Crazy Ace

This may sound corny but it is a justifiable question. When we are younger our environment and whatever we come in contact with can influence us in different ways. This can be applied to television. For me as a science and technology buff two series that caught me are Gundam Seed and .Hack//Sign. Seed opened my eyes to genetic engineering and the enhancement of humans may not be in the near the magnitude of that of seed, but some time in the future there is a great chance that some sort of genetic improvement of humans. Virtual Reality got me with .Hack. I already am a novice game designer but .Hack kind of given me a little incentive to proceed with game design on a higher level when I am done with school so that hopefully some time in the future I can be a part in creating some sort of VR gaming experience.

You guys have it good. There are no amusement parks where I live (The Bahamas) and it really blows. I always wanted to go to Six Flags or Bush Gardens. I guess when I go to college I will have my chance then, or when I go on a vacatiion destination that is in the area of an amusement park

My obligations to school and my other activities have already messed up my OB time. I didn't think it was going to happen but it did. This is my seconf summer on the OB and will probably be the only time in a while I will be on. As for next school year I have my BGCSE exams to do and I will do my SAT's . That's alot of work and will lock up my time. When I finish high school I am looking to go to Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University to get a degree in Aerospace engineering or Software Engineering. I also want to get a Phd. in physics. I know its going to be hard and will cost PLENTY of money but it will be worth it. I want to open up my own firm of consultants that deal with engineering and advise and supervise construction projects for different types of companies ( airlines, buildings, factories).

Lets face it, most of us are teenagers who are in high school. There may be some exceptions but I think you all would agree with my assessments on the situation. This brings me to think about our future. I was wondering about what some of you guys want to do after this. There will be a time when we all will some time drastically or gradually cut down on our OB time. I would like to know what are some of the paths that you will choose upon completion of high school and leave the OB. Stuff like what colleges that you want to go to and what majors you are going to pick up and what careers that you would like to pursue. You may even have a job waiting for you when you finish. Maybe you will never leave the OB or you don't plan to. The future has many possibilities and we should all have some plan or another.

To tell the truth I am just afraid of fear itself and being afraid. Fear can cause hesitation and lead to our downfall in many different areas. I hate hesitation and being in a situation that I am not fully confident and sure that everything will be at its best.

I am a person who really doesn't try to be with the so called in crowd but just be myself. I just happen to be in good with most of the kids in my grade. You sound like you are stressing too much. I just came to a new school where I had alot of friends because moset of of went to the same primary school since grade one or live in the same area. I got a scholarship and now I go to a whole different type of school. My old schol and other schools in the Bahamas are 98% black, middle to low class average joes. My new school is different. Its an international school on the "rich" side of the island. It is a mostly white school that seems like teenage America Everyone told me stuff like I shouldnt go because the people are snobs and would treat me bad because I came on a scholarship and all kinds of other stuff. It was a new school, new people to meet and a new culture but I grew adapted. I try to introvert myself to do good in school but that never helps. Anyway as it turned out I got in good with the people there without having to be anyone but myself and I have a bunch of friends now from both worlds. All I'm trying to say is that just be yourself and if sometimes it seems as if you're on the outside looking in, don't worry about it because your true friends will never abandon you and when you look back on this in the future you will think hoq silly this was.

Eli has a valid point when it comes to love and lust. That is why I am not a big fan of love at first sight, but it still can be possible. First sight is a physical attraction and if we are physically attracted to someone there is one thing that we are thinking about and its not I want to be in a committment with you. I do think love is real. You just have to discern certain things. These may be different with different people but I think we all would know when the time is right. I was once in love. It was with a girl who I had known for most of my life and we were good friends. It was after a one month stretch after really hanging out with her I got hooked. You know when you are in love because its like a drug that you can't get enough of. Real love is attainable but it is really easy to fall in the lust trap so be careful.

I don't know if I am the the only person that thinks this, but to me SEED is the best series since Gundam Wing. I like the struggle between Kira and Athrun. The whole good friends having to fight eachother concept is pretty cool. We can see that they are building up the characters, we have seen a little of more of Kira than Athrun but I think that everything will even out. Gundam Wing was the first one I watched and is my favorite. It had more action, atleast compared to SEED at this time and the storyline was simpler and easy to grasp. I missed the first episode of SEED and I feel like there is something that I am missing everytim I watch it. The whole story and feel that I get from SEED is opposite in that the storyline has more depth and there is more talk than fight but both shows balance out well. I never really could have gotten into Mobile Suit Gundam. It was just uninteresting and dull. I think that SEED pulled off that concept better. G Gundam was annoying at first to me because I like the how the war storylines play out in other series. As I watched more I got into it and it was rather pleasant as we got into the whole saga with shwartz and the dark gundam. Can someone fill me in on 0080 because I only got to watch one or two episodes and I never got the plot. Also, I see you guys have watched so much of the Gundam episodes and I was wondering if you bought the DVD's or is ther a special channel to watch them because I live in the Bahamas and the only thing we have is 55 channel cable or bootleg direct TV(which I don't have). The stored over here suck and I can't but much stuff like anime or video games. I guess the only good things over here are the resorts. Peace Out

We all know that love is firstly a physical attraction and we can easily be swayed by the bombshell who crosses our path when we walk down the street, but I try to stay away from those emotions because those types of relationships don't work out that well for me. The last couple of girls I fell in love with were beautiful, containig all of the classic descriptions, but they were people that i knew for most of my life (only 15 . 6 months). This was mostly because i somehow got to spend alot of time with them and I got to know them alot better. Funny, charming and just plain being yourself gets me a little. Don't get me wrong, who doesnt like a nice curvy frame, mysterious eyes, nice back and long hair, its just that before I fall for someone it really helps me to know who is this person I have fallen for and why.
