It's been a while since we've talked about this, but it's still a really good game. You're pretty fast. I progressed moderately through the game so I'm at 88 percent complete right now, in the middle of completing one of the professional cups. I ran through the licenses so I got a whole lot of bronze awards. I stick to mostly the Japanese and German cars but I wish they had more of a variety, even though it would take longer to get the legal paperwork done before the game comes out. I hope they bring back a lot of the older cars in GT4 and a Used Car option. Now that they have the main racing engine done, the developer'll have a lot more to add in, like online play perhaps.

Well, Juu, you almost did...but we missed my friend's early phone call to go to the Metreon/Japan town. Another time though and I don't think I'll be out of control the first meeting.

They say it has a story, but I don't see it mentioned in the manual or anything. Check Gamefaqs for the complete story. Something about a timetravel and dimension hopping. Nearly identical to the Dreamcast version, the control scheme is simplified a little, meaning you have your Low/Fierce punches and kicks, no mediums, and 2 assist buttons to call out your two other partners for one move. It's very fast-paced, like the arcade, and plays a lot like Marvel Vs. Capcom 1. The only thing that's bad might be the sound. For some reason, the F/X don't seem as good quality as a normal PS2 game. But don't let that stop you from enjoying a great 2D fighter with 3 on 3 tag. I did find one thing interesting when I put the disc in my computer to see what was inside...there were modem/network drivers for online play, but they were never activated in the final code...strange.

I think it's having to do with really talking to someone of the opposite sex, a lot, like joking around with them or being really friendly to them. Sometimes you don't intend to, but you do it anyway, not that it's a bad thing...just someone else's opinion about you.

Rico crossed his arms against her chest and hugged her warmly, sitting on the pew nearest to them. She was at rest, but something was not right. Jenica ceased her lively kicking. He put on a worried face and concured with Valeigh. Rico: I don't feel her force against your skin. She waited for a moment, expecting for her to kick, or do something. Anything? Valeigh: ...you're right. Something's wrong. Athen and Spyder came to them in support. All four huddled closely, not paying attention to the crowd of people observing the entire series of events inside the large hall. Spyder: Nothing came out, correct? Valeigh: No. They noted that she never got any bigger during her two days pregnancy, though she felt as if her entire world had changed. Now it seemed that everything would be back to normal. If such a thing existed. Rico: Babies don't take two days to maturate and come out to struggle to survive outside the protection of a mother. I would think that life had only begun to develop. Athen: Perhaps the death of the Ochkik Haddah had something to do with this. Spyder: It could, but now we'll never know for sure. The fragments of It are spread out, incubating it's darkness in all things that are to be born. She pointed to a drawing at the top of the wall, right behind the altar. Depicted was an image of a moutain, casting it's shadow on a large town, much like the way the desert mountain blocked the rising sun from the city. It was a natural formation that was there long before people settled. Spyder: Sometimes, I begin to wonder if it's our mistake for settling here and never moving, letting the shadow eat us alive, never letting us see the light of day until it's too late. It gives the Ochkik Haddah much more time to do his wrong. Athen: The lightbearers did such a good job in guarding us from escaping, we really should flee from this place once and for all. It's been too long. It's what you wanted, right Rico? Rico: All I've seen is death here. How many people have I seen perish in front of my home? Valeigh: I wouldn't want to raise Jenica only to have her darkness be brought out. We have to give her the love and let her acknowledge it. Spyder stood up and looked at the congregation behind them. Spyder: We'll leave you two to accomplish that here. I'm going to force these people standing at the door to do what they're supposed to do. Come inside. The lightbearers began to pour in cautiously. Holding their staffs and hanging their heads low in mourning of the Ochkik Haddah's death. Spyder: Why do you cry for such a pathetic being while you have such power in your hands at the moment? They said nothing. Athen stood with her. Rico and Valeigh turned around, holding hands. Her voice was penetrating, powerful. Spyder: Did you forget your purpose? What your staff's power was initially intended for? Sellum knew and I would have ripped apart his being if he had not told me why you people exist with blue blood and towering bodies. "The sun lights the way for many people. But for this city, there is no light for them to look forward to and everything is thrown into chaos. Sellum brought you into existence so that the inhabitants would be protected and guided in the darkness." She pointed to Valeigh. "You know this girl. Which shows only a fraction of what you have exsisting inside you. The eradication of darkness is your main goal and you strayed away from that, letting this entire city create a false being, the Ochkik Haddah, to claim the lives of many, including my love." Tears came to her eyes, but she kept her composure. "Now I claim you as mine and send you forth to spread the light, if you can." She doubted that their hearts could be protected. Right then, she changed her decision. "Your staffs, I want them." One by one, staffs piled in front of her feet. "Your robes mean nothing, they may give you status, but not in my eyes." Athen took one of the staffs and created a fire over an empty basin that seemed to hold water. The lightbearers disrobed and threw the heavy cloth onto the blue flame. "Look at yourselves, you are not exposed. You are wearing clothing like many of the inhabitants of this city. You walk the streets like they do, only covered by the light. Discgraceful. Now strip your clothing like Valeigh had done briefly." They did so, exposing the deadly marks of sin on their bodies. Burning the rest of their clothing. "Why I humilate you, you may ask? I do this because you do not need all of this. Go to your closets, you will find a simple array of clothing and a lantern by it. Once you clothe yourselves and light your lamps, walk the streets not saying a word. You may be humiliated yourselves, it is to be this way until the people begin to wonder. "Walk in pairs; if there are any lightbearers that are still out there, bring them here. If there are people in trouble, use what you alredy know to alleviate the situation. There is nothing in your power that you cannot do with the staff. I doubt you can do this, even the most simple of tasks when you are so easily corrupted." Spyder turned to Athen and kept silent. The lightbearers began to stand and leave the hall. Leaving the four once again. Athen and Spyder turned to Rico and Valeigh. Spyder: Well, you're free to leave this place and begin your family, I guess. Rico: We will see. She kissed Rico and Valeigh on the forehead for the first time. Spyder: You two, so young, so innocent. You're lucky you haven't seen the worst the world has to offer. The situaion is okay now, but things tend to collapse. It might be wise to leave, escorted by Athen past the desert. Valeigh: When I glanced out the window when Rico took me for his own, I...I saw the forest next to the fortress, well protected by beings that can co-exist with the darkness. It might be best to keep close to the castle until Jenica is strong enough to fight the world... Athen: If you agree, Rico. Rico: I'm willing to take the chance here than out there. I have hope the lighbearers will come back for rest and see Valeigh and me as a family with the usual problems. Even though the darkness is still there, we stay together and hold each other close. Spyder: If it is your decision, then it is so. But I must ask, why? Rico: It's because of you and Harlequin, I suppose. I had no idea on what I was getting myself into when I took refuge in your home, only to find Valeigh inside later on, struggling for one another. Valeigh: You holding me during those bed-less nights also had something to do with it. Rico: You two set the prime example of what love is and should be from now on. Athen: Now, Spyder and I have been walking for too long. Perhaps it's time to join Harlequin. Spyder: I think so...*teardrop* but maybe first... They all stood up and walked out of the hall. Spyder led them as they walked the stone steps of one tower, facing the east, and emerged at the top, overlooking the entire land. It was still night, a new moon, complete darkness filled the land. They looked down and heard the noise of a gate opening. Moments later, standing atop the windy structure, they saw the dim lights of the lanters the lightbearers now carried with them. Two by two, they walked out of the fortress, heading into the east, slowly, starting their journey all over again, the way it was meant to be. By the day's ending, they would make it back here, but their new Sellum would not be expecting them anymore, neither would Athen. They would come home to Rico and Valeigh, nurturing Jenica with unconditional love. The lightbearers would witness this and integreate them into their daily lives before going out and retrace the steps of the the bright light that had been missing for so long from the land. The Ochkik Haddah was still present, but it was ignored. That radiance began to spread out as they walked out each night. Somehow, this was how it was. This was their dream so long ago, now true, and they could finally rest in peace.

I recommend not selling it too. Live has it's advantages, but you have to pay. For the PS2, each game has it's own network, some that you might pay for, but the majority of online titles for the PS2 are free to play online...

For me, since the waranty is expired and I'm comfortable working with hardware, I open/take apart my PS2 and give it a light vacuum to get the excess dust and then use compressed air on the parts near the main processor, where it can get hot. Gladly, I only do it when it gets really dusty because it is time consuming, but you get everything clean again. I used to cover it with the plastic and styrafoam cover the system was wrapped in, but someone dumped it... So far, no real problems, except for a few DVD movies from Blockbuster that won't play because of damage on the disc...

Well, if it's just that one game it could be defective. I'd go with Semjaza's advice to use a lens cleaner, soft brush. I have one from Memorex and that works well. You could try doing the diagnostic option, but I think that only works with DVD movies where it adjusts your settings to make the DVD play. My friend's PS2 is so dusty that you need to use solvent and hard scrubbing to take the settled particles out of the plastic casing, but it still loads...eventually.

Rico stood by Valeigh, and they stood by their companions as they tried to detest this unjust act against their own selves. Spyder, Athen, and Harlequin advanced towards the altar. All were pissed off as ever, seeing some of the lightbearers had participated in the ritual. Spyder, with eyes wide open in flames, took a deep breath and swiped the blade on the ground. Spyder: Is this how they conduct themselves. Pointless sacrifices, for what? Hoping for a better future? Pathetic. The last participant leaving the room heard her comment and hung his head in shame as he walked out. Athen: They are so lost. They've been doing this for too long. When you see all this archetecture around us, devoted to a higher cause, you know its futile. Rico and Valeigh joined them. Spyder spoke in a loud voice, as if a congregation had been present, awaiting her words. Spyder: He's right. All of this means nothing if none are willing to give nothing with a good heart. We would think that such an advanced order, such as the lightbearers, would know this. Harlequin: Heh, even Rico and Valeigh know it through their love. Rico and Valeigh looked at each other, and then thought about their child. Rico: I felt it...I was hoping for Valeigh to understand it too before the end. Perhaps our child might help you realize it, my love. Valeigh: You mentioned something higher that only exists when two or more people love each other. Athen: Yes, when you experience that feeling unconditionally. Something happens. It did to us in the past. Spyder: Not instantaneously, but you begin to wonder...why. Harlequin: We wanted you all to hear this and understand our plans to make a stand once and for all. Spyder sat, the others followed. Spyder: Rico, Valeigh. I'm looking at you two because one of you has ties to this Ochkik Haddah. Wherever malicious thoughts are, he is there. He is not supposed to be here, much like the undead walk this plane of existence. Valeigh looked down at the ground. Rico: I beleive he will come after her. Harlequin: And you might be right. We don't want your child to be taken and contaminated. Your Jenica possesses a force that has to be protected. Her mind must remain pure. Athen: Likewise, you possess that same power, except that the Ochkik Haddah took you at a later age, making it too late to gain complete control over you. Spyder: Yet, that being still has influence over you, despite Rico's efforts to free you from him. It has worked, but his call is loud and intoxicating. She was in tears now... Valeigh: What are you plans for me? Spyder: We need you to take a risk, a leap of faith, as some might call it. The Ochkik Haddah is looking for you and your bond with Rico prevents him from accomplishing that. Harlequin: To our knowledge, he must take on material form to actually see you because that is what you have clung onto at the moment. Valeigh: I cling onto Rico? Athen: An it has saved you, at least for now. Rico: So you would want us for him to take on that form so that you can have the chance to kill him off. Spyder: Yes, hopefully the way I want. Rico: What now though? Harlequin: At this second, he walks the walls of this place in the shadows, planting the dead to awaken when the time comes, much like at our old hideout. We want you and Valeigh to lure him out in the open so we can destroy him. It's risky, but you need to be strong to resist him...

Valeigh: Ugh... A sick look came over her. She closed her eyes and laid her head on the table. Rico put an arm over her shoulder and neared his mouth to her ear. He whispered softly. Rico: What's wrong? Valeigh: I...I don't know. I feel werid, like something's terribly wrong with me - I can't explain it...it just hurts inside... Tears were falling from her eyes as the minutes passed. She buried her head in Rico's chest as he held her, hoping the pain would subside. Athen watched for a moment before he got up and left to tell the others. She already knew... Valeigh: ... Rico: No bad thoughts coming to you, right? Valeigh: Well, except my own. Rico: Maybe it's something I did to you these past nights. Valeigh: We had sex...what else could it be? Rico understoond. He didn't really think it was possible with her mixed blood to be compatible with his. Then again, he didn't know much about how these things come to be. They were expecting a child. As for an exact time, it was uncertain. But perhaps their bond between one another would be the new life inside her. They also understood the dangers if they went out and fought alongside their companions. Her former master was still at large and probably already knows about their child. Naturally, he would want to take it from them when the chance presented itself. Rico: We need to talk to Spyder and Harlequin about this. A voice from the entrance of the kitchen Spyder: We know already. I know your situation, I've beared children long ago, what became of them, I will not disclose. Athen: But this alters our plans. Harlequin: Savor the moment before we have to start tonight. Rico: Start what? Spyder: We're taking back this city to serve as my safe haven. I will reign as leader to drive away something that should be dead. Valeigh wiped away her tears. Valeigh: How do you plan to stop him? Spyder: With you and Rico as the dealers of the killing blow. I will explain further. As for now, we should leave you be to discuss your future when this fight is over. She motioned for Athen and Harlequin to go back into the living room. Spyder put her hand on Rico's shoulder. He turned around and looked her in the eye. Spyder: Be faithful, she will be incredibly strong if you do. She then let go and left the kitchen. Valeigh kept silent. Rico continued to hold her as she wept because of the changes inside her. They would subside eventually, but it left many questions for them to answer in the short time that they had...

Gaming What games would you like to see for GCN?
RicoTranzrig replied to SaiyanPrincessX's topic in Noosphere
I really want to see the next Mother (Earthbound game) come out for the GCN sometime in the near future I miss that cult classic... I doubt Killer Instinct will come back in a new game, but I wouldn't mind seeing it around again. -
Harlequin stood up and walked towards the kitchen. Harlequin: Well, if you're serious about eating *waves hand into kitchen* here it is. Spyder: I think I'll pass. Harlequin lit the candles and torches inside and walked back to where Spyder was. Valeigh: I guess I have no choice ...and...for once, she actually felt a craving to eat, a lot... Rico took her hand followed Athen, who had already began to raid the cabinets for something good. Valeigh: Did you find any? Athen jumped down and held a few jars in his hand. Athen: Preserved junk... Her mouth began to water. So did Rico's, and they began to eat whatever they could find. Back in the living room, Harlequin and Spyder discussed their future plans. The lightbearers were still in their quarters, assuming that Rico and Valeigh were still in their room. Harleqin: Do you think Rico does really have Valeigh under his authority? Spyder: It sounded like it. And I felt their radience through the walls. Still...we have her former master after her. We should get rid of him. Harlequin: It was no use the last time we fought. We need to find another way. Spyder: I agree. From what I can discern, Valeigh holds a great potential inside her. Harlequin: You mean her kid? Spyder: No...not just that. She has the long forgotten abilities that can wipe out anything with a small chant, like the lighbearers in the courtyard. If we can bring that out of her when the Ochkik Haddah is near, it will be over. Harlequin: We're going to need Rico's help. Spyder: I know. Even then, her powers have not been fully realized yet. Her true intentions might reveal itself when she let's go. Harlequin: Rico isn't dead, so that is a good sign. Spyder: It is... She peered out the window. Spyder: The takeover of these lightbearers with us was quick and swift. We changed their minds easily, and now they're loyalty blinds them from seeing their true master. It is also possible with her. Harlequin: How do you plan to release her true power, by the way. Spyder: That I must ponder upon...

The sun rose clearly in the sky. Rico and Valeigh had calmed down and lay in each other's arms for a few more hours. Feeling heavy, needing one another. Rico: I think it's time. Valeigh smiled happily. Valeigh: Hi... She raised her arms and pulled Rico in close to her. Again, nothing would be able to seperate them. They felt each other's bodies in a new way as Rico pulled themselves up and hugged her in the streaming light. Their bodies cast a silhouette against the wall of the room. From that point on, they knew, this was meant to be. They got up and took another bath together, experiencing each other as their sweat covered bodies washed away. They were sure to experience that again soon enough... Valeigh tied her hair into a manegable knot and got dressed. Rico did the same, keeping close to each other. They each kept one knife by their side before holding each other's hand and walking out into the hallway. There, Harlequin looked at them, laughing. Valeigh: What? Harlequin: Four days...we could not sleep because of you two. Valeigh hid behind her love. Rico: So we were that loud... Spyder: Well, of course it could have been worse. Harlequin looked at her and shook his head. Athen: You missed all the tales that I shared... Rico: I'm sure you'll retell them later on. Athen: No way in hell.

Oo, that's a nice thought...kissing someone. Grr...I'll have to see if that is a possibility. :D

I used to enjoy their music, but then their new songs just got annoying. Add that with the radio overplay of "Still Waiting" and it's hard not to just hit another preset and listen to something else, waiting for the song to end.

Well, it's only morning right now here in California...and I just woke up so it's going to be a very long wait until we celebrate the new year. Normally, it's just a family thing, hang out around the game consoles among other things, like drinking. Then we use the person who has the most accurate watch (the atomic one my brother has) or count down along with the TV. Ah well, new number I have to get used to writing on my papers...

Kato: So this forest is like a safe haven. Laitina: Yes. I would love to leave this place someday. But...well...after you came, I don't think I want to anymore. Worry came over him. Kato: But...what happened? Laitina turned around and walked back towards the middle of the forset. Kato paused and looked at her gown as it flowed along with her hair. She seemed to blend into the backdrop seamlessly, in his eyes. He snapped out of it when she had distance from him and ran to catch up. She looked behind her, hearing footsteps. Laitina: What took you so long? Kato: ... She slowed down for him, giving him a funny look. Laitina: Why, you ask...well. Before you got here, this place was dying slowly. I've watched it as I moved around the forest in stealth. I never saw it coming. The plants just started...to rot especially at the heart of this place. I tried desperately looking for the source, but found none. She looked to the water. Laitina: If you can believe it, I weeped for months as my only home was being destroyed. The natural pool, from which you drank from, were my tears. Kato: My animal form drank, not me. Laitina: You had your hand in when you punched me. Kato: I'm thankful that you didn't hurt me. Sorry about that... Laitina: No need to apoligize. He extended his arms and looked around the grassy patch where no trees grew. Kato: So...do you think I have something to do with this? Laitina: This place wasn't like this the day before...I suppose I have to be grateful for that. Then you appeared and you're the only other visitor I've seen for the past few years. She seemed to look around for something. Kato: Few? Laitina: A few hundred years...perhaps others might have noticed this place from afar and ventured here to investigate. From where we are, it's impossible for them to find their way to us. Come on, let's walk around. She had a happy smile and waited for him to agree. He was just glad that he had someone else to talk to, even if she did seem to draw things out and exaggerate. But from what he experienced this morning, he didn't know what to believe. Without having any other preferable choice, he nodded his head and stood by Laitina's side.

Writing Today's Poem [M -- As a Precaution]
RicoTranzrig replied to Heaven's Cloud's topic in Creative Works
Three men, entrusted with a plethora of secrets. I am one of them. Hours on end to our conversations last. Dawn 'till dusk does the time pass. Only to those two do I share the darkest corners of my mind. No one can come around and break that bind. People break, they lie, cheat, steal. Even our most loved ones mess up the way we feel. Kicked to the side, we were, seeing them become ruined Snatched their bodies, they did, Leaving us with empty hearts, efforts lost in our midst. You say you care, a few kisses And you think that'll do me good. Then you go out and turn your back on your promise And expect me to carry on as I should. I can go on and play along with you But I wanted you deep down inside At first, being a place I could confide Only to find out the garbage you taste. Now you leave me alone to start in the arms of someone else You may have the pleasure, pain, and pride. But you won't see me again, not without having a heart. Together, we three come again, leaving you out. You are not a part of us You lie You cheat You steal. Just for once, maybe you'd like to understand how I feel. -
...both his eyebrows raised up. Kato: What are you talking about? Laitina eased her hostitlity towards this new person and patted him on the shoulder. Laitina: Let's walk out of here. I'll explain, try to anyways. Kato: Okay. It was hard for him to believe that this had happened to him. He thought of it as a curse and he beat himself up inside for taking up drinking at his preserved age of youth. He could turn into a horse the same way she could turn into a rock, from what he witnessed. Kato: Hey, thanks for healing my hand. Laitina: You know of magic, correct? Kato: Yeah, I've seen it a couple times, never done on me though. Laitina: You're lucky though. It could've been worse. Kato: :therock: Who does this to people. Laitina: I'm not sure. My mentor taught me. Kato: Didn't you just heal my hand with a spell? Laitina: No, I'm afraid not. I am Laitina, a shapeshifter. I sacrifice some of my..."blood" to you. It will return to me later. Kato: I'm Kato, a stupid horse. Laitina: Don't say that! You're...well...I have to see your form for myself, but I know you're not a dumb horse, you're still alive, aren't you? Kato: Then my animal form must be smarter than I was back then. Laitina: You don't know much time has passed since then. You heard your own voice in the wind...then the voice of your animal form. Kato: I wish I could remember at least. Laitina: Hey, you're thinking the same as me. When I was a rock back there, I couldn't really think straight. Kato: How did you find out you were like that? Laitina: Eventually I mastered it...until then, many centures passed... Kato: You still look - Laitina: Youthful? Yes...you do too, once it happens, we never age. Where did you wake? Kato: In the middle of the forest, or somewhere around there. Laitina thought for a moment. That entire area had been depraved, nothing left but rotting trees from an unknown plauge. Laitina: What was it like? Kato: Not bad...kind of like a hangover. But at least my clothes were clean and I slept on some soft grass, next to some warm trees. Laitina: Strange that you describe life there. However, I've seen many like you and I. And this is the first I've seen one change back into human form. You have quite a mystery to solve... Kato: Great. Laitina: I'm also curious as to where this might lead you. Care to join me? Kato: In what? Laitina: Travelling. I haven't ventured past the woods much and my teacher passed a long time ago due to her capture and execution so we won't find answers there. They followed the stream. Kato looked her in the eye and caught a glimpse of the color. Nothing like he ever saw before. He didn't want to end up being loneley. He felt glad meeting someone else who he could talk to with a tounge.

OOC: Don't worry... ~~~~~~~~ Rico: You are what you think you are. Valeigh: What am I to you? Rico: You are a part of me. I'm not letting you stray back to where you came from. Valeigh: You think I'm going to do that? Rico: I'm just making sure that you don't end up pulling anything tricky like that again... The sun had nearly risen and the others were preparing for the final stage. Time had slowed down a lot ever since they entered the room and it gave Rico time to think about what he was risking in order to be with her and actually believe that she was his.

The forest seemed to go on forever as he neared the mountains. Colder and colder the weather got as the sun passed above him and to his left. Sunset began and he could see the wall of icy granite past the trees. He shook inisde. Kato: Yes! Made it! But where was he going to go now? He slowed his pace and listened quietly to the new sounds of the night creeping in. Birds were still calling, but he was getting annoyed by it a little. The wind was not so harsh on this side of the mountain, which was impossible to climb in his condition. Something came over him. A powerful force that made him terribly drowsy, pushing him to sleep. He reflected on the past few hours in his unconscious mind. He didn't know that he shifted again into his animal form, walking about, bringing serenity to his surroundings. Kato did not know how muchc time had passed by, nor did he realize that his thoughts were carried on by the wind to early dawn. "Place...enchanted......like...here..." His mind drifted away as silent whispers. He had thought that the cause of his abrupt fatigue was the forest's doing. When he awoke, he felt completely refreshed, but his surroundings were very different than the one he had remembered. He believed that someone had taken him, that someone was playing a horrible joke on him by putting him to sleep and placing him in another place of the forest. Little did he know that his unicorn half galloped around, looking for a drink. He mumbled to himself again. Kato: Damn, not again... At least soft grass was under him again. He got up and took note of his surroundings once more. A stream lay beside him and the rock wall was still near. He saw that the stream originated from a natural pool a few meters ahead. A slight breeze brushed the area, Kato's thoughts from the night caught up with him. Gentle whispers of his own voice, aged and calmed through the slowness of time. He hardly recognized himself saying, ???: "This place is enchanted...I don't like it here." He suspected someone nearby. So he called out. Kato: Hello!? His call echoed through the small indentation on the mountainside around the rock pool. Curiously, he explored the innards of the small cavern. He talked again, keeping a nominal voice. Kato: If anyone's there, I need to know right now... He felt stupid. First he got himself lost somehow, blaming on his past drinking problem, now he thought he was sleepwalking and putting himself in serious danger. This time, he shouted out... Kato: Where the hell am I!!?? He focused his attention on a bright piece of the rock wall and charged for it. He punched it, expecting pain. His knuckles struck the hard surface and his hand started to bleed. But what he didn't expect was to hear someone else's voice right next to him, loud and clear. ??: Ouch! A voice of a girl. Kato was confused, but that thought was put on hold after a split-second when the pain rushed through him, forcing to hold his hand in the water to wash away the blood and numb the pain. Moments later, Kato looked back at the rock where his dead skin and blood were etched. He was sure the sound came from there. Just to humor himself, he spoke to the light piece of rock. He seemed to be going crazy anyway. Kato: Hey, sorry if I hurt you... ??: ! Kato: I'm not crazy, you know...

I like the S controller, but I don't really mind the bulky one either. They both fit comfortably in my hands. Though, I'll stick with the old one until they really start using the smaller ones later on.

Rico: I hope you're kidding about that. Valeigh: I'm no kid... He crashed into her violently, penetrating, and ripping her sanity apart. She loved every second of it as he pushed her over the edge and let her fall into a chasm of hard rocks. He would be the one to break her fall and snap her in two as she landed on him. She lost control of her body, spasms flowed through her. Jaw slack, head turned to the side against his chest; never did she let go of him as he continued to fill her up until she leaked with enjoyment and love from him. Rico: Damn you. She responded with a lazy voice. Valeigh: For what? Rico: For dragging me over the edge with you. Valeigh: You think that's it? Rico: No, we haven't hit the ground yet... Valeigh: Oh my god...

In an area not too far away from where Nepenthe and Jenica were situated, Kato awoke to the birds chirping around him. He awoke deep in the forest with an odd set of fresh clothes. He had been galloping around for quite sometime now but he didn't know what happened the night before... The last thing that came to his mind was the local tavern, not so local anymore from what he could tell from his whereabouts. Kato had no idea how long or far he had been travelling or how he survived with such poor judgement. Though his surroundings were serene and the forest ambience was soothing and started to pull him away from civilization. Kato: ...........I need to stop drinking. He got up and looked around for anything that could tell his way back. The sun rose from the east, that was a start, his home was north. He began to walk barefoot on the soft grass. It wouldn't hurt him to give this a try... "Hello!?!" His soft voice echoed through the woods, but no response. Little did he know that quite some time had passed since he ate a strange piece of food as he stumbled about, drunk as a drunk ***. It was crunchy, not too sweet and not too salty, given to him by a passing traveler. In an array of bright lights, this man left the foot prints of a horse, leaving Kato to collapse and undergo the same process as the stranger. He was far from his home, but closer to the dwellings of two indigenous beings. As he continued making his way across the forest, he began to let go of his former life and starting fresh, like the forest he woke up in...

That happened with a previous rental. I got it, but the disc was so smudged up, once I started walking around, the PS2 would have this clicking/snapping noise and then the error message would show. So I took it back and got a replacement. Vice City has a lot of real-time access to the DVD to keep up with the complex scenery. So take care of your DVD's and return 'em if you can as defective. Cheats mess up the saves, like in GTA 3 original. Did the tank thing many times, saved, then tried to load again at night, save was corrupted.
