Thank you very much -
In the beginning, there was "darkness." Then, the "darkness" shed a "tear." From that "tear," the brothers Sword and Shield were born. Shield claimed it could defend against any attack. Sword claimed it could slice through anything. The brothers began a legendary battle. At the end, both Sword and Shield shattered. Sword became the sky, Shield became the earth, and the sparks from the battle became the stars. As for the jewels, they fell to the ground and became the True Runes (History of the 27 True Runes) War. It is the darkest manifestation of mankind?s aggression and chaotic nature. Lands are ravaged, towns burned to ashes and lives are stolen mercilessly. From thousands to millions, these death tolls are made for the purpose of satisfying but only a few. Sometimes it is to extend the reach of their power; sometimes it is to break the chains that bind their soul to destiny. No matter what the intention, the result never changes, and the ground always becomes stained crimson. It is not uncommon, however, for a hero to rise and challenge the nature of war, or shape its course by participating. Carrying the scar of having lost something dear to them like many others, the hero seeks to raise arms against that which threatens to smother the world in darkness. Being a hero is a demanding role to assume, where pain is an assurance and suffering and tragedy become bedfellows. The World has always emphasized the portrayal of those facing the destructive force of war first-hand. The Historians recount the tales of those who have risen to face adversity and those who have fallen nobly to its might. Nearly 50 years ago in this land there was a bloody warfare fought between the Grasslanders and Harmonian militia. Grassland, trying to defend their homes and Harmonia, pressing for their land in hopes of further colonization. The Grassland warriors were led by a mysterious man named Riou, otherwise known to the people as the Flame Champion. All those fighting under him were regarded as the Fire Bringer. After years of war, a truce was formed between the Fire Bringer and Harmonia and Riou faded into history as a bandit which fought for good. 3 decades later were the Gate Rune Wars, a conflict which shredded the eastern continents of the world and scattered lives in every direction. During that savage time, the 108 Stars of Destiny rose to challenge the dark forces behind that struggle. After great loss and great gain, these heroes managed to emerge victorious. Sadly, peace was short-lived and not many years later the Dunan Unification Wars began. This struggle would bring steel and iron to clash anew, once again turning the land into a canvas of blood. Through the valiant efforts of a boy, not unlike the hero of the Gate Rune Wars, the world was ushered into a time of prosperity once more. Fifteen years later, in a remote area to the west known as the Grasslands, another war begins to brew. Once again there is a cry for a hero, but this time, the answer would come from three distinct voices. ---------------------------------------------------------- Character Generation ---------------------------------------------------------- (You may use a pre-Existing character or create your own but no god modding and certain characters won't be allowed; ie: Yuber, Luc, McDhol, Sarah, Sarasai and other major characters from the previous games. Pesmerga is safe from this rule since he isn't insanely powerful) Name: (Self Explanatory) Age: (Very Open about Age. Go wild with this.) Gender: (Does not restrict anything to do with abilities and such) Race: Human- Your Basic Generic Human character, they will usually differ greatly from one another. There are five specific nationalities of Humans. Zexen, Harmonian, Calarians and Dunan so just select one of them. A point of notice is that Zexens have access to the Knight class while Calarians have very dark skin . Elf- an Elf is a forest dwelling character with pointy features and stand at usually about 5?0 to 7?0 but are slender. An example can be found Here Dwarf- Short and stocky Humanoids which are hairy and powerhouses when it comes to physical combat. An example can be found Here Kobold- Humanoid Dog creatures which are naturally good natured but are respected for being good warriors. An example can be found hereHere Karaya- One of the six clans of the Grasslands. They are essentially humans with darker skins and usually blond or brown hair. They are the second most respected of the clans but are well known for being ferocious fighters. An example can be found Here Lizard- Are the most respected and feared of the six clans of the Grasslands. They are covered from head to foot with green scales and have soft underbellies which are any colors. They live in the Great Hollow traditionally. An example can be found Here Duck- Are the least respected of the clans because of their animal features. They stand about the four feet mark. An example can be found Here Chisha- the Chisha are both the most spiritual of the clans and the most secretive. They are a more Shamanistic of the clans. (I don?t know the other two clans) Class: (Go Wild with this) Weapon: (Go wild with this.) Faction you're allied to: (Either the Grasslands, Zexen federation or the Harmonian Southern defense forces. Later on the three groups join forces but at the start they will be bordering on Hostile to each other) Rune: (You can have up to three runes but not three upgraded runes) Blinking Rune- Teleport magic Wind and Cyclone Rune- Wind magic. Cyclone is an upgraded version of the wind rune which puts more strain on the body. (All second names are improved versions of the first name which put much more strain on the body) Earth Rune and Mother Earth rune- Earth magic Fire Rune and Rage Rune- Fire Magic Water rune and Flowing Rune- Water magic Jongleur Rune- Magic Poetry Lightning Rune and Thunder rune- Lightning magic Pale Gate Rune- Summoning magic Shield Rune- Light magic Darkness Runec- Dark magic Sword of (Cyclone, Rage, Thunder) Rune- Sword magic (There are also weapon and such related runes. Check http://www.suikosource.com/games/gs3/guides/runes.php for these runes. I will allow True Runes to certain people) Personality: (What your character is like) Biography: (How your character got involved in these events. Doesn't have to be too lengthy but basic knowledge of the Suikoden universe should be known. If you are unclear then check Suikosource.com to fill in the gaps) Appearance: (What your character looks like. Image or detailed description) ----------------- My Character Name: Hugo, Son of Lucia Chieftian of the Karaya clan. Age: 15 Gender: Male Race: Karaya Class: Karayan Fighter Weapon: Karayan Knife (Too short for a Schimitar and too long and curved for a proper Knife) Faction: Grasslands Runes: Starts off with the Wind rune and Viper Rune, Later gets the True Fire Rune. Personality: Hugo is or was a relativly free spirited and friendly youth who was forced to grow up too quickly for one to want after his best friend Lulu died when the Zexen Knights attacked Karaya Villiage for unknown reasons (Unknown to him, The Zexens attacked so that their forces would be able to flee when they were ambushed by Karaya and Lizard clan forces during a Peace meeting). He hates the Zexens because they seceeded from the Grasslands and that he was taught to hate them. Biography: Hugo was born the son of the Karaya Clan chief, Lucia, and an unknown father, soon after the Dunan Unification War was concluded. When Hugo was four, Fubar came to the Karaya Clan and Hugo immediately bonded with the wild griffon. He lived a mostly carefree Karayan childhood until the Zexen Knights attacked the village when Hugo was returning from Vinay del Zexany after a failed Diplomacy mission and killed his best friend, Lulu. After that he had to grow up in an instant, and seeked out the Flame Champion after hearing of his story. He instead found the wife of the deceased Flame Champion, Sana, and took up the responsibility of her husband. As the Flame Champion, he led Grasslands, Zexen, Harmonian, and other forces as the Fire Bringer, and stopped Luc's plans to destroy the True Wind Rune. After the war, he helps rebuild Karaya and also acts as the chief of the Karaya Tribe, succeeding his mother, Lucia. (It'll take forever to create a proper biography for him since he was one of the major characters in the Game so I'm using the story for Hugo underneath him on Suikosource so sorry if I reveal what happens to Hugo after the events of Suikoden 3) Appearence:

Well, Stephanie McMahon is the head of the writing group which is why storylines and Gimmicks have bombed lately. They need to rehire Paul Heyman (Or TNA need to hire him) to give life to their story lines. People don't know this but ECW is 100% responsible for the attitude and guess who headed that? And Outlaw, Its spelt Heidenreich. People don't have an idea for a gimmick and I wouldn't trust the writers to save my life nowdays. The heads of WWE think that all everyone want are blond bimbos that cannot beat a One Legged Man in an Arse-Kicking contest or Big Bodybuilders that take part in squash matches.
You know, it's funny, but I've never seen a single Canadian character in all the years I've been watching any kind of Asian (not even just Japanese) media, so I find it bizarre that any kind of stereotype would develop. That's not to say we're anything short of strong, smart, and hansom, of course. :3 (Indeed, we're quite lovely.) Anyway, I'm curious as to what anime in history has ever contained Canadians.
Don't ask me which Anime contains Canadians, I do not know and do not really care. I also thought It might be worthwhile if I added the following 25 cliches on the list for those that can't be stuffed looking it up, Some of them are seen a lot. #26- Law of Feline Mutation- Any half-cat/half-human mutation will invariably: 1) be female. 2) will possess ears and sometimes a tail as a genetic mutation. 3) wear as little clothing as possible, if any. #27- Law of Conservation of Firepower- Any powerful weapon capable of destroying/defeating an opponent in a single shot will invariably be reserved and used as a last resort. #28- Law of Technological User-Benevolence- The formal training required to operate a spaceship or mecha is inversely proportional to its complexity. #29- Law of Melee Luminescence- Any being displaying extremely high levels of martial arts prowess and/or violent emotions emits light in the form of a glowing aura. This aura is usually blue for "Good Guys" and red for "Bad Guys". This is attributed to Good being higher in the electromagnetic spectrum than Evil. #30- Law of Non-Anthropomorphic Antagonism- All ugly, non-humanoid alien races are hostile, and usually hell-bent on destroying humanity for some obscure reason. #31- Law of Follicular Chromatic Variability- Any color in the visible spectrum is considered a natural hair color. This color can change without warning or explanation. #32- Law of Follicular Permanence- Hair in anime is pretty much indestructible, and can resist any amount of meteorological conditions, energy emissions, physical abuse, or explosive effects and still look perfect. The only way to hurt someone?s hair is the same way you deal with demons... with bladed weapons! #34- Law of Probable Attire- Clothing in anime follows certain predictable guidelines: Female characters wear as little clothing as possible, regardless of whether it is socially or meteorologically appropriate. Any female with an excessive amount of clothing will invariably have her clothes ripped to shreds or torn off somehow. If there is no opportunity to tear off aforementioned female?s clothes, then she will inexplicably take a shower for no apparent reason (also known as the Gratuitous Shower Scene). Whenever there is a headwind, Male characters invariably wear long cloaks that don?t hamper movement and billow out dramatically behind them. First Corollary (Cryo-Adaptability)- All anime characters are resistant to extremely cold temperatures, and do not need to wear heavy or warm clothing in snow. Second Corollary (Indecent Invulnerability)- Bikinis render the wearer invulnerable to any form of damage. *Third Corollary (Probable Attire permanence)- The clothing on the hero is indestructible. Their capes, robes, (and if they are girls,) skirts, dresses, bows, or any loose clothing will just flap when they are in the middle of a fire or ice attack... Unless it's a hentai. It is believed that the clothes are made out of Anime Character hair. (re. Laws 32 & 48) #35- Law of Musical Omnipotence- Any character capable of musical talent (singing, playing an instrument, etc. Is automatically capable of doing much more "simple" things, like piloting mecha, fighting crime, stopping an intergalactic war, and so on... especially if they?ve never attempted these things before. #36- Law of Quintupular Agglutination- Also called "The Five-man Rule", when "Good Guys" group together, it tends to be in groups of five. There are five basic positions, which are: 1) The Hero/Leader 2) His Girlfriend 3) His Best Friend/Rival 4) A Hulking Brute 5) A Dwarf/Kid Between these basic positions are distributed several attributes, which include: 1) Extreme Coolness 2) Amazing Intelligence 3) Incredible Irritation #37- Law of Extradimensional Capacitance- All anime females have an extrasdimensional storage space of variable volume somewhere on their person from which they can instantly retrieve any object at a moment?s notice. This mysterious dimension is commonly called "Malletspace". First Corollary (AKA The Hammer Rule)- The most common item stored is a heavy mallet, costumes/uniforms, power suits/armor, and large bazookas. #38- Law of Hydrostatic Emission- Eyes tend to be rather large in Anime. This is because they contain several gallons of water, which may be instantaneously released at high pressure through large tear ducts. The actual volume of water contained in the eyes is unknown, as there is no evidence to suggest that these reservoirs are actually capable of running out. The reason water tends to collect in the eyes is because Anime characters only have one large sweat gland, which is located at the back of the head. When extremely stressed , embarrassed, or worried, this sweat gland exudes a single but very large drop of sebaceous fluid. #39- Law of Inverse Attraction- Success at finding suitable mates is inversely proportionate to how desperately you want to be successful. The more you want, the less you get and vice-versa. First Corollary- Unfortunately, this law seems to apply to Otaku in the real world... #40- Law of Nasal Sanguination- When sexually aroused, males in Anime don?t get erections, they get nosebleeds. No one?s sure why this is, though... the current theory suggests that larger eyes means smaller sinuses and thinner sinus tissue (see Law #38 above). Females don?t get nosebleeds, but invariably get one heck of a blush along the cheeks and across the nose, suggesting a lot of bloodflow to that region. #41- Law of Xylolaceration- Wooden or bamboo swords are just as sharp as metal swords, if not sharper. #42- Law of Juvenile Omnipotence- Always send a boy to do a man?s job. He?ll get it done in half the time and twice the angst. #43- Law of Triscaquadrodecophobia- There is no Law #43. #44- Law of Nominative Clamovocation- the likelihood of success and damage done by a martial arts attack is directly proportional to the volume at which the full name of the attack is announced (known as the Kamehameha effect). #45- Law of Uninteruptable Metamorphosis- Regardless of how long or involved the transformation sequence or how many times they?ve seen it before, any "Bad Guys" witnessing a mecha/hero/heroine transforming are too stunned to do anything to interrupt it. #46- Law of Flimsy Incognition- Simply changing into a costume or wearing a teensy mask can make you utterly unrecognizable to even your closest friends and relatives. *#47- Law of Mandibular Combustible Emission- All anime characters seem to have some unknown chemical on their breath that reacts VERY violently with extremely hot or spicy food. This chemical may also be responsible for the phenomenon of fire behind the eyes and from the mouth when a character (usually a female) is really angry. *#48- Law of Electrical and Combustible Survivalism- If you get electrocuted or burned, YOU WILL SURVIVE!! Though your entire body will be scorched, seconds later, your skin won?t have a trace of damage (Also known as the "Pikachu Effect"). First Corollary- When a magical bad guy/Alien/monster fires off a flame, wind, or ice attack, the resulting effect is only enough for the hero(es)/heroine(s) to be standing in the "Walking Against the Wind" stance, with his/her eyes shut and letting out a pathetic "Aaaaagh!", and yet they are never harmed. This may be in part to laws 32, 34 and sometimes 44. *#49- Law of Female wrath- If a male character insults a female character, he will get a mallet, shotgun, or tank blast, or if she is a character that can perform magical feats, a fireball or whatever, to the head, body or whatever (Also known as the "Lina Inverse/Gourry Factor") This is because he always deserves it, and will help him to cope in today?s society. (>Sniff Sniff< So True!!) *#50- Law of Artistic Perversion- Most (not all) Anime artists are perverts and are under the impression that girls are willing to tear off their clothes, or wear VERY small, revealing outfits at the drop of a pin (or pen for that matter). Unfortunately, most Hentai fans are under the same impression.

Forget the war on Terror- It's a War on Porn
PWNED replied to ChibiHorsewoman's topic in General Discussion
Not extreme? What have you been smoking? He wants to ban porn, outlaw abortion and make it nearly impossible to obtain birth control methods (ie condoms, pills, IUD ect ect) Simply because he doesn't agree with those things. Last I checked that was pretty extreme.
I havt to admit that is pretty extreme but There are more Extreme Right Wings out there (I can't stand them mostly because their views conflict with my own views) but he is pretty Damn Right Wing. -
Being Christian does not mean you force your views onto others. But feel free to jump on the bandwagon of Christian banging that is ever so popular on the internet. Also calling Bush a puritan is silly.
Welll, Bush is a Right Wing Christian (Not Extreme but still Right Wing) so what better thing to try and take down then something that your religion finds morally wrong even though its perfectly legal. I find that it is easier to attack problems which are not problems at all like Pornography and Alchohol (Not yet to be attacked but It will happen) -
"Whoa Slow Down" Jaxar called after Catrina as he pulled himself back up to his feet after tripping over his feet earlier. Damn, I'm still dizzy he thought to himself as he tried to start a run after the Elven girl but as he started to move he noticed that he wasn't swaying so much and he could move properly. Now that he was moving properly, He began to catch up with Catrina, His speed matching hers but unlie her, Jaxar had worked all of his life on a farm and had endurance to match his speed. "I'm not going to wait for you" Catrina called back as Jaxar passed the hut she had sprinted by a minute earlier which proved that, as fast as Jaxar was, Catrina was faster. This continued until Catrina reached the city gates where she just leant back against the stones of the bridge, waiting for the thief which she had lost sigt of a minute earlier. After what seemed like an hour, Jaxar caught up even though it was only a few minutes but she decided to help him out when he lost his balance and crashed headlong into the wall. The two began to walk down the main street with Catrina holding up Jaxar while hepinched his nose to stop the blood flow.

Hey, I found this list while searching around a RPG Maker 2K tutorial and resource site in the humour section and I thought it would do well here. It is a list of 100 Anime Cliches although I only grabbed the first 25 #1 - Law of Metaphysical Irregularity- The normal laws of physics do not apply. #2 - Law of Differential Gravitation- Whenever someone or something jumps, is thrown, or otherwise is rendered airborne, gravity is reduced by a factor of 4. * Some things have been known to "Float" for a few seconds before plummeting to hit the ground, vehicle, or someone?s cranium. #3 - Law of Sonic Amplification, First Law of Anime Acoustics- In space, loud sounds, like explosions, are even louder because there is no air to get in the way. #4 - Law of Constant Thrust, First Law of Anime Motion- In space, constant thrust equals constant velocity. #5 - Law of Mechanical Mobility, Second Law of Anime Motion- The larger a mechanical device is, the faster it moves, Armoured Mecha are the fastest objects known to human science. #6 - Law of Temporal Variability- Time is not a constant. Time stops for the hero whenever he does something "cool" or "impressive". Time slows down when friends and lovers are being killed and speeds up whenever there is a fight. #7 - First Law of Temporal Mortality- "Good Guys" and "Bad Guys" both die in one of two ways - either so quick they don?t even see it coming, OR it?s a long drawn out affair where the character gains much insight to the workings of society, human existence or why the toast always lands butter side down. *NOTE: Sometimes, Anime heroes or villains never really die! In these rare cases they were a clone or cyborg and the real hero/villain?s suspiciously missing in "Malletspace", or something. #8 - Second Law of Temporal Mortality- It takes some time for bad guys to die... regardless of physical damage. Even when the "Bad Guys" are killed so quickly they don?t even see it coming, it takes them a while to realize they are dead. This is attributed to the belief that being evil damages the Reality Lobe of the brain. #9 - Law of Dramatic Emphasis- Scenes involving extreme amounts of action are depicted with either still frames or black screens with a slash of bright color (usually red or white). #10- Law of Dramatic Multiplicity- Scenes that only happen once, for instance, a "Good Guy" kicks the "Bad Guy" in the face, are seen at least 3 times from 3 different angles. #11- Law of Inherent Combustibility- Everything explodes. Everything. First Corollary- Anything that explodes bulges first. Second Corollary- Large cities are the most explosive substances known to human science. Tokyo in particular seems to be the most unstable of these cities, sometimes referred to as "The Matchstick City". #12- Law of Phlogistatic Emission- Nearly all things emit light from fatal wounds. #13- Law of Energetic Emission- There is always an energy build up (commonly referred to as an energy "bulge") before Mecha or space craft weapons fire. Because of the explosive qualities of weapons, it is believed that this is related to the Law of Inherent Combustibility. #14- Law of Inverse Lethal Magnitude- The destructive potential of any object/organism is inversely proportional to its mass. First Corollary- Small and cute will always overcome big and ugly. Also known as the A-Ko phenomenon. #15- Law of Inexhaustibility- No one *EVER* runs out of ammunition. That is of course unless they are cornered, out-numbered, out-classed, and unconscious. #16- Laws of Inverse Accuracy- The accuracy of a "Good Guy" when operating any form of firearm increases as the difficulty of the shot increases. The accuracy of the "Bad Guys" when operating firearms decreases when the difficulty of the shot decreases. (Also known as the Stormtrooper Effect) Example: A "Good Guy" in a drunken stupor being held upside down from a moving vehicle will always hit, and several battalions of "Bad Guys" firing on a "Good Guy" standing alone in the middle of an open field will always miss. First Corollary- The more "Bad Guys" there are, the less likely they will hit anyone or do any real damage. Second Corollary- Whenever a "Good Guy" is faced with insurmountable odds, the "Bad Guys" line up in neat rows, allowing the hero to take them all out with a single burst of automatic fire and then escape. Third Corollary- Whenever a "Good Guy" is actually hit by enemy fire, it is in a designated "Good Guy Area", usually a flesh wound in the shoulder or arm, which restricts the "Good Guy" from doing anything more strenuous than driving, firing weaponry, using melee weapons, operating heavy machinery, or doing complex martial arts maneuvers. *Fourth Corollary- The more times the "Bad Guy" fires, the fewer times he will hit. #17- Law of Transient Romantic Unreliability- Minimei is a bimbo. (Note: The Minority Opposition in Ohio disagrees and thinks all men who like this stuff needs to get out more.) #18- Law of Hemoglobin Capacity- the human body contains over 12 gallons of blood, sometimes more, under high pressure. #19- Law of Demonic Consistency- Demons and other supernatural creatures have at least three eyes, loads of fangs, tend to be yellow-green or brown, but black is not unknown, and can only be hurt by bladed weapons. *Also, acid has been known to work just as well... #20- Law of Militaristic Unreliability- Huge galaxy-wide armadas, entire armies, and large war machines full of cruel, heartless, bloodthirsty warriors can be stopped and defeated with a single insignificant example of a caring/loving emotion or a song. First Corollary- Whenever a single war machine (mecha, starship, etc.) goes up against an entire army, the army always loses. #21- Law of Tactical Unreliability- Tactical geniuses aren?t... #22 -Law of Inconsequential Undetectability- People never notice the little things... like missing body parts, or wounds the size of Seattle. #23- Law of Juvenile Intellectuality- Children are smarter than adults. And almost twice as annoying. #24- Law of Americanthromorphism- Americans in Anime appear in one of two roles, either as a really nasty skinny "Bad Guy" or a big stupid "Good Guy". First Corollary- The only people who are more stupid than the big dumb Americans are the American translators. (Sometimes referred to as the Green Line Effect) Second Corollary- The only people who are more stupid than the American translators are the American editors and censors. *Third Corollary- Canadians are usually portrayed as smart, strong, handsome "Good Guys". Fourth Coroally- Australians are usually portrayed as right hand lackeys that are slightly stupider than their idiotic protogees #25- Law of Mandibular Proportionality- The size of a person?s mouth is directly proportional to the volume at which they are speaking or eating. Find the rest here Have you noticed that quite a few of these are true, I've seen them hundreds of times but they all seem correct. What about you, Do you agree?

Which songs have the funniest or most interesting lyrics?
PWNED replied to ChibiHorsewoman's topic in Noosphere
The Funniest lyrics are definetly "Look on the Bright Side of Life" by the Monty Python crew from 'Life of Brian'. Its funnier more about the situation but I will not tell anyone what it is but just try and tell me that you cannot smile while watching them sing it. The most interesting lyrics I have heard from a band is definetly "Do or Die" by Papa Roach off of their album "Getting away with Murder". It has fairly strong lyrics and I can put up what a person thinks that it is about, courtesy of songmeanings.com
'The song is about a person who looked up to someone else all his life. His hero was always there for him, always backing him up when he felt so alone, always reaching out for him. But now this world can be toxic and the strong can become weak within the snap of a finger. Now his hero has fallen. He is losing his ground. He is falling a part. Now this kid has become a man and he's ready to give back to his hero. To help him out because it hurts him so to see his hero sitting there with his head in his hands, slowly losing his insanity.'
Strong Analysis isn't it? And now here are the real lyrics as well as special comments on key lines by yours truly. Today I saw my hero fall apart The one who taught me to be strong (I saw someone who I looked up to and who taught me to be strong break down) On the outside I looked fine But on the inside I am dying (It may not show on my face but inwardly it feels like a chunk of myself has died) My strength is overcome by pain My love for you remains the same (Even though It pains me to see this happen to you, I still love and respect you) The lonelyness is setting in I have no one to free my sins (I now feel alone because i have no one to relieve myself emotionally with) It's never to late to live your life The time is now it's do or die (It isn't too late to live, The time you can do it is now, its do now or never do) It's never to late to live your life The time is now it's yours and mine (As above but the last half is The time for both of us to do this is now) Now it's my turn to help you out 'Cause you were there when I was down (Now that you have helped me so much, I am prepared to help you) It's hard for me to see you this way Losing all your sanity (I can't stand seeing you living in fear and insanity) You helped me keep my dreams alive Without you how will I survive? ( I don't know if I could live without you because you were there showing me what to do and encouraging me) It's time for me to be a man Now I finally understand (Its time for me to do this now that I finally understand it) It's never to late to live your life The time is now it's do or die It's never to late to live your life The time is now it's yours and mine x2 I can't run anymore I can't hide anymore I can't run anymore I can't hide anymore (I can't run away from my responsibility anymore and I can't hide from it anymore either) Today I saw my hero fall apart The one who taught me to be strong On the outside I looked fine But on the inside I am dying (I hate to repeat myself again) It's never to late to live your life The time is now it's do or die It's never to late to live your life The time is now it's yours and mine x3 I can't run anymore I can't hide anymore I can't run anymore I can't hide anymore -
My favourite is Jacoby Shaddix from Papa Roach OR Micheal Hutchence from INXS. It might be because they are both my favourite bands but it is weird how much the two choices differ. Jacoby Shaddix is a Rock singer WHILE Hutchence is a Pop/Rock singer (And a damn good one). Myu least favourite is definetly any Gangster Rapper or wannabee Pop Idol (Also including Jessie McHartney. I Hate him so Much). Its just that the Rappers show little to no talent other than the ability to talk quickly while the Idols are taking short cuts to stardom.

However, when his father died he began to become a cold and heartless young man who had a wildly corrupt sense of honour. Danny was pinned to the ground easily and had a gun to his forehead but as he tried to flail with his arms, a weird substance fired from his forearms which hit the arm in the eyes. The others that were around there ran off quickly, knowing that Danny was different, leaving him alone and a nasty rumour of him being what they referred to as a mutant. This left him being targeted by Prejudice and fear, with no one to look out for him; This caused him to begin to hate the normal people.

Frankie is right, The main problem plagueing a few Anime or Game based RPGs is that the story doesn't seem to be different to what its based on. Takuya has done a few real worthy Digimon RPGs which had really original storylines

I was wondering if someone could make me a Strong Bad bannerand avatar. They should preferbly have this one as the avatar which has The Monster written in the white part (It will have to be resized becuase the image is fairly large) while this one will be the template for the banner This will need to be resized also. Some things that can be added to it including my name and 'Fight for Awesomness'. Thank you for this favour whoever does this.

As Jaxar begun to stir from the uncocoiusness that was inflicted through his fall through dimensions and he emitted a low moan as his eyes flickered open with all of his will power. The first thing he saw was a stunningly beautiful Elven women that was lying on top of him, he heard her swear under her breath and before he could say anything rude a sudden burst of nausea struck him which caused him to lose the idiotic smile and replace it with a grimace of sickness caused by the dimension travel. "Oh God." He told himself as the wave of nausea began to subside while the Elf gave a hurt look like she was the cause of his sickness. "OH No, No, No." He started to explain "Its not because of you" but she pushed his head back against the ground as she climbed off him. "What?" He asked her as he propped himself into a sitting position using his elbows to hold himself up. Jaxar looked around himself to figure out where he was but the surroundings were not familiar so he decided to ask this strange Elven woman where he was. She looked puzzled at first then replied that it was the city of Koryuu of the city-state of Dasnkaii. He looked even more puzzled then her at this development, He hadn't heard of the city let alone the City-State. He covered up his suprise by asking who she was but this was a way just to not show his rising fear.

Jaxar the young thief shifted uncomfortably in his seat, he was not even a proper member of the thieves? guild, hadn?t even done his first assignment, and he was called to the Guild Masters office. 'This could only be trouble,' He told himself as the second-in-command read through the formalities which caused even more unease with the youth. Once the speech finished, The Guild Master began to talk about honor amongst thieves and about his impending entry into the guild. "Now, I'm sure that you'll want to just get onto assignments and the such but this is important" The Guild master said with a sly edge to his voice, this seemed to be how the Guild Master seemed to start a lot when he spoke to Jaxar. The Guild Master pulled out and unrolled a map of the wealthy district, drew a circle around the home of the great merchant Baling and explained that this was where he would rob for the first time. ?Jaxar, this is where you will hit for the first time. It?s the home of the merchant Baling? He explained to Jaxar while holding back an arrogant smile This will teach him for thinking that he is the greatest thing to happen to us. Jaxar however was uncertain about this; he hadn?t been around for long enough to even consider such a theft from easily one of the most powerful men in the city. But he couldn?t say no to something like this otherwise he would be kicked out of the guild big time (even though he wasn?t even a member) but it would be certain doom if he tried thinking about it. ?Very well then? Jaxar said as he straightened up in his chair ?I will do this.? ?I can?t do this? He told himself while the guild master bade him farewell. Once he was dismissed, the young thief nearly ran out of the office to prepare for what would happen tonight.... Not knowing that this assignment would change his entire life. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jaxar?s inexperience was showing later that night when he scaled the back wall of the target mansion, His boots were not getting enough leverage on the loose mortar and if not for the rope being tied around his waist then he would have plunged to his death already. Nevertheless, he was able to get over the wall and be able to climb through a second floor window. Luckily, the building was relatively well set out and he was able to locate the treasury easily. As he opened the treasury door a bright light flashed in front of him ?Guard Wards? Jaxar assumed, The merchant was known to be a powerful mage as well so he couldn?t take his time here. At first he was overwhelmed by the Treasure and artifacts like a child in a candy shop but he quickly regained his presence of mind because it was likely that the shrill noise he was hearing was because of the Guard wards. Jaxar grabbed objects at random and shoved them into his swag bag but there was one thing that caught his eye. This object was a strange looking amulet fit with a Silvery Crystal, it went against all of his senses but he grabbed it anyway and ran out the door when he started to hear footsteps and yelling along with the shrill noise. During Jaxars mad rush out of the building and an unfortunate run into a wall when he lost his balance, the jewel set in the amulet seemed to crack but he didn't care enough about it to stop his escape. Just as he was climbing back over the wall, his rope snapped and he began to fall. With the wind cracking past him and the stone coming a bit too close, the fall began to slow then stop but before he could splatter the ground began a silvery color which began to come at him even faster. At the same time, The Amulet slipped from the pocket that he had tucked it into and Silvery light seeped from it and into the ground, turning it transparent. As he passed through the ground, he looked at himself to see if he was alright when he saw what had happened to himself he saw that his body was turning to dust as he fell. His screamed echoed through the night and he saw no more. After what felt like an eternity of falling, He hit the ground but it was odd since it was different to what it was earlier. ?Gods? He croaked when he had enough breath to speak and patted his various limbs to find if he was still alive but everything was there so he decided to fall into the grasp of sleep. What is it that appeals to you? The Back Story given to you, The Character Sign Ups or even the creater of the RPG or other things? I myself find that the Back Story is what appeals to me because I am an avid novel reader so if the story is good then I am fine about it. I also check who is joining it and compare them to my writing style because two contrasting styles do not work well. I'm just wanting to know?

This is just a preview thread so have a read through the stuff and feel free to ask questions. ?In the beginning there existed only long, long Darkness. Over time, Darkness grew lonely. The loneliness became a heavy sorrow. Darkness eventually cried one tear. From the tear were born two brothers: Sword and Shield. Sword said it could cut all that exists. Shield replied that nothing could even scratch it. They fell into war. Their war lasted for 7 days and 7 nights. In the end, Sword breached Shield, and Shield broke Sword. Pieces of Sword rained down to make the sky. Pieces of Shield rained down to make the earth. Their battle flashes became the stars. The 27 gems adorning Sword and Shield transformed into the 27 True Runes, and thus the world began its life.?(History of the 27 True Runes) War. The series recounts the tales of those who have risen to face adversity and those who have fallen nobly to its might. (All characters will be on opposite sides depending on race. Alright, This is less fun than I thought.... Damien thought to himself silently as he flopped against the deck chair at the beach exhausted after the ordeal of having to swim back to shore because of the Sharpedo that he caught having torn his Dinghy apart. Behind him his very wet and incredibly angry Zangoose stormed out of the water, Damien realised that he had forgotten to return Zangoose to the ball. "Oh sorry about that." Damien apologized to his pokemon, Zangoose knowing that it was really sarcasm behind that apology. All that cam in return to the apology was an angry glare and grunt indicating that Zangoose wasn't amused. "Well, I couldn't exactly use Sandslash now could I?" Damien explained jokingly, not making Zangoose happy at all. He left it at this, knowing that Zangoose was never happy about what happened. God, I thought Zangoose would be happy in Sydney In Damien's Board Shorts his phone started to ring I'm suprised that it still works and with those thoughts he awnsered the soaked but still working phone. "Hello" "Hi Damien, It's me" Oh god, Not now. I don't need to talk to my brother now "What is it Micheal? I don't have time for this" "Guess what I found" "Oh bloody hell, I don't have time to talk about you finding a rare pokemon" "I've caught a Lapras" "What?" A Lapras? How could he catch a Lapras? "Yeah you heard me. I'm down in Auckland" I don't really care "Well, I gotta go. This call will cost a ton." At this Damien hung up and started to contemplate how these turn of events could happen. His brother had caught a really rare pokemon and He had caught a bad tempered Sharpedo. Granted, Micheal wasn't the best trainer unlike Damien who was pretty good but it still wasn't fair. But he would prove his family that he was better than his older brother by winning the PFL. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Sorry That I didn't post this sooner. I thought that Nefertimon was before someone else instead of me so thats my explanation.
