I could care less about my cell phone but I do admit that calling friends on it is fun. I could never live without my computer. It is like my main activity and main social interaction.

That place that Sara mentioned....I went there and now I'm scared

I used to have a dream when I was younger to go to Japan. I still want to go but I am not obsessive over it like I once was.

I would definately go through with it if I were you. There is no better way to learn about a culture than to live there for a while. Sure you may be a little homesick, but think about it. It is a chance of a lifetime. Though, the language barrier may get frustrating, but most should by that time know English. If you go, take pictures for me!

1. If your avatar has a character, what race, age (if applicable) and gender is it? (avatars without characters are neutral or asexual) My avatar is of Gackt. Whom is a male, JPOP singer. He only likes candlelight and is I think, 28 years old. (Too lazy to check his fanbase) 2. Would you say your avatar is masculine, feminine or both? Why? Masculine 3. Does it have mature or childish attributes? Mature, most definately. I've seen several people melt by just looking at him. 4. What gender and race are you? I am female and white. 5. When you meet someone online, unless they specify, do you feel you naturally think of them as white? (Answering yes is not racist - this is much more common than you think) Not always. 6. Do you roleplay? If yes, identify your roleplaying character in terms of race, history, gender and sexual preference (if applicable). yes... Hehe, well, typically I mainly stay with female, but as of late, I have a male character on Lusternia. My female characters are almost always straight, but I am not too sure if I want my male character straight yet. I am still new to the whole male roleplay aspect and I am using Koromir (my male character) to get used to it. In Achaea and Lusternia they have different races than you find anywhere else. Siena- My first character. She is a Mhun which is an off shoot of humans that typically live underground. She is very fast though not very strong. Speed is her main attribute. History-wise, she started out as a good-aligned novice, being a citizen of the city of the light and part of the guild called Sentaari. Sentaari has the ideals of preserverence, benevolence, and wisdom. Siena got fed up with Shallam, the city of light, and moved to a more nuetral city called Hashan. Sentaari has a thing about hunting innocents and that was just what Siena was doing. People of that guild (now called a house) were being mean to her, so she quit the sentaari, became a rogue, and then joined Ashtan, which is kind of like Amsterdam in real life, sorta. Then she joined the House of Ashura, which is a high combat house. That is all so far. Siena is more evil, but her ties to family and her husband in Shallam keeps her from totally going to the evil side. She's only 46 years old. Devi- Is a Rajamala, which is like tiger-like human. She is faster/stronger than Siena but has a sipping and herb eating penalty. History: Nothing too complex compared to Siena. She's only 25. But she is an aide to her father, who is a keeper of the scrolls for the Sentaari. (Like a Librarian) She is a bookworm and loves to learn and quest. Koromir- I haven't played Lusternia enough to understand his attributes, but he is Aslarin, which is a Lion-like human. History: Nothing too much except that he is a novice in Celest. The City of Light in Lusternia. 7. Have you ever been mistaken for another race or gender or have been asked due to the lack of detail in your profile? People always assume I'm Japanese by looking at my screen names and email. I've been thought of as a male once or twice here. 8. Have you mistaken others for being of another race, age or gender? How many times (if applicable)? On Achaea, I thought of one as 30 years old when he was actually 16. Another one I thought of as 26 when he's really 42. 9. What does your online nickname mean or how did you come up with it? I've had Japan_86 since 1997 starting with a yahoo account, then went to Bolt, Hotmail, and then here. It doesn't really mean anything. Just the country, an underscore, and the last two digits of my birth year. 10. Do you think people online tend to correctly guess your age, race or gender most of the time without being told? Not really 11. Do you think people tend to correctly guess your sexual preference without being told? Yep 12. Would you feel threatened if people online knew your age, gender, race or sexual preference? If so, why? Only if I didn't know them for a long time. Some here I've told. Only because I've known them for a year or more. If I never spoken to the person and they immediately ask me for my gender, age, and picture, I usually just block them and not talk to them again. Personality and thoughts are more important than physical attributes. Why come online at all if it is just going to be like in the real world, you know?

Well, I do admit that there is a pair of soccer socks I like to wear while snowboarding. It goes past my knees. It's all black and white, fuzzy in the foot, with gray toes and heels. With all of this talk about socks with designs on them, it makes me feel like I want a pair of those too.

We are all humans, no matter what our appearance, sexual preference, whatever. But there are in fact minorities such as homosexuality and so on. You'll be looked down upon by people different than yourself and you'll just have to get used to it. I am not pulling this out of my bum here. Though I may be straight. I do understand that being misunderstood sucks and you'll just have to grin and bear it. So get used to it.

Panda, if that was the year that I was trying to come, I am glad I didn't. Well, this is/was not a one time thing. It is on going. Well, there is a guy that attends my college. When I am on the computer in the morning he is often sitting there at the handicap computer reading web comics. He smells and looks like he never bathes or wear deoderant either. I almost faint whenever he is near. He almost always is when I go near a computer.

As you already said, there is Azumanga Daioh. If I remember correctly, there is humor in Chrono Crusade. The one anime that I am watching right now that is hilarious would be SuperGals. Which is about a gal named Ran Kotobuki and the things she has to overcome to remain the top girl in Shibuyah, which is the shopping district of Tokyo I think. SuperGals is worth every penny.
I PERSONALLY like ankle socks, with the little heel guard on them, which I believe are made by Hanes and sold in packs at Wal-mart. And since those are the only socks I buy, ALL MY SOCKS MATCH! Buuuuuuuut~ Lately! I've been looking for socks, and can't find any! It's like they all disappeared! So I've been stealing socks from my husband. But don't tell! >_> I also like leg warmers and thigh-highs. Hawt. EDIT: Oh, and Laura, lol, why do you wear socks with shorts and skirts?! You should wear little girlie shoes or flip-flops or something! Not socks!
I wear tennis shoes every day of the year if I can help it

It is bloody. Don't worry. Just, there is humor in there too from what I remember

Some that come to mind would be the end of Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz. Another would be in DBZ where
Goku gets killed by Cell to try and save the earth but ends up being a useless sacrifice.
Was really sad and touching.

Oh my gosh, you got/getting those? You have great taste! I heard that they are all good. I personally know that Peace Maker Kurigane and Chrono Crusade are just awesome! Both are funny, yet have that serious tone when needed. Good choices.

About two years ago when I was collecting canned goods on Halloween, I wore a red bandana with my black beanie on top of that. I was also wearing baggy jeans and a red jacket. I was mistaken as a boy. Of course it was dark out, but it was funny to my friends and I at the time. We were joking about it all throughout the night.

I had a fake tattoo of a dragon over the summer. It lasted three weeks. I had it on my lower back. If I were to get a permanent one, it would be the same as my fake. As you can see here .

There has to be two songs that describe me in a sense to be called my theme song. The first would be "Wind" from the anime, Naruto.
Cultivate your hunger before you idealize. Motivate your anger to make them all realize. Climbing the mountain, never coming down. Break into the contents, never falling down. My knee is still shaking, like I was twelve, Sneaking out of the classroom, by the back door. A man railed at me twice though, but I didn't care. Waiting is wasting for people like me. Don't try to live so wise. Don't cry 'cause you're so right. Don't dry with fakes or fears, 'Cause you will hate yourself in the end. (Repeats) You say, "Dreams are dreams. "I ain't gonna play the fool anymore." You say, "'Cause I still got my soul." Take your time, baby, your blood needs slowing down. Breach your soul to reach yourself before you gloom. Reflection of fear makes shadows of nothing, shadows of nothing. You still are blind, if you see a winding road, 'Cause there's always a straight way to the point you see. Don't try to live so wise. Don't cry 'cause you're so right. Don't dry with fakes or fears, 'Cause you will hate yourself in the end.
Now the second one would be REM's "Losing My Religion."
Life is bigger It's bigger than you And you are not me The lengths that I will go to The distance in your eyes Oh no I've said too much I set it up That's me in the corner That's me in the spotlight Losing my religion Trying to keep up with you And I don't know if I can do it Oh no I've said too much I haven't said enough I thought that I heard you laughing I thought that I heard you sing I think I thought I saw you try Every whisper Of every waking hour I'm Choosing my confessions Trying to keep an eye on you Like a hurt lost and blinded fool Oh no I've said too much I set it up Consider this The hint of the century Consider this The slip that brought me To my knees failed What if all these fantasies Come flailing around Now I've said too much I thought that I heard you laughing I thought that I heard you sing I think I thought I saw you try But that was just a dream That was just a dream
I feel that those two songs are best described as my theme songs mainly because they describe a certain time in my life. They help me to remember the various things from my past.

I had my ears pierced for a while, but they became infected. I had them done by proffessionals. Anyways, I got fed up one day and took them out. I never put them back in and they closed up.

This is awfully scary. Actually, all of the ghosts in the Fatal frame games are scary. Unlike having tons of weapons to make the zombies blow up in Resident Evil, all you have to protect yourself in the fatal Frames series is a measley camera that is suppose to capture their soul and have them not haunt you and kill you in a murderous rampage.

Gifts from Ex -boyfriends / girlfriends
Japan replied to vegeta rocker's topic in General Discussion
Personally, it all comes down to who it is from and what the gift is. To date, there is only one ex-boyfriend I am still very close and good friends with. All the rest I feel are the scum of the earth and not want to ever speak with them or see their faces again. -
You know, I got bored this afternoon and I thought to myself, What would make an interesting topic? Then the answer came to me, socks! We all wear socks, right? We wear socks that are many different shapes and sizes; even colors! What makes a pair of socks the best darn pair in the world? What do you like to do when you are just in your stocking feet? Perhaps post a picture of you wearing your favorite pair? Well, for me, I am just an ordinary girl that prefers the anklet kind of socks. Perfect for showing off the legs when I wear a short skirt or shorts. While wearing just my socks, I like to slide across the kitchen floor. I even like to snuggle down with a good book and a coke in hand. Now how about you?
