[COLOR="DarkRed"]Since Halloween is just around the corner, most of us should be thinking of what costumes to wear. This thread is for expressing ideas, tips, and asking for advice for what you need to complete the costume. Since I have a convention that I want to go to in March and since the anime club at my college is hosting a halloween party, I decided to go as Tifa. Not the orginal outfit but the one in Advent Children. I have the things for the outfit figured out but I just need to get the stuff and the materials to get it. I am very excited and hope to complete it before the 30th.[/COLOR]

[COLOR="DarkRed"]After playing and beating the campaign mode I have to say: Grunts are freaking awesome and I LOVE how melee weapons kick butt. I suck at targeting and shooting but I am pretty good at melee attacks. I could of sworn I heard a grunt hum the halo theme. I also love how they said things like "Monster!" and, "Feet don't fail me now." I really love the gravity hammer. The recording of gameplay is awesome and I hated the Flood. Reminds me of Silent Hill or Resident Evil.[/COLOR]

[COLOR="DarkRed"]I am sure that there are several of us out there but love to spin in circles, go upside down, go really fast and when the ride is over, you ride the same one fourteen times. I remember one time when I was younger. My friend and I went on the same three coasters and rides 20 times each in a day. I had such a migraine afterwards but it was worth it. I want to go to England again and go to Legoland, Chessington, and Alton Towers. Those were the best. I also want to go to that theme park in France that is themed with that French cartoon of Vikings. Now that I live in Spokane, Washington, they only have a themepark near here called Silverwood in Northern Idaho. It is better than nothing but I wish they had more roller coasters. So what are your experiences with roller coasters ans theme parks? Are you a roller coaster enthusiast? Can you recommend any theme park in particular? And just saying six flags will not cut it. Say where it is located too please.[/COLOR]

As well as some of the retarded games you had to play at yours or at someone else's baby shower. AM should know what I am talking about. So without further ado, let's reflect back on the good, the bad, and the ugly. I only went to one baby shower because I typically hate these kind of things. (So boring that I'd rather read a book) This baby shower was my sister's. I didn't have too much fun because it was mainly my brother-in-law's family and friends from their church. (I go to a different one) If I remember right, the games were lame, my present was the only cool one and the food was yummy.[/COLOR]

[COLOR="DarkRed"]I am not whining. Just stating. If a lot of old members come by but they leave a second they come, perhaps there is something wrong? I do participate. However, it seems that the anime lounge has nothing really going for it. I remember when I first joined that I posted in there every time I visited but not any more. Some anime people never even heard of that are being so eagerly talked about. Also, perhaps some people feel inferior to those who seem to have this vast knowledge of every anime ever created so they feel like they shouldn't post? Also, the role playing. I remember back then that there were some interesting ones but now there are ones that aren't. More than half seem like they are ten pages long. Sure, a good back story is a must but we are here to have fun, not get all serious. The art forum doesn't seem to have much participation and Otakuboards are just repeats of old threads for the most part. [/COLOR]

[COLOR="DarkRed"]I know for a fact that if you are into PS2 games, international games will not work with your PS2. Unless you have one of the old fat ones and you buy this little accessory that bypasses the location confirmation. If you have a slim PS2, that will not work. I am not sure about other systems. As for anime and manga, if you do not know Japanese or not going to learn it, it is a waste of money to buy it. Your best bet are buying cds of your favorite artists, getting random tourist things such as cell phone charms, good luck charms and erasers of your favorite anime and capsule toys. As many already stated, you can get most of that food at places like Safeway, Suncoast, and so on and so forth. Cosplay costumes are kind of hard to shop for. The sizing systems are different and your mom might accidently buy something that is too small or too big on you. Capsule toys, gundam models and cell phone charms are some of my favorites though.[/COLOR]
