1. Character Name: A. B. Slime Chosen Character: Blob Background: Slime [As he prefers to be called] was the last character to be drawn so this obviously makes him the youngest. His first memory is opening his eyes and seeing that he had been drawn on the far side of the paper Jimmy on which had drawn the heroic team on and so his first quest began, to get to the other side. Slowly but surely we slid his way over leaving behind him a thick black trail of Ink for reasons unknown to him but he just learned to live with it. Half way across the paper as he was wishing he could move faster he felt his body shift around him and out popped several feet underneath him. Figuring out he had the ability to shape his body seeing as he was this blob thing he straight away became a more rounded pen figure because if he was feeling sad at a particular moment or not happy with his appearance he could just morph and *poof* he was different. By the time he reached the other side of the paper and meet the Hero, the Mage, and the Ninja he had become very egotistical and declared he should be the leader seeing as he had the best power and could make himself incredibly sexah thus become irresistible to the female villains, assuming Jimmy drew any. But the Hero and the Ninja just laughed at him and stuck their beers in his back because he was easier to use than a coaster and that just made him mad; and so before the journey had even begun Slime already disliked some of his companions. As for the Mage Slime didn?t pay him much heed because the Mage was off somewhere staring out into the distance on the papers edge. So while the fellowship waited for Jimmy to drawn the first task/adventure thing Slime busied himself with seeing how many things he could morph into. Morph power Just like to give a bit more information on the morphing. A. B. Slime can morph his body into pretty much anything but it drains his energy a bit each time and he can?t hold it indefinitely. Generally he just makes himself vaguely human shaped but with weapons instead of hands. The morphing ability makes him a great asset to the fellowship and so it?s gone to his head a bit. Personality: He was the last drawn thus he is the youngest. Being the youngster of the fellowship Slime is the most admiring of the world they?re in and generally gets lost in thought. At first he was very optimistic and ready for the challenges that faced him once he got to the other side of the paper and then when he found his morph ability it made him very big-headed and egotistical and thus very insufferable around the others. Now after he has meet the others of the fellowship and has gained some greater control of his power he feels annoyed that Hero and Ninja treat him badly so he resents slightly while still having a big head about his power and being, as he sees it, the most important part of the fellowship.
  2. The Loonatics ?These faces may appear familiar, but trust me; this is an entirely different world? ~*~ ?There have always been two dimensions within the Human world, the first being referred to as the ?Real World? and the second being referred to as the ?Toon World?. For as long as Humans have existed so have the Toons. In the Real World it was long supposed that the Toon World only existed as part of the Human psyche, or our imagination. But we were wrong. Ever since the first Toons were drawn their world has been as real as ours though we cannot see it, just as they cannot see ours. In the beginning the Toon World was crude, colours out of their lines, the sky often any colour but blue and the Toons themselves were rather simple in appearance, most often Stick Figures. ?Eventually Humanity became better skilled in drawing the Toons and so their world developed along with ours. Characters, cities and even planets would pop in to existence every so often and were greeted warmly by the residents of the Toon World. So as Humanity created new and better ways to draw the Toons themselves began to evolve and take on more defined looks. Even the older Toons started changing, their colours more realistic, everything in proportion and their personalities more defined. ?So all was good in the land of the Toons; that was until Man discovered how to travel to the stars. Suddenly the Toons were no longer important and lay forgotten in the vast archives of Mans knowledge as he drew further and further away from the Toons he had created. So it came to pass that the Toons realised they had to stop all their adventure and wacky games in order to create a society that was no longer dependant on Humanity. And so the New Toon World took shape.? ~*~ The Year 2772 ?It has been sometime since Man discovered space flight and voyaged to the Stars and found nothing but empty planets. With this discovery space travel lost its wonder and mystery as it was realised Humanity was alone in the Galaxy. Such troubles did not plague the Toon World as they had entered a Golden Age, technology was reaching incredible heights, comedy had been developed as a basis for culture and the Toons along with the World they inhabited became more realistic as the days went by thus they soon lost their comical appearances and took on more realistic appearances. ?Man was oblivious to the change that had come about in the Toon World and nor did they care. With space travel now obsolete it was decided to focus on Inter-Dimensional travel instead. Rather than finding new races they would find alternate versions of Humanity in an attempt to create a Utopian society. But while Man was busy tinkering with the fabric of space a new threat entered the Milky Way from a distant galaxy, they were hell bent on conquering our Galaxy and removing our kind. But they had not counted on one thing. The Toons. ?Just as Humanity breached the dimensional barrier between their World and the Toon World the alien invaders struck the outer colonies of the Solar System and Humanity was at War again. With the discovery of the Toons Humanity hoped to find an ally in the war against the Invaders. Speaking of an Alliance between Humanity and Toons for the first time they attempted to gain the trust of the Toons. ?The Toons themselves had forced their wacky instincts and destructive nature down in order to keep their society stable. Now faced with the prospect of a full-scale War the Toons, quite literally, went insane. They quickly agreed and entered the Real World through the portals Humanity had made. As always in a War their must be the Elite of the Elite or in this case the Wackiest of the Wacky. And in this case they are THE LOONATICS.? ~*~ This is based on a new Cartoon that WB are doing and I want to get some reactions to this idea. Vicky and I are doing this and we're just checking what people think about it. Jokopoko
  3. Vicky: I?m hungry ;_;. Jokopoko: [^_^;;] Heh, sorry about that. Curse my insomnia and all that business. I should be back in a few hours, yeah? While talking on the phone Joko caught sight of Methuselah out of the window looking rather menacing with that over-sized sword of hers. He could feel a head-ache coming on just as a large sweat-drop appeared on his head. Methuselah appeared out of the back door and mouthed ?Vicky?? to him, he quickly nodded. Vicky: [¬_¬] You?d better be. Jokopoko: Heh, don?t worry. I will be. See you soon. Joko placed the phone back down on the receiver thinking it was high time he get back to his work what with the large number of members that were lined up out side waiting for the auditions. But before he could even think about working on this he heard the familiar sounds of trouble brewing at the back door. ?The girl and her temper? He thought before making his way to prevent Methy from attacking a poor member who may deserve what ever she was about to do that still didn?t mean she should do it. He stood behind her was she was raising her sword against a crowd of young Gokus who obviously didn?t know who they were messing with. Saving the situation Joko gave Methuselah a quick tap on the shoulder which prompted her to sheathe the sword, turn around and smile meekly at him. Methuselah: Hello there, Jokopoko. Jokopoko: [-__-] No killing new members close to my studio, I told you before. Methuselah: Yessir. Jokopoko: Now seeing as you?re here you can help with the auditions for the new RPG. He smirked as he saw a sweatdrop appear on Methuselah?s face before she nodded quickly but was sure to show the annoyance on her face. Joko laughed a little and motioned for her to open the door to let the members in while he took his seat at the desk. She sat down next to him with a noticeable huff before picking up the notepad in front of and taking the members details down quickly. Jokopoko: Now then Ohkami, in your own time... ~*~ After a few hours of stressful auditions Joko was just about ready to throw in the towel and Methuselah had a similar expression on her face. He some how managed to will himself to stand and walk to the door where only a few members remained. Jokopoko: Thank you all for coming, were stopping for today but be sure to come along tomorrow. They group slowly filtered away, some walking down to the Underground and others taking the tube system to another part of the Island. Joko let out a sigh of relief before closing the door and slumping onto the floor beneath him. Methuselah: Heh, I feel the same way. Now that we?re done [¬_¬] you?d better get back to Vicky. Jokopoko: [O__O] Uh oh....yeah I?ll see you later Jamie. And on that note Joko found new reserves of energy and ran straight out of the studio on a beeline for the tube. He quickly shut the door and garbled his address so much he had to take a minute to catch himself and say it again before he was sucked up into the vast transport system and shot through loops and other assorted shapes before arriving home to rather annoyed looking Vicky. Jokopoko: Well I did say a few hours... Vicky: Hmm, well as long as we get some food I?ll be happy [:D] Jokopoko: Alrighty then, to the Prefecture we shall go. ~*~ OOC: I just like to say that can people who?ve already posted try not to move along their stories to fast so the people who have yet to post get a chance to start their own ^_^. Also once this chapter is over we?ll be posting pretty much in the same locations as opposed to spread out, any questions/comments/suggestions can be put in the Underground.
  4. OtakuBoards: Enter the Game ??You were prepared for us to be sucked into the Boards by a freak accident, start a virtual community and deal with an army of spam-throwing hackers?" ? Desbreko, Enter the Net -=============- About a year ago a freak accident involving some coffee, lighting and a clumsy Australian resulted in the un-imaginable happening. An entire community of people were transported into the Internet and started a virtual island which was modelled after the place they had all come from, a place called OtakuBoards. In the beginning all was calm and peaceful; the RPGs went on [Albeit with some difficulty] the discussions were of a relatively high-standard for all, Play It was always full of loud bangs and triumphant yelps or disappointed squeals and of course the Yu-Yu-Hakusho forum was just there and nothing much could be done about it. And for a time things were good, the moderators were much more daunting in the ?flesh? so people mostly kept to the rules and everyone got on well that was until IT happened. A rogue hacker program known as H4XX0r came to the boards with an army of Spam-Throwers known as the l33t with the idea of conquering the boards. But James, Adam, Charles and the rest of the team weren?t going down without a fight. With the super spiffy Mod-Suits and the equally spiffy Mod-Zords they were able to eradicate H4XX0r and the majority of his spam throwers. The conflict had destroyed most of the Island as well as the OtakuBuilding itself so the task of re-building the Island into version.7 was begun and that?s pretty much where we are now, though the Island is a lot different. Instead of having all the forums and sub-forums squashed into one building it was decided to expand across the Island and each Forum and Sub-Forum would have its own little piece of OB-Island to call home. So everyone is happy and no one really has a care in the world but the gentle members of OB do not realise that the remains of H4XX0r are re-building themselves into H4XX0r v.2 with a mission of vengeance on his mind. -=============- Chapter One: Riddles in the dark... Participants ? Everyone ?The purpose of this Chapter is really to introduce your character and how you live/work/enjoy yourself on the island. You can use members from the Boards as NPCs if you wish. At the end of the Chapter I?ll make a post from H4XX0r v.2?s point of view. I hope you all enjoy yourselves with this RP and that this is the start of something special.? -=============- The digital sun rose over the quiet suburban estate of RPG Boulevard and the members began to wake from their peaceful slumber, Jokopoko on the other hand had been up for a few hours now seeing as he hadn?t been able to sleep for a good while he?d become the epitome of a morning person much to the annoyance of his neighbours. Though this lifestyle didn?t suit him he found it to his advantage to wake early seeing as it gave him a head start on the day thus allowing him to get more work done down at JP Studios. After a full English breakfast Joko stepped out onto his front porch and took in a large breath of the digital air. Jokopoko: Ah, I love the smell of freshly programmed HTML in the morning. Casting his eyes to the sky he took in the usual site that greeted him each morning; the sun glinting off the Adventure Arena, the distant sea lapping up against the shore and the perfectly blue sky with equally perfect clouds floating high in the air. It never rained on the Island, there was never bad weather for that matter, Joko did sometimes wish for a difference because knowing what the Island would look like every day was a tad monotonous. Choosing to walk to Adventure Recruitment today instead of the tube ride Joko locked his myOtaku home behind him and went off down the street greeting his neighbours as he passed their front gardens or passed them in the street. No question, life was good on the Island. ~*~ Before getting to Recruitment Joko decided to take a walk through the Underground instead, thinking it would get his creative juices flowing. Everywhere he looked their were posters advertising the ?Coming Attractions? to the Adventure Arena and promising sneak peaks at the plot lines or an interview with the creator. The members around him were all chattering amongst themselves, some wanting to trade old Adventure equipment for the latest thing to hit the stores. These days members could equip their characters with weapons they?d purchased in the Underground which was akin to ?Upgrading? your characters which added more complexity to the RPG experience on the Island, which of course was a good thing. Stall Owner: ?Scuse me! Could I interest you in the latest upgrade for your Arena weaponry? Guaranteed to revolutionise your RPGing experience! Jokopoko: No thank you, I?m fine. Joko smiled a little and placed his hand on the Lightsabre attached to his belt, where it had been for roughly a year an a half now. ?Best weapon I?ve ever brought, for sure? He thought as he made his way through the throng of members. Eventually he found himself in front of the Adventure Arena which had a steady stream of members going in and out as the RPGs started and finished. Casting his eyes skyward Joko could just make out the Team Hanzo Headquarters atop the Dome. Thinking for a few moments he returned his gaze to Recruitment and made his way to what could be considered work. Joko finally found himself in front of JP Studios and was greeted with a line of hopefuls queuing up to be in his next RPG. He gave them all a smile before walking in and setting things straight before he could let them in. Within a few moments he was ready to let them in but the phone began ringing, sighing a little he went over a picked it up. Jokopoko: Hello?
  5. Well ladies and gentlemen the time has come for this adventure to start, so it is my great honour to introduce the team for ?Enter the Game?. ============== ?The Leader? ? Jokopoko Place of Residence: The Arena. Favourite Hangout: Adventure Recruitment. Favoured Weapon: Custom designed light-sabre. The handle is custom designed so Jokopoko can alter the length of the sabre at will giving him an edge in combat due to the surprise, the blade is green in colour and the intensity can be shifted from full power which can cut through anything but another light-sabre blade to the lowest setting which will leave a scorching burn. Motto/Saying: ?That, as they say in the business, is how it?s done?. Skill(s): Jokopoko brings his unique brand of leadership and cunning to the group. He also has his own style of bitchin? fighting moves; he can blend the Matrix actions of his Avatars namesake with his skill with the Light-sabre and can quickly dispatch multiple enemies. He also has some skill with HTML which he can use to open shortcuts in the Island?s code. Appearance: Click here. Personality: For the most part Jokopoko is a care-free spirit who doesn?t always follow by the rules, unless of course he?s made the rules in the first place. Most of the time he?s more worried about how he?s going to come up with an excuse for not doing the work instead of doing it but he will always comes through in the end. He?ll always stick up for his friends if they need him too. Sometimes he surprises himself by doing a rather amazing act without realising. He has a strong sense of loyalty and will go out of his way to help his friends if they need it. With the looming danger of H4XX0r.2 he will have to find the leader with him rather sharpish or else the Island may not survive. Short Bio: Joko happened by the OtakuBoards while browsing for a place to get reactions for his idea on a Digimon story that was titled ?Digimon: Elemental Force?. Needless to say it didn?t do well but he found something much, much better in return. The amazing thing that is the Otaku RPG and he hasn?t left the arena since, even on the Island. During the whole ?entry? sequence into the Boards Joko wasn?t paying much attention to the chat so when he woke up on the Islands shores with a mannequins body it goes with out saying he was somewhat freaked out, though we quickly saw the cool side and got the grips of the User-Interface system with out much trouble at all. During the OtakuBuilding phase of the Island Joko spent his time wandering around the gaming forum and M.M.T.V. forum more because it was easier to interact with the members and he didn?t forget if he?d started a new thread somewhere or made a post in a thread that had caught his fancy. He was also known to frequent the Yu-Gi-Oh duel arenas every so often but that side of him died quickly. As for RPGs he didn?t have that much time to get any good ones seeing as H4XX0r had to come and ruin things. Joko spent most of the H4XX0r encounter in the Adventure Arena using his characters to fend off the n00bs. Now days he likes to relax in his hip pad on RPG Boulevard, far removed from the rabble of fans he finds when ever he enters the Underground. Other times he is frantically writing down at JP Studios thinking up the next smash hit for the Island. ============== ?The Hard-***? - Blackjack Place of Residence: Tokyo 3. Favourite Hangout: Manga Workshop. Favoured Weapon: Japanese naginata (a long staff with a blade on the end; think Seung Mina in Soul Calibre 2). Motto/Saying: To Whiners/Moaners/Emo kids: "Do you want a tissue? To wipe the tears away?". Skill(s): Fluency in some of the more obscure dialects of l33t (I have some friends who consider themselves to be l33t...), and a Spiderman-esque Apostrophe Sense - no one that writes "it's" when they mean "its" will ever be safe again. Appearance: Click here Personality: Prone to bouts of introspection when the pressure's on, but full of determination. If a job's worth doing, it's worth doing well. Some say that he loves Mecha a little bit too much to be considered normal. Unbelievers, they will never understand. Short Bio: Most of the time since arriving on the island has been spent shuttling back and forth between the Manga Workshop - shut in a side room scribbling down storylines, character profiles and lists of potentially interested artists for various projects - and the Mecha Battlefield, taking on all comers in Akito's black Aestivalis from ?Nadesico: Prince of Darkness?. ============== ?The Funny One? ? Lady Katana Place of Residence: Manga Workshop Favourite Hangout: MW Library. Favoured Weapon: Quarterstaff Motto/Saying: *gasp* Ooo, shiny! Skill(s): Knowledge of almost every anime and Manga art style known to man. Appearance: Click here Personality: Pretty much happy-go-lucky most of the time. Enjoys a good chat with friends, though can be somewhat shy at times. Can become very evil and mean when angered. Short Bio: Ever since arriving on the Island, after the new forums had been set up, Lady K (using third person to make this easier on myself) has made it her mission to try and collect as many series of Manga as she can so that the Island can have the most complete collection. She's often seen either in the stacks making sure that all the titles are in alphabetized and in their proper series order, or at her main acquisitions terminal trying to find more. She does take time out, however, to try and have a little fun, be it participating in an RPG, drawing her own comic, or having a chat with the few friends that she has around the Island. ============== ?The Odd-Ball? ? Mimmi Place of Residence: The Prefecture Favourite Hangout: The Lounge Favoured Weapon: Shears. Motto/Saying: "In a very innocent way" Skill(s): Sillyness and team work (mostly by acting as a distraction so that others can "go for the kill"); can also commandeer sheep quite brilliantly. Appearance: Click here Personality: Mimmi is very silly most of the time but, if need be, she can maintain a serious attitude for as long as it's required (which is useful when comforting people or plotting against possible threats). There's nothing more she likes than to be helpful ... and to steal pants >> Bad puns and making boys blush is a hobby she's working on perfecting. Short Bio: After the big H4XX0r incident, Mimmi has been volunteering to help out where she can. Whether it be waitressing in the Lounge (where she also serves her special buns) or running errands for friends and newcomers. But when inspiration strikes she quickly makes her way to the beach, because that's where her mind works best. Sometimes that's meant that whatever she's doing at the time it hits her is cut abruptly short, causing a bit of confusion for those not familiar with her. While residing in the Prefecture, Mimmi do stray away to the Arena more often than not, to publish some of her work in the Anthology and read stories/encourage other writers there. She also loves to sneak into the Adventure Arena and watch her favourite RPG's unfold. ============== ?The Not-so Innocent One? ? Methuselah Place of Residence: The Arena Favourite Hangout: The Anthology. Favoured Weapon: *refer to appearance* A large sword that she uses to channel her magic powers through. The she can also wield it as a weapon by itself, the full force of her swing is quite incredible, especially if Methuselah is angry. Motto/Saying: ?You know that?s really mean.? (Used on friends or foe, doesn?t really matter) "Damn it, I'm a girl!" Skill(s): Methuselah has the uncanny ability to cheer most people up, always ready with some kind comment. She?s also blessed with the powers of violent description, especially when it comes to things like murder scenes. When seeing that someone is down, Methuselah will readily give out the most affectionate hugs that she can, this tends to put both foes and allies in a profound state of confusion. Appearance: Click here Personality: A generally reserved and kind member, Methuselah is always ready with a comment on something she feels interested in. She is eager to learn new things and look up to many members who she feels are excellent writers. She doesn?t like to see her friends feeling bad and will always do her best to make them feel better using whatever means possible. She is ready and willing to give advice if someone needs it and is a wonderful listener; even if she isn?t able to help she will offer a shoulder to cry on if need be. When someone insults someone she feels close to she tends to snap and gets rather defensive, sticking up for them. When faced with a n00b she is prone to violent mood swings, lashing out at the nearest below par member. Short Bio: Since Methuselah arrived she has been slowly socialising with members who she always looked up to, including the likes of Jokopoko, Kane and Alan. She used to be very active and would do her best to involve herself in many different discussions, earning herself a certain level of respect. Now she tends to stick to The Arena, her current area of Residence. She writes most of the time and is just happy with seeing what her friends think of her stories and poetry. Methuselah may be a very cool and calm person but when it comes to n00bs, she loses it completely. There has been the odd occasion where she has bopped one with her staff and has come off with a warning from James. Even if she never poses as a violent or dangerous member and keeps her quality as high as she possibly can, that one small streak of violence can be a tad troublesome. She now tends to visit JP studious just to see if she can help out with anything, knowing that Jokopoko is very busy most of the time and has a hard time keeping his patience under wraps. Even if she doesn?t role-play much any more, Methuselah is always willing to help out if anyone needs assistance. She practices her magic alone at home or just jokes around with other members, she?s never experienced true SPAM or a true battle but with the danger of this n00b army approaching, she will fight to the death for the home she loves. ============== ?The Serious One? ? Corey Place of Residence: The Arena Favourite Hangout: The Adventure Arena Favoured Weapon: A nice little knife; About eight inches in length with a five inch handle. Laser sharpened. The blade is black steel and the handle polished ceder. Motto/Saying: ?Everything?s in its place when everything is anywhere?. Skill(s): Good grammar and RPGs that never pan out as well as he wishes they would. Appearance: [Coming soon]. Personality: Usually Corey is a pretty easy going guy. He has an open mind and it's very hard to offend or piss him off. He has a very active imagination and accordingly will never take the most obious course of action. When confronted with a trying situation, Corey usually takes a little time to think by wasting time or, in the case of an RPG, running away from the enemy. It's very easy to make friends with him, and very hard to lose him as a friend. Short Bio: "I got sucked into my computer one night while I was surfing a lovely proboards site. A wondow popped open with OtakuBoards open in it, and suddenly I was laying right in front of a gigantic metal door. I stood up, a little disoriented, and found a black knife hanging at my side. The air had the slight smell of new plastic and as I watched, several other people appeared too. I immediately figured that I had fallen asleep in front of my computer again. I walked through the metal doors and up to the counter where none other than Radaghast was set in front of a computer screen, looking a little dazed. Corey - "Alex?" He looked at me, wearing his super cool aviator sunglasses. Alex - "Corey?!" We exchanged greetings and then he told me that apparently he was on duty as one of the Adventure Arenas 'secretaries'. He asked if I was currently signed up for anything. At the time I had been working on an RPG I wanted to put up in the recruitment thread, so I said no. He gave me directions to the Recruitment center, and I left. Since then, I've been actively participation in RPGS, playing in them and creating my own. I'd like to be a bit more active in the other regions of the Island, but I specifically got a room in one of the taverns in one of the more ongoing RPGS. It takes up a lot of my time, man!? ============== ?The Cute One? ? vicky Place of Residence: The Arena. Favourite Hangout: Adventure Arena. Favoured Weapon: Rabbit size Bat?leth. Motto/Saying: ?Sorry, I?m allergic to ********? or ?I am NOT cute!? Skill(s): Being a bunny rabbit of sorts, Vicky isn?t just a little rabbit who can jump really high. For a long time she took the appearance of Robin and for that long time she adopted her (girl robin) fighter techniques. She can kick *** rabbit style, from high kicks to scratching. As a bunny she has one thing a bunny shouldn?t have: sharp claws. Claws bigger than cats and not meant to be on rabbit paws, but still claws. Vicky has no magical powers, no special abilities or whatnot, just kick *** rabbit fighting moves. Remember, if you say that she?s cute, you?ll find yourself back home with a few bruises and some deep scratches. Vicky doesn?t have many qualities for the Internet, though writing and RPGing may be a minor one, she?s mainly for everything else in the real world. Appearance: Click here Personality: A little moody at times, happy at times and fun loving. This rabbit likes to have fun, likes to RPG and is always in a good mood when having fun. She tries to be funny sometimes, but hardly gets far. Most the time she?ll stay quite and only make a joke when the situation isn?t bad, though she?s hardly around a lot of people, normally she?s only seen around one or two of her friends to tell a joke. When it comes to speaking she?s all talk, though she?s not sure if she?s right or wrong. Speaking causally is alright, making smart *** comments at n00bs and stuff is perfectly fine, but speaking beyond that, like commenting on work or telling a large group of people something she?s not so good. Vicky hates it when people say that she?s cute as a rabbit. Her reply is always a scratch, bite or a kick in the nose, no matter what mood she?s in. Not only does she hate this but she also hates to be underestimated, for being and kid and for just be? well, herself. She?d want to prove to anyone who thinks she can?t cut it that she can, whether it being a cool RPG or a life-threatening stunt. Short Bio: A Newbie when she started and then an okay member after awhile. She had gotten used to OB like the back of her hand, even so she wasn?t prepared for the freak accident that got everyone dragged into a virtual community. It took awhile for Vicky to get used to everything, but in time she did. Things didn?t change much for her, either. She hung around the Arena parts, she made RPG?s and basically did nothing more. Often she would talk to a few of her friends and have a laugh with them, or make a fool of herself, it was all the same. During her first few months in the virtual community she decided to change her avatar to a girl-Robin style she had found in a google search. When taking this new appearance Vicky began to fight in a new way: The kick *** ROBIN style! The kid ran around the Adventure Square, before deciding to live there of course. She kicked off with a few new RPG?s, most of them being useless, except for one or two. Vicky was none for popping into threads, forums and whatnot for a good read, but never posting. She did this in other people?s RPG?s, as well, just for a good read. In the Anthology she read many stories, never commented, and felt guilty about it. She was occasionally seen hanging around in Tokyo 3, quietly by herself, then with a few RPG friends back in the Arena. Though she did have many friends she liked to chat to through PM?s there was always the long period when none of them were alone. For sometime Vicky gave RPGing a break. She was around and about OtakuBoards, losing interest in most things, not really doing anything, and whatnot. When the spamming n00bs came along causing the fights to wreck everything Vicky felt like it was the excitement and entertainment she had been waiting for in along time. When she decided to get close to the fighting she soon found out that running from huge exploding spammers and buildings was harder when your cape got in the way. Surviving the attacks was pretty much luck for her. After that she knew that the Robin kick *** style was no longer needed, so she changed to a bunny. Bunny Raven from Teen Titans, to be more precise. However, what she didn?t know was how annoying it was to be called cute. Now the girl spends her time hanging around the Arena parts, mostly the Square, looking into the things and staying up all night in the Underground if she wants. Usually losing his temper with them he needs someone to calm him down. He is prone to forgetting what he was saying, but that?s because he?s in the middle of several conversations at once. Reise? temper isn?t normally released though, it?s usually kept under wraps by friends, or perhaps a near by wall. But his interest in Heavy Metal has grown to the extent that he random starts singing, which is usually recorded and broadcast over Otaku Island by the OtakuBot. Just to teach him a lesson for making the OB Anthology a little louder. Short Bio: After the whole incident that happened that little while ago. Reise wandered the depths of OB, looking for a home, he didn?t know what he was wanting in that area of time. He had got more into gaming so he thought about the Hardwired section of OB Island. But before he got to his destination he thought better, and had walk to M.M.TV. For his love of Music was too much to keep him from the discussions there. After starting a few discussions which fell after a few replies he moved his way back to his original home, oh so long ago. The Arena. After a quick swoosh through the tubes he found himself at the Arena. The sight was amazing, and Reise was in awe. He walked through the battles commencing, and the RP?s being played till he found his new home in the OB Anthology. Where his love of books took him to new levels, and to disastrous stories that failed. It greatly amuses her to be mistakenly referred to as male. She boasts that she's the Mecha Battlefield's current champion, yet has never actually been seen fighting. Skill(s): Gavin's trademark razor-sharp wit and guile as well as an exceptional command of the English language are his most obvious skills. Add to this his unending drive and motivation to achieve his goals, as well as a tacticians mind for strategy and you've got one very useful ally or dangerous enemy. Appearance: Click here A little more cleaned up that this, but essentially this is what Gavin looks like. Well that and give him some very prestigious looking Armani suits. Personality: Gavin's personality has never changed since he joined OB, energetic, kind and always willing to give people a leg up in the world, and that same persona has accompanied him to Otaku Island. He has been described by many as Otaku Island's stereotypical "nice-guy", and if he was honest Gavin would probably laugh and say it was true, however that is not to saw that he's a one dimensional person. His work in the Arena, as well as running Kanetic Works has given him a drive and discipline required to compete with the other companies on the market, although compete may be too strong a word. This drive can sometimes lead him to overwork, become fatigued and snappy at people but most know that he has a good heart. As a Otaku Gavin is as complex as some of his best written stories. Short Bio: Since Gavin ended up on Otaku Island his life has been a bit hectic, first there was the whole H4XX0r attack, in which Gavin and several other leading role-players led the civilian defence of the Arena. Then after H4XX0r was defeated there was the whole waiting until V2 was completed so he could find some permanent living quarters, and after moving into his RPG Boulevard mansion he became inundated with requests to join certain RPGs and take part in certain Otaku Movies that were being produced. Between all that and his own work which he intended to do Gavin was pretty much swamped and exhausted, however as tired and overworked as he was Gavin wouldn't have had it any other way, well maybe with a little less work, but fame was the game. Taking some advice from Corey Gavin decided to take a trip with his wife Raiha to one of the Arena more secluded mountain retreats, where along with resting they could celebrate their 9 month wedding anniversary and just relax and get away from the stresses of being one of Otaku Island's hottest celebrity couples. Getting back from his vacation Gavin got straight back into work, helping to write, direct and star in the third of Corey's "Black Horizon" RPGs, as well as this he also began work in secret on several of his own projects for the Arena [which he still hasn't finished yet]. However underneath all the glitz and glamour that came with being Otaku Island's sexiest man Gavin was more interesting in tying to improve things for the younger generation, the included sponsoring and training several young role-players who caught Gavin's eye. As well as this Gavin set up his own independent production company Kanetic Works, which focused on smaller, more original work concepts. In doing so Gavin retired a bit from the spotlight, preferring to manage and direct much of Kanetic work. As such he became known as the George Lucas of Otaku Island, a title which he very much enjoys. Gavin is also a bit of a political activist in his spare time, [what little of it there is] he approached James with the idea of holding elections for the Moderator positions on OB, but taking James' advice he realised that perhaps for the time being Otaku Island was OK as it was. Between working Gavin lives in his RPG Boulevard home with his wife Grace and a couple of virtual pets, designed by his sister Annie. ============== "The Descriptive One" ? Well, all that, and her cool moderator super powers. Motto/Saying: Le sigh. Skill(s): Thoroughly experienced in the ways of the RPG, Arcadia has been role playing for a very long time, on the boards and in other places all over the web. She is known to be a very talented writer and very creative, though prone to moments of randomness. Above and beyond that, however, she is also a Team Leader on the boards and wields a considerable amount of influence over the Arena ? she does kind of run it, after all. Patient, approachable, and extremely silly, Arcadia can be serious when she needs to be but prefers smiles and laughter to kicking *** and taking names (although she does the latter very well if need be). Appearance: Click here Personality: Arcadia, though one of the older members on the boards, is usually very youthful and energetic. She likes to be silly and have fun, and enjoys goofing off with friends. Witty and clever and oh so modest, she also enjoys a good laugh. Her humour tends to fall a little on the wry side, but she has equal love for puns of all kinds. However, she is also known to be something of a tease at times and enjoys throwing around innuendo. Contrary to popular belief, she does not accept sexual favours from members. She does, however, have the ability to be rather nasty. It doesn?t happen often, but when she?s in psycho-evil mode it?s generally a wise idea to stay out of her way. All in all, Arcadia is a very easy-going, good-natured individual who prefers to look on the bright side of life. Short Bio: Since she arrived on the island with the thousands of other members, Arcadia has steadily been working on making the Arena (and the island as a whole) a very positive and welcome living environment. She has quite a few responsibilities as a Team Leader, but she?s never too busy to stop and share a few ideas, a quick role-play or Anthology reading, and maybe some delicious foodage with various members. She?s gained a reputation as being very approachable and is often sought when members need advice about their RPGs or their life on the island in general. Though she has a very large office in the Team Hanzo Headquarters, she?s often on the go all over the Arena. Generally her office isn?t exactly the most organized place, either, and some of her neater co-workers are known to come in and go neat-freak on the place (mostly while she?s out). Though she does wander to other parts of the island, she spends most of her time in the Arena and all of it?s various areas. When she?s not on-the-go, checking on said areas, she?s either working at her personal RPG studio (Arcadia Experience, Inc., apparently, lol) or is hiding in her office and/or room, catching up on some much needed sleep. There?s always the chance that she?ll wander down the street in some ridiculous mardi gras-like costume or plot with friends to make very large, silly parties consisting of delicious buns and lots of confetti. It?s just her way of ?keeping it real,? yo. ============== "The Pirate" ? His main powers include the ability to destroy the psyche of another through rhetoric. He also has the both the sexy of doctor and the sexy of pirate, a skill he often uses against the fair gender. If you?ve earned his respect, that is. He?s pretty careful with the people he spends his time with, and prefers to develop relationships with those quality citizens of OtakuBoards. To all other imbeciles, or fools, he may as well be the closest they come to seeing the devil for Drix is unmercifully unforgiving who he considers idiots unworthy of anybody?s respect, much less his own. He takes careful pleasure in ?burninating? what scrap of dignity they may have before delivering the killing blow. He is not, however, so unforgiving that he doesn?t allow for redemption. Short Bio: Drix is a former moderator of the Otaku Lounge, wielding his mod-rod with careful grace. He left the boards unannounced for personal reasons before returning at long last as a typical member, enjoying his retirement from the duties of Moderator. He wasted no time in rebuilding the relationships severed from his brief stint, and gathering his influence once more to establish himself in a position of mutual respect with the ones he cared for, rather than one of arbitrary respect. He learned much over his exile, and decided to share some of his gifts with a specific few in hopes that they grow themselves, and that he can grow from his newfound friendships. His stomping grounds now include the Lounge, which he frequents if only to listen to the varied conversations that go about and step in when he must ?inject some common sense?. It is around this time that he began to venture to the Arena more often, attempting to expand his awareness of the Boards and increase his skills with the careful guidance of his friends. It was here that he first noticed the taint of H4XX0R. It was at this moment, the rush of adrenaline accompanying a ?burnination? would be felt once more. Drix had finally come into his own, he had finally returned. ============== And that?s all of us, its open season everyone...go nuts and have fun.
  6. I wrote this a while ago but the site I sent it to never posted so I figure I can post here and see what people think to it and perhaps write more, heh. The story revolves around Harry's dad (James Potter) and his friends at Hogwarts school during their time there, hence the title "The Marauders". Enjoy. ========== ?Book One? ? Adventures Beginning * Chapter One Speculation Waking slowly from his long-nights sleep James settled himself for a while by looking out of his room window to the countryside. After a few moments he yawned widely and stretched himself before slumping back to a waking-sleep state and messing up his hair with vigour. It had been his eleventh birthday several days ago so he, along with his mother and father, had been awaiting his letter from Hogwarts accepting him into the school. Privately he thought he was better than school but he had surmised to humour his parents and teachers at least for the first year to see what he thought of the place. Rubbing his eyes he clambered out of his bed proceeded to dress himself in his dressing gown and slippers before taking himself down stairs to breakfast. Looking lazily into the mirror it said to him: ?Perk up, young sir. ?Tis a fine morrow this day?, yawning a little again he simply waved a hand toward the mirror before shuffling out, personally he wished his parents would get rid of the mirror for it had been in the family for several generations and was getting old. Walking into the kitchen with tousled hair and puffy eyes he saw the frying pan working of its own accord while his mother sat reading the morning Prophet ?Morning, dear? Mrs. Potter said, though not looking up from the Daily Prophet that was laid out on the table before her. ?Your father?s already left for the Ministry and I have to go myself soon?. James merely nodded to show he had heard and understood her, He gave her a kiss on the cheek and walked over to the frying pan and took out two scrambled eggs and a few pieces of toast. He then settled himself by his mother and looked at the cover of the Prophet. FRESH ATTACKS BY YOU-KNOW-WHO BARTIMUS CROUCH PLEADS FOR HARSHER MEASURES It showed a picture of Mr. Crouch, head of Magical Law Enforcement, talking adamantly at the Minister for Magic who seemed to be ignoring him. ?So they h ? ha ? haven?t been able to get more Death Eaters yet?? James asked through a large yawn. She shook her head grimly, ?The minister still won?t see eye-to-eye with Barty Crouch on the matter, and Crouch has Dumbledore to contend with if he wants these harsher measures. Your father will be hard pressed over the next few days but we should be alright here, so don?t worry.? Taking his time over his food James wondered about the Death Eaters and the whole Voldemort affair and thought if it was actually worth going to school in a time of such turmoil. Just as he was thinking this his thought was answered in the form of a Screech Owl flying through the window with a letter bound to its leg. Mrs. Potter looked up as the owl landed in front of James and put out its leg expectantly waiting for him to take the letter. James removed it quickly from the owl and watched it sore out of the window and into the distance. Mrs. Potter looked at the letter and then to James, ?Who?s the letter from, James? Is it Fabian?? She asked expectantly, he turned the letter onto its back and saw the Hogwarts crest in wax on the seal, ?No?.it?s from Hogwarts? He said offhandedly as he opened the letter and read: HOGWARTS SCHOOL OF WITCHCRAFT AND WIZARDY Headmaster: Albus Dumbledore (Order of Merlin, First Class, Grand Sorc., Chf. Warlock, Supreme Mugwump, International Confed. of Wizards) Dear Mr. Potter, We are pleased to inform you that you have a place at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Please find enclosed all necessary books and equipment. Term begins on 1 September. We await your return owl no later than 31 July. I half thought they had forgotten about you, congratulations James?. She hugged him in a way that only a mother could which left him feeling very content with himself and he couldn?t help grinning. ?Why make the fuss, mum? You knew I was going to get in anyway? James said trying to shrug off the approval. She looked at him sceptically ?Ah yes, well then I suppose you don?t want me to buy you anything like a broom or an owl then?? She said in a similarly sceptical tone. James?s eyes widened with shock. ?Wha ? What?? He stuttered but he recovered quickly, ?Well it you put it like that I suppose it IS a big deal about Hogwarts? He said putting on his most charming smile. Mrs. Potter laughed and ruffled his hair up and looked into his brown eyes with a motherly love. ?Alright then, what would you like then?? ?Well?, he said in mock thought, ?I don?t think an owl would go a miss but I?d think about Brooms for next year? He was grinning from ear to ear. ?Fair enough, we can get you one from Eeylops when we go to Diagon Alley for your school things? ?That?ll be great, thanks mum? James gave her a huge hug, She glanced down at her watch and let out a small gasp. ?Oh my, look at the time. I?d better get to the office. Have fun today James with Fabian and Gideon while you?re with the Prewetts and I?ll see you later? She ruffled his hair again before kissing him on the cheek. Walking over to the fireplace she took a pinch of Floo-Powder and stepped into the emerald flames. ?Ministry of Magic!? She shouted, and one whooshing sound later she had vanished from the fire and it was once again red and crackling merrily. James took his gaze from the fireplace and turned back to the table but saw that the plates and paper had already been cleared away and the frying pan had, too, disappeared. He let out an exasperated sign. ?Plucky, I swear, you may be the most meticulous house-elf but sometimes I wonder about you?. Shaking his head James walked out of the kitchen back to his room to get dressed before travelling to the Prewetts with the Floo-Powder. Arriving back in his room he was greeted by the mirror once more. ?Dress your self, Master James. The day is almost half gone and you have squandered it most foolishly? James cast the mirror a dark sideways glance. ?Just shut up and let me get dressed will you? He snapped. * One Floo-Journey and a few hours later James was enjoying himself at the Prewett house while his parents were out at work. He preferred the Prewetts house more than his own at Godrics Hollow for several reasons. Firstly was that it was much bigger than his own with four floors and more secret passages than he cared to count, there were more magical objects as well because the Prewetts, unlike the Potters, didn?t live close to Muggles and so didn?t need to cover up the fact that they were, in fact, a magical family and not normal at all. He and the Prewett twins, Fabian and Gideon, had been keeping themselves busy by discussing all manner of things Quidditch related. From the fantastic world cup final of 1969 between Japan and Germany to the news of the new Nimbus 1500 model set for release and imagining themselves playing for their house-team in the second year (all these fantasises resting on the Gryffindor team of course). ?Wouldn?t that be great? Fabian sighed happily, ?If we all got on the team next year?.Nimbus 1500?s all around I?d say? Flipping over onto his stomach Fabian opened the latest issue of ?Which Broomstick?? and gazed dreamily at the pictures of the Nimbus 1500. ?I wouldn?t get your hopes up, Fabian. Mum and Dad wouldn?t trust you with a broomstick after what you did to Dads Cleansweep? Chuckled Gideon as he smiled at the memory. ?Hey, they got it out of the chimney eventually? Fabian retorted defensively, ?What d?you think, James? Would we get on the house team? He asked, still gazing adamantly at the Nimbus. James shrugged. ?I dunno, I suppose we could try out and you have to say that they?d be foolish not to let us in? He said with confidence in his voice. There was a moment of silence as each of the three boys had delusions of grandeur on the Quidditch pitch until Gideon broke the lull in the conversation. ?Hey, speaking of Hogwarts. What other families are sending kids that you know of?? He asked, looking hopefully at James. James?s mother worked for the Improper Use of Magic Office and so had a basic knowledge of all the young wizards and witches around the country. ?Erm?.well I?ve heard her talked about the Pettigrews, apparently they have a son who?s going? As he went he ticked off the names on his fingers, ?The Bones?, the McKinnons?..that?s all I can remember, no wait, hang on? His face suddenly went dark as he remembered two more names, though he?d rather not have. ?Well, go on then? Fabian said in a curious tone. James signed slightly. ?The Malfoys and Blacks each have a son going up, I think the Malfoys son is called Lucius and the Blacks son is Sirius but it doesn?t matter, we all know what they?ll be like?. Both the Prewetts nodded in agreement with dark looks similar to James?s on their faces. ?Honestly, I don?t even know why they bother sorting that lot, it?s obvious that they?re going in to Slytherin, don?t waste our time just stuff them in quick as you can? Gideon commented darkly, reflecting the thoughts of the other two boys in the room. After that the three didn?t feel like talking about Hogwarts much with the thought of being in the same building as Malfoys and Blacks so the passed the time playing Gobstones and trading the Chocolate Frog cards. James?s thoughts however still dwelled on Hogwarts, the houses in particular. What would his parents and friends think if he got sorted into Slytherin with the rest of the scum who called themselves wizards? He?d be no better than a Black. Hufflepuff wouldn?t be bad but not much better. Later he mentally scalded himself for thing about that, both his parents had been in Gryffindor so it was an almost certain thing he would be as well, and add the fact that he was a decent person it was almost definite that he wouldn?t get into Slytherin. He was knocked suddenly from his semi-aware state when one of Gideon?s Gobstones shot him with a particularly strong blast of stink spray after he?d lost a point. A few games later Mrs. Prewett called them all down for dinner. * The next couple of weeks passed by without much incident at the Potter house while James waited for September 1st to come. The only thing that was of major not was the trip to Diagon Alley for James?s school things; his parents had brought him a handsome looking Eagle owl which he named Artemis. The owls first task had been to deliver the return message to Hogwarts saying that James was, indeed, going to the school. His wand, which had looked forward to buying the most turned out to be Mahogany, Eleven Inches with a Dragon Heart-String core. The shop owner, Mr. Ollivander, had commented that it was a strong wand for someone so young and that he should meet with great success during his Transfiguration lessons while he had that wand. With all the turmoil in the outside world and at the Ministry James hadn?t had much time to speak with his parents about school life at Hogwarts. They would leave early in the morning before he was really awake and arrive home quite late at the time when James was usually in the same state as when they had left in the morning. The only real company he could rely on in the house was Plucky but she didn?t seem to be around that much either, the sign of a good house-elf. So he ended up spending the last few weeks of the summer at the Prewetts house wondering, together with Fabian and Gideon, what school life would be like when the finally arrived at Hogwarts. The biggest shock James got was on the day before he was leaving for Hogwarts, he had come down stairs to find both of his parents waiting at the table with expectant looks on their faces. Before James could vocalise his surprise his father spoke: ?Before you say anything James, listen. Your mother and I both know we?ve been awfully absent these past few weeks and so we decided that we?d have the day away from the Ministry and we?ll stay at the Leaky Cauldron tonight and take you to the train tomorrow, how does that sound son?? His father said, beaming at him, as was his mother. Still unable to vocalise his glee he simply rushed up to them and gave them both large hugs and was finally able to say thank you before tearing upstairs to get dressed and pack his things. ?Well mirror? James was saying, ?Looks like you?ll have to do without me till Christmas at least, won?t be lonely will you??. ?Fear not, sir? It said in its usual dramatic flare, ?I shall await your return with baited breath?so to speak. Do not worry yourself on my account? And it did something James didn?t know it could do, bending its frame it gave him an unmistakeable bow. Taken slightly aback at this show of faith from what he had always considered a nuisance James was unsure how to react. ?Well?.Erm?.thanks mirror (Not knowing it my any other name) I?m sure mornings won?t be the same without you and all?..so I?ll see you at Christmas I guess?. After this it was a hurried affair to pack and James was take so long his mother had to come in and with a wave of her wand all of his school items and clothes flew in, neatly mind, to the suitcases and they followed suit by snapping shut and marching themselves smartly down stairs and landed with a thud before the fireplace. ?Ready to go then, James?? Mr. Potter asked with a smile on his face. James nodded and watched as his father threw the Floo-Powder into the fireplace which at once turned emerald green, placing the suitcases in carefully Mr. Potter leaned into the fire and shouted clearly: ?The Leaky Cauldron? and with a ?whoosh? they had vanished from the fire place and the family followed suit with James following his father and his mother bringing up the rear and the fire returned to normal and anyone peering in would see nothing out of the ordinary, just a simple Muggle Cottage. * The day at the Leaky Cauldron was one of the best days of the holiday so far from James?s memory. He could see many Hogwarts students, first years and up, bustling around Diagon Alley buying some last minute things before the train journey the following day. While he?d been in side Quality Quidditch Supplies with the Prewett twins he watched two families walk by and, realising who they were, nudged Fabian and Gideon in the ribs and pointed at them, they were obviously the Malfoys and Blacks. ?Keep quiet, idiot? Gideon hissed at him, ?We don?t want them to curse us or anything? ?Don?t be daft, they wouldn?t do that in broad daylight?.would they?? Fabian asked, with a definite note of panic in his voice. ?Nah, I don?t think so. Say, that Lucius and Sirius sure don?t look like they?re of the same mould do they?? James commented as he gave the two boys a quick look over. He was right in more than one way. Lucius Malfoy, with silver blond hair to his shoulders, was walking upright and proudly by his father?s side with an unmistakable swagger and superior air about him, James thought he was insufferable before even knowing him. Sirius however seemed to be a little more sullen and recluse because he was looking more at the ground than anything and his mother, who seemed highly formidable, was barely giving him notice. If James hadn?t known of the reputation his family had, he would almost feel sorry for Sirius Black. After forcibly yanking Fabian away from the proto-type Nimbus 1500 the three boys set off back to the Leaky Cauldron. All the way back Fabian was a little on edge for the thought of the Malfoys and Blacks suddenly appearing and cursing him had gotten to him just a little to much, the entire experience was far from worrying for James and Gideon, more along the lines of hysterical. Ten or fifteen minutes later they found themselves back in the Leaky Cauldron and saw that Misters Potter and Prewett were deep in conversation but stopped abruptly as the boys approached. ?My, my, what on earth is so funny?? Mr. Prewett said, noting the grins on James?s and Gideon?s faces. ?Oh, nothing? Gideon replied in an offhand, vaguely airy, tone of voice while trying not to catch James?s eye. Taking the conversation out of dangerous territory James turned to his father and asked: ?Where?re Mum and Mrs. Prewett, Dad? ?. ?Oh, they?re around somewhere, I expect you?d find them in Flourish and Blotts looking for the new magical cook books or something? Mr. Potter laughed ever so slightly at his little joke, as did Mr. Prewett, and the boys exchanged quizzical looks with each other before settling themselves at the table with their fathers. The conversation revolved around Hogwarts for the most part but James father and Mr. Prewett did eventually get back to discussing the matters regarding Lord Voldemort. Mr. Prewett was an Auror and Mr. Potter was the Deputy-Head of Magical Law Enforcement under Mr. Crouch. Both of them believed as he believed about the harsher measures but were unable to talk as openly with the boys sitting listening with rapt attention. The rest of the day was whiled away with window shopping in Diagon Alley and several attempts to get down Knockturn Alley which were meet with stern disapproval from both sets of parents while the boys tried to worm themselves out of trouble. Dinner at the Leaky Cauldron was one of high spirits and a happy atmosphere as the families all conversed about Hogwarts, the parents on their found memories of the place, close calls with the caretaker and such, while the boys were content to dream about what could, and would, be when they were calling the castle home. James finally lay his head to rest and was grateful for his pillow as he floated into a deep, satisfying sleep and dreamt of Quidditch and Gryffindor house.
  7. OtakuBoards: Spam Wars Episode XXIV: How to cope...with 1mp3ri@l n00bs ?It is a time of civil unrest in Teh G@l@ct1c 3mp1re. The R.E.B.E.L. Alliance has stuck many targets within Teh 3mp1re and one of their recent attacks allowed them access to plans for Teh 3mp1res spammiest weapon yet, the dreaded DEATH SPAMMER! Custodian to the stolen plans the vaguely nerdy Princess Vicky Organic is travelling to her home planet of Balderdash with plans to turn the plans of the planned DEATH SPAMMER against Teh G@l@ct1c 3mp1re which is exactly as the R.E.B.E.L. Alliance has planned, so everything is going according to plan. Except that the dreaded Darth Otaku has got wind of all this and is following the electronic bread crumbs that lead all the way to Vicky Organic, which will spell doom for the Princess. Unbeknownst to the Princess but beknownst to us the insidious Darth Otaku is following the Princess in a 1mp3ri@l Spam Deliverer and is getting a little close for comfort. The Princess will have to cope with the 1mp3ri@l n00bs in the R.E.B.E.L. Alliance is to survive...? ~*~ The R.E.B.E.L. Spoiler-Tag Runner rocked from side to side as another blast of Spam-Laser smashed into the hull of the already fragile ship. The huge 1mp3ri@l Spam Deliverer was beating the poor little ship for all it was worth before the Spamtroopers could board the ship and proceed to spam the heck out of the R.E.B.E.L. Bloopers. Within the small defenceless rather cute looking ship the somewhat nerdy Princess Organic was desperately looking for a place to hide the DEATH SPAMMER plans while the crew took the appropriate measures for dealing with the 1mp3ri@l n00bs before they could get on board. Well, not all of the crew was... S-YK3: Did you hear that? Those idiots have shut down the main index; they?re just rolling out the welcome mat for those n00bs aren?t they. 5H-1n: w00t-w00t-w00t, ;_;. S-YK3: Bah, don?t you give me that pig Latin. It was you who thought it was a good idea to sign up for the alliance in the first place, so it?s entirely your fault. 5H-1n: Beep-w00t-dweeb, >__>;;. And with that advice the two Droids somehow managed to run across the hall-way without getting a single spelling mistake much to the amazement of both sides. As the Droids got out of the crossfire more and more Spamtroopers were pouring through the hole, laughing like idiots if one of them fell on his bum and so on. Slowly but surely the Spamtroopers were gaining ground as more and more of the R.E.B.E.L. Bloopers lost the will to talk properly and threw down their Grammar-Guns. Blooper #1: Argh! H3lp m3...c@nt t@1k correctly! N0000! Blooper #2: Leave him! He?s to far gone to help. Let?s get out of here! The R.E.B.E.L. forces turned and fled from the oncoming horde of Spamtroopers and said troopers ran after them firing wildly, like children in a candy store. Now taking a quick brake from the action we return to the formidable Droid duo of S-YK3 and 5H-1n as they hide like the cowards they are from the grammatically incorrect onslaught of the Spamtroopers. S-YK3: 5H-1n where are you? The tall Chrome protocol Droid looked around a very dark and plot-developing tunnel as he searched for his vertically and verbally challenged counter part. For a while all seemed very foggy but eventually he made out the form of a vaguely nerdy Princess inserting something into 5H-1ns body before she quickly stole away in to the shadows. S-YK3: Ah, there you are. What were you doing, trying to get another number? 5H-1n: Tweet-tweet-nah, ^_~. S-YK3: I don?t care what you?ve been told. Short Droids are NOT more virile! Now let?s get out of here before those Spamtroopers find us. 5H-1n: Whoop-whoop-diddle-dum, @_@. S-YK3: Mission? What mission? Stop talking nonsense and open up this escape pod! 5H-1n: w00t, ^___^. 5H-1n opened up his Swiss-army knife hatch and flipped open the ?Escape Pod Master? following on he inserted the afore mentioned tool into the correct spot. After a few moments of whirls and blips the pod opened up allowing the Droids to get in and escape the dreaded G@l@ct1c 3mp1re. Now with this short interlude over we can return to the action. All was hush in the air lock corridor with the fallen troops lined along the wall, the silence was suddenly broken when a dark, evil-sounding machine assisted breathing apparatus could be heard approaching from the air-lock where, for some reason, all the lights had been turned out. Suddenly in the void appeared the scary form of The Dark Lord of Teh Shifty, Darth Otaku. Taking in another deep breath the Shifty Lord spoke to the Spamtroopers with a level of spelling and compound plurals that chilled them to the core. Darth Otaku: Well done my minions. You shall be rewarded greatly for this, now take me to the Princess! But before that I?d like to deal with a disposable extra that?ll make me look cool, strong and clever all at once. Now go! Find me the Captain of this ship! Spamtroopers: Y35 51R! Like good little minions the Spamtroopers scurried off to find a suitable extra that didn?t have much plot development potential for Darth Otaku to squash and help him feel better about himself. As he advanced menacingly down the corridor the Dark Lord was approached by one of his higher ranking minions, Commander D?Zanth who had been with the Dark Lord long enough for him to forget his name every few hours. Cdr. D?Zanth: Lord Otaku! The DEATH SPAMMER plans are not in the main index, it is quite probable they were beamed to another ship. Darth Otaku: You mean it is quite ?possible?, Commander. You do not need to impress me with your vocabulary. Besides, if they had been beamed to another ship there would be more bread crumbs but the trail stops here! So this is where they are, now where is that disposable extra? As if on cue the Spamtroopers appeared all chanting in unison with the R.E.B.E.L. Captain who looked as though he should have gone before the ship left port. The unfortunate officer was thrown to the ground in front of Darth Otaku before he was hoisted into the air by some invisible cables to give the impression The Dark Lord of Teh Shifty was holding him above the grounds so his legs were flopping around like a fish on land. There followed a pause while Darth Otaku breathed in deeply as if he was sucking something more than the air out of the room, given this pause the R.E.B.E.L. Captain took the time to set his affairs in order before his untimely demise. Eventually Teh Shifty Lord spoke. Darth Otaku: We know you have the DEATH SPAMMER plans on board this ship. They were beamed to you by R.E.B.E.L. spies so tell me where they are! R.E.B.E.L. Captain: Erm, no. Darth Otaku: [-__-;;] What? R.E.B.E.L. Captain: I said no. Darth Otaku: Aww, go on. I promise I won?t tell anyone. R.E.B.E.L. Captain: Make me [:-p]. Darth Otaku: [>_
  8. -=============- OtakuBoard Island version.2 [OtakuBoards version.7] At the centre of the island is the Index Building where OtakuBot can co-ordinate all the Private Messages, Instant Messengers, Member Logins and all the other things that come his way. Index is like a large Doctors Waiting Room where prospective members come to wait while their membership is processed by OtakuBot. There is a rota for the ?Welcoming Committee? of current members who must meet & greet the new members as they arrive [Think jury duty but worse]. Index is connected to all the other buildings across the island with transport chutes [Futurama style] that send members rocketing all over the island. Out of all the buildings it resembles OtakuBoards the most with the prominent grey and blue colour scheme designed to look as welcoming as possible to all new members. Tokyo 3 is just a short chute ride from Index, located south-east of Index in a large valley. Its location is much like that of its name-sake and so is its appearance. A large Silver glare on the lush green landscape of OB Island, but the main residents of Tokyo 3 don?t get out much so they don?t see the problem with their homes appearance. A recent addition to Tokyo 3 is the Mecha Battle Field where those with Gundam, Evangelion and other Mecha Avatars can resize them and have a pitched battle while others watch in awe and amazement placing bets on the outcome.

The Anime Lounge is pretty much what it sounds, only bigger. There is a whole district of Tokyo 3 devoted to the watching and discussion of Anime, from Neon Genesis Evangelion to Beyblade. The watching areas are dominated by huge flat widescreen televisions which can fit a capacity of 950 Otaku at one time but even so conflicts do some times occur between die-hard fans of certain Anime so the Mods need to use their super spiffy Mod-Rods to break, or rather blast, the combatants apart. The discussion area is dominated by hundreds of super-soft chairs which members can park their arse in and put their feet up and enjoy the finer points of Anime such as who has the best hair and which Mech would rule supreme, hot chocolate and biscuits are all supplied and can be acquired through the member interface.
Manga Workshop is the place to be for the most diehard of Manga fans. Many went mad with desire when they first began drawing there characters because no sooner had they done this then the drawings were brought to life and began talking to their creators. Lady Katana herself had to create a new set of guidelines before the problem was sorted. The workshop also takes a whole district of Tokyo 3 but it is much more noticeable thanks to the mounds of balled up paper and paint blobs all over the buildings. There are several sub-forums with have been created to deal with the different art styles which people prefer as well as various break-rooms to people can get away from the pencils and mad-colour schemes before they go slightly mental.
The Anime Archives were kept as a reminder of days gone past. A time when Yu-Yu-Hakusho had its own forum and when newbies ran rampage all over the Digimon and Pokèmon message boards. Also the Anime Boards were the area most hit by the invasion of H4XX0r so there is an area devoted to the battle of the Mods with authentic replica model detailing the events leading up and during the war. Only a few members every month go into these old and squeaky halls, many are curious newbies wanting to what OtakuBoards was like before Version 7 and looking in wonderment at the threads that were allowed to survive into the archive stage where today similar ones would be eradicated before they reached four replies. Dust tends to accumulate but OtakuBot is usually on top of it. James and Adam have left strict orders that these halls should be kept as they were to serve as a reminded to member new and old never to let the likes of H4XX0r and the n00bs get in to the boards again.
We come to the end of our tour of Tokyo 3 with out final stop, Team Miyazaki Headquarters. Like all of the Team HQs team Miyazaki?s HQ towers of Tokyo 3 in the form of the Space Needle from Seattle. Some times members are allowed a VIP tour of the building but not very often seeing as it means the Mods have to get round to cleaning the HQ out. When you first enter the M-HQ the first thing you see is a large mural dedicated to all the Anime and Manga greats then you have a choice of either going via the walk of fame or taking the elevator up to the top. The walk of fame has the greatest Anime and Manga characters of all time in statue from standing in there signature stance. The main part of the tower where the Mods live and work is usually a mess. Empty ramen cups, food boxes and DVD cases are strew across the room in an attempt to be tidy. Each Mod has his or her own room in their towers but no one knows what they?re like on the inside. In the centre of each tower is a transmission and transport system so the Mods can stay in touch with each other using the towers ?Space Needle?.
Hardwired is the gaming capital of the island located to the north of Index where it doesn?t get so warm allowing the gamers to stay in-doors for longer periods of time without needing to get re-hydrated and miss a vital point in the game they?re playing or missing one of Shinmaru?s gaming seminars. In appearance Hardwired is a mish-mash of several gaming environments rolled into one, from the lush green of Hyrule to the desolate and urban Mech-Warrior. The city areas are similar but take cues from the less action based games so the members have places to go and relax while they aren?t playing there games.

Play It takes up the majority of the Hardwired environment and is mostly urban due to the nature of the game playing and gaming discussions or seminars. The core looks very similar to the landscape of Coruscant from the Star Wars movies and games. Every so often you might see a TIE-Fighter or Fight Jet screaming over the city while games indulge in their fantasies. Quite a large portion of the urban paradise is given over to the gaming centres and renting hubs. The reason the renting system was created was because James and Adam couldn?t get enough bandwidth for an unlimited supply of games so the gamers had to make a sacrifice and receive a limited supply of games for their use. Many members make their home in the coruscant area but many feel more at home in the discussion locations. If you were to take a tube to the discussion threads of Play It you would find specialised areas for certain games, for example the Zelda games thread is a full scale Hyrule Castle with can also be customised into Ganon?s Castle for events like Halloween and the Mario discussion area is the Mushroom kingdom and it goes on like this. Out of all the areas Play It normal has the highest concentration of members at one time which presents many congestion issues for members trying to get out or use the tube to reach another forum.
Beneath the thriving metropolis of Hardwired lies a highly secret place, PC/Mac. This is the place to be for all PC Gamers, tech-heads and web site designers. In the lower levels of the coruscant city of Play It are numerous passages into the secret world of the PC Gamers and only those with the password can get in. After a long trek through the tunnel system bathed in the neon-green glow you immerge in a pure white and grey underground hive with wall to wall computer systems, CDs, program boxes and many other things. PC/Mac is by far the most meticulously kept forum in the entire island with no dust as far as the eye can see. The underground forum is roughly 20 meters high and stretches as far as Hardwired but many believe that it spreads much further and is hidden beneath the entire island. The ground floor is for the game-heads who are always playing the multiplayer versions of their favourite games, from Command & Conquer to The Sims 2 and these lucky people are all Beta testers for the numerous game companies of the world. The second level is for the designers, all kinds of designing take place here from games to websites, only the lucky few ever get to release their creations to the member market of OB. On the highest level is the discussion area where the members meet to discuss the latest developments in the computer world. Many members spend their entire membership never entering the PC/Mac area and some refuse to accept its existence.
Like all the Mod HQs the Team Yokoi Headquarters looks identical to the Space Needle in Seattle. Due to Hardwired being a highly urban setting the HQ cannot tower over the area so instead an area in the center of the city 25 meters by 25 meters was cleared and the tower was placed in the middle and had a transport chute connected to it so people could get there easily. The interior is comparable to a game-players ?pad? in that there are pizza boxes where ever you look, half drunken cans of Coke and Pepsi. In the main area there are four flat screen televisions on each wall all hooked up to the game consoles of the day and a stack of games which can be changed when ever the user wishes. The Yokoi tower is slightly different in that members are allowed to come and go as they wish due to the Hardwired Mods lax attitude which many say is the fault of the games they play but the main reason the members come is to here Shinmaru?s game playing seminars. Each Mod has his or her own room in their towers but no one knows what they?re like on the inside. In the centre of each tower is a transmission and transport system so the Mods can stay in touch with each other using the towers ?Space Needle?.
The Prefecture is a group of towers that from above form a giant OB connoting OtakuBoards it?s self but within the tower formation is a large mall like structure called the OtakuMall which has a plethora of Cafés, Computer-Centres and social Clubs. Location wise the Prefecture is some distance away from Index to the south-west. The towers resemble the sky-scrapers from the cities of the Real World. Out of all the areas of the Island the Prefecture most resembles the real world, this choice was made because the main purpose of the Prefecture is for discussion of things regarding the Real World events and such so James and Co wanted a more ?traditional? look to the area, though some of the sky-scrapers are from noted Anime productions, films and other areas of the Media.

Community Events is located somewhere towards the back of the Mall area within the Prefecture. From the outside this place is very un-assuming and rarely draws attention unless there?s an event in progress but if you where to walk inside you would experience something similar to T.A.R.D.I.S [Dr. Who]. The entrance to Community Events is a large reception esque area where people who are there figure out where to vote for what and so on. The bowls are like a call centre where members take votes from other members during the events [Operators are randomly assigned]. The core of Community Events is much like Wall Street in that the walls are lined with statistic monitors and in the centre is a pillar with computers and televisions attached which bring in up-to-the-minute reports on current events while members stand around hoping for the best.
The Otaku Lounge is like a huge coffee shop that provides only the best service for all members of the boards. It is five stories high and, if need be, can accommodate all members at once for short amounts of time. Not only can you get coffee here but the latest E-Books for free should you become bored with the current conversations or just want to relax after a hard days posting. The main areas of the Lounge are the Coffee Corner, Readers Rest Stop, Conversation Station and Sleepers Space. Each area is fully catered for and can provide everything its patrons need. The lounge is usually the area to be for updates and news from the real world as it comes in, it should be noted that a new ?Log-on/Log-out? system has been made to allow people access to the real world should they need to leave the island. There is also a computer lounge for those who simply want to browse the Net but are far to relaxed and care free to face the stress of going into Hardwired.
Music, Movies and TV [Shortened to M.M.T.V.] is located to the east of the OtakuMall, this is because M.M.T.V. caters to such a large audience within OB it was decided that it should have its own building. In size it is very similar to the OtakuMall but inside it is radically different. The three separate areas each have their own entrance at the front of M.M.T.V. along with a large reception desk which has information on screenings, concerts or TV premiers that day. Music has the entrance to the left and upon entering the member is whisked to another entrance style room but this time the doors are labelled with the genre to which that room caters such as Rock or Hip Hop etc. If the member is there to attend a download concert or just to add to their Jukebox all they have to do is walk straight down the corridor and the double doors open up to reveal a large room that will differ depending on the event [Full of mp3 stations or a traditional concert room]. Movies is the middle entrance, once the members walks into Movies the view will be much like Music in that each door has the genre but underneath that is which film they are showing at that time as well as any special screenings that may be occurring. A select few members get invited to the monthly premier each month and that is located straight down the corridor but you can only gain entrance with a replica Wonka Ticket [James?s idea]. And finally TV is the entrance to the right and this is the least similar to the other two areas. The main difference is that there aren?t many separate rooms but several master rooms with many widescreen flat-panel televisions located around the room along with refreshment machines and the purpose is not to cater to each genre but just allow general viewing but there is a side room for reality TV shows, such was the demand to keep it away from ?real? TV.
Art Studio is another area of the Prefecture which isn?t incorporated into the OtakuMall, mainly for the reason that the Mall is enough trouble to clean by itself without painters adding to the mess. Art Studio is really a larger than life version or one of its name sakes but being in the net allows the designers to go a little overboard with what the artists can do in the Studio. One notable bonus is the HTML art rooms that were made for those who prefer impressionist Art, the member can just enter the room and go mad with the HTML coding in this perfectly white room that seems to go on forever. Some member have to be forcibly removed to get them out before going mad with the colours but the most impressive art pieces were saved to the Boards and people can use them as a skin should they choose to. As well as being a Studio the forum also has a display area when members can upload there works into frames and other members not gifted with the skill of drawing. There is also discussion rooms located throughout the studio so artists can take a break from drawing and relax or talk to their fans.
Suggestions and Feedback is a little office located somewhere to the OtakuMall. There is a steady stream of members going in every so often to report a glitch in their myOtaku house or some other fault as well as those ready to give their opinions of the site and offering suggestions for the Island and how it can be improved. The office itself is spacious but not that large and is usual manned by one of OtakuBot?s helpers so the other Moderators can devote their time to better things such as repairing the faults the members raise and such.
As with every area of OB each team has a HQ which is identical to the Space Needle and Team Koizumi Headquarters is no different. But of course the interior is always different depending on what area the Moderators look after. Team Koizumi kept their interior more ?homely? and real than the others because out of all the areas on the Island theirs resembles the real world the most so they wanted to keep it looking as ?real world-ish? as possible. The main area of the tower resembles a students flat [But much bigger obviously] but what you find inside is very different. Drawings are pinned up on the walls, a large flat-screen television with complete entertainment system dominates one side and there is always a plethora of DVDs or Videos in front of it. Also there is a sound system which is linked to the whole tower so the Mods can listen to their favourite music while they are working and it can be pumped through the whole tower. The other similarity with a Student flat is that it always seems to be in a state of semi-cleanliness. Each Mod has his or her own room in their towers but no one knows what they?re like on the inside. In the centre of each tower is a transmission and transport system so the Mods can stay in touch with each other using the towers ?Space Needle?.
The Arena is by far the largest area on the island. This is mainly because the Dome of the Adventure Arena takes up a large amount of space but also because of the beautiful rolling country side these members asked for because they claimed it gave them inspiration while they worked. The Arena looks like a vast network of roads and buildings all interconnected and surrounding the huge dome that is the Adventure Arena. To the east of the adventure arena is the recruitment studios where writers converse about their latest projects and prospective plays come to audition for parts in the next smash hit RPG. To the west is the living quarters of the majority of the members because of the space in the Arena, there are several ?high life? areas such as RPG Boulevard where the top writers live and work. The rest of the RPG arena is given over to the Underground which is not one building but a mass of comic shops, writer?s guilds, night-clubs and an assortment of other things. In stark contrast to these is the Anthology which is a very quiet place compared to the load bangs that echo out from the Adventure Arena. The district seems to be full of libraries and book clubs and it is very rare anything above a whisper can be heard within its streets.

The Adventure Arena is a huge silver dome which dominates the main area of The Arena. The entrances to this dome are located in several places around its base and are all identical in that they are large silver-plated automatic doors. Each one leads you to a reception area of sorts where the member on duty will ask you to sign in listing your user-name and which RPG you are in so the building does not become too over-crowded. Each reception area has a waiting and game room adjacent so those waiting for their RPG to start can kick back and rest up while waiting for the creator to come along and start the next chapter. Once the RPG starts the Members are led down a ?Star Trek? like corridor with door lining either side indicating the RPGs title and the creator so people do not get lost. The RPGs themselves now play out like an interactive Computer-Game like ?Star Wars: Galaxies? or ?Enter the Matrix? so the members actually become the characters in all aspects but still know who they are and are able to leave at any time. So basically if your character is a jerk, you are a jerk as well; This can?t be helped because it was the way the HTML was programmed for Adventure Arena but it does allow the player to ?Be the Character? for once.
Adventure Recruitment is to the west of the Adventure Arena and far away from the grime and grit of the underground because it wants to maintain its sparkling image. Recruitment looks like Hollywood in that there are studios and sound stages all over in a random pattern that are owned by various RPG Companies or Independent Producers such as JP Studios or Arcadia Experience Inc. etc. The Recruitment process has changed slightly from coming to the Island. Now what happens is that the author sends out PMs to all members they feel would be interested with the RPG idea described and inviting them to come along to an audition for certain parts. Once they arrive they are given lines to read and their Avatar is changed to the appearance of the character as specified by the author. The members read in front of the author, producer and a third-party candidate who more often that not is friends with the author and helped them write out the story for the RPG. After the audition is over the member usually has to wait around a week or so before getting a response back from the author saying if they?re in or out.
The Arena Underground is not under the Adventure Arena as you?d expect but it?s more of a black market deal that covers a large area of The Arena. It lacks the organised feel of the rest of the Island yet the various areas of the Underground have managed to sort themselves together in some fashion so places that deal with similar things are close together and so it is rare that a member will become lost in the Underground looking for what they?re after. The Underground deals with the parts of the RPG that the Adventure Arena doesn?t have time to deal with. It is a place where those involved in certain RPGs can come and talk with each other as themselves and not in character, joking about events in the RP or wondering what will come next. There is a large Underground following for some members who have hit it big and made some of the most memorable RPs, while most find it flattering others find it slightly unnerving to be chased around the Underground by a group of fangirls/boys or a mix of both. It is also the place where the Nightlife of O.B. has arisen; while this doesn?t have that much to do with RPs most of the clubs have a theme such as medieval and so on.
The OB Anthology is perhaps the quietist of all the forums on the Island. Far from the hustle and bustle Prefecture, especially the noise that emanates from the music and movies. In terms of position in the Arena the Anthology is to the south east from the Adventure Arena because the users who live there sound discovered they couldn?t concentrate with the noises that periodically escape the Dome. When you?re approaching the Anthology you are treated to a relaxing walk down a very long garden path which is lined with several book clubs and writing guilds and all the while the large white building ahead of you gets slightly bigger with each step until you finally reach the Anthology. As with most of the forums there is welcoming desk where you can get your bearings and get where you want to go. The reading section is obviously split into sections catering to each genre, from Horror to Romance and so on. These areas have bookshelves full to bursting with the greatest works of fiction known to Man as well as some work by OB members, you can always get a drink here but be careful not to spill on the pages. There are also areas where members can go a work on their own works of fiction, poetry, song writing and so on but added to this are writing seminars provided by the Moderators and some of the better known members, these can range from RPG creation to song writing.
Team Hanzo Headquarters is located atop the Adventure Dome and as with all the head quarters resembles the Space Needle in Seattle. Entrance is gained from the Dome, Moderators or members simply step into a transport-chute which rockets them into the Headquarters where they can go about there business. The main room of the HQ has a large screen which lists the currently active RPs as well as the ones that are currently being played in the Dome, this allows the Mods to keep an eye on the RPGs to make sure they stay out of the realms of ?5p@m? and other undesirables. The rest of the room has laptops strewn around with new RP policies ready to be implemented, the RP the Moderator is currently working or their newest addition to the Anthology. When the Underground was first designed it was realised that the Moderators needed to keep an eye on it so they installed several cameras around to make sure all the members are doing what they should be. The living area of the HQ is relatively clean with only a few food wrappers and such strewn around, this is because this area is customisable so the Moderators can changed the appearance every so often to resemble their current favourite RPG. Each Mod has his or her own room in their towers but no one knows what they?re like on the inside. In the centre of each tower is a transmission and transport system so the Mods can stay in touch with each other using the towers ?Space Needle?.
-=============- So there it is boys and girls, the Underground thread for my personal Magnum Opus is up and running. Any questions about the RPG, storyline, character interaction and anything else can be asked her as well as any information you want to add to your character that wasn?t part of the sign-up profile. The Island is online. Jokopoko
  9. Date: April the 15th, 1662 The journal of 2nd Lieutenant Arthur B. Williamson, British Royal Navy May the lord have mercy on my soul for what I am about to write could be considered blasphemy of most high, praise be to god. It has been several days since I was able to escape from His Majesty?s Ship St. George after being wrongly accused of pilfering the Rum stores aboard ship. I was able to make my way to this hell hole of a port, Tortuga I think it is called, but was appalled to find that the French have a controlling interest in this place and I must make myself before scarce they find me. I have been able to purchase a room in one of the less seedy establishments on the port and have sold my uniform in order to blend in with the other ruffians of the port while not arousing any suspicion from the French guards. If worst comes to worst I suppose I will have to find myself a position of power on one of the vagrant ships that make harbor here. But the idea of an upstanding British Officer being reduced to such low standards is appalling. But I swear upon my living soul that I will return to the St. George and clear my name, and make an example of that bastard Vincent. This place could not be more depressing or hellish. I expect I should make myself comfortable unless I am able to gain passage on one of the trading ships?or one of the so called ?Pirate? ships. What ever happens my god have mercy upon my soul for the evil I may have to aid in. God bless the King. 2nd Lt. Arthur Bartholomew Williamson.
  10. Something I just wrote as it came out of my head. Untitled I knew that it was going to happen yet I didn?t do anything about it, don?t ask me why but I just couldn?t summon the strength to stop it happening. It had all built up so fast and now it was crashing down just as fast. All around me, wherever I looked, I could see her laughing at me, jeering at the idiot who thought he might stand a change with her. As I walk down the corridors and streets I see people I know, people I called friends, whispering in corners and laughing as I walk by and all the while I act as if I can?t here them because I don?t want to hear them. It hurt so much I?m trying to block the memory of that entire event from my head, erase it forever as if it had never happened. If only I?d known then what I know now none of it would have happened. I?d still be happy and nothing would have changed; now I?ve got all these questions in my head thanks to the gift that is hind-sight. How could I have done it differently, what would I have changed, what wouldn?t I have done at all. I?ll never know now because it?s all coming to its conclusion and for that I?m glad. If you looked at me now you?d see just a normal person who looked as though his life wasn?t that bad, nothing seemed to be troubling him as he walked down the street listening to the music in his mind, not paying any attention to anything save for the sound of his footfalls on the pavement and the direction in which he was going. How wrong you?d be. You can?t hear the battle that?s raging in my mind, whether I should confront her about it, set things straight about what had happened. Or I should just purge her from my mind and get on with my life. But it?s not as easy as that, for as long as I can remember I?ve known her face, I?ve heard her voice, I?ve died a little each time she hugged someone else, I?ve noticed the little things that make her perfect and the one thing that makes her a cut above the rest. If beauty is in the eyes of the beholder then I wish I could just tear mine out and never look at her again. If I could I?d just go back and stop myself from saying anything about it to anyone and then I could just deal with myself and not have to cope with all the staring eyes, wicked tongues and burning words. I?d end it all and go back to the beginning.
  11. I'm not to sure about posting here but where the heck. I'm not in a relationship with this girls but I have liked her for at least two years and to think it all started out as a lie to throw one of my friends off the trail. Lets tell the tale: "About two years ago I was having a convo with my friend and he just kept asking me who I liked at the time and he wouldn't quit so I just thought for a second and her name popped into my head so I told him that. Being please with my quick thinking I just got on with my life, how naive I was. After a few weeks I actually began to notice her more and more and more until I started working out where she was at the time and what lessons I'd have with her and when they would be etc. By this point I was cursing myself and trying to get her out of my head but I couldn't. You'd think I would have told her, asked her out and all that but no. The reason being I'm me and such. So here I am two years on, we're both still at the same school with 5 months left or so before we all leave and I'm at a loss what to do" The sad tale of my only experience with love (I do think it's love, why else would I be so engrossed with her and not do anything). Thanks for reading. Jokopoko
  12. First off, great to see you back on the Boards Corey, we've missed ^_^. Now to the RP. Looks to be a highly interesting RP, if not kind of confusing ^_^;;. But from what I can understand looks like you've got something special here but I have a question or two: 1. Is this Alternative Universe kind of thing/Distant future? 2. What parts would the players be playing? 3. Whats the main plot of the RP going to be? Once again, great to see you back, look forward to this ^_^. Will
  13. Name: Azurel Firmalent. Age: 32. Race: Blue Mage. Location: Victoria. Appearance: Click here [Ignore the blue-fire]. Spells/Weapons:

Weapon: Azurel carries with him the sapphire sword known as Celeg Elu. The sword can generate a powerful blast of magic, it?s strength depends on what state Azurel is currently in. While in a normal state the blade glows a pale blue and is able to light the way during the long dark.
Animal 1, Great Bear Sokhan: Azurel met Sokhan early in his journeys as a young Mage, he came across the huge Bear while it was caught in a trapper net and a grizzly fate awaited him. Azurel took pity on the Bear, not just because he was a Blue Mage, and released him and Sokhan showed his appreciation by binding himself to Azurel and his Magic. Sokhan has amazing strength; he can tackle most any enemy and remove many barriers blocking the path.
Animal 2, Phoenix Renath: Renath was a gift from one of the Red Mages Azurel has met along his travels for services he gave to the Mage during his quest. At first Renath was aloof and rarely did what was asked of him but with time and patience Renath and Azurel have become friends and allies. Renath can serve as a scout and blight Azurel?s foes from above with storms of fire from his wings and beak.
Animal 3, Hippogryph Brenor: Azurel met Brenor when he was just a hatchling for Azurel and Brenor?s father had been friends for a long while before Brenor had been born. While Azurel was with Brenor and his family several wolves attacked while they were out in the forest and Brenor watched as Azurel fought valiantly to save his father [Who was not as young as he used to be], once he was sure his father was safe and well Brenor set out to follow Azurel and bound himself to him and has been with him since. Azurel can ride Brenor over great distances and into battle; Brenor fights with break, claw and hoof, he will fight to the end to ensure Azurel?s safety.
Biography: Azurel began life in a small village in a quiet corner of Victoria with his mother, father and two sisters. Early in his life he showed an affinity with the forest and the animals which lived there for he was always wandering off on his own to play with the birds and watch the bear cubs with their parents. His sisters, Cerulan and Lavender, were both older than him [Cerulan two years and Lavender four] and they were always running around trying to find him when he went off by himself. His farther, Kabalt, was a Blacksmith and crafted some of the finest weapons in the village for the militia and the hunting parties that went out to catch food. Where as his mother, Esmeralda was a student of Red Magic with her power she usually aided the farmers to get the crops to grow at a faster rate as well as yield more food for the village and out laying settlements. All in all Azurel had a seemingly quiet life in his village, his family was well respected, his sisters loved him dearly and his parents were always there to care for him. Early one morning in Azurel?s thirteenth year several Golem?s who had turned into degenerate monsters because of the lack of skill on the part of a Red Mage came to the village and destroyed everything in their path. His mother was able to stave off the Golems to allow some of the villagers to escape, including Azurel and the rest of the family but she herself was lost to the creatures. After a month or two of wandering the refugees arrived at the town of Allance and they tried to recover what was left of their lives. Out of his family Azurel was most affected because he was the youngest and he would often hide away in his room. His sisters became worried about him and felt he should focus his obvious talents to study the craft of Magic [All three had inherited their mothers skills] and they encouraged him to come with them to the Mage Academy that was located in Allance. His father was always engrossed with his work, it being how he coped with the loss of Esmeralda, and he was too busy to object to this so the three of them enrolled at the Academy. It was long supposed that Azurel?s talent of Magic would place him in the field of Black Mages due to the anger and rage he had inside of him as well as the hatred toward the Nexus. But as the months turned into years it was obvious he was meant for the Blue Mage order and he had a mastery over all the animals he meet during his tutorage at the Academy. His sisters left before him, Cerulan being one of the White Mages and Lavender being a Red Mage like their mother. By the time he was ready to leave Azurel was no longer a brooding teenager but a tall and confident young man. He bade farewell to his tutors and left the city, and he returned only once. Along his quest he fought many evils, gained many friends and improved his mastery of Blue Magic. At times he could summon a whole flock of Ravens to descend upon his foes should he have need. He was rarely able to call these creatures a second time but there were three that stuck with him always. These three were Sokhan the Great Bear, Renath the Phoenix and Brenor the Hippogryph and they were with him always in spirit and mind for they had bound themselves to him and were subject to his call whenever he required their service. By his thirtieth year Azurel was highly skilled in the arts of the Blue Mages, and he still roamed the wilds of Victoria yet a messenger was able to contact him and told him his father wished to see him in Allance before he died. Azurel called upon Brenor to fly him swiftly to Allance and to his father. Upon arriving he found his father on his death bed, they talked for a long while about all of Azurel?s doings in Gaia and he was glad to see his father smile and tell him he was proud of him. Before he died Kabalt told Azurel that he had made a weapon just for him when he had learned he was a Blue Mage. After his fathers funeral Azurel went back home and found the blade. It shone pale blue once his hand touched it and he named it Celeg Elu. The blade could direct him if he ever became lost and was a wondrous weapon in combat and it was stuck by him ever since to took it up from his fathers work shop.
  14. I know I haven't posted here in a while but I'm trying to breath new life into "Enter the Game". I've still got a few descriptions to finish such as the Arena and some of the Prefecture, added to that I'm going to relocate all Member dwellings to an Island version of MyOtaku but unlike the forums these will be spread across the island close to the prefered forum of the member in question. My to do list is thus: Finish the Island Make some sort of list for items we can use in the RP i.e. Strike-Out Whip Decided between Recruitment Thread or Invite Only RP [STRIKE]Make some pie[/STRIKE] P.S. I'm still looking for comments and help so if you have something to say, do so ^_^
  15. This is just an idea I?ve been working on for a while and I just want to see what people think of it and see if it?ll be worth putting into The Arena. The Lord of the Rings The Retelling -=======================- Three Rings for the Elven-Kings under the sky, Seven for the Dwarf-Lords in their halls of stone, Nine for the Mortal Men doomed to die, One for the Dark Lord on his dark throne, In the Land of Mordor where the Shadows lie. One Ring to rule them all, One Ring to find them,, One Ring to bring them all and in the darkness bind them In the Land of Mordor where the Shadows lie. -=======================- As time goes by and History becomes legend, legend becomes myth and myth becomes forgotten the records of these events can go astray so when one wishes to recount these tales and tell them once more their meaning, along with the facts, have become so wrapped up within the legends and myths that now surround it. Such a thing has happened to King Elendil II, ruler of the twin realms of Arnor and Gondor and descendent of King Aragorn Elessar, for he desires to learn of the Third Age of the Sun and the War of the Ring but none now live who remember it. Long has it been since Mordor was a threat, long has it been since Middle-Earth knew conflict and long has it been since the Fellowship of the Ring departed the land of Middle-Earth for now many of them have departed this world for the world beyond. So it came to pass that Elendil II sought the records of the Third Age of the Sun for he wished to study in depth this dark time and make certain that the inhabitants of Middle-Earth know why they are now kept safe from the enemy. Thus Elendil II has called together a council comprising of the direct decedents, or their relatives, of those who were know to have taken a great part in the War of the Ring. From the Hobbits of the Gardener Kin founded by Samwise Gamgee to the ruling family of Rohan who trace themselves back to Éomer Éadig, Third Marshall of the Riddermark and first King of the third line. Though many details regarding the War of the Ring remained hidden from this council they were able to discover much concerning the nine companions known collectively as the Fellowship of the Ring. Of men there were two, Aragorn son of Arathron and another from Gondor who was son of the ruling steward but his name has been obscured through time. Of the Elven-Kin there was one, the prince of Greenwood and son of Thranduil but his name was also lost. The Dwarves sent one of Durins Line, he was of Erebor though his name has also been lost in time. Of the Istari, or wizards, one was present and by the Elves he was known as Mithrandir but more commonly he was Gandalf the Grey who later became the White Wizard. The Hobbit-Folk sent to Rivendell four of their kin and they were Samwise Gamgee and Frodo Baggins, the remaining two were of Brandybuck and Took decent yet their fore-names remain hidden. Frodo Baggins was the most important member for it was he who bore the Ruling Ring along the Quest of Mount Doom. Though only a few of the Fellowship have been named it is entirely possible that the group had more than nine among it?s number and the Free-People of Middle-Earth sent more of their Kin on the Quest of Mount Doom but none of this can be sure as it has been a terrible long count of years since the events of the Third Age though it will not prevent the telling of the Fellowship of the Ring and their exploits, though it may not be entirely accurate. -=======================- As I?m sure you?ve guessed this is running along the same lines as the ?Fellowship of the Ring? RPG Vicky made some time back but I?ve tweaked it just a little. Basically we?re going to be taking the place of the characters in the Fellowship from the start and then play it from there and see how the plot develops due to our different choices i.e. taking the Gap of Rohan, not going into Moria and so on. The nine original places of the Fellowship are there and they have to be filled with characters equivalent to that character, for example Boromir cannot be replaced by an Elf or a Dwarf because he has to be a Man of Gondor and son of the ruling Steward. The four places that cannot be changed are ARAGORN, GANDALF, SAMWISE and FRODO this is because these four are integral to the plot of the story and cannot be replaced. The other five are open to changing but they still have to be two hobbits, one man, an elf and a dwarf. I?m going to allow four more places bringing to total to thirteen but for these places I?d rather have characters from the books as opposed to originals, this is because I want to make it seem that the historical records aren?t that well kept and it can also have an effect on the storyline, for example Elladan or Elrohir could have chosen to accompany the Fellowship, the same can be said for Beregond for he may have travelled with Boromir to Rivendell. I?m doing this in the hopes that it?ll make for an interesting RPG. As for main ?bad guys? I?ll have some cameo?s for them so you don?t apply to play as Saruman or Sauron etc but I?ll send some people PMs and see if they?d be interested in playing the enemies and make note that it?s not just Saruman and Sauron to play but others like the Orkish commanders or the Ring Wraiths. -=======================- The Characters I?m not sure if all of you will fully understand what I?m wanting to do with this so I?ll take the time to explain by listing each of the characters that are playable for the RPG and what changes, if any, will occur. [The four main characters will have players selected for them before the recruitment starts] Aragorn, heir to the throne of Gondor Aragorn will remain as he is because he is one of the key characters within the story and all storylines involving him will have their key plots remain true such as the re-forging of Narsil, his coronation in Minas Tirith and etcetera. He may not be killed at any point. Aragorn will be played by me. Frodo Baggins, the Ring bearer Frodo will remain as he is as well because he is the key character within the book and he may not be killed at any point before he has destroyed the Ring. All storylines which revolve around Frodo will remain basically the same yet there will be room for change. Frodo will be player by _____. Samwise Gamgee, gardener of Frodo Baggins Due to his proximity with storylines concerning Frodo Samwise will remain unchanged and the other reason is because he is a key player in future storylines such as when Gollum arrives in ?The Two Towers?. Samwise must not die before the Ring is destroyed. Samwise will be player be _____. Gandalf, the Grey Pilgrim As another key player in many storylines and events surrounding the Lord of the Rings (Or the War of the Ring in the book) Gandalf cannot be changed. Gandalf will be killed at some point during the Fellowship retelling but the manner of his death may be different should we choose not to go to Moria but his death will still have meaning. Gandalf will be played by _____. Peregrin Took, heir to the Thain of the Shire While Peregrin [Pippin] is another key character he is not so key as to have certain parts of his character changed. For example his name can change, his personality but he must still perform all the other tasks performed by Pippin in the story i.e. bring the Ents to Isengard and ride to Minas Tirith with Gandalf. Meriadoc Brandybuck, heir to the Master of Buckland Similar to Pippin, Meriadoc [Merry] is a main character but can still have parts of his character changed such as him name or his overall personality. But he must still play the key roles he played in the story i.e. killing the Witch-King along with Éowyn and so on. Legolas, Elven Prince of Mirkwood Being, for the most part, one of Aragorn?s main companions Legolas is a main part of the plot as well as aiding the Fellowship in their dealings with the Elves, should any occur. Much like Merry and Pippin his name may be changed, overall personality and such but the key things must remain i.e. he is the son of Thranduil, an excellent scout etcetera. Gimli, Dwarven Lord of Erebor Being, for the most part, one of Aragorn?s main companions Gimli is a main part of the plot as well as aiding the Fellowship in their dealings with the Dwarves, should any occur. Much like Merry and Pippin his name may be changed, overall personality and such but the key things must remain i.e. he is the son of Glóin, he can be highly stubborn etcetera. Boromir, Captain of Gondor Though Boromir dies in ?The Fellowship of the Ring? it is quite possible for him to survive the Battle of Amon Hen and continue on with Aragorn, Legolas and Gimli. As with the pervious four members of the Fellowship his name may change, his overall personality and such but key things remain i.e. he is son of Denethor and a brave Captain of the Gondorians. The Four extra positions As explained above I?m going to add four more positions in the Fellowship bringing the total to 13. With these you can make up original characters if you wish but if you do make sure they fit in well with the ?Lord of the Rings? universe. I would prefer you to play a character from the book that did not join the Fellowship i.e. Beregond or Glorfindel. This makes it easier because it allows you to integrate actual characters into the story and see how things unfold. With these characters I want the details to remain essentially the same but they can still have alterations akin to those of Merry, Pippin, Legolas, Gimli and Boromir. -=======================- I welcome any and all comments so please, feel free to give me your views on the idea.
  16. Okay, from the looks of things Kane and Neuvoetere have the makings of a good sign-up so I'm saying you're accepted but I'd like you to finish the sign-ups ASAP. From the player point we need, and I mean need, two more people to start because the RPG is designed with 8 pilots so not everyone has to fighting at once unless its a certain battle type so if we don't get the two we need we won't be able to start ^_^;;.

Jeran crew up in the outskirts of the first city so he has always had a touch for the nature of each world and is unlikely to allow a course of action that will result in the planet itself coming to harm. 19. I'd have vote G'n'R seeing as I've listened to more of their stuff but I'm still partial to Aerosmith. Has anyone heard this new band called 'Velvet Revolver' who are made up os some of the old Guns...I've not but I haven't got a very high opinion of them seeing as they haven't got Axl Rose and he made that band :p. Aerosmith are good for their comedy value I think, songs like 'Dude looks like a lady' and 'Love in an elevator' are classics and can never die :p.

When I was in the lower years of my school this sort of social split was around but after going into 6th Form [I dunno what grade that is but it's 17-18] it seems to have fallen away because I've made friends with a lot of people I didn't even know and had already made judgements about them ^_^;;. Only a few people in my year [Upper 6th] still cling to it and from the looks of things so do some people in lower 6th do as well. I think this kind of split is bad for youngsters because it gives them bad ideas about people because of what they listen to or what they wear so I say 'REVOLUTION!' :p
  21. ^_^;; I'm starting to think it wasn't such a good idea to post this because people will hurt me if I don't post it, heh. On a RPG-Related note I'm looking for help in making a glossery of sorts for items and such we can use in the RPG like a Strike-Out whip or a Spolier-Tag blast etc. If anyone fancies helping me just add me to your AIM and talk or send me a PM either way I'd be glad of the help ^_^. 22. OtakuBoards: Tales from the Game I?m in two camps about posting this but I figure it?s better to try than not to so here it is ^_^. This is going to be like the Reanimatrix thread James has got up in that this will allow people to write little stories about their OB ?Alter Egos? [If you want to call them that] before I get the actual RPG up. Anyone can put a story here but I advise you read the Underground thread first so you get an idea of what Enter the Game is and what the OB Island actually looks like. This RPG isn?t as dark and dank as others might be so the stories don?t have to be all nasty with the violence :p, they can be comedy stuff [Like Enter the Net] your character going about his/her business on the Island with an OB twist...you get the idea, basically anything so long as it?s PG-13 and has relevance to the Enter the Game idea. N/B: The M.L.D. stands for Member Location device and I?m gonna use it in my first story and for reference it looks like a Scouter from DBZ. -========================- The O.B. Jokopoko sighed deeply as he put his hands behind his head and stared up at the convincing sky of the OB Island, the illusion would have been perfect had it not bee for the green HTML streaking across the sky every few minutes. It even rained HTML coding on the island these days. After the ?accident? Jokopoko?s post count had gone up faster seeing as it was easier to get around the island than the boards themselves yet sometimes he missed sitting in his comfy leather chair hammering away at the keys while munching on any kind of food. Sill nothing could compare with the Island itself and he?d happily lose it all again to get the OB Island. His day-dream may have continued had he not been snapped out of it. ?Hey, are you awake today?? Kane asked him as sat down on his left side. ?Yeah I guess so...just reminiscing I guess? He replied, a lop-sided grin appearing over his avatars face. The human-sized Wheeljack nodded his head solemnly before the lights on the side of his head flashed blue rapidly as he laughed. Jokopoko glared at him be decided not to make anything of it and made himself see the funny side to it before talking again. ?Listen we?d better get going, we don?t want to be late like last time do we?? He said, a sweatdrop appearing on his forehead. ?Hell no, I don?t want to go through that again? Kane replied with some seriousness for a change. The two friends picked themselves from the bench on RPG Boulevard and made their way to the Tube Station at the end of the street. The street was pretty long but it didn?t take them to long to get to the tube but just as they were getting in Jokopoko saw a signal coming in on his M.L.D. ?Hold on Gav...Andy?s coming? No sooner had the words left his mouth then the red colour scheme of an Optimus Prime avatar came bolting down the road. ?Hi guys, sorry I?m late,? He said with a sweat-drop on his face plate, ?I got stuck in the Underground, are we ready to go?? Both of them nodded and Jokopoko stepped into the tube first and said clearly: ?The O.B.? and in an instant he was shooting across the island at a phenomenal speed which he would likely not be able to stand in the ?real world?. A few seconds later he was on the beach with the other two behind him and the O.B. club was a little way down the road. -===- The reason Jokopoko disliked the functions at the O.B. was that he couldn?t stand some of the elitist members who had several successful RPGs under their belts while he had a scant few. The Moderators where usually fine but then again he didn?t know that many so he couldn?t make a full assumption on them. He made his way through the crowd on a beeline for the drinks bar but he almost collided with a six-foot wolf on its hind legs before he got there. ?Ack, sorry about that Solo? He said and again a sweat drop appeared on his face as he offered and hand to the downed wolf. ?Heh, no worries Joko. Hey, you?ve got some gum on your jacket there, better sort it out? Solo said pointing to an area on his black full length jacket. ?Ah blast it must have been on the floor. I swear I need to reformat myself twice a day? Jokopoko said as he activated the key-board on his arm. For an instant the Anime Neo was replaced by a dull-grey Mannequin as the image became pixeled as the foreign object was removed from the picture. For a split-second as his image flicked back a warning came on the M.L.D. that said in bold red letters ?VIRUS DETECTED? and it beeped shrilly. ?What was that?? Solo asked, an inquisitive look coming over the wolfs face. ?Nothing...I think is just a glitch in the M.L.D. Sorry about knocking you down but I?ve got to get a drink?. Jokopoko carried on his way but he couldn?t get rid of the nagging feeling that it hadn?t been a glitch...he?d talk to Shinmaru about it later seeing as he?d designed the M.L.D. in the first place. -========================- ^_^;; Might not be too good but that?s what this thread is for, to make us good! So this is open for everyone else...come on it ^_~.
  23. Thanks for the feedback and supportive comments people ^_^. Gav I'm already way ahead of you for the Arena stuff, I haven't got a fully formed idea for it yet I have an out line: The Adventrue Arena [Keeping it the way I though it would be as opposed to the Inn] is a huge silver dome which houses all the RPGs and the rest of the arena is built around it. The Recruitment stuff is like Movie Studios and such where the members go to audition for parts in the next big RPGs which I think is nifty ^_^. Also quite a few members live around the Arena cause it's really big and nice looking ^_~ with a few 'high-rise' areas such as RPG Boulevard. And finally the Underground would be a sort of black market deal spread all over the Arena area. Such as comic book stores, writers guilds, nightclubs and all that kind of thing so it'd be a sort of seedy underworld to the spiffy silver glow of the Adventure Arena. Even more good news ^_^. I've been talking to Solo and it appears we'll be linking EtG [Enter the Game] and the continuation of EtN [Enter the Net] in a kind of Anime/Manga deal with Solo dealing mainly with the story of the Mods and me dealing with the Members stories and so on. I'm like James in that I thought of Tokyo 3 as the Evangelion Tokyo 3 but reading Sirens idea it seems that would be much cooler and make it a little more 'OB Real' if you get what I mean I.E. Using the Spoiler Tags as weapons and such.
  24. Okay, done a few more descriptions of the areas of the Island. I'm still wanting opinions of these and the RPG idea in general ^_^;; =============== Tokyo 3 is just a short chute ride from Index, located south-east of Index in a large valley.

A time when Yu-Yu-Hakusho had its own forum, when newbies ran rampage all over the Digimon and Pokèmon message boards. Also the Anime Boards were the area most hit by the invasion of H4XX0r so there is an area devoted to the battle of the Mods with authentic replica model detailing the events leading up and during the war. Only a few members a month go into these old and squeaky halls, many are curious newbies wanting to what OtakuBoards was like before Version 7 and looking in wonderment at the threads that were allowed to survive into the archive stage where today similar ones would be eradicated before they reached four replies.

[More to come on this bit]

  25. Right-o, from the looks of it Gav you're going to be in but of course I want your bio finished ASAP. Everyones Zoids look fine and dandy but I have a quible with Rhians bio. It's not that it's not good but I feel it could be a little more detailed and slightly longer, to do this you could tell us more about her past before becoming a pilot and such and her career as a pilot. Methuselah yours looks fine but I would ask you just to move the text around and such for your bio and personallity so they're in paragraphs and so are eaiser to read. Thanks for signing up guys, only four more spots left.
