OOC: Nice to see you back ~~~~~~~` [COLOR=darkblue][i]A hybrid warrior came speeding towards Roux and tackled him down. It stood on top of Roux, looming a shadow over him.[/i] Rena: Roux!! [i]The trio dove down, but the hybrid warrior already had his claws coming down on Roux. It paused...and blew up.[/i] Roux: :confused: [i]Roux sat up to see Chole holding a glowing ball of fire.[/i] Chole: Miss me? [i]Chole tossed the ball of fire in the air and turned around. The flames came close to his back and flowed through his hidden wings on his back. It wasn't in material form yet, but he was growing. He picked up Roux and ran.[/i] Iris: Chole, where are you going?! Chole: Where its safe... [i]Chole got to a running start, nearly covering half of the city before he jumped up high in the air. He paused in the air and began to fall, hard.[/i] Chole: Nuuhhh...:( [i]He straightened up with Roux beneath him and they started gliding through the air and rose up just before they touched the ground.[/i] Chole: Bumpy ride...but we've managed. [i]The three caught up to them.[/i] Rena: So you've learned too. Chole: No wings though... [i]The five floated in the air, looking at the ongoing battles below with the hybrids and the Celes forces.[/i] Siren: We should go help... [i]They started heading down...Chole let go of Roux and let him fly beside him...[/i] Chole: How come everyone has wings all of a sudden? Siren: Pi doesn't...you don't... Rena: Well, when he does that fireball trick...[/COLOR]

[COLOR=darkblue][i]As Ky and Chole neared the Junon airport, they passed by an entire arcade of shops, bars, and other pleasure places that seemed pretty decent such as an Oxygen bar. But they couldn't find any shop that sold Chocobo greens. Just before the entrance to the terminal, the passed by the mayors office where he noticed three people inside, waiting with their heads turned against the window. He looked up and saw the sign "City Hall."[/i] Chole: Hmm...you think if we ask, they'll tell us where we can find some real food for you? Ky: *nods* Chole: Okay, after we check out the airport, they might have some imported greens from there. [i]Chole make a small yelp and turned Ky in the direction of the airport. He got off before he entered after seeing the sign "No Chocobo Riding." Chole said hi to a much friendlier guard and led Ky inside...[/i][/COLOR]

(Out of Character) OOC: Mind if I post in 1st person for now? ~~~~~~ [COLOR=darkblue][i]"I awoke very early in the morning to an extremely disturbing dream of death, destruction, and despair. Awoke in the darkness, looking up at the roofless ceiling, thinking if it were actually a nightmare or reality. A little of both I suppose...I sprung up from the floor I was resting on and looked out of a hole in the wall. "Outside was still the same, complete darkness with the exeption of the stars overhead. Nothing really changed, except that I've been dreaming the same dream each and every night ever since I took a place here on the upper floor of this desecrated building. I peered downstairs and saw my neighbor who lost his memory a week ago after he got mugged right outside his house by a bunch of lowlifes. "LightBearers." Some group they are. As a result of their successful uprising, we're left to fend for ourselves out here in the desolate Plainlands which was once a huge city. "Well, it was time for me to move on towards the outskirts. Lately, it's been way too dangerous here. I packed up my food, my knife, handgun, and a locket of a person I believe is still out there. Even though she might have gotten killed during one of the many, many raids in the city. I checked up on my neighbor. His head was still really banged up, but he was resting soundly. He had it bad, especially. Once he woke up, he couldn't remember anything, except how to walk and even that was a mighty task to accomplish. Enough of his suffering, he'll probably make it in life again I hope. I said goodbye to him and hit the road before anyone else could wake up and see me...[/i][/COLOR]

[COLOR=darkblue] To reiterate what Neil was saying... Most of the people in Games/RPG's are newbies right now. I've read most of the RPG's...and some of them are interesting, but I feel a lot of RPGs are missing something. I suggest for people who are new to the boards to not make their own RPG's until they really know and they can be there so their RPG doesn't drop the the second page. In the meantime, join up with more experienced players so you get a feel for it all. And for the veterans, including myself especially...please don't drop down to such a level that no plot progression or nothing interesting is going on for many pages long. People will leave...and the RPG is dead... Well, bacically it's just little things that get really annoying as it continues. For people who don't really know what's going on right now...dont' worry about it. If you know how to play, please do, if not...ask the experienced members or just follow their lead...you can PM me or any of the moderators/administrators if you have any questions. [/COLOR]

[COLOR=darkblue][i]Lupos cut the link off abruptly and drove harder, trying not to think about anything else but the road...[/i] Liam: Lupos....something wrong... Lupos: We'll see... Siren: *grabbing her arm with a piece of cloth* You're old enough to handle this... Lupos: I feel like a little kid! Liam: Well look at all 4'8 of me! Zack: Whoo...that's funny... Lupos: But it feels like such a trivial game right now...with Sion out of the picture. [i]Lupos pulled out of the freeway and went onto the residential blocks...[/i] Siren: Lupos...we can't fight if you're not feeling well. You know, with Sion basked in the rift, he'll become a lot harder to kill... Lupos: I know... [i]Lupos slowed down and took a left turn into Liam's garage...he took a deep breath and got out.[/i][/COLOR]

[COLOR=darkblue][i]Pi chared ahead to take out the other hybrid hunters within the military base. Leaving Chole inside the pod fuselage. He could hear the screams and sounds of war outside. There were thousands of them, and he could hear them all seperately. He got scared...and hid under the stairs as the explosions rocked the building...he wondered where Liam went after the discharge...he wondered where everyone went...[/i] Chole: Hmm... [i]Chole crawled out from underneath and walked around the military facility. The corridors were nearly empty in his search for the others. He began to run aimlessly around until he got to the entrance of the massive building. The doors were blown down and he could see a barren landscape, enclosed by the translucent dome...he started out...[/i][/COLOR]

OOC: It's alright...I'll tone the violent descriptions down. ~~~~~~~ [COLOR=darkblue]Chole: Hopefully...he'll come back. Viper: Why hopefully? Chole: He's been with us for how many months now and he hasn't hurt us...his brother's might, but I think he still has a good heart. Alan: He's probably watching us right now...listening in. [i]Chole looked with distant eyes onto the ground...[/i] Chole: If you can hear us...know that we'll be waiting for you. It won't be the same without you... [i]The continued down the path until the started to see the great city gates covered in a blusish mist.[/i] Perigrine: So we finally made it... Chole: At the expense of two of our people... [i]They continued walking, getting closer and closer. The entrie group was in a moment of silence throughout the rest of the ten miles they had to walk. The only people who survived this far...Lady Perigrine, Viper, Alan, and Chole...the remaining knew that their numbers were dwindling, but they were getting closer and closer to each other. They were safe in the mists of Artheri and soon, they would be able to rest...[/i] [/COLOR]

[COLOR=darkblue]Maybe it's just 10% maximum that's avalible for us to use while the other 90% is what keeps us alive *shrug* Just a thought. But if you start using that 10% near it's peak...your body suffers (stress).[/COLOR]

OOC: Forget my previous posts then, I was leading up to something serious but I give up...if you can't take that kinda stuff, fine I'll stop...but you didn't have to put it that way. ~~~~~~~~~~~~ [i]Chole looked down towards the ground and continued walking alone towards Artheri.[/i] Chole: ...this bites... [i]A cold, numbing feeling surged through his body as Outlaw's soul brushed through him. The land of magic carried his soul upwards, into the heavens to join with the rest of the brightly colored streaks of light in the sky. A miracle that could never be in the Lands of Man... A tear fell from Chole's eyes...it sparkled in the sun. He was turned away, but it was enough for Peri, Alan, and Liam, lurking in the shadows, to notice.[/i] Perigrine: Chole! Viper: *sniff* [i]Viper looked up and saw Chole crouched by the side of the trail leading down the hill. His head was in his right arm...and he was crying silently...[/i] Alan: I have never seen my brother like that before... Viper: *wipes away his tears* That's because he's changed...or he his changing... Peri: ... [i]After a few minutes, Chole got up and turned around, surprised to see the rest of the group standing right beside him...[/i]

OOC: How are you the bad guy? I thought you were somewhat of a medic. ~~~~~~~~~~ [COLOR=darkblue] [i]The group made it out, unscathed...they set Outlaw down again and Viper looked around...they were outside, on the top of a rolling hillside. [/i] Viper: What happened? Outlaw's still dying... Chole: Liam's, gone... Peri: That really sucks...who's gonna take care of Outlaw? Alan: Is Artheri nearby? Chole: Not for another hour or so...I don't think Outlaw can hold out that long with all the blood he's lost. Viper: Well, we could drag his body all the way there...but with Liam gone, I doubt too many people can bring him back to life.[/COLOR]

[COLOR=darkblue][i]Rico walked into the development with Warlock and Flash hard at work on the new probe...[/i] Rico: Hey. Warlock: Why so down? Rico: 'Lis... Flash: She'll be fine, you'll be able to visit her. Rico: She's going to have the baby alone... Flash: It happens...a lot...she'll manage, she's strong... Rico: *raises fist* yeah, I hope... Flash: You know... [i]Flash and Warlock set the final pieces of the probe together and welded the titanium casing of the chipset shut...[/i] [/COLOR]

OOC: Where is that guy? ~~~~~~~~ [COLOR=darkblue][i]Tears started to stream down Viper's face, not from the sorrow, but from the shock of it all...the darkness, the blood, the fear. It didn't suited her, never...Alan held her tightly as the others gathered around her, keeping caution.[/i] Chole: Good thing I planted that flare... Liam: They wouldn't dare hurt any of us. Perigrine: What makes you think that? [i]The three stood with their backs turned to each other, looking around the fairly large corridor.[/i] Liam: Light another one. [i]Chole raised his crossbow to where the sounds of dripping were coming from...Perigrine gasped.[/i] Peri: No! [i]Chole lowered his crossbow.[/i] Chole: ...oh... [i]Tears started to stream down Peri's face. She knew that once Chole fired the arrow, they would all see the horrid truth of what became of Outlaw...[/i] Liam: If he's still alive, we might be able to help him... [i]Chole crouched down and looked up with his crossbow in his view. He focused on a section of the wall with grooves enough to place a human into...a mass grave site. He saw corpse after rotten corpse at point blank range with his eyes. He panned right to where the dripping was and he saw Outlaw's body in one of the exposed coffins...but he wasn't sure that he was still alive.[/i] Chole: I see him... [i]The others looked up to see only blood dripping, but no body. Viper turned away.[/i] Viper: Just do it... [i]Chole pulled the trigger and the others looked away, except Alan...he wanted to see if he could take the sight of it all...[/i] Chole: Here goes... [i]The arrow launched off into the air and caught sparks. It was much more intense than the one he previously launched. As it got closer, it paused in mid-air and the light shone into the groove into the wall...Chole and Alan saw him there, his throat sliced from ear to ear, probably a lot deeper from the amount of blood that their feet were in. There were bruise marks all over his face and burn marks on his wrists. His skin was pale and his clothes were torn...[/i] Chole: OMG... [i]Chole aimed again and fired and explosion arrow. He dropped the crossbow and ran over to where the blood was falling to catch his body. The arrow burst in a cloud of dust and destroyed the wall, cauing Outlaw to fall out of his stone coffin and land in Chole's arms. Liam joined his side as he set him on the ground.[/i] Liam: Its bad... [i]The others approached his body, but flinched back as the stench reached their noses...Tears came from everyone's eyes now.[/i] Perigrine: What should we do now? Chole: Liam... [i]Liam knelt closer to Outlaw's neck and breathed in...[/i] Liam: Its really infected...even if we somehow do manage to seal his wounds...we still have the blunt damage to take care of, and then the blood loss, then the infection... Viper: Don't say anymore... [i]Chole reached over to his hand and put two fingers on his wrist, feeling for a pulse.[/i] Chole: Sh-t...somehow...he's still alive. [i]All their eyes opened up in surprise...Liam reached into his pack and took out bandages, wrapping them around Outlaw's neck. Liam and Chole carried him while he set his crossbow on his back. They ran towards the other side of the cave, keeping a close eye on each other...[/i] [/COLOR]

Chole: I don't know...it seems foolish and we might get caught... Iris: We want to save Rex, don't we? Chole: ... Iris: Okay, bad wording...umm, we don't want him to die! Chole: ... Iris: :shifty: let's just go... Chole: ... [i]Iris grabbed Chole by the ankles and dragged him into the shallow water.[/i] Iris: It's all your fault if we get killed! [i]They started to swim towards the floating station...[/i][/COLOR]

Chole grabbed the remote and started flipping around the Junon cable system...[/i] Chole: Wow...they have a lot of stuff they're pumping out...a lot better than antenna eh? Ky: ... Chole: Oh yeah....how would you know...you've never been inside my house...lol...hmm... [i]He flipped to the last channel avalible, showing screenshots of different areas of the upper level city. It shifted again to the streets where the parade was coming to an end and then it finally panned over to the giant airship on the runways of the Junon airport. Turbines, anchored by four ropes, and a picture of lady luck on the side...[/i] Chole: *sat up* Whoa! Ky: (I'd like to ride that someday) Chole: Maybe we should visit... [i]Chole thought about his mom...[/i] Chole: She can wait...she'll be glad I was having fun...I'm all busy working everyday... Ky: :rolleyes: Chole: Maybe a quick run wouldn't hurt eh? Ky: :D [i]Chole turned off the TV and patted Ky on the back.[/i] Chole: Are you ready? Ky: *nods* [i]Chole guided Ky down the stairs and the girl in oriental clothing greeted them again.[/i] Girl: Hi! Chole: We're going to take a look around. Girl: You'll be back, right? Chole: Sure... Girl: Okay, have fun...just checking 'cause I was about to give your room to someone else... Chole: Don't... Girl: I won't ') Ky: (Chole, man...she's cute...for you...) [i]Chole mounted on Ky, which was perfectly legal on the Junon streets, and they rode around...[/i][/COLOR]

Disappeared.[/i] Siren: How'd it close? Lupos: Liam? Liam: If no one put a seal on it...it should close if one stops concentrating on the rift... [i]Liam and Lupos helped Siren into the SUV with Zack rested on the steering wheel. Lupos opened the driver-side door and carried him to the back with Siren. Liam took the pasenger's side while Lupos started the engine and drove back...[/i] Lupos: [i]Espa...[/i][/COLOR]

OOC: Okay, thanks for clearing that up. ~~~~~~~~~ [i]Chole kneeled down and looked at the hordes of enemies...he just sat there, looking out...[/i] Siren: Chole, are you alright? Chole: ... Pi: Get up...we gotta keep moving back if we wanna stay alive. [i]Chole finally got up slowly and ran with Pi and the rest of the group while Siren held up the shield. They managed to get into a more reinforced part of the command center where the pods were laying, several hybrid warriors were already waiting for them...[/i] Rena: Chole! Look out! [i]Chole looked up and saw all of them with their sighs set on him. His eyes opened wide as he braced for the first waves...but the never came...a rocket flew from behind and hit one of the creatures with a great impact, sending it flying through the concrete wall.[/i] Pi: *holding up launcher* I thought you might need some serious help, kid. Chole: Thanks... Pi: Just stay behind us...we really can't afford losing another one of us...

[COLOR=darkblue]I agree with Neil as well...hmm its been a bit of a problem lately since it's school time and all, I understand that it can get really tasking when you have a serious case of WB...but I don't think it would be that hard to progress the story to an interesting point, eventually with everyone pitching in. That's what makes the RPG's come alive.[/COLOR]

[i]Chole concentrated, his finger hovering on the trigger. His crossbow glowed and fired a single bolt. It shot out, turning into a large flare that slowly moved in front of them, light shone forth and they continued on...[/i] Chole: Just to save up your energy... *rests crossbow by his shoulder*[/COLOR]

[COLOR=darkblue][i]Liam threw the invisible figure across the street, leaving a thick film on him, making his arm and upper body invisible...[/i] Liam: *looks at his hands* Lupos: Where'd he go? Zack: *points to the side of the L.A. street* [i]Lupos dropped his sword and ran towards the side of the road. Zack was the only one who seemed to sense his presence...Lupos walked blindly to Sion's body before he could get up and held him down by the throat. Lupos charged back and slid him forward, covering his back with dust. Faster than Sion's body slid, Lupos ran ahead and grabbed his shoulders, turning his body around and slid him back, this time, much harder than he ended up sliding viciously on the black asphalt, face first, ripping him apart. Liam saw the dust covered body and flipped over the SUV, doing a drop kick on Sion's back and lifted off, joining Lupos' side. Zack recovered his senses and got to the drivers side of the SUV. He started the engine, put it in reverse, cut the wheels to the right and gunned it, running him over. The tread marks appeared over Sion's back and he was left motionless on the ground. Lupos and Liam checked his body, rolling him over.[/i] Lupos: That was too easy... [i]Sion: You're right, boy, that was merely a shadow...nothing compared to what I have become now... ~Siren came flying out of the rift, translucent from the dark matter, and landed on the ground with force.[/i] Liam: Siren!!! Siren: No! Don't come any closer!! Liam: ?? [i]Sion rose from the rift, his body pale. Rising up in the middle of the air, he grabbed Siren and threw her to Liam. He caught her and set her down, unconscious...[/i] Sion: What are you going to do now? [i]Sion jettisoned off into the dark L.A. skies, leaving the four in the cold darkness, the rift still wide open...[/i][/COLOR]
