Well, I had to write some poetry for my english class and after getting some good grades on them, I finally got the guts to put the here in the OB. Comments are welcome, good or bad. I?m Grounded (this is my sonnet. it was really hard to right) I got myself grounded today, it reeked I showed my parents today, they were mad My report card wasn?t what I had seeked The grades were not very good, they were bad It had an F, D, and quite a few C?s But I had a B, and in band an A Now I will have to be a busy bee It is in my room I will have to stay Now I will have to study long and hard Now locked away in my room I will be So that I may get a good report card Hopefully my parents will unground me Hopefully I will be ungrounded soon In fact I hope it will be before noon that's all for now. I might share more later.

I went through the exact same thing as you. I only have one real best friend that I still talk to constantly. I do have one best friend that was really gettin on my nerves but I talked to him about it and he backed off for a bit, later I started talkin to him again even if he was annoying because I refused to loose our friendship... Anyway, you just learn that there's nothin you can really do. People grow, and they often grow apart. You just learn to make new friends, even if you don't want to.

I've noticed that about Disney movies and how they don't really have all the music anymore. I was trying to figure out what was the last movie they made that actually did have all the singing and danceing. Anyone know? I don't like how they stopped. They just don't seem like disney movies anymore, to me anyway.

I do think irony is funny to a point. I can't think of anything in particular but I know it happens quite a bit every day, and most of the stuff isn't very positive.
-
(I don't think I spelled that right. Oh well.) My life is full of irony it makes me sick. It really does. I couldn't tell you how many ironic things have happened to me. I know this really isn't a big deal, but it's getting to the point I could go crazy. I haven't yet but I could. Maybe I should start going by the name "Jynx". Maybe not... Does anyone else have a lot of ironic issuses? What's the biggest one? (I know this isn't a big deal, but I feel like complaining and I'm feeling pretty curious right now. Feel free to close this you like.)

Well, like I said before, interesting and creative. Very well done for an 8th grader. You did it for school correct? What grade did you get on it? I don't know if this makes sense but I thought the first part was better done the second. Maybe it was just me. I'd give it a 7/10. I must say, I admire that you actually finished it. I write quite a few things myself and I don't think I've ever put an ending on any of them. Well done Lumi.

I personally don't think I fit into any catagorey. I'm just me. I tried to think of what group I'd fit into and I couldn't think of one. I don't really care either. But, if you go what people at school say I'm a punk, dork, loser, crazy, band nerd, and poser. I agree most with the dork and band nerd. I hate being called a poser though. I wear a tie to school every once in a while and I'm a poser. Whatever.

Oh man, I've learned to keep my mouth shut on this topic. I wonder about the dumbest most pointless things. When I ask people "have you ever wondered?..." They just say stuff like "Where'd that come from?" or they just look at me like I'm crazy. Can't say I blame em.

If you could erase one human emotion..what would it be and why?
Moor_Child replied to Bishie's topic in General Discussion
Wow, what a question. Well I sat and thought about this one for about 2 min, I thought about every possible emotion (I think fast) then I realized you get something important from every emotion, and I mean EVERY single last one. But I could get rid of one I'd have to say embarrassment. I still think it's important but that's one I could do without. I HATE it. -
I am a major procrastinator. I do it to the point I don't do my work at all...wait...does that still count as a procrastinator?... I never did fix that problem. I'm payin for it right now. (I'm retaking some classes at school) I'd give some advice, but I'm definetly not one to talk.

I'd go back to 4th grade. It's seems like that's when my life made the biggest changes. If that makes any sense. But I'd only go back if I had my memories of everything up until now. If I didn't have my memories how I would make a difference? Not like it matters though, it's never gonna happen.

Hmm...I don't know if I should take that as a compliment Conna, being like your sister's friend James? I'm a girl and he's a guy...whatever, just givin you a hard time. :P *gasp* You don't like the nightmar b4 christmas Vampire Ed?! Semjaza curse Ed!! J/J I asked if anyone didn't like it too, but you want to blow your brains out?

I watched that the other day at the grandparents (it felt really good to see some anime again!). Not to make anyone mad but it did remind me a lot of Ronin Warriors...anyway, I liked Knights of the Zodiac. I asked my bro what he thought of it. He said, "Too much fiction, not enough science." But he's pretty dumb...

I don't know...I watched the PPG movie in theaters, on vhs, and DVD. All three of them showed a short "movie" on Dexter. It was actually a 30 min episode where he had the chicken pox. *shrug* I don't think I'm crazy...but eh, I never know.
-
Anyone see the PPG Movie? It had a Dexter episode in it before the movie started. It was a good one too! Dexter had the chicken pox! It was great, so was the movie! I love them both. I have the PPG CD, do they have one for dexter?
-
I LOVE Dexter!! My favorite episode is the one where it's like a musical and it sorta explains the how Dexter began. I also love Genndy and Craig McCracken(sp?), he created the Power Puff Girls. They're the best super heroines of all time.

I've been goin on over a year without anime. :bawl: That's one of the reasons I joined the OB, so I could find some place to get my daily dosage of anime, so I guess something good came out of it. The reason I've gone so long without it is cause we don't have any cable or anything like that...and I'm not counting stuff on the Foxbox, we have that, but they have really kiddie anime. So what's the longest you've gone?
-
So, has anyone heard of them? I totally love them. In case you didn't know, they're a German metal group. My german teacher used to play their music during class. They even have a videos set to clips of DBZ. Who's heard of them and what do you think?
-
I have dysfunction. I love that CD. My music teacher got me into them a couple of years ago when we watched one of their vids in class. I don't think I'd buy any of their other CD's though, don't ask me why...I'm not sure.
-
Hmm...very creative. I'd also like to finish the rest of it. I'd give it an eight outta ten.
-
*sigh* Anime has changed me. I grew up with it so I'd say it has greatly influenced me. I'm just not sure how exactly. I guess some of the things I like to do are b/c of anime like drawing, story writing, and other things. I love anime and cartoons that have anime twist to them.
-
I knew someone else out there had to like too! Everyone I know either doesn't know what it is or finds if highly disturbing. I even plan on being Sally this year for Halloween. I can't wait!!
-
About four of my own that I bought, and...two old ones that my dad gave me...that I listen to regularly anyway.

I don't know if this has been started yet but it hasn't here it is. So does anyone like the nightmare b4 christmas? I love that movie. Yes, I know it came out a while ago but I watch it almost everyday. It's just so creative and different. I love the way Jack (Danny Elfman) sounds when he sings. He can do so many expressions while singing, I think that's just the coolest thing. So does anyone else like/not like this movie?
