dante) but it still looks good none the less. lets hope the gameplay is just as good and just as hard. a few more screens: [I]a close up[/I] [IMG]http://image.com.com/gamespot/images/2003/screen0/914718_20030927_screen004.jpg[/IMG] [I]groovy stabbing stuff[/I] [IMG]http://image.com.com/gamespot/images/2003/news/09/12/kunoichi/kunoichi_screen001.jpg[/IMG] [I]not sure...a targeting rectile maybe?[/I] [IMG]http://image.com.com/gamespot/images/2003/screen0/914718_20030927_screen001.jpg[/IMG] [I]more groovy stabbing stuff...now with stealth dash![/I] [IMG]http://image.com.com/gamespot/images/2003/news/09/12/kunoichi/kunoichi_screen003.jpg[/IMG]
  8. being a huge FPS fan I think that Killzone looks VERY good. and the motion blur, if used properly (not in mass quantities) can be a very cool effect...just look at Devil may Cry that had a touch of motion blur here and there and it's a game that other action games are judged by. but anyway here are a few more screens. [url]http://www.gamers.com/i/pics/1435455.jpg[/url] [url]http://www.gamers.com/i/pics/1435425.jpg[/url] [url]http://www.gamers.com/i/pics/1435415.jpg[/url] even if this wasn't dubbed "halo killer" It'd still peak my interest , but don't expect it anytime soon. It's release date is still unknown even in europe (it's being released there first) and it's unknown if it will even be ported to the US. edit: try that, I removed the image tags.
  9. [QUOTE][i]Originally posted by Meteora [/i] [B][color=666666][size=1][i]Yeah I played it. I was good at it too. But I dont know what happened to my cards after that. They just dissappered. My deck was Fire and Grass. My favorite elements, yeah its an awsome game and if you haven't tried it you should just to do something new.[/color][/size][/i] [/B][/QUOTE] *twitches* it's red and green, not fire and grass...this isn't pokemon. but any way. I play M:TG, very often. I started sometime around weatherlight and havn't really stopped sence ('cept for the occasional break because I don't have the time). currently I'm running 2-3 decks with 2-3 more in the testing phase. the majority of my decks abuse black to the fullest capability that I can. I also find blue the most amusing to play. (control decks anyone?). I tend to ignore red, I don't really like it for some reason. I use white less than blue but more than green, I prefer to be able to stop all forms of attacks against me than be able to deal 20 damage in one pop. but nothing really holds up to blacks discard and spot removal, back it up with counter magic, and 1-2 ways to win and you've gots a decent deck. and even though there is no best card there are some that are strictly better than others. Black Lotus for example is better than MANY artifact mana producers. Morphling is better than MANY blue creatures. Wrath of God, Armegeddon, and Balance are some of the best global destruction cards ever. and the number of combo's are un countable. it's a strategy game through and through, toss in the tourney scene that changes every 3 months and you've got a TCG that will last at least 10 years...and so far so good.
  10. lets face it, humanity has A LOT of problems. but finding the awnsers is harder to find than the missing link, but what do y'all think some possible ways to fix whats wrong? post your idea's, comment on others, talk about the weather, whatever this is a doomed topic from the start I know it. I personally think that the best way is to stop taking ourselves so seriously. once we kick back, put our feet up, relax, and get comfortable everything will work itself out in the end...one way or another.
  11. Omnipotentcy. of course I'd choose the one superpower with no limitations.
  12. [QUOTE][i]Originally posted by Semjaza Azazel [/i] [B]It's fan service nonsense based on everything I've seen. Honestly, in a game were Yuna stops being a summoner to become a pop singer... how much can you expect?[/b] [/QUOTE] [spoiler]actually, from what I understand Yuna isn't a pop star in FFX-2, thats somebody else using a dress sphere to mimic her or something like that (I can't remember exactly). and as for the "stops being a summoner"...DUH! If I remember correctly (and I do) the aeons were sent and the fayth lost their power at the end of FFX, no more summoning period.[/spoiler] but I think it's about time that Square made a sequel to a FF game. sure It probally has a truck load of fan service here and there (spring scene anyone?) but If the gameplay is good what does it matter?
  13. actually for a nu mou illusionist you need to master 3 white mage abilities and 5 black mage abilities, levels have nthing to do with it this time around. (sadly) question: whats the name Ares zodiac monster. (Final Fantasy Tactics)
  14. [QUOTE][i]Originally posted by Xyandar [/i] [B]I HAVE unlocked everything. It shows in the records. So dont say im lyin lol I have only played SC1 on arcade. Is SiegFried Nightmare? I have a feeling he is lol. [/B][/QUOTE] [spoiler]yes Siegfried is Nightmare[/spoiler], thats in Nightmare's profile...did you even bother reading it before asking questions? many questions can be awnsered by the game, also I'm pretty sure that people have stated that [spoiler]nightmare is siegfried transformed by the soul edge[/spoiler] questions can also be awnsered by reading other people's posts.
  15. [spoiler]Siegfried has been posesed by the Soul Edge and transformed by the soul edge, If you've unlocked everything then you would know that. Hwang isn't here he's off defending his country or something. Assassin plays like him. and I think he was replaced by Yunsung.[/spoiler]
  16. not sure what provoked me to do this...but it's a fairly simple SC2 wallpaper, It would have been better if I could have found better pics and stuff to use but this ain't half bad.
  17. it doesn't seem like anybody has anything about Heihachi so I'll add my two scents about him. Regardless of what most people have to say about him Heihachi is very broken* if you know how to use him. sure he has no range but once you can get in range you'll probally win. one of his attacks will reduce you oponnents life bar by about 75% of it's max, he has 3 diffrent 10 hit strings, multible air-lift moves that let you juggle your opponent fairly easily while the attack itself deals good damage, moves which make you opponent crumple to the ground, and most of his attack come out super fast. anybody who says heihachi is a poor character is lying to you Heihachi on a scale of 1-10: 4/10 if your skills are poor, 9/10 if your are good with him *: broken in fighting game terms means overpowered or too good. not bad.
  18. I whole heartedly agree with yalborap I wift trauma to the testicles the something sharp WILL get your "point" across. and if that doesn't work you can do one of two other things. Confront your mom: tell her about it, and then tell her that if something doesn't happen something terrible WILL happen (be sure to put alot of emphasis on the will) don't tell her what will happen, not knowing is often times worse than knowing. Confront you mooom's Boyfriend: bring up the issues, and if your asian, tell him that if he doesn't completely STOP with the asian cracks you'll press harassment charges. but I'd go with using a heavy object (such as a hammer or baseball bat) and swing away whilst aiming low, make hurt so bad he vomits. hope my advice helps. [insert cheery face after a pretty violent post]
  19. seriously why does it matter? even if the government had faked it it happened 40 flipping years ago yeards ago, theres nothing you and anybody could really do about it. I have no opinion about it, I just don't care.
  20. the hobby I've poured more money into over the years is Magic: the Gathering. It probally isn't that uncommon, but It doesn't get alot of notice here (well duh, this is an anime/manga/gaming/whatever board) but I also plan out varous "home grown" manga-esqe comics but I usually never actually start or finish them...other hobbies include reading, drawing, anime, playing video games, and torturing my younger brothers.
  21. I can help in this category... [spoiler] you HAVE to have the the airship before you can get any of these Anima: get ALL 6 destruction sphere treasures (besaid, kilika, djose, shiva, bevelle, and zanarkand) then go to the baaj temple and you'll have to fight a boss (this can be done easily by mixing "trio of 9999" then use attack reels/slice and dice/ blitz ace) then you enter the temple area and light up the six spheres in the room, then the seal will open and you can get anima. Yojimbo: in the cave beneath gagazet go to the end of the cave and you;ll have to fight him, then enter the chamer of the fayth and choose the 3rd option when given a choice, then pay is price or haggle with him or whatever but I recomend having about 300,000 gil to get him. Magus Sisters: the sisters are really easy to get, just capture at least 1 of each of the feinds in gagazet to get the blossom crown. then beat the summoner's Bahumat at the remiem temple (it's behind the broken bridge, you need a chocobo) to get the flower scepter then use the items to break the seal behind the summoner and there you go. [/spoiler] hope that helps. edit: fixed a few little errors
  22. well...you could try to convince them that your matur enough and all that jazz...and if that doesn't work you could follow Penny Arcades advice... [URL]http://www.penny-arcade.com/view.php3?date=2001-05-16&res=l[/URL]
  23. nah, I got this one Q:in Final Fantasy Tactics what the "T.G." stand for in T.G. Cid
  24. I have an incredibly hard skull...just recently I wan attempting to tackle my brother and he moved, I ran my head into our door at full speed, and I left a crack in the door...my head faired better though all I had was a painful headache for an hour or so and a sore spot for 2-3 days.
  25. I'm pretty sure that it's antidote but I could be wrong though...unless it's fire and cure as those are the spells she starts with initially...I'll stick with antidote though
