Aoshi Shinomori

I didn't even know we were arguing...I'm agreeing with everything that you said...I'm just giving a different reason why people think Aoshi is so cold hearted...I see that you stress a lot of importance on his loyalty...and that's true...he is incredibly loyal...the only reason he fought Okina was because he was blinded by the obsession of being the strongest...in his search for Kenshin...he wasn't his normal self...and I know that you know this...(obiviously, you know a lot about Aoshi)...that's the point I'm making...the reason why people think he's cold hearted is because they don't know about his past and what happens at the end of Rurouni Kenshin...(the point you made)...so...I apologize if I made it seem that I was arguing with you...I thought this was just a conversation between two Aoshi fans...and you and I think that he's the coolest anime character anyway...and that's good enough for me...

I don't think it's dying...most people still play Yu-Gi-Oh!...with all the publicity of the anime and videogames out there...it'll be here for a while...it seems to me that it depends on where you live...if you live in a small town...with very few people...it just seems that people aren't playing...but in major cities...thousands of people still play...

People think he's cold hearted because they don't understand what he went through in the past...you know...with the shogunate in Edo...all they see is a ninja who slaughters anybody who gets in his way...especially with the scene where he fought Okina...all that really happened is that he became obsessed with being the strongest after what happened at the Kanryuu estate...he then followed his obsession by trying to defeat Kenshin as a way to bestow the title of the strongest on the graves of his dead comrades...he even perfected his Kodachi weapons and mastered the Double Kodachi style...but what really sums him up is that he is a compassionate and caring person who just lost his way for a while...and you can see that he cares in the flashbacks he has of Misao...and his Oniwaban comrades...

Ha, ha...well...just the fact that he's a cold hearted ninja...I just can't picture a girl liking that...there are some fan sites made by guys...but a majority are made by girls...and you just met a guy who likes Aoshi...he's my favorite anime character...just the fact that at the beginning...he was a bad guy...but later...returns to his normal self...and all the experiences he has in between makes him my favorite anime character and second favorite villain...

Name-Aoshi Shinomori... Reason-An incredibly strong, quiet, and concise ninja...who goes through so much pain and agony...which turns him into a cold hearted and ruthless killer...but in the end...he returns to his old compassionate self...just by watching him...you can experience the emotions he goes through...

Ha, ha...wow...an Aoshi fan girl here...nice...most of the fan sites of Aoshi were made by girls...which kind of surprised me...and yeah...DVL is right...later Aoshi actually helps Kenshin... Here's a dialogue...of Vicious and Spike...just to make RPCrazy happy...and notice the things that Vicious says...once again...negative energy... Vicious-When angels are forced out of heaven...they become devils...you agree, don't you, Spike? Spike-I'm just watching a bad dream that I'd never wake up from. Vicious-I'll wake you up right now... Spike-What's your rush Vicious? After all, it's been a long time. Vicious-Are you pleading for your life? Spike-Hardly. Begging doesn't work on you remember? Even if it's coming from a man who took you in and made you what you are. Vicious-Perhaps...but he was a beast who lost its fangs...that's why he had to die, Spike...and that's why you have to die...

First of all...the definition of "anime" is Japanese animation...or in other words...cartoons that originated in Japan or were drawn by Japanese people...so...if a cartoon was created by American animators and artists in America...it wouldn't technically be "anime"...it'd be nothing more but an imitation...but you guys are right though...people take elements from anime and add them to their own works...the way I look at it...it's just culture blending... Second of all...the Japanese did copy off of American cartoons...Dr. Osamu Tezuka...(creator of anime)...created Astro Boy...(first anime ever)...by copying styles drawn by Walt Disney...that's why the really early anime look a lot like a Disney cartoon...and ever since that...anime has evolved...take a look at Astro Boy which was released in the fifties...then look at Lupin the 3rd which was released in the seventies...then look at Cowboy Bebop which was released in the nineties...yeah...animator's have gotten a lot better...

I love "Tank!"...that was the coolest theme...it just got you pumped up to watch Bebop...I don't watch Bebop on Adult Swim because of he song though...it's kind of loud and everybody is asleep...including me...I also have to agree with Double_B_Daigo...the G Gundam theme sounded so weird...especially since whoever sings the song keeps on switching from Japanese to English lyrics...

I pretty much like every single Gundam...but I'd love to pilot the Genosaurer in Zoids...charged particle cannon...so much power...at it looks amazing too...besides that...the conflict between the Genosaurer and Blade Liger was really good...

Aoshi isn't really the main villain in Rurouni Kenshin...Shishio is...still he is a very cool villain... My favorite will always be Vicious...everything he says is filled with negative energy...his cold hearted nature and even what he wears is what being a villain is all about...besides...everything he says is filled with negative energy... The anime does have a lot of Kawaii...most guys don't really go for this anime though...the main characters (Digi Charat and Petite Charat) are really young (11 and 10 years old) and way too cute to appeal to guys...Digi Charat is very popular with girls though...
