1. Got myself a free DS Lite with my phone so lawfully I had to buy Pokemon Diamond, heh. Here be my code: William - 2792 8679 3485 Also, anyone who has a Stunky and/or Snover they want to trade please let me know!
2. This post is highly, highly tailored to those who enjoy sci-fi or rather, as I do, adore sci-fi. So let us begin: The Hyperion Cantos by Dan Simmons: This series is four books, each as brilliant as the last. Individually they are ?Hyperion?, ?The Fall of Hyperion?, ?Endymion? and ?The Rise of Endymion?. The main plot is split between the two sub-series of books, with Hyperion dealing with the Human Hegemony taking on the Ouster Swarms along with the nefarious machinations of the A.I. TechnoCore and Endymion dealing with the aftermath of the first two novels with the characters on the run from the reinvigorated Catholic Church and its all encompassing Pax. The Hyperion section is the more sci-fi of the two with the first book more a collection of separate tales about the seven Pilgrims which the book focuses on, the second Hyperion book then focuses more on the Ouster war and its overall consequences. Whereas Endymion has more of a spiritual side too it, especially as the main enemy is the Catholic Church, heh. I would highly recommend these books to serious readers as they are not for the light hearted ?One chapter before bed? reader. The Horus Heresy Series by various authors: Set in the 31st Millennium these books serve as the back story to one of the most monumental events in the fictional universe of Warhammer 40,000. So far there are five books in the series and they are all fantastic to read and a great way to enter the world of Warhammer 40,000. The books, so far, in order are:

Horus Rising by Dan Abnett.
False Gods by Graham McNeill.
Galaxy in Flames by Ben Counter.
Flight of the Eisenstein by James Swallow.
Fulgrim by Graham McNeill
Now you may think that having different authors for the books makes the series feel disjointed and bumpy but its quite the opposite. While each book still contains the characters you?ve grown to love the approach is always fresh and feels really good to read. I have no shame in saying these are the first books which have made be literally gasp or stop reading simply because I didn?t want anything bad to happen to my favourite characters. Again, highly recommended to sci-fi fans for being brilliant novels and a gateway into the huge galaxy that is Warhammer 40,000. The Eisenhorn Series by Dan Abnett: Another Warhammer 40,000 series, and one which couldn?t be more different from the Horus Heresy series. Instead of focusing on the awe inspiring Space Marines this series lends its focus to the shadowy and mysterious Holy Inquisition of the Emperor. Tasked with burning out the alien, the witch and the heretic from the Imperium of Man the Inquisition is the greyest faction within the universe of Warhammer 40,000. The three books of the series are ?Xenos?, ?Malleus? and ?Hereticus? and are named after the three main Ordos of the Inquisition. The main character of this series is the Ordo Xenos Inquisitor Gregor Eisenhorn. A fantastic piece of work that delves into one of the best parts of the Warhammer 40,000 mythos and is handled expertly by Dan Abnett who has a great flair for this kind of writing, describing in great detail Eisenhorns war against those who threaten the stability of the Imperium.

4. I've recently gotten back into playing 'Dawn of War' again and I was just wondering if there are other players of this fantastic game on OB. I know the silpheedPilot plays it as well but thats about it. Its a worth while game to get and you don't need to know anything about the Warhammer 40,000 universe to appreciate how good the game is. Basically, if you like RTS games you're going to love this game. Trust me. If there is a large enough player base I'd be interested in putting together some kind of tournament kind of thing. So any takers?
5. More locations for you Sami, I was feeling Piratey ;). -====- The Creative Docks (Maybe not final name) Description: Home to some of the most inventive and intuitive residents of Ob, sadly however many of them live a life of Piracy. Numerous Pirate bands operate out of this port, and the most notorious of these are the Bikini Bandits. Though you can still live here as a good law abiding citizen, so long as you get into a bar fight now and again. Buildings: Adventure Inn: The largest and best establishment in the Docks, whether it?s a quite drink or a bar room brawl you?re looking for this is the place. Adventure Square: Primarily a large market area where traders peddle their goods but Captains also look to recruit a crew here to journey to the Anthology Archipelago. There are also a myriad of smaller businesses and taverns in the city. NPCs: Athena, the Pirate Queen: Leader of the Bikini Bandits, feared throughout the Kingdom. Arcadia: The landlady of the Adventure Inn, be careful not to cross her. Sheriff Jones: The law enforcer of the Docks, though she isn?t above bribery. Anthology Archipelago Description: The islands of Anthology have long been a mystery to the Kingdom of Ob, few have dared to venture there for fear of the rumoured Voodoo-Priestess who lives on the islands. But there are tales enough of treasure that brave, or stupid, souls, will risk their lives to learn the Archipelagos secrets. Buildings/Locations: The Great Ruins: Thought to be an ancient City of the Oldies, legends of a great store of treasure lure adventures here. The Catacombs: Across all of the islands there are great tunnels dug, as if by a giant worm, indeed there are legends of the Great Worms of Ob. The Rock: The largest island in the Archipelago, it is said the Voodoo-Priestess lives here so almost none have ventured onto its soil. NPCs: Revelation of the Tribes: The Voodoo-Priestess of Anthology and ruler of all the Tribes there, she is not to be trifled with. Gavin, the Ancient One: While no one has ever seen him he is apparently one of the last living Oldies in Ob, who knows what secrets he will impart to those who find him? Tiana: Next to nothing is known about this Water Spirit, but it is said she is constantly searching for her true love and will kill any who stand in her way.
6. The Great Archive Description: In the far south areas of Ob where the jungles are green and lush is the Great Archive of the Oldies. It is said that the entire history of Ob is located here along with many strange and valuable artefact's, some dating from pre-history. Many undertake this perilous journey, but few have ever returned. Locations in the Archive: Index: From here the adventurer enters the Archive and can plot their course to what ever they are seeking. Halls of Knowledge: Stretching through out the entire Archives, here is recorded the history of Ob. Halls of Power: The most powerful, and some times dangerous, items and enchantments are kept locked away here. (I’m having trouble thinking of other locations so help with be appreciated) NPCs: Charles, Keeper of Wisdom: An ancient and powerful man who has guarded the Archives for untold years. The Blessing: A being of great magical power, left by the Oldies to assist Charles. Does this seem alright? I'm not so sure myself so I've put it up for consideration.
7. Maybe a sub-class could be something like "Fanatic", examples being Des with Zelda or me with Transformers. Could allow a special bonus of sorts or access to weapons/abilities related to whatever the character is obsessed with, heh.
8. This may force me to make describe OB the same way I did for my "Enter the Game" project but give it a medieval theme ;). I'll see what I can knock together.
9. I opened my eyes, the first mistake. Light exploded into my vision and I brought my hand up to block the intense brightness being forced into my bloodshot eyes. I made my next mistake a couple of minutes later, I sat up which instantly fucked my world up like you wouldn’t believe. I fell back onto my bed in a heap. From there I pieced together what I had done the night before, wait no, the day before. It had been graduation. ~*~ The drinking started around eleven in the morning, late I know but we had been to get our results first, seeing as we needed to have a reason to be drinking. Thankfully it was in celebration because we’d both passed and got our degrees. Not that I knew what the hell I was going to do with my degree, I was all about the driving now but Phil I think had plans. Plans which wouldn’t keep us together I think. Anyway, that’s not the point. So drinking got heavy around the midday point when everyone else started rolling in to the Union bar with their own results as well and eventually is was just one big piss up. After our fourth or fifth pint and seventh respective shots of sambucca Phil and I walked, or staggered, over to the pool table. I think we thought playing might sober us up a bit. Fortunately we didn’t have long to sober up before these two girls came over and asked to play. Damn it, can’t remember their names but then that’s never really that important. All of that afternoon is a big haze right now, what I do remember is loosing a few times to these girls, drinking more and finally agreeing to hook up with them later that night at a local club. Skip ahead a few hours. Now me and Phil, dressed in our finest, are with the girls in the night club and things are moving along at a fairly brisk pace. Phil went off with his girl and I didn’t see him again for a long while. Me and...crap still can’t remember her name, whatever, me and the girl aren’t doing much talking by this point anyway so I can’t be blamed for not remembering her name. Again more fuzz. I’m standing outside with Phil and these girls, I can’t decide if I’m bored of them or not but I let them stick around. All I care about now is getting home. We walk around to where I parked my car, a beauty of thing that car. Most people spend their loans on booze, I spent mine on my car and it really shows. Now I remember what happened. ~*~ I should’ve realised how drunk I really was, but I didn’t care and none of the others were sober enough to stop me. I know we had an accident and I know my car is totalled now. I know me and Phil ran as fast as we could from the accident and didn’t think twice about those girls. I know we have to leave now and I know that I’m sober again. I wake Phil. It’s time for us to leave. ~*~*~*~ “JP? Hey, you alright?” Phil says to me. Taking my hand of the wheel briefly I rub my eyes. “Yeah I’m fine. Just tired I guess.” We don’t talk about how we came to America anymore, all that matters is that we’re hear now and making good money. Its not honest money but its good money. “Who’s the unlucky bastard we’re after tonight then?” I ask with a smirk. Phil replied with a smirk of his own. “Just some lowlife that owes the Chief some money, no killing tonight. Just need to rough them up and get the money.” I keep my sardonic smirk as I move to switch the cars stereo system on. Before long we’re shooting down the freeway with Disturbed pounding in our ears as we get closer to the nights work. In the back of my mind though, I know I’ll never forget that girls name now. Tiana. -===- Hope this is the kind of thing you're after Mike.

Taking things into his own hands Jokopoko strode into the Arena and began doing his moddly duties. He threw a towel on Raiha, "You, cover up now! This is a PG thread." "I've seen people banned for worse behavior and if one of you thinks of swearing I swear I'll Mod Rod you into next week!" Jokopoko waved his Mod Rod threateningly at the whole group before marching up to the Penguins and Charles.
11. If no one minds I'm gonna try and make this a general Transformers thread rather than focusing solely on the new movie. So this'll cover stuff like the original cartoon, Marvel comics and so on. Now my main knowledge base of Transformers comes from Generation One, Beast Wars, Beast Machines and the new IDW comic book series. Currently my favoured Transformer continuity, or reality or whatever, really has to be IDWs new treatment of the series because I feel it really gets to the core of what Transformers really are. And that is Robots In Disguise. The basics behind IDWs re-invention of the G1 universe is a kind of Cold War basis, in which the Transformers war has spread out from Cybertron and has cells from each faction working on planets in an effort to, for the Decepticons, conquer them for raw materials and, for the Autobots, keep them safe from Decepticon Infiltration. I also have a special love for Beast Wars because it is simply pure, unadulterated, Transformers pwnage XD. So now I want to know what you lot know and love about Transformers.
12. I have to wait another flippin' month for this film ¬_¬, 27th of July for us Brits. As is obvious I'm a diehard fan of Transformers and because of that I know that the franchise hasn't survived this long without re-inventing itself every now and again, from Beast Wars to (Urgh) the Unicron Trilogy all Transformers cartoons and comic books have various similarities but a lot of differences. I'm not going to watch this film hoping for it to be a complete re-hash of G1 because I know it won't be, and it doesn't need to be. I've read the IDW prequel comics and read the prequel novel "Ghosts of Yesterday" and so far I like this new take on the Transformer franchines. Plus the trailers and bloody amazing! lol.
13. Gavin & Andy: I stick these two together because they have to be, my fellow TF fans and together we account for three fourths of the British Isles, now we need to find a Scotsman... Jamie/Ezekiel: She is simply one of the most fantastic people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing and I'm looking forward to the point when I can either drive or have enough spare cash to go visit her, lol. Mike/The Boss: This bloke is a proper top quality geezer. Thats what I'd say if I sounded how Mike thinks I sound. A great guy, brilliant creative spark, it'd be a pleasure to meet him in person. Tiana/Keyblade Wielder: Tiana, she so crazy. Min/Cyriel: Don't think she frequents OB much any more these days but I still talk to her when I can. Someday we're going to go to Stone Henge and sit on the stones, lol. Kei: Used to talk to Kei loads and loads but not so much anymore, would still be cool to meet her methinks 'cause shes a top quality lass. There's a plethora of other people I'd like to meet as including, but not limited to: Mary/Sakura, Phil/Blayze, Steve/Lrb, Annie/Athena, D'Ann/Raiha, Erica/Revelation. Sorry if I missed anyone out, I may add to this later.
14. Good to see you back Arcadia, still brimming with ideas I see, Its late at night for me so I want to stake my claim on trying to put something together for 6,7 and 8 if thats okay 'cause seeing as they're all close to each other and separate from the other landmasses I figure I'd like to write something that can link the three of them together. Hopefully I should be able to start that tomorrow. Gotta say I'm impressed with this idea and hope it all comes to fruition ^_^.
15. As you all know, or should know, my biggest love in terms of geekyness/nerdyness is 'The Transformers'. I've tried a few TF RPGs in the past and none of them have ever taken off in any fashion so I'm making this thread in an effort to gather together the other TF fans on OB to see if we can pool our resources and come up with a good TF RP idea that we can all enjoy. To get the ball rolling I'm currently working on something of a Beast Machines sequel based on the final pages of the Transformers comic book "Dawn of Future's Past" which shows G1 Razorclaw returning to lead the Predacons against the Maximals in the aftermath of the Great Reformating.
16. Real Name: Rassilon Mont?da D?yanoi. Human Name: James C. Fisher. Real Age: Somewhere in the region of 28,000. Apparent Age: Late twenties/Early thirties. Gender: Male. Marital Status: Officially single but in his time on Earth James has had liaisons with many women, hoping to improve the gene-pool on the Earth in some fashion at least. Occupation: A Paranormal/Extra-terrestrial Investigator in New York State and wider America. Ever since arriving on Earth James has been looking for a way to escape the planet and return to his birth right in the stars as one of the Immortals but so far all of his investigations have either yielded wreckage or have been some human hoax. Appearance: Click here. Personality: The word that best defines James is eccentric. Ever since he arrived on Earth the humans he has been in contact with have always found something odd about it, be it his obsession with the paranormal or his inability to stay settled for too long before moving on to the next big thing. He is not one for personal attachments either as he doesn?t put much stock in the human race, preferring to drift across the country and only making brief friends. Location: Primarily based in New York City but has various locations set up across America. Immortal Artefacts

Perception Filter: Worn as a small badge on his jacket or any item of clothing James can use it to become barely noticeable to those around him.
Quantum Screwdriver: A kind of ?do-all? tool from his days on Arcadia, though some of the functions no longer work or James has simply forgotten about them.

17.
Ironic, I just got two new CD's today. A few days ago I got another one too. Disturbed - Ten Thousand fists: A good CD. Includes two of my favorite songs. I was originally looking for something else, but I saw this and BOOM; I bought it. A lot of the songs are good, but I hardly listen to this CD. Once I get my new MP3, I'll listen to it a lot more.
Just want to say good buy with that, Disturbed rock, heh. Can't wait for their new album, woo.
18. Here's what I got: 1. Linkin Park - Bleed it Out: At first my favourite song off of the new LP album but given it's charged political nature I'm a little wary of it now, still a great song though. 2. Disturbed - Remember: A great song from their second album and a killer video to boot. It's a good song to listen if you're feeling kinda down or emo like :p. 3. Linkin Park - No More Sorrow: This is a song I listened to a lot a few weeks ago after some unpleasantnesses with a girl. The lyrics are simple but effective and exactly what I needed to hear. 4. Idlewild - In Remote, Pt. 1/Scottish Fiction: A pretty sweet song with a good sound and beat to it. It can be really uplifting or keep you downlow depending on how you're feeling at the time. 5. Kasabian - Empire: I'll be honest here, I heard this song in a club and downloaded it on a whim so it doesn't really have any significant meaning to me or anything...I just like how it sounds, heh. 6. Disturbed - Numb: Another great song that starts out the way you feel, pretty down but then kicks it up to make you nice and angry. A great song from their first album. 7. DJ Otzi - Doo Wah Diddy: One of those happy go lucky songs that everyone has to hear because its so fantastically cheesy and uplifting. 8. "Weird Al" Yankovic - Virus Alert: Just like most of his songs this is just a great parody by Mr. Yankovic, good to listen to if you're looking for a bit of a chuckle. 9. Disturbed - The Game: My absolute favourite song from their first album. A great feel and sound to it, again like all Disturbed songs a good song to listen to if you want to get angry at someone. 10. Linkin Park - Runaway: A classic from LP, I like it a lot but its not as good as their later offerings. 11. Beastie Boys - Sabotage: Quality tune from the Beastie Boys, the only rappers that I actually like. Not much to say about this song other than I like it a lot. 12. Gary Jules - Mad World: Dude...I have too many depressing songs, heh. 13. José González - Crosses: One of the few songs I have by José González but I think this'll be one of my favourites, again like many of my songs its a kinda love lost one...if you follow. 14. B.R.M.C. - What Ever Happened To My Rock 'n' Roll: Thats better, a song that isn't about love or depression! A nice upbeat tune that gets you in the mood for a night out. 15. The Flaming Lips - It Overtakes Me/The Stars Are So Big, I Am So Small...Do I Stand A Chance: The first part of this song I fell in love with due to a beer advert, the power of alcohol! But the second half I didn't like until I properly listened to it the whole way though and now I like it, woo. With the majority of those songs being depressing or about lost love you lot must think I'm an emo, but I'm not I swear!
19. Hrm, well if memory serves these are my most recent purchases: Mute Math - Mute Math: After hearing their take on the Transformers Theme for the new film I was instantly in love with this band and went out to get their album. I love it, its awesome and I recommended it to anyone. Typical and Noticed are my favourite songs so far. Hans Zimmer - At Worlds End Soundtrack: Bought this the day after I saw the movie. While its not my favourite of the soundtracks from the PotC series it is definitely a strong one. The best piece from this album for me is Up is Down, closely followed by One Day. Linkin Park - Minutes to Midnight: Got this the day after release 'cause I had an exam on day of release and forgot about it, heh. I adore this album, really love all of the tracks on it and recommended to any rock or Linkin Park fan, no exceptions. Favourite songs on this are Valentines Day, No More Sorrow and In Pieces.
20.
I miss my long hair.
Sorry but I have to ask this, can you actually smile? I mean every photo of you is the exact same face, it's creepy.
21. I realise that if I actually cared about being an OB star, I'd most likely fall under "Method 10: Be obsessive and proud of it." given that I adore Transformers and any of my OB friends will tell you this. Also my avi and banner should tip you off as well.
22. 1) What is your element of power? My Legend of Zelda sweatband. 2) Who taught you how to ride a bike? No one did, I do not ride a bike. 3) When do birds suddenly appear? I think you'll find it's why do birds suddenly appear?
23. This is a Lord of the Rings piece I wrote a while back. It's a little more for die hard fans rather than casual ones given its nature. This is a meeting between the last true King of Númenor, Tar-Palantír, and Elrond. They talk about what is to come in the future. ~*~ Far Off Thoughts The court yard of the Kings House was bathed in the orange light of the setting sun. The ending of the day heralded the blossoming of Nimloth, tree of the Kings of Númenor. In the stillness of the dusk Nimloth awoke, bringing forth the white flowers for which it was known. Time seemed to slow as the perfume of these flowers was released into the air, caught upon the wind and floated down to the people of Armenelos. The great wooden doors opened spilling candle light into the court yard yet this light was soon blocked as a figure emerged from the House, closing the door behind him. Tar-Palantír walked toward Nimloth and allowed its perfume to wash over him, relaxing him in a way that could not be duplicated by the craft of Men, even the Men of Númenor. In these troubled times the King sought many ways to calm himself so he could best discover the will or Eru and hear the words of Manwë calling to him on the winds out of the West. He raised one of his work worn hands and held a flower of Nimloth in his hand, contemplating how a thing of such beauty could be so simple to the eyes. In the shadows a hooded figure, tall and proud, moved silently so as not to disturb the King in his thought. ?Why have you come to this place, Lord Elrond of Imladris?? Tar-Palantír said, his gaze never leaving the flower. The darkened figure appeared to be slightly taken aback at these words but never the less Elrond came into the light, removing the cloak as he came. The old King turned to the Elf and smiled: ?I did not call myself ?far-sighted? without reason, Uncle?. The Elf looked curiously at Tar-Palantír for a moment and saw that there was truth in his words, he was still related to the Kings of Númenor through his brotherhood with Elros. ?I come because I wish to know the future of Westernesse. What shall become of the Land of Gift when you leave this world behind? The Faithful are fighting a losing battle I fear?. The King stared at Elrond for a time before turning and walking to the balcony that overlooked Armenelos and much of the Isle of Númenor. He stood looking at his realm before answering the Elven Lord. ?You speak as though the battle were already lost, Lord Elrond. There are more Faithful with each setting of the sun. Our kin shall see the error of their ways in time?. ?How much time do you need? You are not long for this world as you well know. What would happen if one not of like mind ascends the throne and takes the Sceptre of Númenor? All will come to ruin for the Lords of the West will not tolerate their Gift being used so.? ?All these things may indeed come to pass. It is true that I am not long for the world,? Tar-Palantír said with a heavy heart. He cast his eyes over to his house and he seemed to be raised slightly, ?yet I do not fear for the safety of Númenor for my daughter, Míriel, shall take my place and I know she shall continue my works and purpose.? Now Elrond walked to the balcony and looked out upon the city himself and his eyes fell on the dwelling of Gimilkhâd. ?What of your brother, and his son Pharazôn, they oppose you as much as they can in open speech and it is rumoured yet more in secret. Could your daughter prevent either usurping?? At these words Tar-Palantír looked gravely at Elrond, speaking in a tone that betrayed his true feelings. ?I know my brother and nephew do not believe as I and the Faithful believe but they are honourable Men. They would not break the law of Númenor which has governed all since your brother walked these shores.? ?I know the law, Eldameldo, but you know as well as I that the hearts of Men can be easily turned to dark thoughts?. Tar-Palantír took a deep breath as if to retort against the Elven Lord but he caught himself before he spoke, he did not wish to begin an argument with Elrond. ?It is true that some of our Kin have turned to dark thoughts but that is not the way of the Númenoreans. Even with their backs turned to the Valar and Maiar my people know the darkness that Morgoth wrought, and what Sauron may yet cause,? He gestured to Armenelos behind him, ?we are thankful for what Eru gave us, this Land of Gift, and I tell you that we shall not forsake this land; Even after my death.? Tar-Palantír could feel his anger rising, it was only heightened by the calmness in Elrond?s face as if the Elf had expected the King to prove his words with his own. He retreated to Nimloth and once more took in its beauty. ?You see that even you rise to anger with speed, Inziladûn. Can even you not see what is in the future for Westernesse?? The Elven Lord had used the Kings Adûnaic name to measure his remaining anger. Tar-Palantír did not rise to the challenge; he had no wish to prove his point any further. So he measured himself and answered the question calmly. ?There are things yet far off in thought that I can not see, Heru. The darkness is gathering in Arda and it clouds my vision. I can only but guess to the fate of Númenor from the images I can glimpse in the darkness.? A silence filled the courtyard as Elrond and Tar-Palantír allowed it to say what the two of them wished not to. Strong winds out of the West blew over Armenelos and Tar-Palantír could see much of the light in the city flicker as the candles were extinguished by the forces of the West. Tar-Palantír could see by the look upon Elrond?s face, it was obvious the meeting was over. ?I shall take my leave Eldameldo, may the light of the Eärendil protect you and your people.? ?I pray that he will Lord Elrond. Your father, I see, still cares greatly for this Island and the people? Tar-Palantír said as he motioned his arm toward the sky, pointing out Eärendil in the fading light of the Sun. The Elven Lord looked upon the light for a time before moving once more into the shadow, leaving the Isle of Westernesse. Tar-Palantír was left alone in the fading light with his thoughts. Allowing his mind to wander as he viewed things long past and far off. He still could not fully perceive what was in Númenor?s future, only flashes of imagery. A powerful fleet of Gold, harboured in the ports of Númenor preparing for war; but with who they were going to war with Tar-Palantír could not see for the darkness of evil had grown great. The King sighed, he could only trust in the Valar and Eru to look over his people after he had departed from the world. He was alone with his thoughts for a time before the wooden doors of his house opened once more, and Míriel entered the courtyard. She walked over to her father, placing a hand on his shoulder she said: ?Atar, mother sent me to fetch you inside. It is almost time for supper.? He smiled and placed his own hand upon hers. ?I shall be in shortly Míriel, go help your mother?. His daughter looked at him for a moment with a concerned look but it quickly vanished as she nodded and returned inside. Leaving the King alone in the courtyard with the fully blossomed Nimloth, for the Sun had set and Númenor had come to darkness. __________________ Elven Words 1. Eldameldo ? Elf-Lover 2. Heru ? OOC: Just so you know, I?m going for a Greek theme with my character. Name: Vangelis Narciso. Age: 46. Gender: Male. Kingdom: Kingdom of Johto. Pokémon ? Type: Skarmory. Pokémon ? Name: Apostolos. Pokémon ? Type: Donphan. Pokémon ? Name: Phylasso. Writing Preview: Stepping out of his tent Vangelis shielded his eyes from the suns rays. In addition to the brightness Vangelis could already feel the intense heat of the day threatening to make him sweat through his lighter armour, he dreaded to think what it would be like once he donned full battle dress. As his eyes adjusted to the light of a breaking dawn he looked over the camp and was pleased to see that the camp was alive with movement and activity already. News of the advancing Kanto forces was only days old yet he soldiers under his command made it look as though they had been ready for war for many months now, all training themselves as well as their Pokèmon with an unrivalled vigour. Pushing his long black hair out of his eyes Vangelis began a slow walk down to the clearing where he had left Phylasso to rest the previous night. Phylasso was a giant of a Donphan, standing near ten feet tall, easily four feet clear of Vangelis himself, and with tusks powerful enough to shatter any rock that stood in his way. Like many War Donphan Phylasso was equipped with leather armour to protect his head and sides along with a saddle across his back for Vangelis. There was also the choice of steel covers for the tips of his tusks. As Vangelis approached the Pokèmon looked in his direction and happily extended his trunk as a way of greeting his Master, who allowed the trunk to coil around his left arm while stroking it with his right hand. ?I hope you are rested and ready old friend. I fear we will need your strength many times in the coming battles.? Vangelis said softly. Phylasso grunted as animals do and, withdrawing his trunk from his masters arm, began making his way to a near by tree for some much needed food. Smiling to himself as he watched the great Pokèmon walk off ?Ever since we?ve been together he?s never changed. Always thinking with his stomach.? Lost in his thought the old soldier failed to here the familiar swooping sound of his other Pokèmon returning from his morning hunt. Apostolos was too large to perch on his Master shoulder as he had when he was younger, so he took his place by his Masters side coming up to his eye level. Vangelis automatically placed his hand on the Skarmory?s head, though was careful to avoid the rather prominent head blade. Looking down his left arm was enough reminder for him, a scar ran down the length of the arm courtesy of a misunderstanding between himself and Apostolos many years ago. The metal bird Pokèmon had always been very proud but also loyal, though the loyalty was not there from the start and had to be worked on by both parties. Having been in the wilds for so long had turned Apostolos? steel skin somewhat burnished bronze, this was down to the heat and conditions he had had to endure in the past. In Apostolos? mouth was a young Sandshrew and would serve as his morning meal. Leaving his Pokèmon to their own devices Vangelis returned to his tent intending to equip himself for the days tasks. ?They will come,? he thought, ?But we will be ready for them.?
25. Well your avatar is a flower so that must mean you're a girl and you're arty (Woo, stereotyping). Your signature is blank so that means you're mysterious and don't like to say a lot about what you like...or just haven't put anything there yet. And you're title also makes you sound mysterious and arty. So I deduce that you're a girl who is arty and mysterious.
