I'm sure that many people already expected this. After all, all console generations have 2 Zeldas (counting GB and SNES as the same generation). However, I'm worried about
Aryll not appearing, since she didn't go with them.
Considering what Aonuma has been doing to connect the games, I wouldn't be surprised to see the end of this one hinting at the story of an older Zelda.

There is nothing wrong with doing things to make yourself look better. After all, isn't that the reason you take baths? I shave my eyebrows when I go get my hair cut, since plucking them hurts too much (I almost cried the first time:blackeye: ). I also shave my legs in the summer (you try living in a hot tropical island!). However, I don't use makeup, since I've never needed to. And most girls don't care about your hair amount, or they prefer the lack of extra hair. At least, most girls I know dislike gorillas.
Originally posted by Zeh How about add a selection for us who don't watch anime, and wouldn't care.
*Still wondering why Zeh would be at the Anime Lounge* On topic- I would be really dissapointed, because I would never see many of my favorite shows again (NO LAIN? :bawl: :bawl: :bawl: ). However, my pocket would be much fatter...

I just can't seem to believe that Fear is Geist, since both games have such different premises. Besides, IGN was the first to say that; and we know how strange they can be at times...
Originally posted by Break Uh... TWW is set 100 years after OOC, it's not very early at all. Every single Zelda game is in a time of its own, apart from OOT+MM and OOA+OOC (which are kinda paired up).
Same world, different time. After WW, other Zelda games eventually happen. Simple logic, This is why I said that WW takes place early in the storyline: Shigeru Miyamoto himself said that OOT was the first Zelda (thus the creation scene early in that game). WW shows dozens of times that it takes place after OOT (as in only "a few hundreds years", quoted by the King of Red Lions).
Originally posted by Legacy ...there appears to be a connection between LttP and OoT, from the reference of the seven sages sealing Ganon into the dark world in LttP.
In LttP, Gannon was killed. However, he was sealed in OOT. Also, in WW,
when you get the Master Sword, you see pictures of the OOT sages, not of the LttP ones.
Also, where exactly did you get that "kingdom of islands" part? They departed to create their own kingdom, and I doubt that they would just conquer the islands already discovered. Also, with Tetra's last words, you see that they are leaving for unknown lands.

I heard (I believe in IGN) that Miyamoto is working on a Mature-rated game called "Fear". It is about conquering, well, fears. I'm really interested in seeing how Miyamoto makes this one.

Here's a video of the game There are quite a few teams, which will probably mean different strategies, or stages. Confirmed teams: Team Hero -Sonic, Tails and Knux Team Chaotix -Espio, Charmy and Vector (OLD SCHOOL!) Team Dark -Shadow (how?), E-??? (I suppose that it's a new model), and Rouge Team Flyer (Not sure of the name) -Cream, Amy and Big (who finally learned to run fast. Also, among other sights, Mecha Sonic was shown in the official Trailer. Also, all the characters have either modified clothes, or their "Genesis era" looks (the shoes are the biggest example).
Another thing.....how can Hyrule become industrialized and futuristic if IT'S NO LONGER HYRULE?!?! Does nobody remember that the land in the Wind Waker is NO LONGER HYRULE? Hyrule is completely submerged, adios, finito, vamanos. The islands themselves are too far apart to unite, eradicating any chance of industrialization. There are realistic morals involved as well as the appeal of the series.

If you remember the very last part of WW, Link, Tetra and her crew depart to create a new kingdom, which is the Hyrule of LttP, LOZ and AOL. This Zelda is very early in the storyline, only taking place after the N64 games. And my idea would be for a Zelda in a future console. After all, Nintendo will eventually do all they can with the medieval setting, and then they will have to try various settings, mixing and matching.

Gaming The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords + and Navi Trackers
Turkey replied to Senor Ding Dong's topic in Noosphere
I'm personally dissapointed with the fact theat they are 2 separate games. They could easily be in one disc, which would be much better for the pocket. Sadly, it doesn't matter, since I have no friends with GBA... -
Hmmm....Maybe that could be done in a Zelda game. Please, read my idea before pointing to it as blasphemy: The game would start with a battle between Link and Gannon (think Castlevania for PSX). After Link triumphs, and Hyrule is once again saved, he decides to explore the world. During his "vacation", Link meets a magician who sends Link through a portal. Link awakes in a world he doesn't recognize. During his travels through this new world, Link finds the magician, who tells him that this is Hyrule, but in a distant future. He's been brought here to restore the world back to its original form. The story could be about the loss of innocence and values, or something similar. If anyone's played Terranigma (SNES), think of what the older people tell you late in the game.

I found it hilarious, and very refreshing when compared to all the other comedies. I love offensive movies, especially when I meet the offended people.

Is that KRAID!? My God, this game is just plain amazing. Time to start picking up pennies. I don't know what to say. I didn't expect such cool visuals...And the gameplay will surely be excellent.

While I've found "All Killer, No Filler" to be Poser Punk (except for the excellent Pain for Pleasure), their latest CD is pure gold to me. I really like a the Death Metal references in their songs. They have, in my eyes, become a respectable band with lots of potential to be among the greats.

Damn...This will certainly be a busy year at the Nintendo booth. I still remember spending those days getting online every hour to check all the new info. I don't feel like commenting on the games right now, but I'm interested on most of them (by most, I meant all). PS- Does Konami hire robots or something? They haven't got a break with the GBA games since Circle of the Moon.

If you want to export it as a gif, you'll have to do some work. Anyway, you can never have a truly transparent color. Instead, you should use white as your "transparent" color. I don't really know how to export from Flash, since I use the "Print Screen Button".

Since I can't download videos right now, can someone point me to pictures?

Metroid 1 was already brought back with Prime, so I doubt Nintendo would port it again so soon. Metroid 2 will probably be available in Prime 2. Knowing Nintendo, Super Metroid will be called "Metroid Advance", and ported to the GBA at full price (obviously, it will sell millions).

When I opened the topic, I expected an evil-looking samurai. I'm glad to see such a happy guy. However, I noticed that one of his right hand fingers is too big. 8.75/10

What kind of changes should I make? Please don't mention the head size or the belt, since I already noticed them. And Angel, what do you recommend I do to the coloring?

It will be great to see Carrey after his long hiatus in comedy. The last time I saw him was in "Me, Myself and Irene", and "The Cable Guy" before that (am I the only one who like it?) I can't believe the guy is 41. I always saw him as a 30, or a 28.
-
While it isn't the prettiest thing ever, it's very stylish. Maybe you could alter it and give it more detail? It's got potential. 7.5/10

Well, the game was finally shown in motion. And in CNN. Well, if anyone wants to see the video, you can download it at PLanet Gamecube. Direct Link (kinda)

This one's to all Magic fans out there! Ixidor, Reality Sculptor Aphetto, the city of sorrows Demons and fury in every morrow People fight every day to the death While the crowds cheer, winning their bets Nivea and I Fought every day for our lives Accepting challenges, and betting on ourselves Knowing that failure would bury us in debt Thinking that was a good motivation We'd do our best, winning the crowd's attention Then, we met Phage A creature born of hate Her touch could easily defeat Any warrior with unprotected skin We tried to defeat her But our efforts were in vain She murdered my Nivea While she ushered tears of pain I had to give up the fight So Phage would spare my life I left the Coliseum Losing my money...and my wife We had been in need of money So we had duplicated our gold They discovered my folly Thus I was banished from my home My madness grew in the desert My true powers awakened inside Creatures, castles, whatever My new creations could be given life I am Ixidor, the Reality Sculptor Banished from Aphetto by a fool Reality has exiled me I am no longer bound by its rules

I haven't completed it yet, but I seem to be in the halfway point now, and I started playing it 3 hours ago. During the first few stages, I started getting bored, since they look the same (some even have the exact same layout!). The characters look excellent, but the areas have been mostly plain. However, the stage I started playing has very detailed areas, and right now I have an amazingly powerful suit. Here are some things which I didn't explain in the first post: -You have an assortment of suits, which you buy and upgrade. As the game progresses, you gain access to more powerful (and expensive) suits. The suits have four ratings: Energy (for special attacks), Hand Blast (normal attacks), Shield (defense), and Automatic (speed of shots, and maybe Vanessa, but I have to check). You also buy the Special Attacks. -With the digital pad, you can make combinations which result in the Special Attacks I mentioned above. You have to use them a lot, but wisely too. These moves can usually target multiple opponents, and render you invinsible while performing them. Unfortunately, the game is very sentitive about the combinations, and it can take a few tries to pull it off. -The best way to earn points (to buy stuff) is by chaining combos. When you kill an enemy, a countdown appears. Every enemy you kill while in the countdown add time and points. The combo system scores in the same way that the Tony Hawk games (Enemies killed multiplied by total points). It is possible to finish each room with a perfect combo. This game is leaning more into a "rent", but I have faith that future stages will keep getting better.
