Gaming About ROMS (nothin violatning your policy, so dont worry)
RicoTranzrig replied to a topic in Noosphere
Yeah, they're on sites, but those sites are rapidly decreasing in number...kinda like warez and cracks. They're still out there because they still think that rule applies (ignorance). Plus, not a lot of people go through the trouble of tracking down sites that post ROMs...'cause there's just too many of them which probably won't be true in a couple years. Once in a while a site does get closed down because someone finds out and decides to take action. Also, it's hasn't been nationally adressed so no government agency is going to take serious action. -

Darkness and light cover me Intertwined with my body, my soul. Walking through The trees The mud The rain The light penetrates through the leaves giving me sight. There may be no way out of the forest. Even if I perish. But, hope shines through. So I can find a good resting place. -
OOC: Please don't tell me that you killed yourself off of this RPG... ~~~~~~~~ Chole: Liam!!!! Chole reached forward on the suvailence monitor as Liam's body disappeared... Pi: No... Siren: Was that the last of the survivors? Sentry: Confirmed, we have all citizens deep in the underground shelters. What remains now is us... Chole: He still alive! Isn't he?! Siren: We don't know... Iris: What now? Pi: We get rid of these things...if we know where they came from... Sentry: Periscopes report that they came from Meteo City as it ascended into the air. Siren: Are they still dropping? Sentry: No... Chole: Are we going to fight back...? Pi: We should launch as soon as possible. The holographic monitor on the side of the room focused onto one of the pods that lay on the ground. It was shaking more and more violently...it cracked open, coming out of it was a winged creature, carrying a light staff. It looked...human. More and more pods shook and hatched, producing the same creatures. Rena: What is that!? Siren: New breed of hunters I see... Pi: What are they after? Chole: Probably more hybrids... Siren: But they know that when they finally merge with Venus, we'll be too close to the sun...and we'll all die anyway. They hybrid warriors began picking violently at the ground with unnatural speed...trying to get to the underground shelters inside... Iris: We can't let them...

As Lupos and Liam drove through the L.A. freeway, they saw the darkness projecting from the rift...it was a new moon, but sky was much darker than usual. Lupos merged off the next exit and headed towards the beam of darkness, in it was the aura of Siren...caught inside. Liam: I don't see Sion... Lupos: He's there...hiding... Liam: How would you know... Lupos: He said all he needed was one demon to become what he is. If he swallows another one whole. Liam: I don't feel anyone besides Siren and Zack... Lupos: Maybe he went in...deep under... The SUV neared the rift in the middle of the deserted road...they saw the crack with Zack beside it and Siren's silhouette... Liam: Stop now...we can't get too close. Lupos stopped the SUV and they both got out. They approached Zack and helped him up. Lupos took him back to the SUV so he could rest. Liam peered down into the endless abyss and saw Siren floating inside. Liam: Siren! Siren: I thought I told you not to come... Liam: Zack was in danger... Siren: Then I thank you for saving him, but now I need to take care of a more personal matter. As Lupos set Zack in the back seat... Lupos: you're gonna be alright... ...something from behind pulled his neck sharply, throwing him down on the ground with such force that the ground cracked, sending chunks of asphalt up into the air, landing around him and the SUV. He quickly go up and looked around. Nothing. Lupos: Liam! Siren: Our younger brother is calling you... Liam stood up and headed over to Lupos who was covered with the streets.. Liam: What happened? Lupos: I didn't see it...but I felt it... They heard something running around them. Impervious to their visions. Liam and Lupos stood back-to-back and unsheathed their weapons...the hasty footsteps stopped and silence blanketed the cold L.A. dakrness. Zack: What the hell is going on? Lupos: ... Liam: Zack, stay still... Liam and Lupos both knew what it was. The rift that was opened...it contained the darkest of matter, Creep. And whoever was running around them was blanketed in it. Ready to do a dirty battle. Lupos: Sion...you coward... The first charge came...towards them...

You've changed... Not the same anymore. Burned up. Your light's gone. Fly away. The ash flows Through the air. One parts per million souls. I can't see it. The dust gets in my eyes, light bending through. But once I reach water. Maybe, I'll be able to see you. That one speck in the air Blanketed by darkness. But you're there. and I...have a match to spare. -
Cool ;) If you're planning to put up more poetry, I recommend posting in "Today's Poem."

Chole turned around and joined up with Siren and Liam... Chole: What's wrong? Siren: Nothing...just pre-battle jitters... Liam: It'll be hard getting out of the water like that... Pi: And the lift's broken so no chances there. Chole: What are we going to do once we get to the surface? Liam: Not so fast...we still have to deal with the fishies. Pi: That's easy, we'll just polarize the plating so it'll be near indestructable... The soldiers greeted the group and led them into the launching bay. Iris: Hm... Inside there were tons of pods laying around, spherical shaped, capable of holding no more than two people inside. They had boosters and a glass casing, nothing more than an ejection device. Pi: These things don't fight back, but it'll get us where we want to go...Meteo City... Chole: Are they ready? Siren: Pi? Pi: Well, they're still checking up on the pods...they haven't been used in quite a while. Chole and Liam walked around one of the pods, running their hands through the spherical bubble. Liam: They seem to be in good condition... They felt a heavy rumble throughout the room. Rena: What was that!? Outside, the first layer of glass was being penetrated and breached by a cluster of metallic hybrids. Water was leaking through and the city was being evacuated even deeper under the ocean floor. Pi: *looks at his comm device* They're coming through...I don't think we have much of a choice though. Siren: What is it? Pi: Let them through...at least we won't drown. Liam: But the pods... Pi: They'll take some time to get preped up...but they'll be ready for us. In the meantime, we should get ready for a couple encounters... The centeral command station of Celes modified the glass plating of the entire city to let through any foreign object into the dome, leaving the water out. As the metallic creatures plunged into the dome, they left small craters throughout the city. Thousands of them fell from the ocean above, shattering buildings, destroying parks, and decimiating everything...but the pods stood still...not moving. But the destruction wasn't over yet...

Chole eyed the skeletal horse. It looked and smelled of death, but he wasn't disturbed by it. Chole felt a sort of calmness in its blood red eyes. He stared straight into them and felt a deep connection to them. Everything that he had gone through shone in that instant, blocking his perception of fear. Chole: Hey, I'll ride one... Liam: Not feint of heart eh? Chole: It doesn't bother me... Viper: .... Liam summoned another horse, the ground under the seal he created ripped open and the darkness shone within. The same smell of death and sin came up from its breath as it stepped out and stared straight at Chole. Though he never flinched. Liam: Ride it... Chole set his crossbow by the dark horse and mounted on it. Peri: Remember, you two have to get off before we reach Artheri. Viper: And we still have to look for Tidus and Yuna... They continued on, Chole and Liam leading the group to lookout for any evil spirits besides the two Ebony horses that stuck closely by them, under Liam complete control. Alan: Those horses... Viper: Your brother is sure taking it well... Peri: That's probably 'cause you two come from different backgrounds but have the same blood...I know Chole has gone through a lot more that you, Alan. Alan: And how would you know that? Viper: They way he fights...the way he talks...just the way he acts is completely different from you. Alan: Oh I feel a whole lot better... Peri: You should... Viper: There are some things that people should never know about...

Liam and Lupos watched in silence as Siren and Sion slipped into the rift... Lupos: Should we do something? Liam: It's your choice...call the shot. Lupos grabbed the key to his SUV and headed out. Lupos: Who are we going for? Liam: Just Zack. It wasn't his fight. They both walked into Liam's armory and looked around. He had shelves full of antique and modern weaponry. Lupos walked around and grabbed two long knives and stuck them in his boots. He then grabbed a long sword with ancient nosferatu inscriptions on them. Lupos examined the blade before sheathing it behind him. Liam: Take good care of that one. 960 A.D. Lupos: How about you? Liam: I have my four guns...that's all I'll need for this one. He put up a fighting stance and then stood straight up. Lupos: Espa... Liam: She could get some good combat experience out of this. They disappeared through the walls to meet her, still in the dimly lit room. They found her there, sitting in the darkness, asleep, not saying a word, with a book in her hands. Liam walked up to her and took the book. Lupos: What was she trying to do? Liam flipped through the pages in the chapter she was in. Liam: Some kind of ritual...Lupos, have you ever summoned before? Lupos: No, I haven't... Liam: Give her time to recover...I think she really messed herself up. Lupos: What happened? Liam took Lupos's arm and led him outside... Lupos: What is it? Liam: She summoned a third person...other than the one she was fighting with. Lupos: What's happening to her? Liam: That's for you to find out. I don't really know either... Lupos: .... Liam: Let's go...she'll be alright... They both got into the SUV and drove away to the fight with Lupos at the wheel... Liam: Lupos...ever since your embrace and enterance into the Nosferatu, we watched you grow and advance into the higher ranks. I remember them saying that you had a lot of potential and you used your abilities for us. Lupos: I went out of control... Liam: You did, a couple of times...but that was only during the fighting. That happens a lot... Lupos: So what now? Liam: I'm saying that you have a good heart. You were given power and you knew what to do with it. Not many Nosferatu ever achieve that amount of dicipline on their own. Lupos: ... Liam: Look, you Embraced Espa with no regrets at all...don't start having second thoughts now...just keep moving forward. Lupos: Let go... Liam: Yeah...You have to do that...now more than ever...

Lupos walked behind Liam peering into the looking glass... Lupos: What is it? Liam: It's siren...she's in combat.. Lupos: We should go help... Liam: No...we watch. It's her fight... Lupos: She could be killed, you know that? Liam: I dunno...you might learn a thing or two from it. Lupos: ...how can you say that? Liam: She'll live...but do you think her mind will afterwards? Lupos stayed silent after that...looking into the mirror with LIam...

Rico: ... Sala: Man, do you have a sense of humor or something? Rico: Yeah...I left them back in VR... Sala: Mind if you go get them? Rico: As long as you come with me. Sala: Whoa...no way am I putting on all of that stuff on me. I'm clean... Rico: So you'd rather spend your time cooped up in this gloomy place. Sala: I prefer reality than fantasy. Rico: I pity you. Raiden: ... Rico: I'm just saying...I have my ways of fun...you have yours. Don't push me...*walks away* Sala: What's up with him? Raiden: He has a kid coming along and he's not gonna see him for a while... Sala: ... Raiden: You know Rico though...he's really nice...but this is the first time he really got attatched to that girl in VR...she's out there...and she's having a kid so...it's stressful for him. He's moody... Sala: His baby? Raiden: No...you know how the Matrix works...a couple guys come along and impregnate her and then leave her to take care of the baby. Rico was kind enough to help her out. Sala: I see...*whispers* I'm sorry, Rico... Rico slowly turned around... Rico: It's alright... He turned back around and joined up with Warlock and Flash...

Liam sat up and joined Alan and Chole. Chole: What? Liam: You look like a little kid...with no armor on. Chole: We're safe for now...it's morning, and we're we have a lot of anti-ghost crap. Alan: *looks up at the mountain* Do they expect us to go after them? Chole: We can hold on our own. Liam: *Picks up Viper's pack* and take their stuff with them? Chole: Hold on... Chole stared at the tiny dot in the distance and focused in...he saw Perigrine breathing hard with sweat dripping down her face, hair and clothes soaked. Chole: ;) Liam: Shall we start? Alan: Let's just take the horses...where are they? Liam looked into an empty ravine nearby... Liam: Don't wanna say it...

The producers held Rex captive inside their fairly large transmision station out on the water, on a boat. Producer: Now that we have you, are you going to cooperate or not? Rex: I'm not going to follow what you say until you promise all of us freedom and a home. Cast Director: Oh? I thought you were happy here.. Rex: Are you joking?! Producer: Okay, okay...I'll try to work something out with the CEO of this station, but no promises...this show has gotten the best ratings ever since it started... Rex: Really...then you should have no problem giving us a nice home. Producer: Are you kidding? They like seeing you guys toil and struggle...they've learned a lot from you and your friends. Rex: It's just common knowledge...making fire and curing poisions aren't that hard. Producer: We don't know how to do that... Rex: But do you really have to put us through this? Producer: Can you hold out for another month or so? Rex: ...can you let me go now?

Writing Today's Poem [M -- As a Precaution]

The camera. It sees what no one else sees. Once the insect gets its hands on it. The photos inflict the most vile poisons on it... As it crawls through the exposure. Eventually intoxicating it with colors and lights. Soul stealing...they all fight. Within it's mind, it only knows what it sees. -
I thought I'd put this in here. It was a project for my World Literature course...told to make "Magical Realism" stories for children...here's the rough draft version (rushed) and I'm currently working on the final draft which I'll finish later this month ;) Most of the elements are from ICO...compressed and abridged...a lot... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Tombs They took him. The day he drew his first breath, the nightmare started. Every thousand years, a boy with a tail is born in the village. Any misfortune that befalls on the village is blamed on him. If a crop fails or someone gets sick, he is the one to be blamed. Everyone wishes for the day of his sacrifice and the return to good fortune. For Chole that day was his sixteenth birthday. When his tail grew large, the villagers knew it was time. The elders would sacrifice him to keep the spirits from harming the village. In the morning, several horsemen with masks arrived and took Chole away. They seemed to have no faces and it frightened Chole. They rode deep into the forest and beyond. The journey ended at an ancient fortress ruin that stood crumbling against the harsh gray seas. The faceless horseman blindfolded Chole as they entered the desolate castle. From the corners of his eyes, he could see one of the horseman reach for his sword as they stopped. He held it up and Chole screamed out loud. He thought he would be killed then and there. The sunlight reflected off the sword, setting it on fire. The horseman held it high and they continued onward, going down many stairs. They continued to walk for a while when they finally stopped again and the faceless horseman finally removed the tight cloth from his eyes. He saw a large room with rows and rows of horrifying crypts that seemed to laugh at him against the stone walls. The horseman raised up the sword, now calm, and pointed its sharp edge at an open tomb, hungry for Chole?s soul. ?This is for the good of the village,? the faceless horseman said to Chole as he lifted up his small body, placed him into the crypt and locked him inside the stone prison. They left him there, alone, cold, crying for help. For hours he did this, but to no avail and he finally fell asleep. As the last rays of the sun refused to enter the small crack in his stone prison, he also gave up as well. A twist of fate granted him a short stay inside the stony tomb. A dream within a nightmare showed Chole a vision of a ghostly beauty that drove him to escape. She emerged from the shadows and took form inside a cage high atop one of the castle?s towers. He couldn?t explain it, but, as she emerged from the darkness, she had a name. Iris and she looked at Chole and smiled. When he awoke, it was day, and he was in the center of the cold tombs. Chole stood up and looked back at this stone prison, which lay in shambles. He was free. He looked around and saw the set of stairs where he came from the night before. Not bothering to check the other crypts, he made a run for the door, which also beckoned to him. Chole crossed it, breathing hard. Spider Wraith Chole entered the next room, which was completely different from the large chamber he was in before. Though the room was much smaller, he looked to his right and noticed a spiral staircase that led to the top of what seemed to him like a huge tower. He took the first step and began to climb. As he climbed, he quickened up his pace, breathing heavily as his footsteps echoed throughout the tower. After a few minutes, he started to get tired and started remembering the dream he had of the girl trapped in a cage high atop a tower. He looked up and noticed the metal wires of that very same cage. The sight of that forced Chole to wake up and pick up his pace. More curious than ever, the time he got to the top of the staircase, he looked inside the cage and found no one inside. Disappointed and sad that he was only dreaming, he started to cry again, leaning his back toward the stone block wall. It was a silent cry so that none of the soldiers guarding outside would hear him, if there were anyone left. He heard someone else crying, further up the tower. He looked up and he saw her, her tears sparkling in the sun?s morning glow. The rays of light seemed to go right through her as she lay there, also crying. Her dress and light hair flowed around her. Chole called out, ?Is anybody there? Who are you? What are you doing there?? He looked above him. ?Hold on.? The girl stopped crying stood up and just stared at him, her blue eyes seemed purple, looking into his soul for nay trace of a good heart. Chole looked around and saw a small doorway, leading out of the tower. He rolled his eyes and ran upstairs to meet her. She stepped forwards slowly, looking around the room as Chole did and spoke in a foreign language. ?Hi, who are you?? ?Were they trying to sacrifice you too?? Chole said back. She pointed to herself. ?Iris,? she said. Chole?s dream was becoming more of a reality. They stared at each other before Chole finally spoke up. ?Chole,? he said, also pointing to himself. Little did they know the sun shifted in the sky and changed the direction the light came in through the tower?s windows. The light no longer was on Iris and the wall in front of them. The shadow that the wall cast revealed a figure in the form of a spider, trying to grab hold of Iris as the sun kept moving. She screamed needing Chole?s help. He tried to grab hold of Iris, but he couldn?t, his arms passed right through her. The shadow moved closer, almost consuming Iris. Chole had to think fast. The exit was right there, but he couldn?t take her there. Instead, he reached out his hand, asking her to trust him. ?This is a really dangerous place. We should get out of here!? Chole said as he took her delicate hand and made a run for it upstairs. She trusted him, even though they knew each other for only a few moments. They were both scared, but not as frightened as when they were alone. They finally reached the top and slowed down. Iris walked over to the door, still holding Chole?s hand and opened it with a small push. The facial expression of the door changed at the sight of her and it moved out of the way, faster, granting them passage. ?How did you do that?? Chole asked her but she couldn?t understand. Chole looked back and noticed that the shadowy figures were no longer following them. ?Shadow Wraith,? Iris said to Chole, the name of the creatures they saw. Chole nodded and took her hand once again, leading her out of the tower, little did they know, Iris? mother was watching very closely. Fear of Falling The fear of eternal confinement gave way to Chole?s fear of falling. Coming out of the tower, they found themselves standing on an old stone bridge that seemed to be very dangerous crossing it. Chole and Iris each took a step forward, feeling the bridge bend to their weight. Even though they were very light, the old bridge was still dangerous with the waters beckoning to them. As they reached the center, the part of the bridge they were on cracked and crumbled, forcing Chole and Iris to leap and run forward to the end of the bridge before it collapsed. They made it across, running in to the next tower. They were both shocked and tired and noticed a couch right next to the entrance, one of the very few items of furniture that was left in the castle. They both sat down, breathing hard, and holding each other?s hands as a bright light engulfed them, making both of them sleep. They both awake to a brightly lit room, which was in much better condition than the other one they were in. There were no stairs this time, but a long path, littered with torches on the walls. The way seemed long, but it was wide and calm. They seemed to be on the safe side for now. They held hands again and headed towards the light as the end, which seemed to be the exit of the tower. Once they got out, a huge wall of wind overwhelmed them and sent both of them to the floor. Chole recovered his senses and got back up. The wind did not overwhelm him as much anymore and he was able to help Iris up without much effort, standing up against the force of the wall and the howls around the castle?s walls. They walked around the outer platform and discovered another set of stone stairs, leading upwards. As they climbed up, Chole was even more terrified of the wind knocking him off into the waters below. But Iris held his hand tightly and smiled. That kept both of them safe until they reached the top. They looked out and realized this was the highest point in the ancient fortress. Chole could see everything, including the bridge that broke down on them earlier. But what really caught his eye was the front of the castle, not too far off from where they were now. Somehow, he had to get there, somehow, they both had to overcome their fears, especially now that a ladder, leading downward, stood in their way. Fortunately, the wind was dying down. Chole led the way down, going first. Iris was still a little scared, but she made it was well. For the first time, Chole noticed that Iris had no shoes on her feet, but her feet and hands were still smooth and white as fresh snow, warm to the touch. He felt bad that he made her go with him around the castle, but it seemed that she was enjoying it and she really wanted to get out of the castle with him. As Iris joined Chole?s side again, a cart was waiting by their side. He helped her up and pushed forward on the switch, making it go forward suddenly. The cart went around the castle, going in the direction Chole and Iris wanted it to go, towards the entrance of the castle where they could easily get away. Iris got scared when she looked down at the waters below them and sat down, holding on to Chole?s leg. Strange enough, her arms didn?t go through him when she held tightly. The height didn?t affect Chole as much as he felt her fear. He needed to be strong for her to get through. The touch of her hands gave Chole the strength, he needed the glow around her, and it surrounding him, staying as they rode to the next tower. The rails ended by the flat circle roof. Chole helped Iris off the cart and they started to explore. Both were very happy to find a set of stairs that led downward. They walked down at a normal pace and ended up in the castle?s courtyard. The Queen The tower they climbed down seemed more like a giant stone statue in the shape of someone. But neither Chole nor Iris noticed it once they reached the middle of the courtyard. Both smiled at the beautiful garden, which was saved from ruin and age like the rest of the castle. They also smiled because they were almost free. They entrance to the castle stood right in front of them in the form of a large wooden bridge. ?The exit! Please take me with you!? Iris said happily in a small, quiet voice. ?The gate?s open!? Chole took her hand and started running. But they stopped. One large obstacle stood in front of them. Soldiers. They were placed all over the castle?s entrance, motionless. Some were in the windows with bows and arrows and there were others walking around, looking for something, or someone. A voice called out to them, ?So you?re the one who?s been leading my daughter aimlessly through the castle. Who do you think you are, white-tailed boy?? Chole looked behind him and noticed his tail trailing behind him. He didn?t notice it until now. It shone a dim white. She walked out of the courtyard?s shadow covered wall partway, much like in Chole?s dream, but she seemed to have no body, no form. Dressed in black, she was floating inside the shadows. ?This is my one and only daughter you?re holding hands with. If I were you, I?d leave this place and my beloved Iris as well!? She came closer and spoke to Iris in her own language. ?What are you doing hanging out with this boy of horns leave him and join with me!? Chole had no idea what she said, but it made Iris really sad. ?What?s wrong?? He asked. Iris didn?t move, only staring at her mother?s white face staring at both of them very harshly. Tears began to flow down her face. Chole noticed the soldiers stood still, looking at the entire scene. Without thinking, he took Iris? hand and they made a run for the bridge. As soon as they passed the castle?s gates, they were both sure that the soldiers would come after them. But she left the two to escape. To flee, both of them, away from the stone prison. Even though the soldiers had their bows and arrows aimed at them. They didn?t fire. Instead, her mother came out of the shadows, revealing her dark dress, covering her white skin entirely. She just stood there, in front of the gates with her hands raised, telling the soldiers to stop. With her hand raised, she squeezed her gloved hand hard, causing the old bridge to creak and crackle. It started raining and the bridge swayed under Chole and Iris, putting fear into their hearts. Something made Chole turn around and go back, but Iris pulled in the other direction, towards the woods where their new life lay, away from captivity. That split second, their weight broke the part of the bridge they were on, falling into the waters below, their hands still held tightly. The Queen only turned around and walked back into the castle where she disappeared into the shadows once again. She had treated Iris badly and she no longer wanted to hurt her. Maybe, just maybe, Chole would be able to find her the happiness she truly wanted, if they survived the fall. Water and Wood Chole awoke to the rain on the sandy beach not too far off from the castle?s island. He was soaked with water and wood planks poked at him from the sea. Somehow, he survived. But where was Iris? As he lay there, he began to cry, tears streamed down his face and were washed away with the rain. He missed her and he thought of all the terrible things that could have happened. He feared that he would never see her again. He got up from the wreckage and started walking around the white sand beach. Pieces of the wooden bridge were scattered and he tripped and fell on one of them when he called for Iris. He hurt himself again, landing on his head. Chole was dazed when he slowly got up again. That was when he saw her, lying there on the sand. Chole ran to Iris, who was lifeless in the water, and pulled her out. He pulled her out of the water using his arms and set her down further up the beach, near land. Iris no longer had the white glow around her or the flowing hair. She was normal, with cuts and bruises from the fall. Her eyes were closed. Chole looked behind him and noticed that his tail was no longer there but he focused his attention on the well being of Iris. She was breathing, but she couldn?t wake up, no matter how much Chole called out to her. He almost gave up hope and ran into the forest. But he stayed with her, holding her hand. As he held it, she started to move. Slowly, she woke up. Her eyes flickered open and she rose from the white sand. The rain stopped and the wind began to blow again, but much more gentle. Chole helped her up and they walked into the wooded area, hand in hand.

Chole, Faye, Pi, and Roux hung out in the back kitchen... Chole: This is serious... Pi: Are we even ready for all of this? Faye: Probably not...Well I know you and Siren are...but most of you guys are children...barely even past the age of 18... Chole: But we can't just sit here and eat like they are... Faye: Chole, I know you're concerned about them. Let them have their fun... Chole: And when it comes time to fight? Faye: You won't go in head on. Chole: But that might be the only way we can stop them. Faye: There are other ways... Pi: If we go now...we'll be killed. Faye: My mom and dad weren't like your ordinary hybrid. Even my sister was able to have such great abilities at her command. Chole: How about you? Faye: Me...I was born in peacetime so I was lucky...but I didn't have those things becaue I never needed it...just like you don't really need your breath until now. CHole: But I know I had it... Just then, the alarms began to sound all throughout Celes. The four of them stood up and walked over towards the nearest terminal... Pi: What is it? Faye: We never anticipiated this...they're attacking us! Rays... The first survalence videos showed many fish-like creatures travelling towards the city at high rate. They were falling from the sky by the thousands. Almost metallic in nature, they carried massive body plating and one long propelling fin that danced around the water like raging flames. Chole: Whoa! Roux: *holds on to Chole's leg* Pi: Everything's going to be alright...this place as reinforced platings on the glass and a defense grid that'll last us for a long while. Faye: But if they keep pouring in... Pi: Then we're going to have a real battle on our hands if they get into the city. Chole: This place wasn't made for battle, was it? Faye: Defense only...that's why Celes never has any wars...well, until probably now. Chole: What should we do? Pi: First we have to secure the pods, and then we let the defense team handle this. Faye: You better prepare yourselves before hand... The first bombardments came...from all over the transparent dome, each Ray collided with the plating with all their might, exploding on contact...

Lupos's words penetrated the walls of Liam's manor into Espa's heart. Lupos: But also, rember, my dearest...you've been liberated from nearly everything that could constrict you from learning the truth. You have to keep in mind that you can't take in all the knowledge that you desire. Kira will be back... Espa: I know... "The more you get closer to the truths of the world, the more you'll be detached...and the more it'll be harder to live a quiet and peaceful life..."

Lupos: But she'll be back, without me... Espa: I can live with that. Lupos: Are you sure about that? Why is she bothering you anyway? Espa: So I can see...everything... Lupos: Kira allowed you? Espa: All of the evils of the world I could see...but little by little, I gained knowldege from her influence. Lupos: There is a fatal flaw in that... Espa: Which is? Lupos: Your life opens wide...open to anything...letting you see everything. Once Kira has you where she wants...all of her minions will come together in the evening of a new moon and fill you with dreams, no, nightmares that you can only begin to comprehend. Kira is only the beginning now that you've gotten in touch with her. Espa: What will become of me? Lupos: That I don't know...you'll probably be overtaken by her and your mind will be full of evil...and it will consume you. Lupos got up and melted into the shadows and looked for Liam...

Chole shivered.. Kool: What's wrong? Chole: I don't know... Liam: Its not cold or anything... The group started running towards the other end of the island, crossing the jungle floor... Sere: I have a bad feeling about this. Kool: We should slow down again... Rex continues sprinting... Chole: Rex noooo!!!! He disappeared in the distance....a couple seconds later, the could hear a net sprining up... Kool: Darn it...

Chole and Ky ended up in another slum in habited by three ghosts teaching limit breaks to those brave enough to actually go down there. Chole: Look... Ghost1: We can teach you things... Ghost2: We've been here for a couple decades now after the fall of sector 7... Ghost3: Will anyone come and learn from us? Ky: wark! Chole: *yawn* Its so nice outside...I think we should get a room by the waterfront...we'll be back. I have an idea... Chole mounted on Ky again and exited the alleyway, following the marchers in the parade. Chole blended in almost perfectly, aside from his clothing. The people didn't care... Annoucer: AND look at that! Well, I tell you Jim, I've never seen a chocobo with that color before in my life. Jim: The farmer coalition seems to be very happy with the celebration we have today, folks... The camera focused in on Chole and Ky as they smiled and waved... ~~~~~~ Back at home, Ma was watching the celebration on the airwaves and she saw her son there. Chole: Hi mom!! Ma: Chole!!! She stood up and screamed out to the top of her lungs. Ma: What is that boy doing? He'll have my wrath when he gets back! :flaming: ~~~~~~~~ Chole and Ky kept riding on until they passed the Junon Cannon, the largest weapon Chole had ever seen. It was nothing short of stunning. But they both thought it was really stupid to have a cannon that can't be aimed anywhere but foward... Chole: Tired... Ky: *nods* A girl dressed in oriental clothing was waving at them. Girl: Hey you! Come here! I have a treat for you if you get a room here! Chole: Huh? Girl: I'll tour you and your bird around Junon town. Chole: Okay... Ky: (Sounds good to me...better for Chole if he actually understood what she was really saying...but what am I thinking?...I'm thinking too mature.) Chole looked at Ky funny, wondering what he was thinking before they headed inside the inn... Girl: Welcome...it's just 50gil here and I'll take you to your room ;) Chole: Thanks *hands her the money* She took her upstairs to the 4th floor. The entire stairs and hallway of the inn didn't seem very clean. But once she opened the room for them. They were in heaven. Full accomodated room with complete furnishings, bathroom, bed, couch, a mini chocobo stable, and the most fantastic view of the sunset... Girl: I hope you like it... Chole: Wow... Ky: :D Girl: I'll see you tomorrow morning, just call me, I'll be downstairs ;) Chole: Thanks... She closed the door behind her as she left Chole and Ky to settle down. They both looked out the window and watched the parade still going on. It would continue all night until the next morning...but Chole was exhausted so he just watched from above and through the TV...

Syth: Flash, Warlock...get started on the probe... Flash: Alright, alright... Flash and Warlock walked off into the R&D room of the ship where raw materials are turned into pieces of equipment and components for the ship. Syth: Rico, once their done, you program the A.I. I'll get a plot set-up for it to follow. Raiden: How about us? Syth: Sit tight...we'll need you two during deployment. Sala: Great, sit back and do absolutely nothing... Rico: *sits on main helm chair and picks up the pyramind* In the mean time, we could try and decode this. Sala: Hey, if you wanna do it, it's yours...I don't even want to touch that thing.
