[SIZE=1][COLOR=DarkOrange][FONT=Verdana]Whoa, i'm so happy you came out of your cage ^_^ That has got to be one of your best works, i love the colors and the border was a nice touch. The only flaw i see in this is that the stock isn't cropped to well. Maybe try to get rid of some of those white lines? Other than that, excellent work. Since i didn't have photoshop Friday or Saturday, i had Retri make this last minute button for the graphic club (which is currently in my sig). I shall start making better ones since his sucks ^_^ since he did it last minute (He said so himself). So i'll be posting them on this thread and for anyone who wants a button feel free to take one. [B]Dada:[/B] I don?t really like this piece. I know the image you are trying to portray and from the way that you layered or ?over-cluttered? things, I believe you didn?t quite get the image you were looking for. I think just spacing the text out and not overlaying it over each other would have been a better idea. Still looks great to me, I couldn?t be able to do that. [B]Minimalism:[/B] This piece is like eye candy. So simple and sophisticated, and I think you got this image right on the dot. The fading effect also and IMO you are really improving in this new style of yours. [B]Knightfall:[/B] The colors on this piece are very dark and I like it. The only thing I dislike about this one is that the small text behind ?Strength Retribution?, It feels that it?s to dominate and maybe try some blending options or opacity changes. Alright i took a picture of some ball in my backyard and i decided to put it in a banner. It turned out better than i expected. Seem as you went with the pixel font, but i can't count you down on that because i always use them. There's not that much to say about that banner because you just slapped the background on it, but used some of those brush layers. The only thing i'm not liking in this banner is the shade of the "purple brush layer". The purple looks a bit out of place. [B]2:[/B] I heavily dislike the typography in this banner. Looks like you used "Base 02". I never liked that font. The background is nice, Inverted colors? Only thing i don't like about this one is text. [B]3:[/B] This one is very simple, and i think the dimensions of the banner make it good. I never liked banners that were small in width but were large in height. Nothing else to say about that one but i think it's the best one out of the group. If you look closely you can also see a random blue dot somewhere in the middle of the banner. Too small to fix though. Now it's time to comment on your next set, [B]Alone [1, 2], Holy, Silent:[/B] [B]Alone 1 and 2:[/B] The darkness of "Alone 1" doesn't catch my eye, but i love "Alone 2". The colors are amazing. The text is a bit hard to read, but i'm not sure if it was an intentional move. Also the dimensions of the banner really caught my eye also. [B]Clever Retri.[/B] Overall i like [B]"Alone 2"[/B] but [B]"Alone 1"[/B] doesn't catch my eye. [B] Holy and Silent:[/B] I like [B]"Holy"[/B] but not [B]"Silent"[/B], for the same reason why i didn't like [B]"Alone 2"[/B]. All i can see of changing is the positioning of the text on [B]"Holy"[/B] because it seems too far down, and i guess change the font. You can actually see that the font is a bit pixelly also. Overall they're all pretty nice. Grr.. I'm jealous of your fangirls! Haha, I wish i had people who commented that quick. At least you know that we love your work.
