Um, how about you all just make it easy on me and always private message me when you change your name and you know that I am a friend of yours. You know. It kind of sucks to try and keep track of people, I guess that I just gave up. Only those that still bother to talk to me I guess is all I have to worry about. Yeah, friends come and they go. When I came back, I was good friends with Braidless Baka, KKC, and the like. I wonder what they are up to now. Oh well.

Personally, my two favorite creatures of sorts are elves and dragons. Of course, almost all like those two. They both represent grace, strength, beauty, and speed. Though I really love how dwarves and elves bicker with eachother. That, I find, is the most entertaining in all fantasy stories.

There is more to literacy than simple communication. If we cannot write or read, how may we, who are make decisions or live? Voting, cooking, singing, song writing, basically any well paying job out there you can think of. It is important to be able to read and write. Honestly, I never learned much grammer at all till I was homeschooled in the 6th grade. I knew how to spell, but that was about it. My 5th grade year was the worse. I learned nothing, in fact, I declined in my knowledge. I had to work hard in 6-8 grade year to be able to catch up, and I still work on it today through journal entries and such. Part of the problem is the school system, another part I would have to be the little to no positive reinforcement from the parents to help encourage their kids to do well in school and to help them with their school work. I don't think that the problem is so much for being poor but maybe bad school districts and bad life choices such as becoming pregnant right before your Senior year of high school.

What do you do when the power goes out?
Japan replied to CyberPandaLove's topic in General Discussion
I just sit with my dog, cuddle an read. When it get's dark out, I just pull out a flashlight and continue to cuddle and read. -
Well, I am going to be a nanny for two months. I am going to get ripped off, but, meh, whatever. I am also going to get a job at a grocery store as a bagger...and work two jobs. I am also going to study some so that I can get my AA as soon as possible, get accepted to UI, and get the heck away from my parents. Other than that, I hope to meet my friends from Romania when they fly over as well as read several books.

If you could meet other OtakuBoards members, would you?

I already met LostProphet because he was in town. I hope to meet Charlie, and Panda some day. Panda lives just an hour or so away. We are just lazy. :animeswea -
Excuse me? I didn't know water had the power to heal. Tell me how. [Are you saying that if I get a cut you will just blow some water on it then I'll be healed?]
In Ancient times there have been those that believe that if you dipped in this pool of water or river, your blindness and/or leporsy will be healed. There has been miracles written down where this is actually the case. What of the aspect of obesity. If you drink a lot of water, you'd be able to shed some pounds more easily. Not only that, but you cannot live three days without water.

My favorite has to be water, though I like fire and darkness as well. Not really sure why but all three are really mystifying. You are not really sure what they mean and when you think you have the faintest idea, it changes again. Those three are always changing, like I am, a free spirit. They all hold great power. What you choose to do with that power may be the end of you, or may give you something that you value the rest of your life.

I only have two classes. Biology was ok but it was very boring. Surprisingly, my biology teacher did not bash Bush today at all. It was a boring lecture on lipids and cell structure. Chinese History was a blast though, like always. I turned in my journal packet for the book we've been reading called the Son of the Revolution. Very good book. While waiting for the bus, I got to talk to my friends Andy and Justin. I then had a Italian cream soda, so all is good.
i guess my "confession" is that im horribly schitzofreinic. like dual personality. i can act real nice to you one minute and we'll be the best of friends. yet i can also go all biatchy on you and turn on you before you can count to one. i got a horrible temper so that kinda contributes to it. the other flaw that i seem to posses is that when i fall in love and its not the right person i start acting like someone im not just to please th other person. thankfully ive been laying off that lately! so theres my confession. also i've stolen chocolate nuggets from those racks at the store that u fill a bag and weigh it or w/e.:catgirl:
Dual personality is not schizophrenia. That would be MPD, Multi-personality disorder. Schizophrenia is where you have extreme paranoia etc.

I do not like MySpace much anymore because I had a guy I never knew message me and tell me he thought I was hot and wanted to have sex with me. I'd rather deal with obsessed DBZ fans than those kind of people anyday.
i think that anyonw who calls anime and manga otakus losers are just self-absorbed,crazy, good-for-nothing-worthless,insolent, preppy scondrells(and/or refs) that think only their crap is worth anything and they need to shove all their rude unwanted remarks far, far up their anal canal!
Um, free country? If they call you that, so what. Who cares? Let them think what they want to think. I don't care much for anime. I think whomever is obsessed, and I mean really obsessed about anime are losers. I mean, get a life? There is far more to life than anime....that includes anything really. I'm not just beating up on anime otakus. Just using them as an example to disprove your point. Am I preppy? No. I think that anything to an extreme can be lame. You calling them preppy scondrells is just as bad as people calling you a loser. So, don't lecture anyone, kay?

My advice? Stop watching, reading, doing anything that has to do with anime, manga, and video games. Spend time in the real world for once instead of worthless fantasies that will only depress you in the end. Snap out of it.

What of Xanga? Bolt? LiveJournal? And whatever Syk3 and QA go on about...some kind of notebook? They all have their quirks. I'm not condoning MySpace. There are a lot of irresponsible and very annoying people on there.

When I drink too much coke, and eat too much sugar, I get really bouncy and careless. Eventually things like bumping my knee, tripping over my dog, and falling down the stairs occur, which can be very painful.

It is not a trend. There has been homosexuals since ancient times.

Here are some other things to think about: 1. What is the point of this thread? 2. Does this kind of thread pose any kind of purpose? 3. What will be this thread's fate? Those are some other things to think about.
The two great evils facing our world today! Good choices, my friend. It's a personal choice, obviously. It would be idiotic to be prejudice against other people just because of their opinion on premarital sex. Myself? I have an opinion that mirrors Ayokano's. If there the act is part of a serious relationship I see no problem. There's no reason for people to have this urgent need to shed their virginity as soon as possible- but if you feel confident in and love your partner then, well. Have at it.
If two people feel they are ready and really want to 'do it', that's their business. I could care less. More power to them, but if they catch anything, they must try to be responsible enough to deal with the consequences that may occur. Those choices are mine and mine alone.

You're right, I do believe in waiting until you are married and I do not agree with homosexuality. Anyways, true, abstinence may not protect you from some things in the end, but it sure does remove a lot of the chances and probability of getting an STI. Premarital sex is not all it is hyped up to be when it comes down to it.

You know what? I'm nearing the end of my first year of college and I still feel like I am a high school freshmen. Leaving means a new adventure!

It should not matter. Someone is special to me and he is five years older than myself. He is 24 while I am only 19. I think that 14 and below, you are too young to date, regardless of what age the won you like is. Once you are past your teen years, age doesn't really matter when it comes to love, but if a 30 year-old loves a 16 year old, then, that's just wrong.

You know how the old saying goes, "It is as good as you make it." If school is boring, liven it up, doodle, read a fun book, meet a new friend, take a fun class, etc. When I was in high school, I had fun in pottery and a few computer courses. Now that I am in college, I enjoy the computers that they have in the rec room as well as the arcade machines, radio, and pool tables. I like to play pool and beat my friends. I also like to chat on MSN and play Achaea online. Don't mope, act, do something about it. You'll be surprised.

Just in case, here is the actual tag. What the boards use is different than what you actually need for websites like myotaku. You can easily do a search online for various HTML cheatsheets to help you. Anyways, here is the HTML Tag.
