The one thing that always gets me through the day is the saying, Nother day, Nother dollar! Also...I can't believe this year is almost over! Can't believe that I've been here over 13 years or so!

I think either his pride reached an all time high...or he is shaking his head in disbelief...

Gaming Got a Question? Have it answered here! (the random question thread)

Has anyone ever played Lineage 2? Is it a good game? -
I see this situation in the same limelight as James for the fact that Hamas is acting like a little whiny child in the supermarket. It's unfortunate that it is going to this much length in order to try to handle the situation. The way I see it is that Hamas is playing as dirty as it can in order to win. Since they know they cannot really win against the strength of Israel, they are doing their namecalling, putting weapons in schools and putting the kids in harms way to make Israel appear like the bad guy. It is also unfortunate that they are getting away with this to some extent by getting the sympathies of folks throughout the world and the fact that antisemitism is the worst it has been since WW2. As we all know, they have had a long history of opposition against each other for several thousand years. It's not going to get sorted out any time soon very likely.

If you want a really good series to get into that has a lot and I mean a LOT of stuff that influence geekdom, make sure you give Jojo's Bizarre Adventure a try. You won't regret it. All dem poses, man!

I woke up to 30 degree weather and 25 MPH windchills this morning and had to be at work at 5:30. Not cool, man! At least I'm off work now and can stay home the rest of the day!

It depends on the anime to be honest with you. If it is something that interests me and didn't start with the manga first I may attempt to watch it. I never got into the naruto anime for that reason. When it comes to bleach I did watch all of it with the exception of one arc. The only long winded anime that I really like though are Marmalade Boy, Monster and Fushigi Yuugi. I guess I'm out of the shonen loop.

It's unfortunate that the times have changed. I really miss those days. I had a lot of fond memories.

Not much has happened with me. I got my AA back in 2010. Since then I've been working part time/full time at McDonalds. (It fluctuated but now I am only getting 28 hours at most a week because McDonalds can't afford the health insurance mandate that Obamacare has enforced.) I still volunteer a lot of time at my church. This summer I joined my city's running club and managed to run a mile in 9:28! Besides that I've been traveling some and even getting into League of Legends again. I visited SomeGuy in June for a week up in Canada. That was a lot of fun. This weekend I just met Allamorph. I intend to go to Sakura con and Canada again as well as adding PAX to my plate this coming year. The chapter of staffing at Sakura con has come to a close too. I went to see Journey and Pat Benatar in concert two summers ago. And this year with my mom homeschooling the eldest nephew, I sort of got dumped on the task of babysitting a lot more while helping teach my nephews their classes. (Youngest is only in preschool for three days a week so I am either giving supplemental lessons or babysitting him, while also helping my mom constantly with doing stuff on her computer.) I guess to some it all up... I am getting kind of crappy hours at work now. I can't find another job. I am running away any possible bouts of depression that may spring up and traveling as much as I can. I am still alive and trying to make the best of it.

Why not come to Sakura con while you're at it? I don't cosplay anymore but I did comission my friend to make me a Sailor Jupiter cosplay for last year and I made myself a Soifon cosplay from Bleach. Fun times!

I'm not sure what I will play after MGS and KH2. Maybe Okami. I must be in an RPG/action adventure kick lately. I did end up playing five hours of League of Legends Saturday night. Don't judge me. >_>

Original red version and yellow version for me please!

Despite the late start and the short season, I have to admit I am pretty excited. I am glad that my team, the St. Louis Blues are doing well this season! Which team is your favorite? Are they doing well?

It is a nice feeling to have, Clurr. I've been poking around lately for a week or more now. It seems all I have time or energy for lately is posting on forums lately. I've been too busy for computer games lately...well correction, I've been enjoying things that don't require a constant click of the mouse lately. It feels great. Writing and drawing FTW!

Unfortunately the server I play on is strictly for those that play Achaea. Hopefully when you start Minecraft you stick with it! I should post some screen shots of my jungle! xD Minecraft aside, I'm enjoying my time playing games like the original Metal Gear Solid and Kingdom Hearts 2. I feel very old, but it is a nice change of pace from the being 'online and connected' constantly with XBox Live. I can play an old game without being stalked! Ha...Yeah I know I could play Halo offline but where is the fun in that?

If there is one thing that I enjoy, it would have to be traveling. When I lived in England, I used to take weekend trips to London all the time. I even went as far as Romania on a service trip. I've been to Gettysburg, Mexico, Canada, and several other places. I would love to go to the Amazon, China/Japan, and Vancouver, B.C. I wouldn't mind heading back to England again sometime as well. I've been thinking about traveling a lot lately with this being my last year of anime conventions. Instead of spending 400 dollars or so to go to Sakura con every year for the same old type thing, why not visit a new place I've never been to, ya'know? I hope to maybe go to Vancouver, B.C or Florida next year. Do you guys like to travel? Where have you been? Are you considering a trip somewhere soon? Have any unforgettable stories from the said trips? Any travel advice? From my experience, when you visit a third world country, do not, do NOT, label yourself a tourist or an American if you are an American. If you do, you will be targeted by pickpockets and what have you. You also want to set a good example of your country too. Example: France hates the USA. Don't add fuel to the fire if you intend to visit their country. I have very many experiences in my travels but there are two that impacted my life heavily. These two were on my service trip to a Hungarian hospital and Romanian catholic orphanage when I was about 12 years of age. We were giving free medical supplies to the doctors and stuffed toys to the mentally disabled grown ups in their care in Hungary. I handed a tickle me elmo to one particular guy who couldn't really talk. He had the biggest grin on his face and made very happy squeals and grunts. He is a guy who had nothing going for him and yet he was the happiest man in the world! (A good lesson in there) The other experience is at the Romanian orphanage. There was this girl who took a liking to me. She was very cute. She lead me into her bedroom to show me all her toys. There was a huge language barrier and yet here we are playing dolls and having a lot of fun. She didn't have much toys to be honest but again she was very happy.

I am preparing to go to Sakura Con in March. I have all my staff found for my office. (yay working internal security!) So much to do! So little time!

The organization will take some time getting used to but I really do like the related thread/tag feature. Now if only the status updates weren't so awkwardly placed...it just seems off to have it cut off without scrolling down.

Every time I activate my Netflix account, I end up stopping it a week later. I don't see the reason to pay for the DVD service so I just get the digital package. But then their streaming sucks for me. Meh. I know there are a lot of fans out there. (Like Shinmaru but it is not for me.) I'd rather go to CrunchyRoll, Hulu, or download my anime. I never really liked Netflix's selection and the dub throws me off.

I'll hop the bandwagon. If you want to add me on Facebook, send me a PM. :D
