My goodness, sometimes the oldest and most respected members can be the most immature.... Anyway, everyone at my school drives me insane. They all seem to be unable to grasp simple concepts and ideas. A lot of people bug me on AIM too, especially the ones who want me to make a banner for them... N00be: Can you make me a banner? Shyguy: Who are you? N00be: Are you going to make it or not? Shyguy: I don't really feel like it... N00be: jhgkyuuyuotuto!!!! Shyguy: Fine, fine! What do you want on it? N00be: Dragonball Z characters Shyguy: Ugh...

NAME: Aba Oosed (ah-bah, ooh-said) AGE: 60 SPECIES: Ithorian LOCATION/HOMEWORLD: Coruscant, (Homeworld: Ithor) WEAPON: Republic Issued Blaster Pistol ALLIANCE: Republican VEHICLE/SHIP: Coruscant Air Taxi "Zenon" Description - Aba Oosed's personal transport throughout Coruscant is a slightly modified Coruscant Air Taxi. It has improved armor, technical sensors, and a covertible roof. Aba is fully capable of piloting the vehicle hmself, but because of his status in the Republic he chooses to hire a driver/bodyguard. FORCE CAPABILITIES: N/A CHARACTER DESCRIPTION: Aba is a noble Ithorian, who prefers to take things slowly rather than charge head-first into action. He wears a formal black suit, and during special occasions he can be seen in bright and extravagant clothing. Aba would much rather engage in a discussion instead of fighting into a battle, and he has very little combat experience. However, he is known to fight for what he believes in, and will help his friends at any cost. He keeps a close circle of friends, including several influential members of the New Republic. BACKGROUND/BIO: Aba Oosed was born on the planet Coruscant during the rise of the Galactic Empire. Born into nobility Aba was to be the latest in a long line of Ithorian senators, following in his father's and grandfather's footsteps. This dream came to an end when changes in the Republic forced all alien species out of the Senate. Many of Aba's closest friends and allies had escpaed from Coruscant, but Aba chose to stay on the planet in an effort to return the universe to it's former glory. Eventually Aba's influence and popularity among aliens on Coruscant earned him the job of ""Imperial Ambassador of Alien-Human Relations." This new position was created with the goal of extinguishing the controversy surrounding The Empire's improper treatment of alien species. Aba was able to travel the galaxy as a diplomat, which eventually brought him back to his homeworld of Ithor. When Aba reached Ithor he saw how The Empire had shaped his peaceful and prosperous planet into a wasteland. Aba returned to Coruscant immediately to bring this issue to the attention of the Senate, but even stricter laws had barred alien spcies from Senate Meetings completely. Aba resigned from his position with The Empire, and he began to spread his the word about what he had seen on Ithor, which greatly angered The Empire. While giving a speech one day Aba was struck by an assasin's blaster rifle, which nearly killed him. Fortunately a medical officer for the Rebel alliance was there when the assasination attempt occured, and he was able to save Aba's life. Showing his gratitude Aba left Coruscant with his new Rebel friends, and joined the alliance. For several years Aba worked as an officer on Yavin, but after the Death Star was destroyed he retired and fled to Ithor. Until immedately following the Battle of Endor Aba disguised himself as a farmer, living among the common people of Ithor. As soon as the Imperial threat left the Ithor system his people rewarded his work with the Rebellion by electing him as the Ithorian senator for the New Republic. He has since moved back to Coruscant, where he fights for democracy and equality among all alien species.

this topic may be too mature for younger members... oh my... Anyway, my vote goes to "Plastic Little" which comes with a "jiggle counter" in it's DVD release. I think you can guess what that is for.

In the "Grave of the dragon" episode, Gene and Suzuka have a long conversation about Gene's feelings towards Melfina. It seems obvious to me that she continues asking him questions about his relationship with Melfina because she loves Gene, and wants to know if he shares those feelings. In the second to last episode when Suzuka fought Ikarode (or whatever his name is) he asks her if she has any feelings for Gene. She never tells him, so it leaves me to wonder... In the opening of the show, when the lyrics "My Dreams" are spoken it shows Suzuka. Does Gene dream of Suzuka? In "Creeping Evil" Suzuka is prepared to fight to the death for an injured Gene, even though this is only a few episodes after she vowed to kill him. Suzuka grew up as an Assasin, and she can't display her emotions correctly. How much evidence do you people need!?

I have watched Outlaw Star ALOT, and after careful analysis I believe that Suzuka is in love with Gene, and that Gene has strong feelings towards Suzuka. Does anyone have any thoughts about this? Post your thoughts here...

Risk, the game takes forever to set up, and it takes too long to finish. Nothing is more frustrating than spending five hours on a game only to have your friend knock over all the pieces.

... I will get my ticket for Epsiode 2 today, even if it kills me. I would make this post longer, but I need to beg a few friends of mine for rides to the local theater... I wish I had my own car.

I really enjoyed "Blood: The Last Vampire" but as Seph mentions above, it it way too short. The action was good, and what little story they presented was interesting as well. I didn't like the characters very much, but "school nurse" is really entertaining.
Originally posted by Son Goten Could you people try not to post spoilers plz? I don't wanna be around if BabyGirl goes nuts.....now i have something to say.... HAPPY 58TH BIRTHDAY GEORGE LUCAS!!!
Yes, Happy Birthday Mr. Lucas (Even though I doubt you will get this message) I would also enjoy it greatly if this topic is "spoiler free." I have seen a lot of the merchandise and commercials, but I don't know many of the plot details. Hopefully I can stay that way until I get to see the movie.
Originally posted by Boba Fett I agree as well. I think that having Boba appear in Epsoide two ruins his mistique, and his cold and businesslike nature. It "humanizes" him. You are not supposed to be able to identify with Boba Fett , he is supposed to be mysterious and deadly, not some wide eyed kid.(even though they were all that way once, Yoda included)
Baby Yoda, what an amusing thought. :whoops: I am sure that young Boba is going to ruin the character. I like Darth Vader much less now than I did before EP. 1 with Anakin, his terrible acting and bad dialogue "Yippee!" Jango Fett might be cool, I hope..
Originally posted by SS Trunks ...But my mention of intimidation does actually have an outcome on the fight. I mean, both Maul and Boba / Jango Fett look mysterious and evil, and this would often scare their opponents into a negative attitude...
It is funny you should mention Jango/Boba Fett's appearance as mysterious and evil, I was just talking to my friend about it. I think that showing what Boba Fett looks like without the mask, and especially as a child, ruins the sinister mystique he had in the original trilogy. What do you think about showing the Fetts without the masks?

Most of the Gundam music I have heard is from Gundam Wing, but oddly enough my favorite Gundam song is from "The 8th MS Team" and it is called "Future Warriors."

...well it looks like you won't be playing the new Zedla game. The next game in the Zelda series will star "Cartoony Link" and will be out in the US this fall, I think. I have no idea when it will be available in the UK.

I don't get grounded often, the last time was in December, and only for a few days. When I am bored I... - Draw Comics - Write for the Otaku, or another web site. - Work on my own web site, which is in terrible shape. - Post on Otaku - Watch Anime - Watch American Animation - Read Comics -That's all I can think of now....

I am sorry to hear abut your problems with the US government. It seems to be much easier to get out of the country, than it does to get in. One of my friends went to England for the summer, and he didn't seem to have any troubles. My guess is that it is a security. The government is making it's laws to get into the country more strict in some sort of futile attempt to stop terrorism. I am not accusing you of being a terrorist (a terrorist who makes Mega Man sprites? No way!) and I don't think the US government is either, but they have to be careful you know. You also have to be really careful with filling out the paperwork, no matter what you are doing here. One typo on your taxes and you can get in huge trouble. Good luck in the future... but where exactly are you going in the United States?

I don't really know what I would wish for. I would feel bad if I wished for something for personal wealth while people are dying allover the world. Non-Greedy Wish: World peace perhaps.. end of disease, I dunno. Greedy Wish: That everyone who annoyed me would be magically moved to another country, so I wouldn't have to deal with them again.

Judging by your location you think Orange County is the safest place in California. Hmm... Maybe I have been spoiled, I live about 20 miles north of that area (in "the valley") and I have never experienced anything like that. That was very good, it is one of the better DBZ parodies I have seen out there.

A lot of people do not enjoy "magical girl" anime like "Pretty Sammy" or "Sailor Moon" because they think that they are primarily for girls. The truth is that the majority of "magical girl" anime involve cute animals, magic powers and schoolgirl crushes. I have not seen all of Pretty Sammy, but I do enjoy what I have seen. Any Tenchi Muyo fan should watch this show at least once, you might be suprised but what you see.

Anyway, I live in Southern California. There used to be a lot of gang activity here, but in recent years things have calmed down. Everyone realized how stupid these "turf wars" are, so they have ended.

I used to have a mac, but this was years ago. I think it was called a "performa." Macs are cool, they are much simpler to use than PCs, but the problem is that very little software is compatible with them, or has that changed? I haven't used a mac in about 3 years...

I always hear you talk about this "Gackt" fellow, I am intrigued by what you find to be so great about him. . . 1) How many people have heard any J-Music? I have 2) If yes, how much of it WASN'T from an anime? The majority of it was from anime, I would say about 20 percent is non-anime J Music. 4) If yes, what genre would you like to hear? J-Pop, but what little J-Rock I have heard I do like. 5) Do guys in drag and lots of makeup (who may or may not look Gothic) disgust you, facinate you, or you don't care what they wear as long as their music sounds good? I doesn't bother me, as long as they sound good. 6) Straight girls, gay/bi guys, and straight guys comfortable with their sexuality: Does this look sexy? sure, whatever.. 7) Straight guys, gay/bi women, and women comfortable in their sexuality: Does this look sexy? Yes 8) If you listened to J-Music, what groups/singers did you enjoy the most? I don't know much about the artists themselves, I couldn't name any singers from the top of my head 9) Does Japanese culture/music intrest you in the least? Very much so, even before I was interested in anime
Originally posted by BabyGirl This reminded me of another detail. The draft had been started a year and a half before the attack on Pearl Harbor...keep that in mind ;)
President Roosevelt was trying to get both the military and the general public prepared for another war. He slowly began dropping hints about the possiblity of a war in his radio addresses, and the government began to equip the allied nations with the lend-lease policy (or something like that.) Everyone knew that the US was eventually going to war, I think FDR withheld info about Pearl Harbor.. or if not him, the British.
Originally posted by SemjazaAzazel I think Macross is pretty well known to people that watch anime outside of Cartoon Network's Toonami. So is Record of the Lodoss War...So I'm not sure what you are considering "rare." But oh well, I'm just gonna list ones most people I know don't know about lol. I find that a lot of people haven't heard of these
I think the purpose of this topic is make people more aware of anime that aren't on tv every day.
