Cyborg 009

I've seen quite a few episodes of Cyborg 009. Though I enjoyed it a lot. I feel that there are better ones out there. I loved the plot. The only thing I didn't like were the character designs. One of the cyborgs has a nose that dominates his whole face. heh
2. There are plenty of songs that annoy me. Most of them rap and hip hop. There is this one song in particular that really annoys me. You probably already heard this song like a billion times. It is Nelly's song, "Hot in Herre" There is really no point to the song, except this message. "It is hot in here.....take your clothes off. I am a pervert!!" :drunk: :therock: That song is really stupid. I only like rap that makes sense. Rap music that talks about something other than sex and parties.
3.
Originally posted by Alastor My point is why spend 12 years for nothin. I mean you only need basic addition and subtraction, adding and multiplication skill to be able to count your money. And thats the only thing i find useful to count.
What about Physics? Geometry? Algebra? I do hate math, but I know that I will learn something from it. Algebra helps you find the missing numbber. Geometry helps you to theorize and unstand how things are the way they are. Like, why a parallelogram is a parallelogram. Physics are important because they help you understand speed and gravity. If you want to be an professional athlete or an astronaut, you need Pyshics and other types to help you out. Though I hate math, I realize that math is important to everyday life. Something you don't really understand yet. You need a whole lot more than just the basics of math to live like and make a living.
Who needs science anyway?
Science is also very important. If you didn't have science, then you couldn't understand how the earth and the rest of the universe works. You wouldn't understand what the heck the weatherman is talking about when he gives you the forcast on tv. If you were poisoned by an acid, you wouldn't know what kinds of things around the house are bases. Heck, you wouldn't even know that base neutralizes an acid.
English after the 7th-8th grade you basically know how to talk good enough so why the extra 4-5 years.
As Transtic already pointed out, if you think that English after middle school is enough, just look at your post quality. "To talk good enough," isn't proper English. I think that you do need to take the English classes in high school. If you didn't have good English skills, then, you can't post here.
And I know I not the only person who is tired of getting up at 6 A.M to go to a stupid high school that I don't even care about.
Well, if you don't like getting up at six AM, you better get used to it by the time you graduate. After you graduate, you have to get a job. A lot of jobs, you have to wake up early to get there. In high school, they may let in you in with the a few late passes, but in the real world at a job, if you show up late a couple times, you are fired. That's it. You are jobless. Let me tell you something. If you don't like to get up early, then you are in big trouble. My mom, with her job, she has to go in at five in the morning. Yes, five! In closing, school is not a waste of twelve years of your life. It is very important. It gears you up for the real world. Employers out there want smart educated people to work for them. They don't want people that don't know much skills and also people who are not in good spirits. If you ever plan to have a social job, like a store manager, you need to be friendly with the customers, yet educated enough for the other part of your job description. Maybe someday, you will be mature enough that school and it's subjects, like science, math, and English, are really important. Not only do you need to be well educated for the job of your choice, but your job is the key to your survival. Job equals money, money equals food, food equals full tummy. It is very simple. You got to try and realize that school is important and it is also fun. Though that depends on how you interpet school and the classes you're in.
4. I have read the first two books of the Ceres manga. It is pretty cool, though I feel that it is a bit slow at first to get the story going. I believe that people should give the anime a another chance before they shun it. I thought that Ceres was boring at first, but after reading the second book of the series, I now love Ceres very much.
5. I like it even better now. It has a little more depth too it now and it has an excellent cliff hanger. I cannot wait for the next chapter.
6. I love it I!! love it!! I love it!! I can't wait for more!! It is sweet, yet all action and sci-fi packed. I kept on thinking of a Star Trek surrounding. I don't know why. Very very good! My biatch writes good stories.:babble:
7. I only have like three favorite t-shirts. One was a mighty ducks t-shirt from a hockey game, then there was my glow in the dark Johnny Quest t-shirt. There was a big 'Q' on it and that 'Q' glowed in the dark. My latest favorite t-shirt is the kind with the sarcastic remarks on the front at Hot Topic. This one shirt in particular, I really enjoy. It has the remark, "Keep Staring...I might do a trick." The third shirt makes me crack up laughing every time I see it. heh
8. I was wonder if there were any other people out there like me that participates in the ongoings of stage crew and tv production. I've been working in stagecrew a lot the past couple years. When you are in stage crew, you participate in all the behind the scenes stuff during plays and tv shows. I prefer stage construction, props, and and other set jobs. Building and props are just my favorite things. The only thing that I do not tend to like very much are working on the sound and light boards. It is just boring to sit up in the tech booth for many hours at a time. Other than stagecrew, I also volunteer at my local Comcast TV station. I work camera for all the public works shows. television shows put on cable by everyday people. I've been working as a camera controller for a year now. It is a lot of fun. Once this summer comes around, I am going to get certified as a graphics tech head. Though I don't really like the tech stuff for drama plays, I like the tech head jobs for television. These two kinds of things are what I enjoy doing. Have you ever done anything like this? If you do, do you enjoy it?
9. I prefer the second avatar and the fourth banner best. The first and third avatar seem too busy, and the fourth banner is the best view of the LAN party.
10.
Originally posted by Myth Im wondering if Im alone in thinking this. What is the point of living if your just going to die? People say "Live your life to the fullest," why bother? You wont remember it when your dead. One thing has struck me, every breath you take is killing you. You need air to live, but by every breath your slowly dieing. Im not asking this to be "Morbid" I just want to know if anyone else has ever wondered. "Whats the point?"
Well, I tend to believe, in a religious point of view, that we were placed on this earth for a purpose. Have you ever done anything in your life that helped other people in a good way or another? I believe that us Christians were put on this earth to grow in our relationship with God. We were also here to help bring others to believe in Jesus. I would rather live an exciting life than a boring one, wouldn't you? Living life to the fullest gives you a chance to live an exciting life. I also believe that there is a heaven and a hell. After you die and leave this world, you don't really die. Your body stops living and deteriorates, yes, but I believe that your soul lasts forever. Depending in whether you believe that Jesus died and rose again depends where you end up. Only God knows where you will end up after you die.
11. Well, I do have one story. This happened when I was in second grade. I think the year was 1995. My best friend was a girl named Emily. She was three years younger than me. It all started when Emily and I decided to play house. I put her in a todder stroller that you zip up on the outside so that the toddler doesn't get out. Anyways, since the stroller was too heavy for me to push down the handles to make the front wheel go up, I held the handle bars with my hands underneath it. We were walking along side the side walk and I decided to go up and down this one empty steep driveway to get some momentum. I tripped while running. I fell and the stroller handle bars came down too with me. my hands were trapped underneath the bars and I was dragged down the steep driveway.I could see the blood staining the cement as I went along. I finally got my hands out from under the bars and I started to run to my house which wasn't that far away. I then heard a scream. I turned around. Emily was still in the stroller and couldn't get out. A white truck came around the corner straight at her. Despite the extreme pain I was in, I ran out in front of the car and pulled her out of the street. I saved my best friend's life that day. After that incedent, I had to dip my hands in a pan of hydrogen proxide every day and put on new dressings. The the proxide was painful! It made me scream and wince each time. It took a full month for my hands to totally heal and in order for me to use them again. Now, I still have scars on my each and every one of my knuckles. They remind me of what I did for my friend, and how I was brave.
12. This one time last year, my friends put random food in a bit of chocolate milk at lunch. The ingredients were a wide variety of stuff....from ketchup to left over pudding. Whatever was left from our lunches. They made me try it. It was very nasty!!
13.
Originally posted by sakura13 Both of those ROCK!Why would anyone hate them???
For one thing, SD gundam has poor animation. I feel that it is an eyesore compared to other Gundam series. Second, the plot isn't very well done. I believe that the anime was made to make fun of the other series too. G gundam wasn't entirely bad....when they first aired the show that is. After the second and third time, it got really annoying and boring. Anime is only good when it isn't overly played to death.
14. Actually, I don't really like Gundam Heavy Arms. After it runs out of bullets, it isn't much use. The appearance of it is alright too. I just prefer Wing Zero and Death Scythe the best. Heavy Arms just doesn't appeal to me that much.
15. Gundam Wing is thankfully isn't coming back to Cartoon Network in the US. It was an ok show, but not the best Gundam series out there. They won't be bringing it back. Why? For one, they played the gundam series to death when it was on. Cartoon Network would rather play series like Dragon Ball Z and SD Gundam. That's just how it is.
16. My first job was like three or four years ago. I worked as a teacher assistant for this one mentally disabled class for summer school. It lasted for about a month. It was hard work, but a lot of fun. I had to feed them their snacks and change their diapers, yes diapers. The feeding and the changing of the diapers were the worst. They were disgusting and very messy. I won't go into details though. There was also this one kid that smelled too. Although there were a few mishaps, it was nice too. Every day, we would go on walks around the block. I got to pull the wagon. The two little boys, who were around the ages of four and six, rode in it. They were so cute! Other than taking them for walks, we played with the kids. We played with all the toddler toys you could imagine. That, was a lot of fun. This job also gave me quite a few headaches. After hearing some of the kids cry and have tantrums, and also the smell of a lot of baby powder...I felt like I wanted to scream. *sigh* All this work was really for nothing....sort of. It was a volunteer job. At least, I got some job experience and I also got the chance to help those poor kids out. My wallet was just as empty as it was before the job, but I learned quite a few useful things.
Originally posted by Molleta I still, to this day do not like Meryl's character.
I do not like Meryl much either. She is just too serious. She needs to lighten up.
Originally posted by Molleta Enter Nicholas D Wolfwood, and there is now plenty of grey. Wolfwood saved the show for me. His dry wit and seriousness set his off from the rest of the silly and over-reactionary characters in the show.
Not that I don't love Vash or anything, I do agree with you. Wolfwood always brought something to each episode that the other characters didn't. He was funny yet serious at the same time.
I cried when he died
He was that great of a character.
18. I though that since this is the first time I have ever been in this forum for the length of time I've been here, I should post a thread in honor of the occasion. Though I do not own a Nintendo 64 console, I played a few games before. There is one game that I absolutely love and never tire of. The game is none else, but the original Mario Kart game for the N64. I prefer to race with Wario than any other the other characters from Mario. Partly, because, he is the only guy I am good with. The tracks that I enjoy are mainly the Rainbow one, and Wario stadium. The Wario stadium track reminds me of some Moto X event. Anyways, what do you think of this game compared to Mario Kart Double Dash for the gamecube console? What are you're favorite tracks, and who do you prefer to race as?
19. That is very good, PT. I like it a lot....it made me hold my breath. I thought it had a very funny ending. Definately your kind of writing style. Well done!
20. Almost everyday I get this as well. Some days I talk a lot with my friends and other days, they don't say a word to me. It all depends on what kind of day it is and what mood everyone is in. When I do get ignored, I try to make the best out of it. Like at lunch, if they don't talk to me, say hi, or don't notice me at all, I just go to the Japanese classroom and eat there, or I put my headphones on and turn on some music, blocking them out. I am pretty anti social with people I don't really know and I am very shy. Those elements are a couple of factors why it makes it easy for people to ignore me. Also, when I don't really feel like eating lunch, I just walk around till the bell rings. I do that a lot to to waste time before class starts as well. On the bus too, I don't talk much at all. I just keep my headphones blaring and I look out the window. I either think or daydream during that time, or don't think at all. I am really used to be ignored, though it does hurt and I feel lonely at times. The rest of the time, I don't get ignored. I either get teased by unfortunate people, or my friends include me in the conversation or the activity that they are doing at that time. Getting teased by people who don't know better isn't that great, but when my friends talk to me and include me in their conversations at lunch or on the bus is really great. To tell you the truth, being ignored can be a blessing just as it is a curse. People who don't really like you would ignore you and you would be saved from either a black eye or hurt feelings for that day, or as you stated, your friends would leave you out and make you feel lonely. As I said before, it all depends on the day and time. Like two days ago, my friends ignored me at lunch and on the bus, and this girl in my science and English class was mean to me. Today though, that girl in two of my classes didn't bother me, and my friends talked to all through lunch and on the bus. We had a good time. You can't expect every day to go perfectly. If everyday were to go exactly your way all the time, that would just not be normal. Hopefully, your day will be better tomorrow. Just don't lose hope.

22. My preferred types of communication are silient and written. I also really enjoy spoken communication as well. I only like spoken communication when I am with someone I am very comfortable with. Since in real life, I am very very shy, silient communication is very helpful. I don't speak much when I am a group and by silient communication, I can interact with the group in some ways. Another form of communication that I prefer is the form, written. When I chat online, that is a form of written communication. Also, I love to write a lot and I am great at it. I like to write stories, keep journals, and everything. The last form that I like is the form, spoken. Though, as I said, I only like to speak over the phone or speak with someone in real life when I am very comfortable with them. Otherwise I get very uncomfortable and nervous. Those are the only forms that I prefer. They are actually the only ones that I ever use...heh
23. I believe that, other than Gundam 0080th MS Team, Gundam X is the best Gundam series of all time. It is interesting and you never know what's going to happen next. I feel that I can relate to the main character, Garoad in many ways throughout the series. What do you guys think? What are your thoughts on this series compared to other Gundam series?
24. I think that the show is enough. I hate Spongebob. No point to it really. It is annoying. So, when the movie comes out, I doubt I will see it. At least you guys are happy.
25. erm....well, I don't. You are a great friend. I miss you already, though I am talking to you on AIM right now...lol...Anywho, though you are rather open at times, I really enjoy your crazyness in the chats I make and just talking to you in general. You are a very intelligent lady. I shall miss you greatly and I can't wait to have you come back. Six months seems like a long time, but it will go fast. Just don't forget us while you are alway, ok? Just remember there will always be a place in my heart for you. You are an awesome friend. Good luck!!
