Well, today I did, sorta. It's called "tiding up" 81 year old grandma's garden. My granpa said he had enough of my gram getting hurt tending to the vegies and fruits. Granma was upset, but he let her keep the garden. Well, my granparents barkyard faces a phamacy's back parking lot - meaning loads of trash coming over. First, we ripped out all the plants growing in the area to be cleaned out. Sythes, hedge trimers, weed wacker, almost everything you can think of - it was still back-breaking. Then, to clean the area closest to the parking lot: metal polls, wood, shingles, bricks, roofing, trash. That part took awhile. Then, to whack down the seven foot asparacus, yes, at least seven. I said we should of sold them to the supermaket, but no, they didn't want at least ten bucks per stock. Then, to weed, seed, and water. Overall it took about ten hours today-er...I mean yesterday. Now, we can see the sidewalk that was supposedly built before we cleaned. We even have before and after pictures, once I have 'em I'd more then happy to post them! Well, what about you guys, ever done anything that you thought was almost impossible? Excuse me, I have to check to make sure my back isn't broken...
Originally posted by AzureWolf :eek: Don't you dare compare Naruto with that atrocious flop. In any case, Naruto isn't very well-known in the US, except in manga form. I doubt there could be much discussion until it is brough over and people realize the wonder that is Naruto.
First, I wouldn't ever even think to compare Naruto to DBZ! Omg, Naruto is a thousand times better. Secondly, I recently read a magazine stating "The Top Ten Most Popular Anime You Can't See". Naruto came in at #2, with one piece being the first. (in that article I don't unerstand at all why Sailor Moon Sailor Stars came in at #5, feh!) The only reason I bought that darn magazine ("Anime Insider") was to send it to my brother in Japan to provide him with happiness of the result of One Piece and Naruto and to also keep the little one paragraph page of Tsubasa .RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE. I much rather prefer Newtype. Btw, if you wish to know the ranks of other anime, they are: 10)Hikaru No Go 9)My Gilrfriend, The Ultimate Weapon 8)Slam Dunk 7)Lengend of Galactic Heros 6) Doraemon (yay) 5) Sailor Moon Sailor Stars -_- 4) Macross Zero 3) Hunter X Hunter (yay) 2) Naruto 1) One Piece. I would really enjoy a Naruto Forum, I would be there more often than here. ^^;;;

Wow, he was here and gone faster than.....well, I can't think of anything at the moment. Geez oh peats, people like that are just looking for themselves to be ban. Many thanks to Sara and James on that one. Shouldn't this thread be closed though?
Originally posted by Sara I don't know why, but I find this vastly amusing.
I feel the same way.... yeah, I think juugai is 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000.not sure though, don't quote me on that

YES! I have a very over-active imagination! Geez oh peats. In my best subjest, Writing, (I don't have reading, but french because I'm with the peoples that don't need reading in school ever again 'cause we're so good....not ot brag or anything...) I'll often daze out on odd subjests. Like, what to write in the student council suggestion box. i.e. "I think there should be a pencil/pen/paper machine in the school, just like what we had at Jefferson. P.S. I also think Jennifer Charvat should be banned from the entire school district" haha, I actually wrote that, hey it's a suggestion box, ne? Yet another that I thought of writing...."there should be a rule that if you don't like your librarians, we should be able to vote them out of the school" xD there are so many things that my imagination has cost/honored me.
Originally posted by crossed_angel I am being homeschooled this year and i love it! I have to get so many hours over a length of time... But I'm not alone in the whole "schooling" system. A few of my friends are homeschooled to! :P
Okay, first off Teri-Ann..... 1) I hate home schooling!!! I've said it once, twice, maybe a thousand times, and I'll say it again!! I HATE HOMESCHOOLNING. 2) Oh yeah, two hours of work a day. I haveta say that's just lazyness. I have seven hours of work a day. AND I haveta get up a lot earlier than you! you can sleep as long as you want a day as long as you wake up for two hours to do your work! one word, LAZYNESS. 3) A few friends?! A few?!! wow, now you're counting one as about two. yup, always that little slip of the smartness goes away. 4) you spelled "to" wrong. It's supposed to be "too". yup, another slip of the brain. Okay admins, mods, I'm sorry that I only typed that to one person. but.....well....I honestly don't know. I know I did a no-no and it won't happen again.
-
you can stay up without sleep for a week?! I find that inpossible, but hey, I belive ya. at least at the moment i do. I think the longest I've ever stayed is, like, two days. yeah, I've got one now - I can count up to like 100 hundred in Japanese, French, Latin, and English (I would hope so!) there's still a little more.
-
well, i do have some accomplishment - but at a later time anywho, yeah, most of my teaches just go around, ask you to pull out your homework, they look to make sure you at least tried on it, and give you a perfect score. for my classes, most of my grades come from projects or tests/quizes. some of my teachers will even just glance at it - for all they may know you coulda just written down garbage. I mean, maybe your teacher did look and read it. if so, nice job on doing homework on something you like, its the best to do that. just last week I did a letter to Atlus Gaming complementing on their newer title, Disgaea: Hour of Darkness (I highly recomend it ;) ) heh, buisiness letters, da best. heehee

mmmm, pocky :3 my brother introduced me to that last summer when he went to Japan. I've tried other Japanese candies/snacks, but I will always love pocky the most. My favorite flavors are the strawberry and chocolate, I've been trying to find the peach ones but with no luck. I usually get mine from the asian market near me, at least since my brother is mean and never sends me any of the good flavors. about two years ago I got almost the grade to lave pocky during a cultural diversity project. not one crum was left.

Well, in sixth grade my friend moved at went to my school at the same time as you, she was scared and everything too. But, the first day she went, everyone tried to make friends with her. It was her first time ever out of home schooling. Now, she's got loads of friends, just from the one day (I'm in ninth grade at the moment...or is it eighth...geez, I'll get back to you on that one...). But, I personally hate home schooling. It now seperates my best friend and I. Well, not totally, I just miss seeing her once a day. Crossed_Angel! Come back to school! Doofus, "I want to do it for the free laptop!" grrrrrrrr, poo-poo on you!

I think dressing up as an anime character would be good. All of my friends say that we're gonna all dress up as an Inu-Yasha char. XD They claim that I'll be Kagome [hey, I'm not complaining]. Maybe pick your favorite character, anime or not; and dress up as him/her. Or you could be a Spider Queen/King XD, Kayla, your so influential. P.S. Valerie, I LOVE YOUR ICON AND BANNER!! muhahahaha!! sorry, I'm coming back to light now..........
-
