1. The scariest games I have ever played would have to be the Fatal Frame series. In resident evil you may always have some kind of weapon but when you run out of special film, you are done for if a ghost shows up.
2. I really used to be obsessive over the Backstreet Boys as a preteen. Now, however, I refuse to listen to it. If I do, I start making fun of them and thinking of Blink 182's all the small things. That makes me feel better.
3.
Now I feel bad for being the only No vote so far. :(
Saying I agreed with Shy, means I also said no. Do we really need more popularity contests here?
4. Everyone loves Homer
5. I can start Pokemon Red from the beginning to the Elite Four in 4 hours max. 'Nuff said.
6. At least Aang isn't going to be played by a girl.
7.
I don't see the point of a rep system. It just seems like another popularity contest to me. -Shy
Shy's way of thinking is Seconded.
8.
At the moment, just Fruits Basket and DN Angel, but I've got my eye on Anima+ and a few others. Ther just isn't a very good selection where I'm from, especially with a few local bookstores closeing recently.
I think you will be very pleased with Anima+. I've read the first couple of volumes and it is a pretty good read. Check it out.
I'd also like to have Ayashi no Ceres yeah, another older manga/ anime, but still great.
Oooooh, I loved what I read/watched of this. If I ever got enough money to spend I'd love to work on collecting this series. It's pretty disturbing but not as disturbing as Battle Royale. I've seen both movies and read the book. Now I am too scared to read the manga. (AND FOR GOOD REASON) Instant Teen? I am afraid to ask...but what is that about?
9. I currently have five worlds. Tales of the Timid which is my personal blog Cosplayer's Realm for all things related to Cosplay Furious Angel for all my Fanwords Japanese 101 for well, teaching Japanese Youtube Findings for anything I find interesting on Youtube I only really update my personal blog because I am often times too busy to keep up with the others. The rest have potiential and I have been meaning to post on them.
10. A fourth season would be somewhat difficult because I heard that the voice actor for Iroh
died.
I love this series very much. I saw a few random episodes here and there and one day I decided to just buy the entire series so I do not waste my time trying to find it on tv and enjoy it all in 'order' Book 2 and 3 have to be my favorite seasons. Mainly because Toph is my favorite character and the plot twists and the major character development in book 3. The repeated opening got really annoying though after the first disc of Book 1.
11.
8.) Kodocha, Sana's Stage Vol 1&2 I just thought it was a cute Manga. Although Sana is quite mature for her age. I love all the cracks about her gigalo.
You should work on finishing the manga series. It can be really touching at times and is very good overall. Thanks to parents hating anime, I could get away with manga a lot easier than I could anime. It was cheaper and I didn't need technology to enjoy it. Here is what I have: Kare Kano: His and Her Circumstances (Entire collection Vol. 1- 21) My first manga. I remember being at Hastings and deciding upon two new arrivals. I.M.V.U or Kare Kano. After reading the first twenty pages or so I decided on Kare Kano. It took four years to complete this series. FOUR YEARS. I love it though. I cute love story with comedy put in. Vampire Knight (Vol. 1-5) My current mission and obsession. I never subcribed to Shojo Beat but I read it when bored at Barnes and Nobles. I instantly fell in love with this series. I have been collecting it since. Volume six is due in April =3 XXXHolic (Vol. 1-3) I kind of bought this on a whim. I usually prefer to stick with one series before I buy other manga series. Being a fan of Tsubasa and no longer dating my last ex...(He was collecting Tsubasa) I decided to read this to see how it related to Tsubasa. MegaTokyo (Vol. 1-2, 4) I love this webcomic but it confuses me with where I left off on the site, so these have been enjoyable to read. Mobile Suit Gundam: Last Outpost (Vol. 1) I was obsessed with Gundam Wing and this is a side story set in the same time frame of Gundam Wing but in an entirely different area. Never seen the next volume. Mobile Suit Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz (Vol. 1) One of my all time favorite anime movies. Just HAD to get the manga of it. 'Nuff said. If I had tons of money I'd own: Tsubasa, Fruits Basket, Kodocha, Mars, and Fushigi Yuugi. I read all of those (For the most part.) Borrowed from my ex, friends, etc. I am poor too... and I need to budget for Vampire Knight.
12. The one song that my boyfriend and I consider special and our song is Love Song by The Cure. He goes to this concert every year called KROQ's Almost Accoustic Christmas down in Southern California. The Cure was the final group to perform in the three day concert. That's when I first learned about them. I watched them perform live over the webcam. Anyways, ever since that time, my boyfriend introduced this song to me and it has been our song ever since. 13. I am actually excited to see the post counts return. Not that they really matter, but it is nice to bring some laid back personality back to the forums. Of course, quality over quantity is a given. I've only been a member here since 2001 and my post count is not necessarily high. No big. However, it feels nice to have some type of challenge to want to be here more. If there is something that makes posting fun again, I will try to be here as much as I can. If that is the case, I will try to post as much as possible. Who knows, I might get to 2000 posts within the next two years.
14. I love thunderstorms/hard rainfall the most. that is what I miss about Ilinois. Nothing better than a flash of lightning here and then some thunder. Then the heavy rythmn of rain beating against the car/window/roof. What I hate is hot weather. It drives me up the wall. You get all sweaty, wearing hoodies and jeans are unbearable (which I wear year round.) Besides I get so hot at night I can't sleep. I am the kind of person that likes to caccoon herself in layers of blankets and snuggle in a foetal position all night. Mmmm
15. Anime is cartoons. However it is unique in the way it is portrayed, written, and drawn. It really depends on how obsessed the person is with anime. Do they chose anime over personal hygiene? Do they spend all their time choosing anime over their responsibilities? If they take care of themselves then who cares if they spend time watching anime on their free time. It can be a healthy hobby.
16. The reason why I first got into anime eleven years ago was because anime was different compared to the other cartoons of that point in time. There were several cartoons yes but anime was the first to have a series of sorts. Unlike American cartoons who had a different plot/story with the same characters, anime developed the story and plot with episodes that deepened the story. It was like reading a book. Each episode was a new chapter to the novel.
17. When it comes to dubbed anime or subbed anime, it really depends on the quality of each. I mostly prefer the subtitled version because you get to hear the anime in it's original format. With subtitled anime you also get to learn/practice Japanese too. I do not shun dubbed anime either, However if it sucks, it just sucks. For instance, I was not impressed with the Naruto and Fruits Basket dubs, "BELIEVE IT!" See? My point right there. I do not like some companies changing things in the anime sometimes but I can see why they do it for the 'younger' audience that typically watches anime.
18. It does not matter to me what you guys choose. I read all of the posts in this thread up to this point and I will have to agree. I am just excited to see a new turnpoint for the anime forum.
19. Gurren Lagann is amazingly hilarious. It is just awesome... Lucky star and Azumanga Daioh?
20. I already got my big christmas present a few months early: A decked out laptop custom built HP My wish list is as follows: 100 ISO black and white film 400 ISO black and white film (several of each) several sheets of RC paper to print my pictures on colored pencils more of the cherry blossom collection products from bath and body
21. I am really looking forward to the christmas holidays. I get to play more Pirates Online, chat with friends and I plan to have a Disney movie marathon at my house. I also going to have a pirates of the caribbean and fantasy movie marathon as well. My friends and I decided since the middle of October to hold a sake and sushi party where we will eat a lot of high class sushi and drink very very high quality sake. Mmmm I also got a lot of cool gifts for the folks that I am excited to see them open. Besides that, not much more to look forward too because I already got my christmas present a few months early: a laptop. Of course I plan to go to church...unless McDonalds makes me work till late.
22. You and I are in the same boat. I'd recommend bacardi, sake, rum in coke, and whiskey in coke. I hate beers, wines and vodkas but I love the above mentioned. Want to get drunk, stick with the hard liquor mixed with coke. Oh and...drink the sake hot...easier to go down because the temperature masks some of the alcohol.
23. Too cute
Fixed the link for you. It only needs the ending tag of the url. ~Rachmaninoff

24. Colour: I have brown hair with natural blonde, red, and brown highlights. So it is really reddish in fall, brown in winter, and blonde-ish in spring/summer. I would kill myself before I dyed my hair. If I could pick the one thing that I absolutely go shallow and ditzy over is my hair. My hair have been various lengths. The shortest reaching just above my shoulders and the longest to my hips. I am trying to grow it out to my hips again. Style? Whatever I feel like that day. Usually I am just lazy when it comes to my hair. Hair on guys? The longer the better...the longer it is the more I can play with.
25. I am working on cosplay for a convention in April. Bridget from Guilty Gear and Rikku from FFX. Depending which one I get finished first will depend on which I wear for the Anime Halloween Party at my college.
