Meh, the Side Quests are more like side games. You can easily skip them. It's mostly to gain some cash or stuff. Of course the game has tons of these so you can almost say they are essential to the game experience. Just play the first 2 hours of AC1 then play AC2 fully because I thought it was a lot more playable.

I thought ChEe was talking about Animal Crossing when I first read it. If you really want a challenge try to beat that game!
