1.
I would recommend Soul Eater to anyone who enjoys anime. It's one of those series that only comes along every so often and manages to win on every level. It's one of the best titles I've seen in ages. Definitely check it out if you have the chance.
Thanks to this scene I will have to watch Soul Eater.
2. I alternate from MUDS like Achaea and Imperian to roaming around on the TheOtaku chat. I am finally back from a long absence myself. I can never really part or commit here it seems. I am not sure how long I will be here for now. I guess that since it is November I feel like posting more. I mostly just chill in TheO chat and marathon anime, haha. I also cosplay and spend a lot of time on DeviantArt and facebook. I am a part of a couple cosplay groups in town and the last big thing we did was a potluck/ice skate hetalia photo shoot. We might start our own cosplay magazine too, time will tell.
3. Hasn't Xbox learned anything about the PS2 Eyetoy? I tried the eyetoy out and it was incredibly frustrating and it grew tiring rather quick. I prefer to have my normal controller thanks. Also, when I play the Wii, I use the normal controller when I can as well. I am sure that there are quite a few people excited for this but it is just not for me.
4. I had a very odd dream this morning. I was going to dinner with my family and some foreign guy. I was going to dress nice to impress him so I decided to change clothes. Everything I tried on wouldn't fit and they ended up leaving without me. This is why I hate dreaming.
5.
I'm almost done with my list of series, so it would be good to get started on something new. I mostly like comedy, drama, or a good romance.
Gravitation!!! It has 13 episodes, great music, romance, drama AND IT IS A COMEDY :D
6. I am trying to concentrate more on my college class rather than watch anime. Keyword here is 'trying.' I am doing a lot better than last quarter anyways. It took me about two months to catch up from where I was in Bleach to current. (started at 150) I also marathon-ed Kaichou Wa Maid Sama and Getbackers. I hope to rewatch all of Sailor Moon before Christmas which will be an amazing feat in and of itself. I am considering whether to work on Hetalia, Black Butler, or Soul Eater. Thoughts? As for manga, I am considering catching up on Bleach and Vampire Knight.

HOTD

I only watched the first episode out of curiousity but I dropped it soon after. Shinmaru's tweets scared me from watching any more. I am not that much into fan-service type anime anymore anyways.
8. I am not a big coffee drinker anymore. I only have caffeine on rare occasions now. I am pretty picky about my coffee when I have it though. I only really like it black when my dad makes a pot at home. He mixes two different kinds of coffee to make his own special blend and it is very yummy. When I go out, I like to have what my school cafe calls a polar bear. It is a latte with skim milk, coconut, white chocolate and vanilla. It is very tasty. I love to have coffee when I need to stay up late and study.
9.
Sadly I gave up on the DMC franchise after playing the second game.
There's your problem right there. The second game was HORRIBLE and I feel that it should never be played! I never really saw pictures of the new DMC game until just now and I fully agree with what my friends have said. I am sorry that the head of the project who styled Dante after himself is getting such bad feedback. However, it is difficult to entirely change a character's appearance after four games. I did not sense any 'badassery' that I know and love from the first and third DMC games. (Sorry I haven't played four so I am just going off my knowledge of what I know.) It feels like all of the DMC flavor has been sucked out from it. It is all foriegn to me. I do not think I will like this game.
10. This is very helpful! I did remember doing this sort of thing in Photoshop CS2 over a year or two ago and have forgotten. This is a neat skill to have for not only graphic design but photography as well. I can't wait to try this when I get home.
11. I am very excited for this as well. For once there is a .hack series that has great detail and graphics! I hope that the story pans out to be as great as the animation. It will be sad to see this franchise die down, but it would be neat if it went out with a BANG!
12. I considered getting one this year. I got one two years ago. The vaccine seems to be in short supply though because I tried to get one on base this morning and the tech refused to let me get one. (She wanted to give me the live virus through my nose.) I told her no thanks and left. I will take care of myself and take my chances. It is not like I am one of those people who go without a jacket when it is forty degrees Fahrenheit out.
13. can't wait for winter! Snooowboardinggggg

14. It all depends on what you are looking for. Canon has a lot of the new knick knacks but Nikon has been known to have a lot of stability in their cameras. Nikon is quickly catching up on those said knick knacks that the canon owns. I am not sure about the other type of brands. I use a Nikon D60 myself. It can be a bit frustrating at times but overall I really love it.

16. Boooooris <3 Cool to see you guys pulling off!
17. I am so glad that you like them, PR! Here are a few more music videos that appeal to me. I really appreciate the lyrics too. I mean, what good is a music video if the lyrics aren't any good right? So here are four more MVs for your viewing pleasure. This first one is another song by the Verve. I really love this band. This time it is the song called Freshmen. Amaaaazing song. I know it by heart like Wonderwall. There may not be too much going on the music video but I really love it for the simplicity. I feel that the simplicity works for this song because of how depressing it is. TRACK TITLE: FRESHMEN | ARTIST: THE VERVE | MATURE: NO | COUNTRY OF ORIGIN: ENGLAND http://www.youtube.c...h?v=sVNAp1C8LIw This music video from REM is really complex. I swear, every time I watch this, I notice something new about it. I love his dancing too! TRACK TITLE: LOSING MY RELIGION | ARTIST: REM | MATURE: NO | COUNTRY OF ORIGIN: USA http://www.youtube.c...zXIQ5vw&ob=av2n Another artist comes to mind. She has very visual music videos and heart wrenching lyrics. Yeah I'm a 90's freak. This music video and song is what started it all for the young singer. She is an amazing poet and performer. I love all of her music but this song is by far my most favorite. TRACK TITLE: WHO WILL SAVE YOUR SOUL | ARTIST: JEWEL | MATURE: NO | COUNTRY OF ORIGIN: USA http://www.youtube.c...h?v=-LukEq643Mk This is the last song for this post I promise! This is time it is from the 80's. A big big classic music video. Love it! TRACK TITLE: TAKE ON ME | ARTIST: A-HA | MATURE: NO | COUNTRY OF ORIGIN: NORWAY http://www.youtube.c...h?v=djV11Xbc914
18. For my first post in this thread I feel I should start off with the first music video that I remember watching when I was a very very young girl. Whenever I did watch MTV this song seemed to play. It will remain special in my heart. TRACK TITLE: MONEY FOR NOTHING | ARTIST: DIRE STRAIGHTS | MATURE: NO | COUNTRY OF ORIGIN: ENGLAND http://www.youtube.c...h?v=2KZLojGm7s0 I lived in England when this music video came out. Man it was very very popular. I give this video props for being one of the memorabilias from my stay in England. TRACK TITLE: BITTERSWEET SYMPHONY | ARTIST: THE VERVE | MATURE: NO | COUNTRY OF ORIGIN: ENGLAND http://www.youtube.c...h?v=FMnMwDmWCBM Oasis has been a big part of my life. Whenever I hear this song I envision the MV in my head. TRACK TITLE: WONDERWALL | ARTIST: OASIS | MATURE: NO | COUNTRY OF ORIGIN: ENGLAND http://www.youtube.c...h?v=MS_INnNy7DQ Muse, Muse, Muse. You are very unique in everything you do and I love you for it. I really love how this particular video has a very fun artistic narrative with it. Muse never ceases to amaze me. (EDIT: LOL Wow, amazing screen capture there YouTube.) TRACK TITLE: KNIGHTS OF CYNDONIA| ARTIST: MUSE | MATURE: YES | COUNTRY OF ORIGIN: ENGLAND http://www.youtube.c...1Q&feature=av2n I suppose that England is just that freaking awesome. I cannot wait for when I can post again. I have a feeling that I am going to spend a lot of time in this thread.
19. Took this during the one snowfall we had this past year. I really like it. It is just some college girls going to class. This was for a photo assignment. I had to promote a product so what better than to take pictures of Converse. My coworker let me borrow them and hooooooo boy they were smelly >_< This is the lead singer from the band called Pillar that I took last summer at Creationfest '08. I was in the mosh pit all weekend and I was pretty lucky to get that shot. I apologize for the DA watermark. This thread may give me motivation to pick up my Nikon D60 again.
20.
That's very admirable indeed. May I ask why you have decided to give up bread and pasta? Actually, I don't understand the red meat and citrus either.
That is mostly doctor's orders. They don't know what is wrong with my digestive system so I have a strict diet plan that I must follow.
21. My main bad habit that I need to kick is never getting enough sleep and staying up way to late. I really need to fix that to improve my running.
22. When I went to Sakura Con 2010 this past April, one of my room mates was a guy training to become an Navy Seal. Ever since then, I have been pretty obsessed with running and eating the best diet to enhance my performance and get in better shape. At first my main focus was to lose the weight but now it is gaining weight in muscle mass and working on my endurance and speed. This is what I do for my workout every week. Monday- Cross train (lift weights, crunches, suicides) Tuesday - Run three miles Wednesday - Cross train, walk 2 miles Thursday - Run four miles Friday - Cross train (lift weights, suicides, up and down the stairs) Saturday - Run three miles Sunday - Rest I gave up soda and almost all greasy food. I am trying to give up caffeine but it is very hard. I don't eat any bread, red meat, citrus, or pasta. I live on veggies, chicken, fish, and bananas/milk. Are you guys doing any workouts to improve your health this summer? If so, what? Also, any experienced runners out there with advice?
23.
It's not naive at all! If you think about it, does anyone ever talk? Sure you get subscriptions here and there but my art never gets noticed because it seems no one cares anymore to even comment. I say thank you to them for favoriting on my art piece and they never reply and it pisses me off. The main thing about that is that they don't show new art on the front page, they show most active which ticks me off too. MyOtaku isn't even working anymore, so he didn't really keep it around. More so, TheOtaku went downwards after they made the changes for TheOtaku to be the main site. So many people hated it, and still hate it. I especially despise the stupid, Worlds. They're not as great as your own special page like on MyO. I just think they should've kept MyO, make improvements on it here and there. And keep TheO for new art, news, cards, comics, writings and etc..
Generally, if you have friends who notice your art/posts, no doubt they will comment. I am certainly not very popular on TheOtaku but I have my group of friends that I met through Chat that comment on my stuff. They are really neat people. When you comment saying thank you, you expect everyone to comment back saying you're welcome? Adding something that you spent a lot of time working on to their favorites should be apparent enough that they appreciate your stuff. When you click on an art section, there are a few different options. Sort by freshness or sort by active. You can go as recent as the last twenty-four hours or up to the past year if it tickles your fancy. MyOtaku is still up and kicking. Sure, new members since VV cannot make their own MyOtaku page. However they can comment and sign guest-books. I've joined MyOtaku like two days after it went live. I was a pretty active user of it. I've seen the design freedoms overly abused with over excessive animated .GIFS, and bright pink size one font over a lime green background and only one site. With worlds, you can have more than one. You and your friends can post on it (for role playing, shrines, clubs), and it is simplistic. As I have stated in this thread before, you will learn that simplicity makes a successful web site in a web design class. I noticed with MyOtaku that it was a huge popularity contest. I personally feel that that kind of atmosphere really mellowed out with the launch of version vibrant. I also prefer TheOtaku as it is now. I am no longer in high school so I don't have the time to go to multiple sites. I can just go to my backroom on TheOtaku, check if I have any new comments or private messages, and check for friend updates. After all that, I'm done. TheOtaku is awesome the way it is now. If Version Vibrant never came, I probably wouldn't of come back to the network like I did.
24. Sunday was the warmest day that Eastern Washington had yet. Other than that, it has been sunny, rainy, stormy just about every day.
