Is it okay to beat the crap out of your best friend's woman?
Japan replied to 2010DigitalBoy's topic in General Discussion
I've had experiences where women are sneaky and annoying ditzes. You need to work like them to get them to stop. Teachers are people too and who knows you might get those D's raised up a grade or even make a new friend. I've had troubles with people like this before in college and in high school. The best way is to avoid and chill around teachers and/or tell them. You can easily keep your male pride by being near teachers. You are not telling on her yet if they see her tormenting you, success. Or she may not have the guts to do it around the teachers and it will stop. Trust me. Just try it. -

I would just tell a teacher. What may even be better would be to conveniently 'hang out' near a teacher. That way if she does that crap she gets caught and you have an alibi. No use to get screwed over when she plays the innocent puppy after getting beat up by you. -
When I am emotionally sick, I do not sleep, do not eat, and rarely drink, which in turn makes me sick physically sick.

Same things when I am not sick: Go outside with wet hair Stay up late Don't wear a coat etc Though I drink a LOT of green tea.

Today one of my favorite books popped into my head. It is called From the Mixed-Up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler. It is basically a story about a girl and her brother who run away and live in the Metropolitan Museum of Art just long enough to teach her parents a lesson. So if you were in the girl's situation and wanted to teach your parents a lesson, where would you run away to and live for a month? What adventures you expect to have? What difficulties might you face? Me, I'd catch a greyhound to New Jersey. Before that I would stay over at my best friend's apartment just long enough to afford the trip with some spending money along the way. Difficulties might be that there will not be any decent bed or anything for a while and I would miss my black lab terribly.

Wow.... I am totally shocked after watching that video. They are certainly misguided and I can see how the father won. God hates the sin but loves the sinner. They certainly seemed to forget that important fact. Reminds me of the pharisees from Bible times. They thought themselves all high and mighty yet they were so hypocritical. I do feel that the end times are well on their way, but thank God for these incidents? When I was watching that video, I basically rested my head in my hands and shook my head. How can they say things like God hates fags etc etc. Since when does a church of god use such derogatory terms?

Riding the city buses from point A to point B can be rather tiresome and boring. So lately I am occupying myself with Pokemon Yellow for the Gameboy Colour. It is entertaining me so that is all that matters.

Today was slighty better. I spent last night at my sister's house. We played scrabble and watched Memoirs of a Geisha. Today so far is pretty decent except for feeling sick for most of it. I got second place in the sumo tournament that we had in Japanese class today and we watched some more of this movie about a guide dog named Quill...in Japanese of course. I beat my friend in Literati twice and now I am just putting off going home. I work tonight for the graveyard shift and I am not looking forward to it. Drunks hitting on you all night is not fun. However, I do want the money for a car, college, laptop, and a new messenger bag. At least I am sure all of your Friday nights will be a lot more enjoyable and peaceful than mine. Little advice, DO NOT work graveyard at McDonalds if you value your patience and sanity. And Aaryanna? I envy your ability to stay responsible with your real life responsibilities. I hate to study things that seem worthless to me. Thus why I hate college.

Perhaps always keep it locked and always keep your key with you as another rule?

After finally reading the applications so far, my ideas do not seem so original anymore but here we go. What is your availability? For instance, if you held an event where you had to tally votes, you might need to invest more time than usual. I come here at least one every day. Otakuboards has at least an hour or two of my time everyday sadly, but hey it is a bad habit. If I am here I might as well do something besides just posting and making threads everyday. I've helped with several things on the site before I feel like I know how things run around here. I've tallied votes once or twice before on the Nifty Fifty event before it became that. Are you happy to work with members to bring their event ideas to life? Being just an ordinary member myself I know how it feels to try and get my voice heard for ideas. I feel that the event master should not be the only one responsible for thinking of event ideas. If there is some help in the idea process the events become a lot more enjoyable. I feel that the event master should work closely with the rest of the OB community to help bring fresh and fun ideas for all of us to enjoy. So if I become event master I will work with everyone for that exact purpose. I know how it feels to be ignored. List two of your own event ideas here. You will need to be able to bring your own events to OB, as member-driven events will not always be available. Now here is the place that I felt somewhat stuck, especially after reading the other posts in this thread. My first idea is to basically hold a monthly picture contest. For example, A Halloween costume contest. Everyone takes a picture of themself in their costume doing a pose. Then after everyone votes for their favorite, I will post the winner in time for Halloween. For Christmas, St. Patrick's Day, Valentine's Day, etc, have people post a picture of what they feel the meaning of that Holiday is and members vote for their favorite and that person is featured in an Announcement and perhaps we can have an Otakupedia entry to list the winners. For my second idea, we can bring back the Otakuboards banner contest. That way we can get some different skins besides Geisha and the default blue one. There can poetry contests, short story contests that follow a theme, etc. With me as event master you will not have to worry about losing Nifty Fifty. I too look forward to that every year and it is a great opportunity to look back and see how time flew by. Are you going to be committed to the job? Why should we make you Event Master? I am more responsible about tasks online than offline. I do not see why I wouldn't be commited. You should make me Event Master because I feel I can bring more to the table besides just making graphics in photoshop or anime this and that. Sure those things are great but there is a wide variety of interests here besides that. As event master, I will make sure to make things fair and fun for everyone, not just for the majority.
ok sorry this may sound stupid but what is Cosplay
Cosplay is dressing up exactly like an anime, manga, or video game character. This character can also be from movies or tv shows. Not just dressing up like them, however, but you must play the part of that character you dress up as.
-
Someone's following in my footsteps!! :o I didn't dress up, unfortunately, because I was way too busy with random crap. I thought about dressing as Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia (my high school graduation gown along with a paper with, "Arr!! Don't kill babies!! Overturn Roe v. Wade!!" written on it), but I figured there was no real point to it since I mostly sat at my cubicle all day. :/
I remember that one pirate costume you had a few years back. The exact year escapes me however. You had a top hat, sunglasses missing one shade and you were doing some kind of disco pose. Classic.

It is very simple, explain how your day was. Please no spam. Now I will start with mine. Japanese class was nerve racking because we were playing a little competition with the te form. Our team didn't win sadly but the winning team each got their own cell phone charms. After that I spent the rest of my time trying to convince my friend Angela to cosplay as Aeris from FF7 and doing research on my next cosplay project, Rikku. Not sure yet which version to do. FFX or X-2. I have some parts of each. So...DISCUSS....

I do not celebrate Halloween nor does my family. I usually go door to door with my church for canned goods but it has been different the last two years. Last year I spent it with a friend because I was kicked out, and this year I will be at work at McDonalds cleaning the place before our big inspection from corporation. Last year was probably the worst Halloween ever, but we did watch Shaun of the Dead. It is probably a good thing that I will be at work tonight. I know that because of my Christian beliefs I need to steer clear from the horror genre, but I love zombies and vampires too much. They are my two favorite horror things...if you can call it that. What would you call it? Races? People? Altered Undead humans?

Ok! Since the anime halloween party was today because idiots scheduled a college thing tomorrow. So here are some pictures. I suggest other people do the same.

Random Malicious Zombies Are Attacking Your City
Japan replied to Japan's topic in General Discussion
I'd hightail it to the Catholic Cathedral. There is a Mexican resturant nearby and 7 11 nearby, however, I can live off the communion items. The windows are high up and there's heavy doors that can be bolted. Plus there are various sharp objects that can be used as weapons. My college campus would be horrible. The place that does have food has a lot of big windows and the campus is in walking distance of two cemeteries. -
So...the question is where would you go? Keep in mind of the necessities of survival. You need adequate shelter, a way to get food and water, and a place where you can get weapons. Keep in mind you have nothing with you when you escape your house unscathed when they raid your home. So where in your town/city is the safest place to reside so that you may be the last hope to all of mankind?

I am so frustrated right now. I have the stuff for the costume and all that is left is the hair cut, black shoe laces, and finishing the sewing. What is frustrating is that I feel like my costume will turn out horrible compared to some awesome Tifa cosplay that I've seen and I would not do Tifa any justice. Anyways, when I am done I will post a picture to show you how it looks. I highly recommend that those who posted do the same...except those naked. Eww, I'd rather feast my eyes on something far sexier....and covered... So if you are naked, please refrain from the temptation. kthnxbai

1. Do you have anyone who you'd like to take your virginity? I think he knows who he is...however I am going to wait till after I am married. 2. How or where would you like to loose your virginity? my wedding night with him and only him in that room. 3. Are any conditions you consider that must be met for you to loose your virginity? Marriage 4. How does it feel being a virgin? Are you ever made fun of for it? I like it and proud of it. It never comes up in conversation to be made fun of because I am excellent at avoiding subjects I do not want to talk about.

Aren't cosplay contests suppose to be for costumes you make and display yourself? -
There's plenty of people here. If you simply migrate to the other sub forums I can tell you that there are several people chatting away.
