I like Trigun's end theme. Some people don't like the sound of the song, but the lyrics are great! :D ___ Kaze wa Mirai ni Fuku (The Wind Blows Toward the Future) [JAPANESE] La la la... aoi sora no shita de kaze wa mirai ni fuku taiyou no hizashi wo dakishimeru you ni tada nagasareru dake ashiato dake wo nokoshite hoho wo naderu kuuki to nekorobu kusa ga areba hoka ni nanimo iranai michitarita egao de hateshinaku tsudzuku ashita wo mitsume nemuru La la la... namioto ga kikoeru kokoro wo kusuguru ame no shizuku mitai ni kimama ni atenaku shizuka ni yuuhi ga subete wo mitodoke tooi umi ni shizumu kuchidzuke suru you ni hateshinaku tsudzuku ashita no yume ni nagareru La la la... [ENGLISH] La la la... Underneath the blue sky, the wind blows toward the future, as if embracing the rays of the sun. Merely wandering along, I leave behind only a trail of footsteps. As long as there's a breeze brushing my cheek and grass to lie in I don't need anything else, and I'll smile with satisfaction. Sleeping, gazing at the never-ending future... La la la... I can hear the sound of waves, touching my heart, selfishly aimless, like drops of rain. The setting sun quietly reassures itself of everything, then sinks into the distant sea, as if giving it a kiss. Wandering towards the dream of a never-ending future. La la la... ___

I honestly don't know of many people in my town that watch anime. Or even know what it IS for that matter. >_< There really aren't many stores that sell anime other than mainstream titles like DBZ or Pokemon. And the rental places don't have much either. I think the only place we have is Radio Shack... and Waldenbooks. I hate living in a small town...
-
I rent anime, but I don't buy it. Either that or on TV. I don't have a job, so I can't afford it.
-
I'm looking forward to seeing it. It looks really funny. :D I've heard lots of good stuff about it. Here's a review on it: >>CLICK

My parents don't really care if I watch it or not.:D I'm more of a casual fan, so I guess it's because I don't spend all of my time and money on it. ;) To tell the truth, I didn't even know my dad knew what anime was at first. We were in the rental place one day and I was getting ready to rent Spirited Away, and he saw the cover and said: Is that Japanese anime? I didn't know he knew what it was... He said he used to like some anime as a kid.:) My mom doesn't seem to care. I don't know if she knows what it is or not though.

Thanks.:) Here's another sig I made today:

I don't agree with either of them on the whole spider/butterfly deal. I believe in letting nature take its course. But if you mean the way I look at life, I'm a bit of a realist.:D

I would say Legato sort of "worships" Knives. He even goes as far as hating his own species(human) and wanting to kill them all because he believes like Knives, that plants are superior to humans. So he probably wouldn't see himself good enough to be in any romantic relationship with Knives. Knives doesn't really care much for Legato because Legato is human. Knives was laughing after the scene where
Vash kills Legato.
He just sees Legato as another one of those humans. Soooooo... I don't see much more than worshipping goin' on there. Not even friendship. More like a slave/master relationship in my opinion. That's just the way I interpret it though. Someone else might see something different.

Here are three of my most recent banners I've made for here and other forums: This is the one I'm using here right now. Sort of plain, but I was experimenting with Photoshop, and I liked how it turned out. I used this one for a while at another board. I'm pretty proud of it. I like this one the most out of these. I wanted it to look plain. I'm using it right now at another forum. kuroneko-Sama from Trigun! *points to her siggie* I like how he just pops up outta nowhere ev'ry now and then.:D I also liked Kouga from InuYasha!(he's a minor character, right?) A lot of people seem to hate him. I don't though. I liked Kaite from episodes 7 and 8, and Lina from episode 18 in Trigun also. Hmm.. that's all I can think of right now, I'll post more later. ;)

I didn't like the show that much when I first saw it, but it grew on me.:D Jigen has got to be my favorite character. He sorta reminds me of Jet from Cowboy Bebop.

when do you guy go back to the hellhole aka school?
Xai replied to darkside's topic in General Discussion
Not sure when exactly, but I think the 26th of August. Or somewhere around that time.:( Summer has gone by so fast...(for me at least..) -
The best I've seen is Cowboy Bebop. The voices and acting are great! I can't think of anything I don't like about the dub! The CB movie's dub isn't quite as good as the series though in my opinion. Another good one is Trigun. Although the voices are a bit different, they still fit the characters well. I still prefer some of the original voices, like Wolfwood or Legato though. I also liked the Spirited Away dub. I haven't seen the original, but I liked the dubbed version. Disney did a good job. Now for the Bad ones... DBZ. The acting is good for some of the later seasons, but they changed the dialouge so much! They added the stupid jokes, and they cut out a lot of other stuff! Crest of the Stars... Don't get me started on that one... It just sounds so... crappy. The actors didn't sound like they were even trying! No emotion... just talking.

I just remembered a wierd dream I had when I was 2 (and I STILL remember it). I dreamt I was being chased by an evil vaccum cleaner in my living room... It could talk...:nervous: Very disturbing dream, especially for a 2 year old. I don't remember what it said, but I eventually beat it by cornering it behind the couch and pushing the couch back on it so it couldn't get free...

Hmm... Kaze from Final Fantasy Unlimited and Vincent from Final Fantasy 7. They both have a red cape, have a cold personality, a metal arm, among other things. and here are anime lookalikes comparison pics I made: Kagato and Ilpalazzo Legato and Aoshi And theres InuYasha and Yoko Kurama(with the ears)
-
One that comes to mind is Gohan from the Cell saga in DBZ and Cloud from FF7. I can't think of as many anime+game lookalikes as I can anime+anime lookalikes, so from the top of my head, theres Legato from Trigun and Aoshi from Rurouni Kenshin... among others.

Probably "My Dog Skip". I love animals, so I cried when
Skip died at the end... well, it was from old age, but still sad by the way that part was written.
:( I rarely cry when watching movies though.:)

I drew that with a mouse. I had trouble with the nose, so I didn't add it. I guess it does look wierd though. Oh and I'm a girl.:) I guess you really can't tell judging by my name.
Originally posted by .hack//IZUAL So does anyone know who the girl is in Version 6?
I believe she's from a PC game called "Magna Carta, The Phantom of Avalanche." Unfortunately, The game hasn't been released outside Korea. Here is the official site: http://www.magnacarta.co.kr/ (I hope this post isn't spam :( )

VashXMeryl My favorite. I think they look really cute together...:D The hug scene was just too sweet for words! I like reading fanfics about them. Too bad
Vash isn't human and he'd outlive her...
Others I like are WolfwoodXMilly, Inu-YashaXKagome, MirokuXSango, and when I liked DBZ, VegetaXBulma was my favorite.

I draw better on paper, but since I don't have a scanner, here is something I drew on the computer: Catgirl! (yes, I meant to not give her a nose. makes her look cuter I think) Crappy coloring... I had one that was colored better than this one, but I accidentally deleted it... And here is the crappy colored version (done in Photoshop) I have some other stuff I drew in paint that I'll post later.

I remember watching it on Cartoon Network when it was on. It was pretty cool from what I saw. I really liked the ending theme. My favorite character was Aisha.:) I've always thought "catgirls" were cool.

Location, location, location--Where are you from?
Xai replied to Baron Samedi's topic in General Discussion
I live in Virginia in the U.S. There's nothing to do here really, but It's still okay since it's really quiet here. -
I'd be pretty sad if anime dissapeared, but I would eventually just find something else to do. Maybe get out more, or watch other shows.

I use industrial. I like the look of the Otaku boards banner at the top and the light color scheme.
