Liam: *takes out his desert eagle* Pi: *takes out his launcher* Chole: Is that neccesary? Pi: *puts it back* Siren: Quiet...and don't move...they're right by us... [i]The group remained motionless for a few moments as the group of vehicles and hoverbikes passed by...making lound noises. Maked men dressed in camouflage, rode on them, as many as three to a bike, they all passed by before Pi got his scope up again and took a look...[/i] Pi: Strange...they must be running patrols around the city...what is this? Chole: I dunno...but we should get to the Shelter...and quick... Siren: The eye of the storm... Iris: I...I don't know the way from here... Chole: A magic arrow socket...so I won't need arrows anymore. [i]Chole went to the well and took out his bottle, he sunk it in and pulled it out, screwing the top of the bottle. He sat down by the well and waited for the others.[/i] Viper: I don't really need anything here either... [i]Viper sat down by Chole, holding her Aeon staff.[/i] Chole: You think there might be quick work around here? Viper: Maybe...wanna? [i]Chole and Viper got up and headed into the Tavern to look for any bounty posts...[/i][/COLOR]

[i]Chole shook the bottle of water for any extra drops left and packed it back...he wiped his face with a spare cloth and got up.[/i] Liam: Are we leaving yet? Iris: Almost...we just have to get all this crap loaded... Viper: It's not crap...we could sell this stuff and get some stuff that we really need for crossing the desert. Alan: Oh yeah...that... Chole: Don't worry about it...we'll make it through. [i]The last of the packs were loaded onto the horses and the departed. Chole reared the pack and looked back at the forest...he snapped out of it and caught up with the party...[/i][/COLOR]

[COLOR=darkblue][i]Rico took a small turn off his street and there they were, the spectators. The race had already started and Rico pulled over to the sidewalk just in case the course fell into his path...and indeed it did. Several cars, all going over 150MPH passed by Rico, the air of the passing cars flowing through his hair. His TL swayed from side to side until the last car passed by. He started his car and headed over to the crowds...[/i][/COLOR]

[COLOR=darkblue]Liam: It'd be wise if we get into the city before they detect us... [i]Liam and Pi helped Siren up and they crossed the perimeter of the city, gravel touching sand. They ended up in a deserted road, a part of the abandoned industrial sector of Meteo City. Small warehouses and storage spaces littering the area. Chole and Pi led the way, moving them out of the road into one of the alleyways.[/i] Chole: Iris, do you still remember where your shelter was? Iris: Right in the heart of Meteo City...you think it might be hard to get into? [i]Liam and Pi set down Siren to let her rest on a concrete wall then they spread out to look for anyone coming...[/i] Rena: I hope those Hunters didn't get any of the kids there! :flaming: Chole: I hope they're alright... Pi: It's hard to tell since this area is abandoned...I'd bet a lot's changed ever since we left. Liam: How long have we been gone? Pi: *looks at watch* About a month or so.. Siren: Sounds accurate...we have to get into the major zones of the city to see if there is violence going on. Chole: Easier said than done... [i]Pi took out his scope and walked over to the abandoned road, looking in towards the center of the city, he put it on maximum magnification. But even still, it was difficult for Pi to get a clear picture since the city was many miles wide...and what he saw was the continuation of the abandoned industrial district of the city.[/i] Pi: Looks like we have it easy for a few miles...Siren, can you walk? [i]Siren got up[/i] Siren: Of course...just needed to rest my head... Chole: You think there might be an ambush... Pi: I know so... Iris: ... Rena: Iris! :( Iris: It's okay...*hugs Rena* Liam: We stay close... [i]They moved out of the alleyway and into the deserted streets, continuing deeper into the industrial district of Meteo City. It seemed abandoned...but Pi knew that something was wrong about that...there was no way they could have reached the city undetected...they proceeded with caution...[/i][/COLOR]

[COLOR=darkblue][i]Chole dozed off for a few minutes before he was finally refreshed. He got up and started to pack his things and get something to cook for breakfast. He crouched down to get his crossbow and realized that his hands were still bandaged...he unwrapped his left hand to find the blood still clotting, but overall, there wasn't much pain.[/i] Chole: *whispers* I'll be right back.. [i]Chole took off his bandages, revealing all the scars he had. He washed them off with warm water, pickedup his crossbow and headed out into the woods...He took a look around and noticed that most of the forest floor was empty, aside from a few squrrels that Chole had no intention of catching or eating. He continued to walk until he saw the giant hole in the ground that the dragon made. He stopped at the edge and looked down, thinking about Viper and Aeon and the dragon who took their lives. It angered him to think that he might only be increasing their suffering. But he was already bruised and bloodied from last night and he didn't want to hurt himself to death. He took another quick glance around and found nothing shooting his arrows at. He turned and headed back for camp. The rest of the group was waking up and getting ready to pack. Liam got to his feet and looked at Chole's bandages left beside the fire. He immediately propped up, thinking that he might be doing something stupid. He ran over to Alan and shook him awake.[/i] Liam: Chole! He's gone! Alan: Huh?! Liam: Not so loud...you don't want to alarm Lady Perigrine or Viper. Alan: How about Aeon... Liam: He could care less of what happens to Chole...but we have to find him... Alan: What if he just went out to relieve himself? Liam: Maybe...but we can't take chances... Alan: You're panicking... [i]Liam looked at the forest and saw Chole coming out of the forest with his crossbow, walking normally. Alan waved at him.[/i] Alan: We thought you abandoned us! Chole: Nope... [i]Chole set his bow down and walked over to Liam and Alan.[/i] Liam: Were you looking for something? Chole: Yeah, food... Alan: :rolleyes: Liam: Umm...okay...*whew* Chole: Were you worried or something? Liam: No...I thought you were going to do something to yourself. Chole: No...I had enough punishment yesterday...[/COLOR]

[COLOR=darkblue][i]Chole froze...he looked down at Rena and he didn't move. Something came over him...somehow, this was familiar to him. Like they've done this before. He zoned out for a while until Rena brought him back by hitting him.[/i] Rena: Are you okay? Chole: Rena, who were your parents? Rena: I dunno...*shrugs* [i]The sun began to rise, up on the desert side, the fire was almost out but with Rena, he managed to stay warm for the entire night...they both got up and walked to the border where the sand really was and got into position.[/i] Chole: How are the others? Rena: They're doing fine... Chole: Ready? Rena: Let's run together, okay? Chole: No problem... [i]Rena and Chole lunged foward, each going at the same pace at very high speed, kicking up huge amounts of sand behind them. Nothing was going to stop them from reaching Meteo City by high noon. Not the sand Raiders, the outpost at Zohpar, not the hunters, nothing...Rena and Chole smiled at each other once they crossed the worst of the sand dunes and ran on an even surface. Chole knew that something was strikingly familar about what they were doing, as if they did this as routine. As they ran, Rena looked foward and thought about it also. Beginning to put the pieces together of an unknown past.[/i][/COLOR]

He went back to his computer and recorded the battle date for furture reference...[/i] Icar: That was a good fight... [i]Icar logged in and went back to the helm and pulled his ship in for a closer look. His shields were down...but his hull was polarized to absorb signifacant damage...once he got in position, he turned his scanners to MMode to look inside the hull of the Azuela and Max's ship.[/i][/COLOR]

[i]The group jumped into the car and headed out, taking the busy streets where buildings weren't prone to falling on top of their heads before they even knew it. Taking to the highway, they were much safer...everyone kept caution while Vinn drove at high speed...[/i][/COLOR]
