Jim, Veil, and Rogue ran towards the East exit. The sentinals were not that far behind and they were calling out,"Halt Mutants!" The sentinals also tried to grab Rogue and Veil with their tenticals. One of them actually grabbed Rogue by her ankle and pulled her down onto the floor. With not thinking, Rogue quickly pulled of her glove and grabbed the tentical that was latched tightly around her ankle and held on. The tentical was dragging her closer and closer to the sentinal's lasor. After thirty seconds of holding on to the tentical, her power finally kicked in. The tentical started to get slower as the grip on her ankle was get less and less. The sentinal finally let go of her leg. Rogue, after seeing this chance got up and flew back to Jim and Veil. "C'mon!!! Let's go!!!" she said as they continued towards the East exit. After what seemed like a long time, they made it to the door. Veil tried to open it, but it was locked. Jim went through the door and tried to open it from outside. No luck. He came back through to the inside were Rogue and Veil frantically tried to find a way out. The sentinals were getting closer. "Guys, move away from the door....I have an idea. Let's pick up this bench and toss it through the door....since it is glass." said Rogue. "Ok," said Jim and Veil together. They picked up the bench that was nearby along with the help of Rogue and threw it at the door. The glass broke easily. They rushed outside. By this time, the sentinals were just behind them. A big rush of air rustled Rogue and Veil's hair. The X-Men jet arrived. It landed not too far away and the door opened. Someone started to come out...

Here is some more wood work of mine. I made it by using the scroll saw and it took me two weeks to finish. I made it for my sister for a birthday present. I just thought that I would post it here for you to enjoy and comment. Please take a look and tell me what you think.

Rogue, who was looking at clothes in Hot Topic, heard a commotion in the main hall towards one of the exits. She ran to where she heard the noise and there was a sentinel acting Jim and other students from the school. She quickly grabbed her cell phone out of her backpack and called Professor X. He picked up his phone and replied, "Hello?" "Professor!! This is Rogue!! There are sentinels here at the mall attacking some of the students. I need help!!" "Alright! I'll find someone to go there as soon as possible to assist you. In the meantime, try and hold those sentinels off." "Yes professor, understood." With that last sentence, Rogue hung up the call on her cell, and put it in her backpack. She ran towards the attacking sentinels to help her students and friends out till someone arrives to help her out.

Zanith, Rogue, and Jim talked till 3:30 in the morning in Zanith's room. Both Zanith and Jim were in awe of the night's events. They wanted to talk more, but Rogue told them that they had school tomorrow and that they must get to bed. They finally did go to bed and Rogue slowly walked to her own room. Though she didn't show it, she was a bit nervous about what Professor X said. She couldn't stop thinking of what the Professor said. His words kept on playing over and over in her head. She made it to her room and opened and closed the door behind her. After dressing into her black night gown, she plopped down on her twin sized bed and fell asleep.

I watch the anime and I also read the manga as well. I love the anime just as much as the manga. I guess I like the anime more than the manga. That's only because of Naruto. Naruto's Japanese voice is fun to listen to and he is twice as much funny than he is in the manga. I guess that also applies to Kakashi, Sasuke, and Sakura as well.
-
I would like a Naruto banner please. I would like it to have my screen name on it somewhere and I would also like the chorus of the Naruto song [iWind on it. I would like it to have a blue backround with Kakashi and Naruto on it too. Here are the lyrics for the chorus. "Don't try to live so wise. Don't cry 'cause you're so right. Don't dry with fakes or fears, 'Cause you will hate yourself in the end."

Anime GTO (Great Teacher Onizuka) Has anyone seen this?
Japan replied to Domon's topic in Otaku Central
I've seen a lot of the episodes and I read about five books of the manga. I hate the anime. That's only because I don't really like the kind of expressions that the artist used. I like the manga better because he doesn't use the expressions as much. It is very funny and I find myself laughing a lot. -
I would hate to have American switch the manga around to the leleft to right formatt. It just isn't authentic. I guess I am that way in a lot of ways...like with not wanting to eat Asian food without chopsticks. Anyways, when they keep the manga authentic, the story and art would appear as the artist attended it to be. Nothing would be lost. Also, reading manga from, right to left, gives me something to do that is different than everyone else. Like during silient sustained reading during class. While others will be reading left to right, I would be reading right to left. I like to be different.

I can't really remember all that much when I first started to read manga. I think I started like two years ago starting off with Gundam Wing Vol. 1. After that, I bought random manga here and there. Last August, I bought Kare Kano Vol. 1 and each month I've been collecting the next volume of it. I now have 1-7 of Kare Kano. I also have several issues of Shonen Jump, some naruto, chobits, gundam, and shamen king. I love my manga.
Well, Sandland is replaced by Hikaru No Go. And Rurouni Kenshin is yet to be released on SJ. I'm very creapt out how Naruto ended in February issue. Naruto is mad beyond beliefs. Hikaru No Go is very enjoyable. Though, why did the title on the latest issue was called, "The Game of Life and Death". Though Hikaru never played a game. But he just advised a kid to movve 1 point up and a bunch of people b**ched about it. Anyways, I'm psyched about March's issue. Can't wait till Naruto gets in to action.
My last post was from long ago. So I fo know know that Shonen replaced Sandland....finally. I still don't like One Piece, and I am waiting for the DBZ section to get to the Cell Games. The cell games is my favorite part of all of the DBZ show. As for Naruto, I cannot wait to find out what will happen next. Though, I think that I already have March's issue of Shonen Jump. Yeah, I think I do. I subcribe to SJ, so that's why. I am very excited to read the next issue. Naruto keeps on getting better each time I read it. Not only is Naruto getting really interesting, but also Shamen King as well.
The competition thing to find who is the next Shamen King is coming in April's issue. ^__^
Shamen King is really funny. Hikaru No Go is very awesome indeed. It is making me want to learn how to play Go.

I really enjoyed this anime movie. It shows how much the Japanese were so in tuned with nature long ago. I find it really interesting. I like the forest spirits the most. What do you guys think?

Though I hardly watch tv anymore, I do like this show. It is funny yet silly at the same time. It isn't as idiotic as spongebob can get at times. Though the crimson chin is pushing it a bit. *shudder* It is an all around good show.

Anime Do you use anime/manga for school projects or assignments?
Japan replied to Marron347's topic in Otaku Central
I did a whole speech on it last year for English. Also, last semester, I used Kenshin pictures and an anime wallpaper for my powerpoint presentation on the book, Shogun by James Clavell. Everyone thought that I was obsessed after I finished my speech and many thought that my powerpoint presentation was very cool and neat looking. -
Animes I've been recommended: My Neighbour Totoro Trigun Cowboy Bebop Zone of the Enders Excel Saga Even though I've not seen Akira I'm really not that interested in watching it. I know it's highly acclaimed, but I just don't like the look of the animation. It's a shallow reason, I know, but I can't enjoy an animation as much if I don't like how it looks.
Trigun, Cowboy Bebop, and Excel Saga are wonderful anime. I have seen Akira three times and I don't like it too much. Though the explosions are awesome, I feel that there is no plot to it. The akira manga are way better.

Hmmm, let me see. There are quite a few that I want. Lain- I have only gotten the chance to see like 7 episodes. It is very strange, but that's why I like it. I also want to figure out how all this strange scenes that I view to make since. Lain is just one of those deep thought kind of anime. Neon Genesis Evangelion- There are only the first two DVD for rent at my local rental store of this. I already saw those. I want to see more. I really like the characters and I also enjoy the music. Asuaka, Rei and Shinji are my favorite characters thus far. Gravitation- I own like the first eight episodes of this and I fell in love with it right away. I think that it is really funny. My friend burned me those eight episodes from a fan sub site. It is just sweet and funny. Yuki is cool.

I read like the first three of the manga. I thought that the story development was getting even better every time I read a volume. I don't really have a favorite character, though Kira is cool. Once I have the money, I want to buy the whole fifteen books. I just have to finish collecting Kare Kano first.

At first, I thought that the new look was a tad bit annoying. After spending a couple of hours on the new Version 7 of OB, I am quickly starting to warm up to it. I feel that it is way more organized than any of the other past versions. I feel that the combining of the gaming forums and the anime forums were a good idea. A lot less space would be used, and a lot less time modding the different forums too. I actually don't miss the picture forum at all. In fact, I am glad that it's gone. I really like the side panel menu. It certainly is useful and makes things easier. I also really enjoy the profile layout very much. ^_^ I'll be another one to go against the crowd. I feel that you both did a good job, Justin and James on the seventh version of OtakuBoards. That also includes Desbreko, Charles, Semjaza, and others that helped to test out the beta version and reorganize the threads by renaming then, merging them, and moving them. Good Job!!

I was watching the news the other day and then a story came on about the political parties and how Bush is not a very good president and what not. The people who are democratic and are trying to win the election with their party to run for president are really making Bush look bad. It seems that the democratc party knows that they can't win the presidental election by merits alone. They have to put down their competitors in order to win. That method of competing isn't exactly fair. It just seems like a dirty tactic to use. If Bush wasn't the president, I bet that Sadaam would still be out there hiding. I feel that Bush is doing his job well. Do you agree with me about all of this, or have you noticed what the people who are running as the democratic representive for the presidential election are doing?

Actually, in Japanese, anime translateds into the word, cartoons. Anything animated is a cartoon...whether you like it or not. I do feel that semjaza is right. People belonging to the older generations tend to look down on cartoons. I believe that people like my mom and dad tend to think that anime and other cartoons are for little kids because they were brought up that way. I do agree with you though that anime is not just for kids. There are tons out there that are really action packed, gorey, and sexual.

I really like this banner. It has good colors. I also like the images that you used. The only thing that I don't particularly like is the animation you used for the screen name. I feel that it would appear nicer if the screen name was just there with no animation effects at all. Other than that, awesome job!

Since you guys seem so enthused, here is another. It is a drum. It is made up of three pots put together and deer skin on top. I sounds awesome when I play on it. Oh yeah, the Mario teapot is on the floor right before the stairs.
-
Here are some more of my pottery. This one in particular is a Mario teapot. I spent about a half of a month making it. Comments? Also, if you reply, I will post more pottery pictures of mine.

Strawberry Eggs is a pretty good anime. Not only is the series great, but also, the plot and characters are awesome, and the series is about 12-14 episodes total. It is mostly about this guy that wants to become the PE teacher at this all female staff school. Since they didn't allow him to teach because of his sex, he cross dresses as a female and gets a job there. It is funny. It may seem dirty, but it actually isn't. It is also very sweet and sad. What do you guys think? Have you seen this fan sub before?
