Originally posted by Transtic Nerve The Cast looks very doubtful. Too many big names for a little movie no one knows about. Movies like X-Men and Star Wars have had very little known actors, I would expect the same from this movie. But honestly, with the release of Daredevil and Spiderman with well known actors, it coul dbe a possibility, but I still doubt it. I wouldn't be surprised if only one or none of those people are actually in the final movie. The only guy who looks promising is that Piccolo guy.
Hugh Jackman would have actually been a good choice for Goku, I think, but I'm sure they will pull some no-name actor out of a hat and give them the role for cheap. Their cast looks strong enough, even though I doubt that these are the actors we will see once the movie is released. Orlando Bloom is too much of a star now to play Tien, but in my bit of fantasy casting he would make a good Future Trunks. We'll have to wait and see what hapens with this movie, but Eliza Dushku would make a very good Chi-Chi. -Shy

Please read the rues about post wuality on our boards, and try to put more effort into the threads you make. This sort of a topic is ridiculous, and it is impossible for any intelligent discussion to result from it. I'm closing this topic, and warning you to try harder in the future. -Shy

I don't really see this generating any discussion, especially since the main purpose of this forum is to provide links to other sites. We do have rules about advertising and such, creating a thread specifically to advertise a website is not allowed. I'm going to close this, and hopefully you got the answers you were looking for, morpheus13. If anyone else would like to provide him with an answer they should feel free to PM him. -Shy

I live in Rancho Cucmonga, and we have some serious fires of our own right now. I wasn't able to drive home on the freeway because of the darn things, and as a result it took me twice as long to get home from work. Right now they are aboutone or two miles from my house, but we live in such a highly residential area that I can't imagine the firefighters lettings it get much closer. Two of my friends had to evacuate their homes during the weekend, and classes have been cancelled at the local high schools and my college. We're used to having fires in the area, but this is much larger and more severe than anything we've had in recent memory. The good news is that everyone's safe, even though Jenna is acting funny because of the smoke. Poor girl. -Shy

I don't know if Metrosexuality is going to change anything about the public acceptance of Gays and Lesbians. This is just some sort of trendy word that's going to fade away, and then straight men will go back to fearing and misunderstanding gay people. Being a Metrosexual doesn't even mean that they are accepting of homosexuals, it just means they act like them. In some ways this concept of "acting gay without being gay bothers me" since it only helps to further many negative stereotypes. I can't dance, I don't dress very well, and I certainly don't speak with a lisp. Maybe if these Metrosexuals would take on some of the positive stereotypes associated with being gay, I'd be more open to their decision to have a psuedo-sexuality. -Shy

Real Name: Joshua Callsign: Cowboy Age: 22 Gender: Male. Alliance: Southern Vipers. Biography: (Some aspects of the biography are being withheld so that his origins will unfold throughout the RPG) Joshua was born in a sleepy suburb of Los Angeles, California. His parents had hoped to leave the racial violence of the big city for Josh's upbringing, but their pasts' caught up with them one fateful night during the Los Angeles riots. An old friend had dropped by the house, searching for something he had given to them for safekeeping. When they refused to it over he murdered them both on the spot while young Joshua slept in the other room. From that point on he lived in San Francisco with his Grandparents, where he enjoyed a "normal" childhood. It wasn't until his teenage years that the murder of his parents began to haunt him, and slowly corrupt every aspect of his life. This problem, combined with his own sexual confusion forced him to run away from home and make a living on the streets as an escort. The work was steady enough, but Joshua found a desire for something more. His only true solace during this period came from his Wednesday nights at the Rock Hudson Memorial Bowling Alley, where he was a member of the undefeated "Mustang Sally," team. His love of the game, despite the troubles of his daily life, made him an exceptionally focused player. On the business side of things, he was extremely popular among wealthy investors and politicians. He traveled throughout the country for these special "rendevous'" with his employers, which gave Josh plenty of chances to see some of the United States' greatest bowling lanes. During his travels Joshua amassed a legendary collection of ornamental bowling balls. While traveling with a married Japanese ambassador he was caught by the police for soliciting and sent to a prison in Osaka. He stayed there for the entirety of his three-year sentence, where he became what is known as a Gakuya Abazure (prison bitch.) It was during this time that met James, a fellow inmate who ended up becoming the love of his life. Upon leaving the prison he had changed his profesional focus to security, and took up a job for the myserious "Adam" as a hired bodyguard and assassin. It was a line of work that he had a natural talent for, and this skill helped him gain prestige in the underworld. Through this prestige he has ended up working with some of the darkest figures in all of Japan, including Adam's Angels and Shigeru Miyamoto. Early on, Joshua was the sole American in Adam's group. This caused him to become widely known as "Cowboy" to Adam's henchmen, and to Adam himself (in spite of his own questionable origin.) Personality: Joshua is the quiet one in the relationship, because actions often speak louder than words. It's not that he has a short temper, it's just that he'd rather make some sort of effort to solve a problem than debate about it and accomplish nothing. He always tries to do what is best for his loved ones, even if it means hurting them at times. However, Joshua is smart enough to hide his true feelings about someone or something until he can accomplish his motives and get what he needs to. Most of his targets consider Joshua to be a friend, and never realize that he is attempting to murder them, even after the knife has cut across their throat. Weapon: A large butcher-style knife connected to a simple wooden handle. One side of the handle contains Navajo symbol for death as an engraving, while the other side's symbol has been completely carved out. This symbol was carved out after the death of Soju, his adopted child. Joshua carries the knife in a leather pouch attached to his belt. Picture: Joshua usually wears a cowboy hat of some sort, unless he is indoors or in the presence of a lady. He has a wide variety of them, and likes to wear different hats depending on the situation. Some are more outlandish than others, but most of the time he stays with a classic brown style. This is often accompanied by a simple pair of blue jeans and a t-shirt of some kind. In his back pocket he carried a red handkerchief which he uses to clean up after especially bloody skirmishes. For those who are curious, Joshua wears white boxers that are decorated with buffalos. Forgive me if there are some typos.
Originally posted by James Thanks for the compliments, Kitty. This is a "banner" for an upcoming Shy/James RPG collaboration. Adam will even have some important cameo appearances in it...it will be an RPG revolution, I assure you.
Yes, definitely. This RPG is going to make most Otaku Events look like a joke by comparison. No banner could do this monster justice, tee hee. Your "Kill Adam" banner is very good, and I hope it sparks all sorts of interest into this little endeavor of ours. (And yes, AzureWorlf, I'm going to plug this RPG into everyone on Earth knows about it.) As for the rest of your banners, I'm fond of the first Viewtiful Joe banner listed, as well as your Matrix Revolutions ones. I've always been a huge fan of your artwork, they look stylish without screaming "look at me, lol.I can do kewl stuff with banners!11" Keep up the good work, and try doing something with Bosko one of these days. -Shy
Originally posted by Semjaza Azazel That's about it. Maybe some Sour Patch Kids.
Now I know what to get you this year.... What I want most this year is just a bunch of DVDs, since I can't possibly afford to get all of the boxed sets that I would like to have. Family Guy Season 3, Simpsons Season 3, Looney Tunes Goiden Collection, Disney the War Years, the Chronological Donald Duck, Mickey Mouse in Color vol. 2, , the Uncensored Bosko volumes 1 and 2, etc. Any of those would be nice, but it's not like I need to have them or anything... Final Fantasy X-2 would be nice to own, if it's out by then. I'm having a lot of fun playing FFX right now, so hopefully the sequel will be equally entertaining. There isn't much that I'm looking for, all of the things mentioned above would be "nice," it's not like I desperately want them or anything. Hm. -Shy

The Baron may not be a moderator, but this Joshness is. If a member feels that your post quality is sub-par (and in this case it is) they should feel free to send you a friendly PM to warn you. He's probably trying to help you out and make sure that you aren't banned, so in that respect you should thank him. However, everyone needs to remember that it is only the moderators' responsibility to deal with problems like these, and everyone else should just find better things to do with their free time. Seeing as how much of this forum is devoted to a competitive card game it?s no surprise that this forum has become overrun by harsh and personal attacks towards the members who frequent it. Something as simple as a card game should not become a catalyst for any disagreements that our members may have. Lately arguments in this forum have grown out of hand, and the purpose of this thread is to remind members that while constructive criticism is always welcome, cruel remarks about a member, their decks, playing strategies, experience are not allowed in any way. If you see a member who violates this, or any other rule on our forums it is highly recommended that you use our Private Messaging or "Report This Post to a Moderator" features. They are the most effective ways of notifying a moderator about such problems, and by arguing back at them you would be breaking the rules as well. Please remember this the next time you post in this, or any of our lovely forums. Consider this your first and last warning on the subject, any offenders will be dealt with immediately from this point on. Cheers, -Shy :whoops:

Edit: Tori and John were removed from this post so as not to cause conflict with Tori's last post... yeah. I took a quick shower, and then changed into some random pajamas. I didn't plan on going anywhere, and I'd much rather be comfortable at breakfast than trying to impress everyone else. As I hurried downstairs I walked past D'Ann and Mitch, who saw the direction I was heading in and followed me down to the kitchen. Justin was cleaning a plate at the sink, while James and Ken sat on some chairs at by the counter. "So Jenna failed to buy us enough groceries for breakfast?" Mitch asked. "Correction," Justin replied, stuffing a piece of toast into his mouth, "She bought more than enough food for my breakfast." "Yeah, but what about the rest of us?" D'Ann asked, "You ate what little food we had, and now we're going to starve." "Cannibalism, fun," Ken laughed. "She was probably busy trying to get this place ready for us," James added, "We can always just run out to the store and buy some breakfast." "No, we can't," Jenna responsed as she walked into the kitchen, "We're in an isolated beach community. The nearest store is 20 or 30 miles away." "Well, long drives don't bother me." I responses. By saying those words I realized that I had just volunteered. Jenna smiled at me, and gave me a big hug, "Thanks Josh. Be sure to get enough food for the week, I don't want you to make a lot of trips." "Fine," I muttered darkly, "Will anyone go with me?"
Originally posted by Manic I also own 2Gether's CD. Don't ask. Just don't ask.
"I know my calculus, it says you plus me equals us!" Heh, I loved that song. They are the greatest boy band parody ever. I also bought that darn Ricky Martin CD because of "Livin' La Vida Loca," I sure felt cool owning it for about 30 minutes. I'm pretty sure I broke it on purpose, though. That's what happens to a lot of CDs I'm embarassed to have own. I have bad taste in music, so I often find myself embarassed about what I listed to. If it's bad and/or trendy music, chances are that I have purchased it at some point in time. Embarassed purchases include: Cher (Believe), Elmopalooza, Sixpence None the Richer, Jeniffer Lopez's first CD, Josie and the Pussycats Soundtrack and Christina Aguilera's Spanish language album. -Shy

OOC: This takes place during Jenna's meeting..um, yeah. "So we're making our own restaurant," Mitch asked Jenna, "And none of us know how to cook?" "I know how to cook," D'Ann repeated with a slightly annoyed tone of voice. "And I'm her assistant," Ken said, happy with his newfound position. "I don't really see where I fit into this whole equation, either," I added, "Even with a stretch of the imagination there are some of us who can't contribute anything to a restaurant. IE: Me." Jenna smiled at me, and patted my shoulder. "Don't be so negative, Josh. Even if you don't know how to cook, you could always work as a cashier or a waiter..." "..or a dishwasher," D'Ann laughed," Did I mention that I know how to cook?" "You can borrow my copy of To Serve Man if you're interested, D'Ann," Tony said, as Kitt rested peacefully on his lap. "James could design menus and logos for our restaurant... since he went to school for that...," Sara suggested. "Okay, but could I suggest a new mascot?" "No Bosko." "Rats."
