Hmm, if I can remember right, I started using the internet way back in the fifth grade. I mostly played arcade games on Cartoon Network and Nick sites. Then went to research, email, message boards, role playing games and instant messaging. So, that about sums it up for my internet history.

answer me this (a question about inspiration and depression)
Japan replied to duStAnDteArS's topic in General Discussion
I've been in a deep depression for about four to five years once. I was suicidal and all. What worked for me was talking with friends. My friend, Charlie helped me through it a bit and he's kept me from ever going back into the depression. Just try and find something you enjoy and count up all of your blessings. Even though that may be hard. But trust me. You should be able to get through it. -
Writing Warning! This thread contains unmarked spoilers!: Harry Potter, Book 6.
Japan replied to Sandy's topic in Creative Works
I've been thinking about the whole Dumbledore/Snape thing.
Maybe Dumbledore trusting in Snape was suppose to be a defect and show that Dumbledore is still human and not some kind of god. He himself did say that he made mistakes from time to time. His trusting in Snape maybe showed that.
Just a thought. -
I don't think what you say is correct. For instance. My name is Laura. I've met many of Laura's in my lifetime thus far. Some are nice, some are popular, and some are absolute brats. I'm just quiet, nice, and keep to myself. Just because they are the same name, doesn't mean that their personalities are too.

Already this summer I've been to a lot of places. At the end of June, I spent a week in Eddyville, Oregon, which is about twenty miles away from Newport, Oregon. (If I remember right) I while I was there, I went to the beach twice, played with sheep on the farm I was staying at, as well as hang out with my friends that came along. The following week, I spent with my sister at her apartment near her university. That was alright. Spent a lot of time playing Super Mario 64 on my N64 and read Eragon. That same weekand after I got back from my sister's, I went to Seattle, Washington for my birthday and see my older brother and his wife. It was kind of boring, but I still had fun. Other than that, I don't think I'll be doing much travelling, which is sad. I may spend another week at my sister's. Who knows. I am perfectly content with staying home.

Thanks. I am really good at looking at something and drawing it. Though it doesn't look quite the same. I can't wait till the next book comes out so I can draw that.

My birthday was yesterday, so my family mostly celebrates that instead of the 4th of July. I can't complain. Though it is nice to celebrate two things instead of just one. The one thing I hate about the 4th is that everyone is away at their lake cabins or out of town. No friends to celebrate with me.

I loved the book, Eragon, so much that I decided to draw the dragon in it. Her name is Saphira. Comments are greatly appreciated.

I met the master of Kuk Sol Won. Some South Korean guy. Met him after the annual tournament when I was in England. Other than that, I've met a couple famous authors, and even the Sheriff of Nottingham! I tea and scones with the Sheriff. He's a very nice man. Other than that, I was close to meeting Prince Charles every now and then...at least I saw him.

I graduated last Saturday. I had fun all senior year with my friends playing video games...good times. The graduation ceremony was boring. There was a beach ball, lots of marbles being thrown underneath the seats, bubbles, and silly string. I guess I can't complain....there were four beach balls at my friend's graduation. It was also hot, stupid...if you ever wanted to see tons of idiots in once place, all you had to do was watch the ceremony.

My cat was put to sleep two days ago, and my dog will be put to sleep this Tuesday. Then I'll be petless. Talk about timing...
I live in a place in england called cambridge. we are famous for our universities (and their rivalry with oxford's) and the boat race. Parts of cambridge are beautiful, but most of it's as ugly as hell. england is crowded, but you get used to it.
When I lived in England, I didn't feel crowded at all, and hey! Cambridge is not ugly period! I loved it there! Nothing can compare to the dirtiness of some of Ireland's cities. I used to live in Lakenheath, England, but that was five years ago. I now live in Spokane, Washington. I hate it here. I'd much rather be back in England. (if it weren't for my friends, I'd definately go back.)

Moving can be hard. I had to do it many times. That's what you have to do when your dad is in the military. It can be hard, but it'll be fun too. You just have to keep your chin up and make the best of it. I had to do it many times and everything turned out fine. Don't mean to discourage you in anyway, but the long distance stuff may not work out in the end. I've made plenty of best friends throughout the years and I lost contact with every single one except for one who is now currently in Kansas. (her dad is in the military too) Just remember to make the best of it. It will always work out in the end. I just moved to Washington state five years ago from England...leaving all of my friends in the process. Right now I have several great friends that I like very much. Everything works out in the end.

Thanks a lot, Delta. You've been very helpful. Though, any information about who were injured, and if any, died?

I am working on a historical fiction short story currently for a class assignment. I was thinking of writing about the Ikedaya Incident of the Shinsengumi. I researched a few hours on the incident, though I need a little more information. Do you guys have any more info about the Ikedaya Incident? If you do, could you help me out? (Things I'd like to know specifically are the casualties that happened and so forth) Thanks a bunch.

38 military bases to be closed in the US
Japan replied to ChibiHorsewoman's topic in General Discussion
Firstly, I'd like to point out that Bush would never, and I repeat never have a war with North Korea. They would easily kill us all if we were to launch some sort of assault at them. This thing called a nuclear warhead would destroy Washington, D.C., NYC, LA, or any other major population center of the USA. I sure hope Bush isn't ignorant enough to do any of that. But maybe you meant "with" Korea, instead of "in" Korea. That would change alot...
Then why would the army send guys over there then? -
38 military bases to be closed in the US
Japan replied to ChibiHorsewoman's topic in General Discussion
The closing of these bases really make me angry. Sure, Fairchild AFB is safe, but what about the others? I do know that the Army recruitment center out in the valley where my history teacher works at is going to be closed. What if they make him quit his job as a teacher and make him either move to either Yakima, WA, or Montana? I would really miss him. I also hope that Scott AFB won't get closed. I've spent nine years of my life there and it be a big loss to see the place I grew up get closed. What if they close Mildenhall AFB in England? I find the idea of closing these bases very itiotic. Just like CWH said, we are in a middle of a war. Including another possible one in Korea. -
My prom is tomorrow night. I am not going either. I am going to play Halo 2 at a friend's house instead. No one asked me anyways.

I never really played either game through entirely. (only because I didn't own the console at the time and I was at a friend's house.) FFX-2 was torture. I stopped playing ever since that time I had to hand out balloons to people. What fun is that? I didn't even want to play it because of the whole 'dress up' idea. The only reason why I tried it was because my friend made me. FFX is a little bit more tolerable, but not by much. The plot is great, and I like Lulu, but I hate Tidus. I hate him with a passion.

Thanks, Ryoko. I use Photoshop at school, so I don't know what the exact version it is. Here are some more of my art, though different than the last post. Here is a drawing that I did for Japanese club a while back. It won that t-shirt design contest. It's called, "Kamikaze Puppy." The kanji on the far left means power, while the other kanji means dog on the head band. http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/14279998/ I was inspired by Juuthena for these next two. The first one is titled, "Forgotten Love," and the second is titled, "The Unforgiven II." The photographer and model are both me. http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/18142610/ http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/18152522/ Your comments are greatly appreciated. ^_^

Awww. Could it possibly be Shaun? Just a wild guess >_>
