Okay, I grew up in Oklahoma and saw cowboys everywhere. Naturally, one would assume that I wanted to be a cowboy[girl], yes? No! I hate cowboys! I wanted to be a pirate so badly. I wanted to see the world; not in some ranch, herding cows for the rest of my life. You'd never go anywhere as a cowboy. Pirates are just full of adventure, stories to tell, memories to share. Ah, I would love to be a pirate. Besides, who wouldn't want to be a pirate alongside the OB's original pirate, Drix? Hell, that would be the sexiest thing to grace the face of the earth.....well, sort of.
you have a good point alot of ppl are happy on this day. the thing is there happyness comes at the expence or reminding everyone els how lownly they are. is it fair for them to leach off us like that?
Corperate America
sucks balls
. That's all there is to it.
i know life isnt fair but still
You'll live. The rest of us lonely twits are finding some way to live; I'm sure you can too.

First off: Chicken is the only meat. Now that's out of the way, I thought of one more thing. I don't know if you'd call it an addiction (I find it is). I've been known for this, and it may drive everyone insane; changing my banners/avatars and myO site theme. I have to do it maybe three times a month XD My friends are always yelling at me to stop. I can't though, it's just something I do.

I love it, Shy. And I'm going to agree with Lady A. This has been one of the only stories here I can actually begin reading without feeling obligated to. From the very first sentence to the last, I just enjoy reading. The character's are wonderful, the situation is just natural and realistic. I'm seeing the officer from Kill Bill v1 for the Pops character. I can actually see it (while I'm reading) as a movie playing in my mind. Very smooth running.

I think my addiction is internet. And I've been trying to cut it down. Tonight/today, I've failed miserably with it (seeing it's 2:30 something in the New York state). But I plan on stopping it soon.. I've been slowly getting addicted to buying manga. I don't have too many different mangas, but I have been collecting sets. I've purchased all of Chobits and The Demon Ororon; and I'm collecting Hellsing, Angel Sanctuary*, Tsubasa: The Resevoir Chronicles, xXx-Holic, and Negima! But money has been rendering me from catching up on the manga, lol. Food-wise? Well, peanut butter and jelly sammiches. I practically live off of them. That and Cherry Coke.

Man, there's a great deal of people I wouldn't mind getting stranded with. So, as best as I can come up with: Alex (Siren)- My, my, if he and I got stranded on a deserted island together..them coconuts will end up running for cover ^_~ Alex is a highly intelligent man, and has a delightful sense of humor. Something that would be needed. He'd keep me entertained (*cough*) and he'd be a great company. Baron Samedi- Baron's a sweety, funny, and he just seems like we'd fight all the time, but laugh at it. If I were to go insane, he'd be normal XD Kidding Baron, dear. I luv joo. He just seems like he'd be fun to have sand wars or something. Jordan (Drix)- Who else is going to help me find that burried treasure?! None other than the OB's Original Pirate! Arg! I loves you too, Jordan matey. Charles-......on second thought, maybe not. He'd either end up driving me insane (way too early, that is), or he might become all native islander and try to scalp me. Syk3 and Shinmaru- Reason for Syk3: I'll need someone to butter my muffins...^_^ Reason for Shin: ....f*ckeroni. I'll be needing lots of that ^_~ (You can't have Syk3 and Shin seperate. It's just impossible. Those two are practically married.) Metatron- Despite his absence, and his morbid-ness sometimes, I would love to be stranded with him. Very intelligent and he knows how to sword fight. Scary, but we'd have a good time. Kane and Corey- Reason for Kane: My Irish man! Protective, and very comforting. Although, if he says "interesting, most interesting" to me..I'll probably drown him. Reason for Corey: Fantabulous person to talk to. Has a morbid sense of humor and very creative. Good for talking, and thinking of ways to get off the island. (You can't have these two seperate either. Same reason, haha.) SilpheedPilot-......my fantasy. The one and only person I would stay stranded with forever, and not go crazy or grow bored. I wouldn't care to see another person again. I would spend forever and eternity with him. I wouldn't mind hanging out with a few girls (please don't take offense girls). But I could not be stranded with one on an island. Girls just don't get along after a really long period of time together. We'll end up fighting, knowing my personality and attitude. If I forgot anyone, sorry >.< EDIT- I lied about a female. There's only one that I think I would be able to live with: Mimmi- She is my master, and she's so sweet! She has a wonderful imagination, and is very playful (In a very innocent way..>_>). I know that whenever I'm down, she'll be optimistic and edging me on to have fun. Vice Versa. We could go on really fun adventures all the time. She's always got something new and fun to talk about.

The cars whizzed by her, one after the other. The speedometer swayed gently; back and forth between the speed limit and a few miles above. Her foot seeking a comfort, her hands held the steering wheel with tenderness, yet with a stern grip. The car hugged the curves of the highway. Silence consumed her thoughts.

Wonderful, Shy. I was totally taken back. First from the whole idea of the video game. I really thought it was what the story was going to revolve around a young man saving the world and all. I loved every. single. detail. Everything Betty represented. Everything Tim did. It seemed that Betty had been imprisoned (so to speak). Every time she turned around, he was there to destroy whatever she had . It's beautiful, Shy.
But really, in that situation, what's the point of eating at all? ^_~
Maybe I got a different thought on that, but perhaps the point is that it wouldn't happen. Eating another human that is...I'm not quite sure.
gaza strip club
Yeah strip clubs..sorry, had to throw that in.

My stomach churns and growls. His body lay lifeless in the mud; dirty, smelly mud. It had been over a week since our boat sunk near this desolate island. There was no food, and I couldn't save him. He made me promise before he passed. He begged me to promise. "I'm sorry. I can't."

The skateboards screamed to a halt. The streets were dark and empty except for parallel-parked vehicles. "I told you that was a bad idea," he slapped at his friend. "You wanted to do it, too," the friends argued. Unfortunately for them, blue and red lights danced on the horizon. "I hate you."

He crept downward, hanging desperately from a strand. Quietly, stealthy, he maneuvered towards her. She unexpectedly turns around, staring at him in horror. She reaches behind her and quickly beats him with a rag. His legs curl up, trying to shield himself. "Die, Mr. Spider!" And down the sink's drain he goes.
-
"Do you think-" she asked. "Absolutely," replied her friend. The two sit in silence. She fumbled with her hamburger as her mind darted from one contradicting thought to another. Her friend glanced up and met her daze-like stare. "What's up?" "If only he'd say so.."

I'm looking forward to Constantine and Corpse Bride. Of course, I would love to see the new Willy Wonka..but I'm not going to watch it alone, lol. The trailer was enough to mortify me. (Note: Annie is afraid of clowns, or anything remotely similar. She has seen the trailer, and crazy Johnny Depp kind of scared her. And she's petrified to see the oompa loompas..if there are any.) But it looks to be really promising, so full of rich color. Plus, I love Johnny Depp and I am very curious as to see his performance in this movie. The Corpse Bride looks gorgeous. The animation looks spectacular, and I was always a fan of that style. Now, Constantine, I'm still not 100% certain as to what it's really about. I know, I have to go read some more on it. But, if anyone knows me and my style of RPG, I absolutely adore religious/sacreligious genres. Besides, Keanu Reeves is hot, and I find him to be a decent actor. Oh, not to mention Rachel Weisz is freakin' beautiful, and a fabulous actress. My favorite ^_^
All I can say is that is probably one of the best analogies I have ever heard to what a soulmate is. It hits the nail on the head like nothing else I've heard before.
Thank you.
As for the rest, well, I think that all of the inputs and views seem to do love justice. Like some many have said, love is dynamic and ever changing, yet it is a ocnstant that most of us need to survive and to also live a healthy and satisfying life. It is the essence IMHO of life and happiness.[/color']
I'll agree that love changes over time and as you mature. Love at the age of fifteen will be different than love at the age of twenty. Kind of like whine; the older it gets, the better the taste and texture.
baby don't hurt me, no more.[/FONT']
XD You read my mind.
They were regular heart-shaped candies, except they had messages like "Let's Read!" and some other stuff that you wouldn't expect to find on a candy heart lol..
I had a box of those one year, and they had the stuff like "let's read!...eat right!..sleep.." and other odd sayings O.o I just looked at the person who gave them to me like "What the hell's wrong with you?" I don't really like those candies anyway.
Most people wouldn't, simply because it's just a predisposition in their mind that tells them that it's 'wrong'.
Once again, that falls under what I had mentioned before. Now, if you meant by just simply living a normal life, with abundance of animals and vegetables, no stress of survival, then I'd say yes to that statement. In that case, I wouldn't even think of eating another human being. But under the condition of eating another human just to survive, people can't say what they would do/wouldn't do.

He lay his head in my lap; his heated cheek against my bared thighs. Sweat and blood trickled onto my flesh, sending shivers up my body. Try as I might, my hands would not stop shaking. I couldn't hold him. My strength wilted under the ghastly sight of him. "Please stay," I cried; he smiled.

In all honesty, I couldn't tell you what I would do. You really can't say you would, or you would never do such a thing, unless you were thrown into that situation. Your mind can do some strange things under intense stress, fear, or excitement.

Anyways, moving on with the Nifty Fifty. I'm very happy to see the relevant responses. It makes me feel that I didn't bust my a.ss for nothing. I've seen some people get upset with the idea of the Nifty Fifty, but that's their problem. Then there are people who are grateful for the results, and that's my reward. So, I hope to be doing more with Shy..I mean, more OB events with Shy. I had a good time, and I thank everyone who participated and who appreciated the final results. Oh, HC, I've said it before and I'll say it again: OB Awards.

Wow, I really enjoyed seeing all of the book definitions of "love". Heh, not. Everyone has their own outlook on love, their own opinions, their own feelings. Love is different from everyone, yet it is the same. Odd to explain, as it's kind of like its own contradiction. But love is love, it doesn't matter how old someone is, what gender they are, what way the express it. It can come at a young age, granted it may not be the same type of love an elder person would describe it. I find love to be able to tolerate someone for a long amount of time. When you leave that person's presence, you crave for that person. Where you can actually sit down and think about a future with a person, and not be frightened; instead, you cannot wait for that day to come. Where you and a person have never really met, but you continue on with a relationship that has been seperated by 1,982.2 miles for nearly two years...and still the feelings beat stronger with each passing day. And during this time, and distance, you remain loyal; and the person expresses nothing but dedication, honesty, and loyalty in return. Do I believe in soul mates? I very much do. To use an anology, I see a soul as a puzzle. There's always that one piece you can't find to fit into that one spot. You spend a long time looking for that piece; it drives you crazy to see that spot open and empty. But then one day, you find that one piece (your special someone). You place it in that empty space, and the puzzle is complete; creating a beautiful picture. That's how I see it. It just makes more sense to me, because if you lose that one piece of the puzzle, the picture is incomplete and begins the search for that piece; and that piece only. No other oddly shaped piece will do, it has to be the same piece. That sort of explains my outlook on love as well. Corny? Perhaps to other people, but..that's me. By the way, everytime I see this thread's title, I'm forced to think of that silly song.
Being a moderator is strictly about power?and apparently sex, although I don?t recall being a recipient on the latter. Maybe the others drugged me and took advantage of the situation.
Why would that not surprise me? I haven't heard of any stories like that..yet. So, it may be very well possible.
Besides, an online quiz said that I'm a "nerdslut". So I clearly have nothing against dorks -- in fact, I'm constantly trying to go on dates with them.
You nerd. You should really talk to Syk3 about being a member of the Happy Organization of Really Nerdy Youths. I think you'd "fit in" just fine ^_~ Seeing all of the mods [well, most if not all] input in this thread made me smile/laugh. I really liked seeing vast comments...and some *cough*sexual*cough* comments. But that's just my naughty mind working again. So, I'll stop now. However, I'll leave you with: my respect for all of the moderators has never wavered. There have been times where I didn't agree with the things that were said/done, but that doesn't mean I didn't/don't respect them. Whenever I had the chance to talk with them in a chatroom, or over instant messaging, it's always something facinating....and very--what's the word--peculiar. Just a delightful group of people, and I'm glad to be under such moderators [pun intended..I mean, no pun intended ^_~]

Like myO and my OB banner/avi, I'm forever changing..alot, lol. I went from the Ghost in the Shell idea, to the same theme I'm currently using for myO, to this: Faye Valentine You'll recognize this if you know my Bikini Bandits.

Hm, why do I have this hatred building up for this.."holiday"? Read this, and tell me what you think. But for the sake of the thread, and my membership, I'll discuss with you why I do not like this "holiday". I don't know who started it, what their motive was, or why we must continue with it, but I absolutely despise this "holiday". I'm always alone, and bad things always seem to wait for this one day to dog-pile on me. What is the point of V-Day? Torture. In simple terms, torture for those who are single. Unless, the single person is really into themselves and they don't care. Or, they are very optimistic. Good for them. Sorry, I'm just not in the mood for V-Day discussion.
