I don't know.. But every now and then I observe some things that change through out the series. Such as Subaru's hair and how it's slightly longer in the first few episodes, and seems to get shorter in the near episodes. Just little things like that, and am wondering if anyone else has picked up such small details. It would be interesting to hear some. A tad hyper tonight, if you can't tell.

Anime (US/CAN) General thoughts and ratings for .hack//SIGN 26, "Return"

Rating: Indescribable. That episode just touched me in a way no other anime could. I have to give the creators major credit and there are just no words ... to describe how wonderful that episode was.. But poor Sora! ;-; -
Originally posted by K.K.C. Are you just mad because Sora lost? ^_~ I thought the beginning was the only part that went slow, but that was only for like... a min. And the scream that Morganna did was really cool! Just like Sora's! And Maha's! T_T Poor Maha!
*mumbles* Sora could of won, stupid crim distracted Sora by insulting his age. *shakes fist* Damn you crim! -

8/10 Maybe it's just me but I didn't feel that episode had.. well, what the last few episodes have. Can't really explain it but it did have some exciting moments. Like Bear asking to be Tsukasa's guardian, I found that quite interesting. Anyway, 8/10 is the best I'm going to give it.. -
K.K.C, you're right, it does look like it's a shot from a tv show, which leaves me to believe that it just might be an amateur artists/cartoonests attempt at a rather erratic .Hack//sign film.

Anime (US/CAN) General Thoughts and Ratings for .hack//SIGN 24 "Net Slum."
Domou replied to teptep's topic in Otaku Central
I think the title may have been an error of behalf of Cartoon Network. Seeing how the episode said that the net slum was just an area in the world, or actually away from the world that contained a bunch of glyphs, errors and useless data/copys. Though it could of been the creators trying to be a little sly with the title. :p -
*blinks in utter shock* Wh-what is that? Is it fan art? Seriously though, it seems that it may be fan art by an artist trying to express cretin symbolic representations that he thinks the characters represent in the series. If not, someone doesn't draw very well ... at all.

10/10 WOW, is the only word I have to describe that episode. Helba talked, the guardians dukes it out *makes gestures with hands from excitement* It was awesome. Not to mention that I think there is only one episode left, if im wrong correct me, leaving me almost begging for next weekend to come to see it. -
Originally posted by DemonzDragoon .hack cards?, they already have the video game. Cards would be pointless.
Mind telling us how you see that the card game would be pointless just because a few video games are out? I for one don't think that it would be because what happens after you finish all the games, hmmm? What next? The card game would keep people occupied for quite a long while until someone else comes up with another concept to entertain us. :D

When it does come out ill buy a few packs just to check it out and if it isn't that good (Ill compare it to magic of course. :d) then ohwell, Ill give up on it. But the concept of the card game that is based on an RPG does intrigue me.
Originally posted by Tidal lol nice uber talk.if you played the games you notice she talks to Kite.Helba doesn't feel that she needs to talk to them yet.
Well yeah, of course she talks in the games  but I was kind of refering to the show..
-
I was thinking about this the other day, and was wondering if she only uses text to talk, as everyone else that's been shown in the show uses the voice synthesizer to talk. I bet she's just tryin to be the 1337 h4x02 that she is. :d

.hack//SIGN is not a part of adult swim, seeing how adult swim is sunday-thursday. Cartoon network started a block called "saturday" and that's what .hack//SIGN is on.
Originally posted by Black_Phoenix LOL. Yeah, Sora has entire Kripsy Kreme warehouse stored in his thighs. *Falls to the ground laughing.*
It finaly makes sence. His hyperactive ways, his lack of judgement (most times), always saying "yoink".. Sora's on an ultimate sugar rush! Save some fer me buddy. :D

*twitch* What are they trying to do to us? *twitches a little more* Don't they know last episode was a total cliffhanger? Well, I guess I'll have to wait another week.

Crazy, they don't call it a role-play game for nothing. :p Hot keys or chat commands also give Subaru, and everyone else the option to cry, touch, smile and just about any other emotion. The reason they make so much of the game is because that is the style of the game. They log into The World as their characters, not as themselves and they play their characters as they feel free to. And I'm quite sure a lot of people play differently then the characters .hack//SIGN is based upon, they just don't show it in this series.

When Harold said "Our Aura" He was referring to her as his daughter and supposedly someone else's daughter. Theories have been going around with my small social group at school and what Harold had meant about this and from what I think, this would be the most reasonable one out of all that we have discussed. And keep in mind there is no actual proof to this, we were just throwing around stuff. The only other person that has been on contact that we've seen with Aura is Morganna, Maha and Tsukasa. Seeing how Morganna has a female voice we are believed to assume that Harold tried to create Morganna as Aura's mother, and the NPC Harold as her father for some higher purpose in the game. But somewhere in the middle of it all, Morganna's AI was corrupted and decided to awaken Aura differently then Harold had planned for a different purpose. Yes, sounds a little crazy but we had quite the good time discussing it.

Anime (US/CAN) General thoughts and ratings for .hack//SIGN 22, "Phantom"
Domou replied to Shy's topic in Otaku Central
10/10 Not only was that the best episode I've seen because of all the information they gave, but it seemed (to me anyway) that the animation was quite better then the previous episodes, for some reason. And it seems that Tsukasa isn't quite brain dead yet ;p. All in all though, that was one of the better ones I've seen all throughout the series. And Sora in that realm where Maha and Aura is, can only spell trouble. *grins* Muwhahaha. -
Anime I think the world controls more than Tsukasa...
Domou replied to Squall's topic in Otaku Central
Ace's theory isn't far off I think. I've actually thought about this some in the start of .hack//SIGN and have come up with similar ones such as that. It's funny though because the other day I was reading something along the lines of that (off topic e.e) about a cripple man having something implanted into his brain so that he can move his wheelchair around without having to use his hands, not quite as similar to Ace's theory but it seems that reality is starting to come along the line of creating the technology almost effective as the VR visors in DotHack. -
Mimiru could overpower Subaru easily, seeing in that one episode that Subaru met that other character that looked like her (forgot her name) and said that she had been watching Subaru and how she hasn't raised her level in quite sometime. Being that, Subaru gets beat up with no effort. Seeing how Mimiru trains every now and then, I would assume that she would be stronger.
-
I voted Sora, because Sora has had experience killing players and knows some rather good tactics to do so. Though Crim seems to have an equal amount of strength and also has some advantages he still hasn't PKd anyone (that I know of) and really and killed them. It really depends on what aspect we're looking at. Be it PKing people, or trying to kill some creature. Sora would have a better chance at PKing people, and I would have to say Crim has a better chance at slaughtering those monster than trying to off someone. :p

It may be, but I really did expect more, or at least something with a little more.. entertainment. I spent not five minutes there without getting bored, or having nothing to do. I really hope the other one is a lot better. By the way, the other one is in Las Vegas during October, which I hear is the release month for .hack//ENEMY so I'm hoping they're going to have them there. :D
-
I was fairly disappointed in Comic-con when they're were showing off all the .hack//SIGN items and games and ... well it was only that. First I went to some show which was episode 14 - castle, where Sora and Crim duke it out but before they can finish it, the upside-down dungeon starts to fall apart, blah blah blah. Then I went over to the Bandai booth to see if they had any information about the upcoming card game .hack//ENEMY, and nothing.. They didn't even have any information about the DVDs, or the ones that are coming out very soon or anything else for that matter. They did have a .hack//SIGN karaoke machine that let you sing along with the .hack sound track that I found very amusing (nobody could sing). So I found it a waist of $15 that I could have used to save for the DVDs that have come out. I am going to the one in Las Vegas though, I hear that they have a better selection of booths so I'm hoping the .hack//SIGN area over there is better than the one here. :flaming:
