Hmm, sounds like a song...a lot of love letters start with the exact same line, then after, seems that you're stuck in a particular point in life where you can't help but think about the same thing, in three different variations.

It's been a while since I've done poetry :(...here's one I had a lot of time to think about. A little inspiration from Kingdom Hearts and a dream. Comments? ~ Look around. Darkness, created by light. Each one of us is born, burning, blanketed by the shadows of human creators. Basking in the shade of others, pale, cold, secluded. Break away and stand tall with a flame as bright, But with a heart that doesn't consume. The closer we are, we shine brighter as one. Though, if one were to become heartless, the larger each of their shadows become, against the lit candles, and another lost one falls into obscurity, forlorn.

Lol...I just beat Cerberus 30 min ago from the time of this posting. This was my strategy: Stay behind him for a while and let Donald and Goofy do some of the work, or distractions, while you pound on him when his head is hung low...potions are a must since you don't have cure spells yet. Goofy is more than capable of doing that job. They'll be knocked out...but after 2 minutes or so, they'll be back on their feet again with near-full health. In the meantime, though, use Fire from a distance and hack at him until your charge gauge generates MP then back off again and shoot.

Actually, there has already been a thread that covers a lot. So I'll direct you to it... GTA3 Not all the cheats are listed there so I'll list a few that I know off the top of my head. I'm not sure what they do but you can find that out for yourself. R2, R2, L1, R2, 360 Counter-Clockwise on D-pad R2, R2, L1, L2, 360 CC R2, R2, L1, R1, 360 CC Those'll help you get through the game if you're really in a tight spot and you can't afford to die or something...

I just got it today :) and...it's good...I've noticed the camera problem too. Gameplay is quite fun and the cutscenes are great...Sakaguchi talent wasn't in this time...it's led by the young Tetsuya Nomura.

I guess if you want to find a good "man" or "woman," one way is if you look at yourself first to see what you like and what makes you who you are. Once you know that, then go out and do the stuff that you like to do. You'll eventually meet someone that you'll feel comfortable with talking about whatever it is for a long, long time. That way you'll know if that person's right for you or not...

the face of metal(and music in general for that matter) today
RicoTranzrig replied to treton_noir's topic in Noosphere
I kinda like metal right now...but it really is just mindless noise most of the time, they're pretty easy for an amateur to play too. I miss a lot of the metal bands that do the "free-riff" or solo on a distorted guitar. -
I would probably survive. Think of the Hobbits in LOTR...they live simple lives. Technology is great but it can really complicate our lives, mostly the communications part of it anyway.

Starcraft: Ghost really caught my eye but the game reminds me of Alient Versus Predator for some reason. Breakdown looks interesting...but I really don't know judging just by the screen shots. NUDE sounds alright...but the title...iono... :therock:

I agree that limiting content to a certain extent is a good idea since there are many young people here. And one of our duties is to watch out for that. It's not bad for members to be exposed to different ideas but I don't think we go as far as rating "R" to get our ideas across...

Well, you still could...I checked the stores today at 1 and they were sold out so it might be a while since I placed a back-order. Whoever happens to grab a copy before everyone else, give us your input on the release version.

Writing Today's Poem [M -- As a Precaution]
RicoTranzrig replied to Heaven's Cloud's topic in Creative Works
It's been too long since I've written poetry... Take a step back or towards you'll be done for the day. Take anymore and you'll lose your way. You may take years to get there, maybe five or so. Though it might be wise to take heed, go slow, and get there alive. -
what was/is your lifelong dream?
RicoTranzrig replied to Senor Ding Dong's topic in General Discussion
lol...his name is Dan Birlew, a writer for Bradygames and a lot of the good plot analysis for the survival horror games. -

For me, eventually I want to become a doctor later on in life after I've experienced being in different careers that lead up to it. If money and survival weren't really that much of an issue, for sure I'd be a writer for video games kinda like Andrew Vestal or President Evil. As far as my personal life is concerned...I want to meet and love someone who I can care for while that person would treat me right. Have kids too...:) -
At first when I heard his new single and the rest of 18...I didn't really like it...but it's grown on me. I still prefer his last album, Play...in which my favorite song would be Porcelain.

There will be a Counterstrike for X-box live in the future...XBconnect is laggy sometimes but it's fun and challenging when the X-box is the only thing using up the modem. But to answer your question...it's more like Unreal Tournament than CS.

I use Ulead Video Studio. The Video Studio is really easy to use to import and play around with imported video and sound. It came with my Video Card so I might as well put it to good use.

I woke up early this morning to find out that the game comes out tomorrow...none of the stores nearby are releasing it today, except at Sony's Metreon...but people are known to camp out. So Wal-mart lied...oh well, at least Monster's Inc. is in stock...

There's always some type of illegal street racing on my block...it's really annoying hearing the buzzing noises of cars in high engine speeds. It's not all that exciting either since they're just your typical Civic or MR2. But on occasion my neighbors with one Rx-7 and another with a 3000GT go at it so it's kinda fun to see such extreme cars following each other around a block at high speeds at night.

I believe it is...but there's always a 4 player split-screen as an alternative...

Art Edit a .gif without losing it's animation
RicoTranzrig replied to Zodiac's topic in Creative Works
I think the ppl in the art & design section might be more able to help you with this, so I'll move it there...Personally, I use Photoshop's ImageReady to create and edit my moving gif's. -
Voyager...it's the only series that I've watched all the episodes for. That and the idea of getting lost like that, away from the federation really got me into it. I also watched a good deal of DS9 before they ended (the Defiant is cool). The new Enterprise series though...I hardly watch it b/c of other things...but I guess I'll go catch the latest episode this Wednesday.

The first time I demoed it at the Metreon last month...I was surpised about the battle system...real time hack and slash with command shortcuts/options. It felt really easy to beat enemies by just hitting the X button and not casting any other magic except Curaga. As far as commercials are...I've only seen one at late night during a Star Trek voyager rerun. It just portrays the first FMV of Sora and then goes on to the battle system then ends with a closeup of Sora, Goofy, and Donald in battle stance.

I helped out my cousin set up his X-box to play online so we get together sometimes, but it takes up almost all of the DSL bandwith so none of the other computers in his house can go online. I was thinking of buying one too just for the sake of playing the same game at home so I don't have to bother them, but I think I'll wait until another price drop.

They're pretty good...the FF: Spirits Within credits song got me to discover more of their songs a while back, but I didn't really get a chance to d/l a whole lot of their music until now. I like Forbidden Lover and Dive to Blue, just to single out some.
