I don't care who the hell you but you should shut the hell up right now. :D
First of all, learn some grammar. Then try to be intimidating. Secondly, was that absolutely necessary to post? Why, if you have a problem with someone, don't you PM them? This sort of "post" [if you want to think so] is something I know I don't want to read, and I'm sure other members will agree. Now, on with the topic. Valentine's Day, in my eyes, is depressing. Not because of the commercial/material prodcuts or superficial value. I've never had a boyfriend on V-Day, and every year is a horrible experience for me. I'm always alone, and something always goes wrong. I really don't like walking around the mall or stores during this time of year, because I see all of these happy couples holding each other and shopping for each other. It only makes the "holiday" a living hell. I don't hang around my friends, who are coupled up, because all they do is cling to one another; it makes me feel like the third wheel, and I am really uncomfortable. If I had a boyfriend during this..thing of a "holiday", I wouldn't want any candy or flowers or stuffed animals. All I would want is to be like those happy couples. All I'd want to do is cuddle up on the couch and watch a few movies, and eat popcorn. Or going to hang out with a group of friends that are couples, play some video games, or whatever. Valentine's Day is a day of spending time with the significant other, not prove your love to them with buying them gifts.

Alright, here are my attempts. Now, anyone can tell you, I'm not the greatest..but hey, at least I tried. Banner Avatar

Hm, I really like the red. I think it is a very good try for a first signature. In fact, I think it's wonderful. However, I must critique. Font- I like the style, but, I think it should have been moved up a bit. The bottom of the sentence is slightly cut off. It's not a big deal, but I think it would look neater (as in neat, not cool) if the text were moved up just a tad. Perhaps slightly to the right, as well. Otherwise, nice text style. The center- The picture of the girl(?) is really grainy. Now, if this can't be helped, I understand. Then, I'd probably scoot it over a tad..maybe overlap the text? But that's different. I'm just here to tell you that the pic is grainy. If that is how you wanted it, cool. If it's something that can't be helped, cool beans. Border- Now, to make your banner pop out, I'd add a border. Something simple would do. Perhaps a 1-pixel or 2-pixel border..I'd suggest black. Just to give it some closure, and a sleek edge. I'm not an expert at graphics, but I hope this helps some.
I don?t want to be too harsh, but this is terrible stuff. I was expecting a lot more from a person who I used to consider somewhat of a writer. Honestly Annie, I hadn?t stumbled upon this thing until the last chapter you posted, but I am thoroughly offended. What am I to you? Some sort of one-sided character that you can manipulate? What is with your portrayal of me as a doctor? Is that some sort of joke? So I?m not a doctor yet, that doesn?t mean you need to rub it in my face. Oh, by the way, I resent being portrayed as a homosexual. My dog Jake cares for me very much, thank you. By the way? third grade called, they forgot to teach you spelling and grammar. What is this? Did you vomit on your keyboard and forget where all the keys were located? Oh, and incorporating myO and AIM conversations is a real novel idea *rolls eyes*. I can?t believe how ridiculously well-received this story is? I think you should be booed off the boards for this mindless puss. How is James tolerating this? Has Otakuboards lost all semblance of justice? Thanks a lot, I can?t believe you would sink so low.^_~
I'm terribly sorry, Drix. I had no intention of offending you. I was only trying to give you props with the doctor routine. I would have guessed you would have enjoyed me portraying you as a good doctor. I never said you were homosexual, either. I'm sorry that it looked as if I were trying to make you out to be homosexual. I know your views on homosexuality, and I am terribly sorry that it seemed that way. Well, s**t, I'm sorry. I'm not perfect with my grammar or spelling! I never prided myself on that subject! I know damned well enough to get me by. Isn't that enough? Who are you to just flame me like that, anyway?! If you didn't appreciate my story, you could have at least PMed or IMed me. Thanks to you, my story may be at jeopordy! Whatever, you don't like it, that's your problem. I don't see how you can be so ungrateful when I'm shining the spotlight on you. I'm going to continue my story, whether you like it or not. You have a problem, IM me. "Where did you get that information?" Drix leant against the wooden railing. The sea's breeze was cool and swept over the beach like a wave. The soft amber glow of the boardwalk lanterns dotted into the horizon. "A young man named Baron Samedi. He claims to know James as a friend," Annie zipped up her hoodie and looked over the beach. Like a mother, checking on the Bandits hundreds of feet away. "Do you believe him?" "I think I can." "Well, let's think here," Drix began to pace. "Drix, why would you fear James? Has he said something to you?" Annie still really confused. "I was just saying that I 'feared' him so I could have an excuse to investigate," Drix stopped and laughed. Annie growled and threw her shoes at him. "Sorry, Annie. But seriously, don't you just feel something about him?" he kicked a the small, colorful pebbles that littered the boardwalk. The breeze picked up speed, blowing up between the cracks of the boards. "Well, he does give off an ominous aura. Wait, James is the James that knows I don't like the GameCube or XBox. Crap, now I really have to watch my back," Annie mumbled, rubbing her arms. The two walked further down the boardwalk, occasionally glancing back to the shore. The breeze, as soon as it began, stopped; leaving the air to linger with a strange sense of company. "Do you feel like we're being watched?" Annie stopped, shoving her hands into the hoodie pouch. "Yeah, maybe we should head back," Drix put his hand on Annie's back and turned them around to head back towards the beach. Their footsteps echoed into the blackness of the night. The reached the edge of the beach and started for the group. "Oh, Annie, Drix, you just missed it!" Kitty greeted them with a worried expression, "There's been a stir on the OB. An outraged member tried to strike out against Adam!" "What?! Who was it?" asked Annie. "They're calling the person 'the messenger'. I don't think it was anyone we knew from way back, but they are really angry," Kane stood, "Supposedly, this madman is leaving riddles in the beaches..as drawings." Drix's face tensed, "What kind of drawings?" "Just things like symbols, stick figures, objects..random things really. They don't make sense," Kane scratched his head. The entire group shook their heads in confusion and concern. "What are we going to do, Annie? We can't just let Adam get attacked," said Reise, holding onto his marshmellow roaster. Annie paced the sand. Drix coughed lightly. "Oh, Annie, while you and Drix were talking, I went to visit that Baron myself," Kitty perched on a log, "And I was able to persuade him to let me in on a very valuable piece of information." "And what was that?" "Well, the information didn't come free," Kitty pointed at her head. She was wearing a new, and bigger, sunhat. "I see. You had to purchase something. Well, what did Baron tell you?" Annie sat across from the now extremely happy Kitty. "Apparently, James has been showing his face more frequently. Isn't it odd how he suddenly starts appearing out of nowhere when all of this spiteful member shows up?" Kitty peered around the group, "Well, it just so happens that James is Adam's bodyguard. He was on the beach today to scope the area, looking for the madman." "I see," Annie nodded. Drix stood up and shifted his stance a little nervously. "What's wrong, Drix?" Lalith Ril looked up curiously. Drix was starting to act strange...granted, he's strange anyway, but this was getting serious. Annie squinted up at Drix. "Annie, you wanted to know what was worrying me about James. Well, it started yesterday; when we first arrived at the beach. Everyone was off in the water, or playing games. I was taking some privacy, and just doodling in the sand. You know, like those rock gardens? It's just peaceful; I meant nothing by it. Then, I noticed James sitting by himself, just watching over the beach. I shrugged it off. But today, he was there again, as you know. However, he kept eyeing me. Like I was some sort of spammer," Drix paused. "So, you think James might suspect you," Annie finished before Drix could begin. "That's a reasonable guess," Kane nodded, "Kitty, did Baron happen to tell you what they plan to do with this member?" "The penalty is banning, with no last words. Once the perpetrator is caught, there will be no Miranda Rights. Just straight banned." Annie sighed heavily and buried her face into her sleeves. Her mind raced. If James were to get ahold of Drix.. "No! I won't allow it," she stood abruptly, throwing sand on those who sat next to her, "We have to go talk to him, and try to set this straight!" "No, there's no 'we'. I will have to go set things straight," Drix inhaled. "But-" Queen Asuka tried to throw in her two cents. "No, I must. If anyone is to get burnt, it will be me," Drix stood up and straightened his shorts, "Annie, don't follow me. No matter what you hear over the OB, do not follow." "Drix," Annie growled. "I'm serious, Annie." "Fine," Annie folded her arms under her breasts. Drix smiled appreciatively and waved the group "good-bye" before vanishing. The group all focused upon Annie. She had her back turned and was swaying side to side. "You're going to follow, aren't you?" sweetreyes tried to sound enthusiastic. "We'll just see what happens. If he doesn't contact me by mid-afternoon, I'm going after him," Annie turned around, "We have to get a back up plan going..just in case." The group huddled and began to discuss what could be done. |-Meanwhile, on Drix's end-| "Where do I even begin to look?" he grumbled, combing the horizon of a strange garden. He looked around to see that he had been transported somewhere in the html coding to an ancient Japanese dojo. The courtyard was serene and lit with several rice paper lanterns. Bonzai trees and a simple sandpit to his left, a small menagerie of colorful birds to his right. His swim shorts and T-shirt were now white robe and red pants. "So, you have found me. How?" a smooth Australian accent drifted around Drix, seemingly coming from every direction. "Honestly, I really don't know. You know the net, it just does crazy things sometimes," Drix chuckled slightly. "Indeed it does," the voice got stronger, slowly narrowing down to one direction, "Nevermind petty matters, I have something more of a serious tone to inquire." Drix turned to see a robbed figure leaning against a lamp post. The lamp dangling gently above the man illuminated a navy blue robe and white pants. The glint of the man's hip expressed he was carting a weapon, most likely to be a sword. Drix looked at his hip to find he, too, carried a sword. "How in the-?" he started. "The internet makes it possible, Drix D'Zanth. However," the man pushed himself off of the post, drawing out his katana, "It cannot save you." "Wait, I am not the one you want!" Drix grabbed at the hilt of his katana, "James, please listen. It was pure coincidence. I only just arrived on the beach yesterday. I had no idea about this estranged member. Please, hear me out." An uncomfortable silence weighed heavily on Drix. His palms began to sweat under such pressure. He kept his face calm and collected. James stared meticulously, raising his katana chest high. |-Back at the beach-| "Alright, everyone know what's going to happen if Drix doesn't contact us?" Annie slapped her hands together. "Yes!" they saluted. "Right. But just one more time, I'm going to go over it," Annie cleared her throat, "If, for some reason, Drix doesn't make it back, I have to figure out where James may be located. Then, in a Geisha get-up, I'm going to infiltrate his whereabouts. Hopefully, I'll be able to hold his attention long enough for you all to fan out and find Drix. Now, I'll keep in contact with you all through the little ear pieces Kane is going to issue us. You all will be able to hear me when I tug on my ear, and vice versa. If something goes wrong with James, I will inform you all. If something goes wrong with your end, you let me know." The group nodded. The fire burning brightly, crackling under gusts of the sea breeze. "Will we be teamed up?" Corey raised his hand. "Yes, great idea, Core. You all need to choose your buddy. I can't have all of you guys spread out at once, that would be a nightmare," Annie chuckled. The bandits all chattered about who was to be teamed up with who. Annie watched the arguements with amusement, but her mind kept wandering over the current shift of events. |-Back at the dojo-| "Unsheath your sword, Drix. If you can put up a good fight, I'll allow you to confess," James smirked, "However, if you prove nothing; you'll do better to save your confession for whatever power of being you believe in." "Very well," Drix sighed. He realized James was true to his word. The glitter of the smooth blade danced across the garden. Drix gripped the hilt with both hands, watching James with caution. The two took their stances. Drix with the blade close to his face and his feet apart. James stood straight, his body to the side, holding the katana with one hand. His blade still level with Drix's chest. Not a sound was heard; the birds of the menagerie stopped ruffling their feathers, the crickets had silenced their instruments, the two men's breath held steady. Without warning, James flicked his wrist and lunged; the katana drawn back. The sharp clink of metal pierced the silence, a small blue spark lit up the blades as they crossed. The birds remained still, and the fight began. Okay, okay. Sorry, Drix, I can't hold it back any longer. *laughs* That whole tiff was staged guys. Don't worry, Drix and I are on great terms. He informed me that he was going to "flame me". Why? We were bored. If you don't believe me: "Thanks a lot, I can?t believe you would sink so low.^_~" Hightlight that entire sentence. We originally planned to keep a joke going, but I chickened out. I'm sorry, Drix, hun. I just didn't want my thread to get closed. I love my story too much ^_^; So, no worries guys. Please, how did you like this chapter? I know, it's kind of short. But I was in a hurry to get it up before my thread got closed, hehe. I basically wanted to set a stage, hopefully it didn't get rushed. What do you all think? Do you think I went about it to quickly?

How silly of me, I forgot to explain this * In the chapter, I mentioned honorifics. Honorifics are nothing scary. Actually, they are really respectful..well, mostly respectful. Honorifics are suffixes to names. They can be of great respect, or to tease one of age or appearane. Some examples: -san: This is the most common honorific, and is pretty much equivalent to "Mr., Ms., Mrs..." et cetra. It's called the "all-purpose" honorific because you can never go wrong with addressing someone with this suffix. It's very polite. -sama: This is a step above "-san", signifying much more respect. -dono: This beats the two above. This originally comes from the word "tono" which means "lord". This is for utmost respect. -kun: This suffix is used at the end of a boy's name, and expresses familiarity or endearment. Sort of like how Americans would say "babe" or "hun". Adult males use it to converse with one another if they are good friends..or when they address the younger. -chan: Another endearment, mostly directed at the female gender. It can also be used to address little boys, pets, and even among lovers. Basically, anything that holds a sense of childish nature/cuteness. Sempai: The title addresses someone who might be a "senior". Often used in school to address a teacher, or upper classmen. Or even at a job to address the boss. Sensei: Literally means "one who has come before". This is commonly used for teachers, doctors, or masters of any profession or arts. Very respectful.

"Just say when," she said to him. The silence was nearly unbearable. Neither complained, it was their fault. "You have no choice," he sternly spouted. The tension thick as grease. All she thought about was her safety, rather than the life she beared. All he thought about was his heritage. Time to make ammends.

"So, Annie, Shin wasn't upset?" asked Queen Asuka. She sat ontop of a light pole--don't ask where it came from--and flipped her hair into the breeze. Male Gender: O.O So beautiful. After taking care of Shin's signature, the Bikini Bandits have found themselves on the Australian beach. Some of the girls, and guys, took to surfing. While the rest stayed ashore to play volleyball or baske in the sunlight. The sound of the waves breaking onto the beach, the sound of her friends laughing, the taste of a cold drink, Annie was pleased. The Bandits have worked hard. Annie felt that a nice breather for completing two missions in a row was in need. "U-uh, no Queeny. Actually, he commended me.." Annie spoke, pondering just how Asuka got up on the pole. Annie shrugged it off, the Chobit looked too cute to be clobbered with stones to get her down. "So, what's on our agenda now, Annie-sama?" asked Kyuai. "Hm, well. I don't know actually. So far, the OB has been pretty quiet," she stretched and walked over to the water. She stared into the blue horizon. "You know, Annie," Dr. D'Zanth stood next to her, "There is a new fear arising in this part of the OB." "What is that?" Annie slid her sunglasses down. Drix D'Zanth scratched at his chin for a bit before answering. "Well, it's a fear that I'm taking personally. You know there are ethnicities in the OB, duh. We're in the Australian part of the OB right now..and there is one man who's begining to frighten me,'' Drix looked around, "Actually, he's right over there." Drix pointed towards a tiki post. Annie peered around Drix, sliding her shades down. There he stood in the shadow of an over-sized umbrella. He wore a pair of khaki shorts, a pair of flip flops, a white trucker's hat, and no T-shirt. Around his neck was a single-shelled, hemp necklace. Annie squinted and glanced up at Drix. "Is that who I think it is?" Annie stood up straight and sipped on a cold drink that just happened to appear into her hands. Drix did the same. "Where did these come from..Anyway, yes. That is who you think it is," Drix nodded, "He's very dangerous, I hear." "What do you suggest? I don't even know why he's so 'dangerous'. What's he done?" asked Annie over her glass. The two began to walk the shore. "Well, I just don't know for sure. Everything I've heard was 'oh, I can't talk about it..bye!' And I couldn't get any substantial details. It's like..he's classified or something, ya know?" Drix glanced over his shoulder. "Really...Well, I won't send the Bandits out on a job blindfolded," said Annie, shaking her head slowly. "I know, I know," Drix paused, stopping in his tracks, "Annie, I have a bad feeling on this one. I'd like to investigate into it more." "Drix, you're our doctor. I can't put you at risk. What will happen if Chaos has another fit?" Annie stood in front of Drix. He looked away. "Fine, do as you please. But, take Kane with you. You may need his investigatory..ness.." Annie stopped, "Then, whenever you have found out something, report back to me. I'll do what I can to find out about this...James." "Thank you, Annie," with that, Drix rode off into the sunset..dragging Kane along. Okay, he really didn't ride off into the sunset, dragging Kane along. But he did walk away, beckoning Kane to his side..and not in that way, ya pervs! *shakes fist* Annie glanced over in the James' direction. He was gone. |-Hours later-| The sun had set, the autum colors painted the sand with warmth. The beach had begun to chill, forcing the girls out of the water, and around a fire. They all chatted about the day's events, how they would love to just stay in this section of the OB for a long time, or what the next mission should be. "By the way, where are Drix and Kane? I haven't seen them in hours," Corey picked at the sand. "They're doing some research. Drix has a hunch on something, but I don't know what he's going on about," Annie sipped on a cup of warm tea, "Where are all of my drinks coming from..Any how, it sounded kind of personal for him, so I let him go to check it out. Does anyone have any information on a James?" The group remained quiet, all eyes stared blankly at Annie. She shrugged. "Guess not," Annie stood, "Well, I'm going to go see if I can find out anything about him. Maybe ask a couple of locals. You all know how to contact me." "Wait, Annie," sweetreyes stammered to her feet, "Can I come with you?" "Sure thing. But it may get dangerous," Annie said over her shoulder. sweetreyes brushed sand off of her backside and trotted up to Annie. She nodded without a word and started towards the road. "So, where do we start?" "I don't know for sure. I hear James is hard to make contact with," Annie shook her head and looked down the street. A small light caught her attention, and she headed toward the source. sweetreyes followed and yawned. "It's a small souvenir stand. I thought they had all closed for the night," sweetreyes pulled back the wooden bead curtain. The inside of the stand was tiny; Annie and sweetreyes barely fit in the aisles. Glass cases lined the walls, containing dozens of hemp, leather, sea shell, necklaces and other assortments of home-made jewelry. There were some other products such as backpacks and hats. The sound of a light, but bizarre, music fluttered in the air. "Is anyone here?" Annie called out, looking into a small enterance to where she assumed led into a backroom. The sound of beads swishing and clapping together was soon heard, followed by the head of a young man poking through the bead divider. Annie and sweetreyes jumped slightly, bumping into eachother. "Oh, sorry 'bout that," the young man laughed nervously and stepped into the main part of the stand, "I was just makin' som'ore souvenir..stuff.." The two girls stared at the young man. His Australian accent mesmerized the two girls. His tanned skin gleamed lightly under the dim light of the stand, only to brighten up as he smiled. "Annie..can I have a few dollars?" sweetreyes grasped onto her friend's hand. The young man smiled in slight embarrassment. "Ssshh. Um, excuse our intrusion, but-" Annie began. "Nonsense. You're most welcome to be here," he smiled and grabbed a sleeveless T-shirt. "Please, don't-" sweetreyes began before Annie threw a hand over her mouth. "Hehe, she's just..hyper tonight," Annie blushed. The young man winked and pulled over his shirt. sweetreyes growled lightly under Annie's hand. "Oh, how rude o' me. My name is Baron Samedi. But you girls can call me Baron," Baron extended his hand to shake both Annie's and sweetreyes' hands, "Please, tell me what you'd like." "Oh, I'll tell you what I want-" sweetreyes was once again cut off by Annie's hand. sweetreyes: -_- "Baron, darling, would you happen to know anything about a James?" Annie smiled sweetly, hugging her friend innocently. Baron narrowed his eyes and folded his arms over his chest. Annie's smile slowly dimmed, she knew there was something to be heard. Whether it was going to be an interrogation from Baron, or a confession, Annie only knew it was to be serious. He walked over to a glass case and reached behind it. Annie and sweetreyes tensed up, ready for an attack. Baron noticed the girl's body movements and smirked before pressing a button. Then, an all too familiar greeting: "Welcome Baron Samedi. You've got no new messages.", followed by a holographic screen just above the case. The two girls relaxed a tad, gazing in awe at the technology. Baron walked around to touch the top of the case, revealing a flat, transparent keypad. "What do you want to know about James?" Baron again narrowed his eyes. "Are you going to find him on the internet?" Annie questioned. "No, I'm just going to check my e-mail," Baron grinned playfully. Annie: -_- "Well, let's just say it's personal..." Annie shifted, "Do you know anything about him?" "Of course I do. James is a good friend of mine. We are both Australian, ya know," Baron smirked, "However, I'm not going to rat him out. I'll answer the questions I want to answer. Is this understood?" Annie and sweetreyes nodded, finally letting go of each other. Baron turned his attention back to the holographic screen. He chuckled at whatever letter he was reading, then fell silent. Annie tapped her fingers on the glass she was leaning against. He then laughed some more. "Baron?" "Oh, right. Sorry-" he paused. "I'm Annie, this is sweetreyes," the two played with their fingers, embarrassed now. "Heh," Baron closed the window and turned to focus on the girls, "Now, ask away." "Why would someone think James might be dangerous?" Annie began. "Well, James is rather seclusive..unless he's known you for a while. But, I suppose his quietness can be rather intimidating to someone who doesn't know his personality." "Hm, okay then. What is he interested in?" "That's hard to say. James is an interesting person. He's really interested in anything that holds his interest.." A long pause, Annie stared blankly at Baron. "Right," she quirked an eyebrow, "That made sense." "Yeah.." Baron coughed. "Well, is there any one thing in particular that you know about James? Something that stands out?" sweetreyes piped in. Baron scratched his chin and sighed in thought. He stood quiet for minutes. Annie glanced at sweetreyes, who was gazing flirtatiously at Baron. She chuckled. "There is one thing. The Orient. James is particularly fond of the Oriental life-style. I've heard use the honorifics* to address people. And I know he has an insatiable love and obsession for the Geisha," Baron snapped his fingers. "Is that so..." Annie smiled and nodded. "Yes, in fact, he created a skin for the OB in the Geisha scheme. It's really quite vibrant," Baron nodded and waved his finger in the air, "I hope this helped?" "Muchly," Annie clapped her hands together, "Thank you, Baron." "No problem. But I'm afraid that's all I'm going to tell you. So don't ask where you might be able to find him," he firmly set his hand on an imaginary table in front of the girls. "You've given us enough information, and we appreciate your time," Annie pushed herself up from the glass case and reached out to shake his hand once more. sweetreyes did the same and sighed. Annie smiled at her and started for the door. Minutes later, the girls rejoined the group around the bonfire. They shared the information they received. "I've got to get in touch with Drix, though," Annie stretched. "I wish you could have let me tell him what I really wanted," sweetreyes sulked. Annie shook her head and signed onto her AIM account. GoddessUnluck: Drix, you there? jfettDwermer: yeah..how'd it go? GoddessUnluck: I have information for you. Did you find anything? jfettDwermer: yeah, i found out a few things jfettDwermer: what did you find? GoddessUnluck: Meet with me? At the boardwalk. jfettDwermer: it's a date ~_^ This is only the begining of a great project I'm doing with this. This journey will be different from the other chapters. Much different. Not just because James is in this, but because it's a different type of story. It's hard to explain, but it won't be rushed..no, this journey (as I'm going to call it) is going to be written in a more serious tone. It's basically me trying to focus on a member..not just myself. This journey will carry out through two, perhaps, three more chapters..or more. I have a great plan with the idea that Drix and James helped out with. And I just want to make them proud, and thank them both. Thank you guys! *hug*

Name- Kendra Bailey Age- 32 Gender- Female Appearance (if you were wondering)- Click here Biography- Kendra grew up in an average household. Her parents divorced when she was young, but this was normal for the present time; so 10 year old Kendra was not phased. Her father had been having an affair with a co-worker for the previous five years, and had had two sons with one on the way. Her mother became a manic depressant and ended up attempting suicide. Kendra's father then took custody of her; for her mother was declared incapable of taking care of her only child. Kendra, being the eldest, was left to take care of her younger brothers. The eldest brothers were twins, and her stepmother had just birthed another boy. Naturally, Kendra took care of him as well while her father and stepmother worked. She never minded much, she enjoyed taking care of people; considering she was never really looked after herself. So, her childhood was enjoyable. Until her father and stepmother fell victim to a tragic car accident. She was 18, her younger brothers 13 and 8 years old. The Department of Human Services took her younger brothers away from her, and put them in foster homes. She protested, being 18 years old and a legal adult, but the DHS argued, and won, that Kendra was not financially stable to take care of the children. Torn from her loving father and stepmother, and her brothers she held dear, Kendra slipped deep into depression. She had no one left. Her lifestyle struggled. Her three jobs left Kendra in a state of deshelvement. She was barely able to take care of herself. For the next ten and plus years, Kendra frequently tried to adopt her brothers, but was unable to win the case. She was able to visit her brothers, but they had grown to wish nothing to do with her; blaming her for not helping them. Finally, worn down and compeltely hopeless, Kendra heard of the scientific advancing experiments. With nothing to lose, and nothing to live for, Kendra decided to turn her life around. She had heard many rumors of this scientific experimental program as being a cloak and dagger society. Once you were in, you were in; never allowed to speak a word about the experiments, or leave the hospitals. You became non-exsistant. Precisely what Kendra wanted. So, she began her journey into the science fiction of reality.

Aww, that was sad. Well, it reminds me of my youth, and my favorite pair of shoes. My mother eventually threw them away..when I wasn't looking. So, it makes me sad. Really good one, Charles. Shoes are wonderful.

I've heard of this band. Didn't really listen to it much, though. I actually first heard this band in the Air Force basic training...so, I'm not particularly fond of the band. My training instructor made us listen to one of the songs (I don't remember the name) over and over again as we did our bed drills. Once we finished with all of the beds, he asked us if we knew the band he was playing. If we didn't guess right, we had to start all over. But the song was great, very uplifting. I enjoyed it, and I might be as so apprehensive to find an album and listen to it..if I get the money, lol.

Manga Suggestions on a beginner's first manga..
Annie replied to SaiyanDestroya's topic in Otaku Central
I've been drawing for around four years now. It's still a tough process for me to grasp. There are styles that I've tried that totally baffle me; then there are styles that are so simple. Tracing, I didn't ever trace (unless it was to mimmic my own drawing), is a good thing for begining artists. Once you get used to the form of the lines and all, you begin to develop your own style and idea. If you want to look off of a manga, and get some style from it, the simplest I would give you is from the manga The Demon Ororon. Not too much detail, simple lines, and an amazing sleekness. Very hot, pretty simple. -
There are times where I feel that I don't deserve or need someone's return. My example, my older sisters. I've not seen them in many years, but the instant they come to visit/or live with me, they insist on spending money on me. I feel incredibly bad for receiving their gratitude. I do stuff for them whenever I can sneak it, but they always come back at me with buying me things, or even doing my chore at the house (washing dishes). But then there are times in other situations where I like receiving appreciation, gratitude, thanks, gifts, whatever the case may be. There are times when I feel that it was deserved, and I'm thankful for it.

My zodiac sign is Virgo. I relate very well to my sign. Virgo's are reserved, calm, matured for their age, and are thinkers (analyzers). Now, some people here may know me to be a little crazy in chatrooms or IM convos, but IRL, if I didn't know you, then I'm very quiet and reserved.

I know this subject all too well. Sad? Probably. I've been PMed several times to reqest that I "stop playing mod". But I can't help it. I do use the advising button in many occasions. I have PMed new members about things. It isn't like I totally disregard the basic rules of notifying the mod and/or the member. I've never been blunt or rude about it..even when the moderator asked me to stop. It's been a very, very long time since I've done this. In fact, yesterday, if my memory serves me right, was the first time in over a year I had actually said something to a new member. In this thread, I was just welcoming and helping the new member to the proper forum. Now, Morpheous, the reason Lore gave is exactly why I didn't help her out with the question she was looking for. I felt that it was only necessary to direct the member to the proper forum..to get the help she/he needed. And the little "*holds hand out for scolding*" may have been a little immature on my part. But, I knew what I was doing, and I knew I would probably receive a PM from Panda. Knowing the rules, and knowing the consequences, I just wanted to help out the member. I'm here [on the OB] more than I should be sometimes, and I see so many things. And, I use the advisory button 99.9% of the time...or I go and bug whichever moderator is on my buddy list.

Hey there, welcome to the OB. If you want to get some advice on graphics (banners, avatars, wallpapers, greetings, etc), there's a whole forum dedicated to that: "The Art Studio". *holds out hand for a scolding*

Haha! Juu, you are so great. The pretzel factory was my favorite. What would I do with a million dollars? That is hard to say. I think I'd (looking at it realistically) buy a house of my own in California, a truck, food, and some male entertainment. Whatever's left of that, I'd save it. Boring? Yeah, but I'm not one for eccentric spending. I buy what's practical. "But Annalisse, isn't the male entertainment a bit-" Never. How dare you ask. That is vital to a woman's health >:O

Her heart beat as she paced the cold tile. Her Desert Eagle gleamed softly under the lights of the vanity mirror. She stood still in front of the mirror, caressing her belly. She glanced at the sink, at that little white strip. "Shit," her voice trembled. The danger is over. She'll be a mother.

Discuss (Pirates) Scourge of the Spanish Main (M-VL)
Annie replied to Drix D'Zanth's topic in Theater
Well, I thought about it, and I've decided I'll post up a character profile of my pirate. Name- Madlynn McCathry Age- 24 Appearance- *additions to her garments: a waist-length/rear-length bustle jacket with red satin lining, a leather belt that slings around her waist, pair of brown, lace-up boots, and a traditional buccaneer's hat..with the feather. Biography- Madlynn was born and raised in the small number of aristocracy in Ireland. She was enrolled in the richest, and most prestigious, of schools. She was brought up prim and proper. However, Madlynn was a true tomboy at heart. Whenever the chance, usually always when she spent time with her father, Madlynn was running around in her knickers and playing swords with her father's canes. She had always dreamed of adventure, and began to research into the pirate's life. Her mother, of course, was repulsed by her daughter's interest and enthusiasm for the culture. Madlynn didn't care, rather, she continued on into her teens of dreaming the pirate's life. She even began to talk differently; only fueling her mother's concerns. It wasn't until Madlynn was of sixteen years old that her life took a drastic turn. Her father, the man she trusted, had decided enough was enough. He made arrangements for Madlynn to be wedded. Hurt and betrayed, Madlynn ran from her home and never looked back. She traveled on her end for the next eight years, living the freedom she had always dreamed of; although, not yet a pirate. Weapon[s]- Despite her sweet and innocent appearance, Madlynn is not a weakling female. C'mon, a female in the life of piracy? You know she's got to be packing something. Madlynn carries one cutlass on a hip sling, several throwing daggers under her bustle jacket, and a blunderbuss in a thigh holster underneath her skirt. -
Not to his own liking- they say that he discovered the "true" word of God ( and not in a desert, either- it was somewhere on the East coast of the United States- like New York or Jersey or something) and that he was their prophet- that the lost tribes of Israel travelled to the American continent so many years ago and buried some gold or bronze leaf that had the true word of God inscribed on them- not the words of the prophets and apostles, mind you, but the words of the Christ himself... and everyone knows that the true words of Christ negate anything some prophet or apostle said- even if it was in Christ's name... *smirking*...So he found the word of Christ, used a pair of magical eyeglasses to interpret what was written, and had visions of angels that came to speak to him, and thus became the Mormon prophet which the Book of Mormon was written after- though I don't think he wrote it himself...
I stand corrected. And thank you for explaining that to me. But where did he get the idea that the Mormon men can have as many wives as they want? Why do the men of the Mormon religion seem to have more priveleges than women? Smirk all you want; yes, you corrected me. Now go baske in it :p
However, this true word of god on the golden leaves is once again buried or something until... I don't know when... and I think the magical glasses disappeared, too, somehow... I couldn't take it seriously enough to continue studying it after I asked the Mormon ...uh...missionaries?... why they view blacks as an inferior race and they became really angry with me for questioning that. I'm pretty sure that it stems from the whole Lost Tribes of Israel /master race bull****, though.
All men created equal, yes? Once again, that kind of goes back on my questions I stated earlier (about marriage and rights). Did the "magical glasses" just disappear at on certain point in their Bible? All of these questions lead me to think that he had totally re-written the Bible, or whatever book he claimed to find.
And if it is the "hm" of doubt, then why did you refer to the "new" religion as a religion? You know... the "very well known" one? If you call it a religion, then they did, in fact, create their own religion, nes't-ce-pas?
That "hm" was not of doubt. Why would I be doubting anything? The religion I was talking about was Mormon. From what I understand, some man claimed to have found a book in the desert and rewrote the book to his liking..? I'll be honest that I don't know the details, so I will stand corrected if someone were to set that straight in my mind. They did create their own religion. I never said anything to say that it hadn't been done before. Am I saying that believing in different religions is wrong? No, absolutely not. I just don't agree it's right, that's all. I agreed to his interest in all of the forms of religion he looked into. Hell, I love looking into all sorts of religion, too.

I like this idea. But like Panda, I would be afraid of members just rushing through random threads just to get post count; developing no quality or structure. I personally know a few members I introduced to the OB, and when they understood the concept of post counts, I noticed their quality took a plunge into the carpet. Then there is Syk3's area, that would be a hassle. Although, there still is the PM way. New members look around at threads, are able to post in exsisting threads, and they see who can/cannot do graphics. They can always PM a person. But we all know how the PM system goes; it doesn't, it usually ends up as spam. So I don't know. If I were desperate enough for a banner or avatar, I'd PM someone who knows what they're doing (I've PMed Syk3 a few times). Then again, that's just me. I tend to use that "common sense" trait.

Hm, well..I did the font how I did because of the essence of air...But I'm sorry, I'm not that great with this stuff, so I can't do the font like you want it..
Have you ever heard a "true" christian talk? Here is my example... YOU ARE GOING TO HELL IF YOU DO NOT DO EVERY SINGLE THING THAT I SAY!
Do you honestly think that I have not had discussions with "true Christians"? Honestly, give me a break. I have spoken with all sorts of religions..including "true Christians". And I've had flared up arguements with them as well. I know exactly how they talk. On top of that, I lived in the freakin' Baptist belt..and was, at the time, a practicing Catholic. How do you think I felt? I know exactly how they act, talk, and believe.
Which was also possibly quoted from Bill O' Reilly. Also, muslim, hows this for ridiculous, " YOU MUST KILL PEOPLE TO WORSHIP GOD"! Ridiculous? Yes. Ignorant? Yes.
Ignorant:

Lacking education or knowledge.
Showing or arising from a lack of education or knowledge: an ignorant mistake.
Unaware or uninformed.
Knowing the meaning of a word is really a beautiful thing..think about that.
