[COLOR=SeaGreen][SIZE=2][FONT=Book Antiqua]Kahlil Gibrn, my favorite poetry/prose writer. I have a book here with some of his poetry and prose. It's really beautifully translated into english from the original language, Aribic. I'll write up some of my favorite.[/FONT][/SIZE][/COLOR] [SIZE=3][B]Song of the Rain:[/B][/SIZE] I am dotted silver threads dropped from heaven by the gods. Nature then takes me, to adorn her feilds and valleys. I am beautiful pearls, plluked from the crown of Ishtar by the daughter of Dawn to embelish the gardens. When I cry the hills laugh; when I humble myself the flowers rejoice; When I bow, all things are elated. The feild and the cloud are lovers And between them I am a messenger of mercy. I quench the thirst of the one; I cure the ailment of the other. The voice of thunder declares my arrival; The rainbow announces my departure. I am like earthly life, which begins at the feet of the mad elements and ends under the unpraised wings of death. I emerge from the heart of the sea and soar with the breeze. When I see a feild in need, I decend and embrace the flowers and trees in a million little ways. I touch gently at the windows with my soft fingers, And my announcement is a welcome song. All can hear, but only the sensitive can undertsand. The heat in the air gives birth to me, But in turn I kill it, As a woman over comes a man with The strength she takes from him. Let me rest in the arms of slumber, for my open eyes are tired; Let the silver-stringed lyre quiver and soothe my spirit; Weave from the harp and lute, a veil around my withering heart. Sing of the past as you behold the dawn of Hope in my eyes, For its magic meaning is a bed upon which my heart rests. Dry your tears, my friends, and raise your heads as the flowers raise their crowns to greet the dawn. Look at the bride of Death standing like a column of light between my bed and the infinite; Hold your breath and listen with me to the beckoning rustle of her white wings. Come close and bid me farewell; touch my eyes with smiling lips. Let the children grasp my hands with soft and rosy fingers; Let the aged placed their vaeined hands upon my head and bless me; Let the virgins come close and see the shadow of God in my eyes, And hear the echo of His will racing with my breath. :D

OOC: Sorry I haven't been posting....eh, family problems. And sorry this post is short as hell. I only have...3 minutes now and this is the best I can get. IC: All was silent for what felt like hours, but was truly only a few seconds. Uni and Ios stood infront of them with there arms crossed. They didnt so much as flinch. Not a single mucle moving in either of there bodies. The silence was broken by Arunue sighing. Toshi shot a glance to her. Her face was expressionless, almost. The only feeling he could get from her was pain. Stressing emotional pain, with no presice cause. He looked back to Uni and Ios. Ios just grinned. Other than that, everyone was still, waiting for the first attack. It was made by Uni. He lept from where he was standing and charged at Toshi. His attack focused on him. Toshi doged and blocked with his sword. Arunue attacked but Uni blocked. This gave Toshi a chance to drive his sword into Unis side. Toshi took the sword out and the wound healed. He cursed ander his breath. OOC: *has edited* happy, box hoy? sorry, i was a little out of it when i made this post....rough day

[COLOR=SeaGreen][SIZE=2][FONT=Book Antiqua]Sasuke sighed and looked at Ryu, still unconcious. He ran his hand against Ryu's face and brushed his hair out of his face. Ryu looked younger when he was asleep. He always had. Sasuke had watched him sleep, alot, and he always seemed to look younger. Sasuke leaned a little closer to him, his face only inches from Ryu's. He closed his eyes and was about to lean in more, but Ryu closed his eyes tight and shook his head ever so slightly, waking up. Sasuke backed up as Ryu slowly woke up. He held his hand to his head where the bottle connected and shattered. "Damnitt." he said, tiredly as he shook some remaining glass out of his hair. "What the fuck.." Ryu layed back down and looked around. "How'd you get us a hotel room?" he asked, looking at Sasuke. Sasuke smiled and shrugged. "I came in carrying you, you were knocked out, I said we needed a room so that you could rest, the lady at the counter didn't ask any questions!" he said. "Good goin'." Ryu said, smiling. Sasuke smiled weakly and sat on the other bed. "I think they've got us confused." Sasuke said, softly. Ryu looked at him. "What do ya mean?" he asked. Sasuke shook his head. "I think that your bounty has been confused with mine." he said, even softer. Ryu smiled. "Yeah, if i acctually had $30 million on my head, damn, I'd probably just kill myself, thinkin I'd get the money some how!" he said, laughing. Sasuke smiled and leaned back on the bed. He looked up and counted the square tiles on the ceiling before drifting off to sleep. "Hey, Hayshi, What happened with that "Valentine" charecter anyway?" Ryu asked. He smiled when he realized he was asleep and layed back.[/FONT][/SIZE][/COLOR]

Sephy: no, just good guy #1 and hot chick so that just didnt work...oh, i should get typing the sign up ^^;; * Hakaruu Tashi sat on his bed in his dorm room. He was fiddling with a lock on a small woodenbox. "Oh, why can't i get this open?!" he yelled in frustration. Just the, his alarm went off on his watch. He turned it off and stood up. "Damn! Time for school." He pushed the box under his bed and grabed his book bag and ran off down the hall. Hakaruu was one of the many students at the Kurakowa training academy. This school taught martial arts, sword styles and teqniques and other forms of combat. Each student could pick what class he wanted to take, wether it be archery, hand-to-hand combat, multi-wepon combat, or even a black smith class that taught you how to make such wepons. The most popular though was the multi-wepon combat, known for teaching students the use of multiple wepons in one battle. Unlike what you might think, deaths at Kurakowa were very uncommen. It was years sence the school had lost a student, or teacher for that matter. The teachers were very carefull at observing the students around wepons. You could barely get away with anything. Untill now. This year, the most roudy, sneaky, stealthy students would be participating. Think the teachers can handle it? I really don't. hehehehehe. Oka, Below is the information I need, I do need atleast one teacher if you will, and 3 other students besides me. Please, atleast one girl. The box is locked and he can't open it. Bio: He lived with his father untill he was 8, when his father was killed in a car accident. Then he went to live with his mother and older brother Jane, who was 4 years older than him. After a few years of being happy, thier mother got very sick and couldn't get out of bed. Jane and Hakaruu were playing outside and a group of tenagers aproached them. They asked the kids if they lived in the house they were outside of. Jane nodded and pulled Hakaruu back, being the great big brother that he is. The teens smiled and asked if they could see the house. Jane hesitaded put let them come close. When one of the teens peered inside an open window he threw in a crumpled up paper that was on fire. The flaming paper landed on the counter and rolled off into the garbage can. It too caught fire. Then the curtains began to catch and before you knew it the hose was burning. The teens had grabed the kids and pulled them back then ran like hell. Jane ran to a neighbors house and called the firestation. When the fire was out, the house had little to no damage. But the smoke from the downstairs fire had severly hurt the mothers lungs. She was already sick to begin with so the smoke just made sure that she had a death date. Hakaruu was visiting his mother and she gave him the cross and the box. "Whats in it?" Hakaruu asked his mother. She smiled and began to say "Its a very special box. The contents are very important to me. Keep them safe. Whats in that box...is..." Hakaruu looked at his mother when she stoped talking.....she was dead. And sence then hes lived with his brother, Jane, wondering what the hell is in that box!
