Originally posted by Darkness You're right; you can't have any religion without faith. But, isn't it possible to have faith without religion? Like I said before, you shouldn't need a book to validate you. That is a sign of individual weakness.
faith can exist outside religion yes, but faith is derived from religion

o_0 ook. . you ppls are scary. At my school there are ghosts, one is of a soldier (the school was used as a military hospital, Downlands look it up if u don't believe me) back to the point, this soldier was filling up a jeep with a fuel canister, when it exploded and the fuel went onto him and setting him alight. He ran around screaming, bringing everyone to where the jeep was, the screams were still going on but the person lay there, smoking on the ground. The boarders at school still sometimes see, not hear, a flaming spirit running around at the front of Tyson manor. Spooky hey? The school has heaps of ghosts, even a photo of one, well no-one can explain the person in the photo, just a blur with a cap on, and no-one near it not even the photographer, saw it.

Name: Liam Age: look like-14 (real-6000 years) Sex: Whaaat?. .were not even married! lol:D Vamp/human: Vamp Bio: Liam was one of the origional vampires, one of the ones that started the 'myth' of vampires. he enjoys sucking blood casually in paris, and his turn ons are :D lol sorry. Many cultures started the ideas on 'how to kill a vampire' because of his false information. Through his efforts, no human, unless they become a vampire, knows the actual weakness of the Vampire
Originally posted by SuperSayian4444 Name: Neil Age: 14 Sex: Male Vamp or Human: Vampire Background story: Not much is known. All that IS know is that he is a strong warrior with an ever-lasting taste for battle and bloodshead. He is said to be very violent, but he is sometimes struck with human emotions, and does not know what to do(Gee, just like a 14 yeat old. Now what does that tell you?). He has the ability to predict possible paths of the future, and move some items with his mind. Also, he does have a kind side.(Much like that of Neil in A New Hope)
sounds like 'Angel' in that old show: busty, uh i mean, Buffy the vampire slayer. BTW, Rico, are there still openings?

One word FAITH, youcan't have any religion without faith. Besides, my religion, what you feel when you listen to the teachings in class, you can't explain. You get a feeling of firm conviction in that it is true, and no-one can take it away but yourself.

Ok i know that the wonderswan is a game device, but it is a bandai object and actually really good. A while back i posted a subject about the wonder swan, well today i did some searching and found it. The machine itself is really quite good, check out the below link for the details: http://www.dcslinks.com/misc/hh_wscff2le.htm http://www.eagb.net/gameboy/didknow031.htm and: http://members.fortunecity.com/erifneerg/swan/index.html

Originally posted by Anna Of course the bible isn't the only scriptural writing out there, and the bible was never necessarily 'found' all nice and compiled as is now. There are a lot of ties to a lot of things that many people don't know about. Although what exactly you are getting at in your first paragraph is fuzy to me.... what point were you making? Some of the disciples' writing is Greek myth?? Well, it can't be a myth if it's staring at you in the face. Granted it's been altered in some form or another, but it's still there. What kind of limitations are you speaking of? Limitations of....... understanding? Knowledge? Truth? Depends on the book and the person(s). Perhaps the person isn't quite smart enough, or rather doesn't actually want to learn in the first place. And then, because of their own limitations/short-comings, they blame the book or whatever because they don't understand it. A student in algebra II refuses to learn the algebra because they don't understand the text book or like what it says. Then when they fail the class, they in turn say that it is the algebra book's fault for their failing. Is the algebra book wrong? Would the school board allow it to be distibuted if it was full of error and incomprehensible? I highly doubt it. Thus, it is the same with many people and the bible, or any scripture for that matter. Heck, anything! And that is where your limitations come in: the people. Scripture is supposed to serve as an instructional guide. If you choose to not follow or look at a map on the interstate, you're as likely to end up lost as you are to remember to take the right turn so you don't end up in Canada or something (or whereever relates to you). This is how good religion is; or how it ought to be. Whether or not yours or whoevers is like this, I dunno, it's not my problem. [/QUOTE Wow *clapping* you do alot of seminary+reading and stuff
-
that thing is seriously weird, I'd have to agree with son goten on the subject, that thing is seriously weird and dangerous.

well actually I like my grandparents, and some other old ppls. My mum ( she works at TWBA Base hospital) every now and again she has to go to this nursing home to check out their budget and help out and stuff, any how, the place is full of old ppls. The sad thing is that they are slightly. .. odd, but there are others there that aren't, but have just been dumped there by their kids who promptly go off and spend all their inheritance:(
