1.
*Puts a towel on the sand and lays down on it, clad in a sparkly blue bikini* Sometimes I think it's dangerous to be around so many beautiful women and wear a bikini. You never know what might... pop up...
XD!!! OMFG!!!11!1 I love you, Core! I just knew something along those lines was going to be brought up by you, and no other, lol. It's good that I've seen more of Corey..Er, I mean, more about some of the Bandits. I didn't know that Erica loved spiders! *shudders* I am terrified by them..But good interaction.
  2. Yuki, I strongly believe, is a female ^_^ But, that's easy to mistake. (Read the little messages that she writes in the chapters) Her art is beautiful and very detailed. It just depends on the reader to make the judgment. Some people like the detailed manga, some like the chibi mangas. So, I won't shun you ^_^. I do like the less detailed manga's like Negima! and Chobits. So, I am won't be biased on style's of manga.
  3.
I believe it'd be more like Jack Sparrow versus Barbosa; two immortals locked in an endless battle. We're so awesome that defeating each other would be some kind of rediculous joke. And my name has a space >:^O
Classy of you DW...and I know your name has a space!! Shyte! I knoweth these things! And don't you ">:^O" at me! Anyways, I'm glad you all like the story (on the acception of poopy face DW).

Oh my, where do I begin?
I wasn't expecting cool battle scenes, because it was only rated PG13.
That will come into play in a minute.
The battles in the movie were so (and I will be harsh) horrible, that I would have prefered there be no action AT ALL.
Really now? You said yourself that the rating was PG-13. Didn't it occur to you that it wasn't meant to be an action movie to begin with? Seriously, start really looking into movies, rather than pick them apart to find something that you want to see. Watch movies for what they mean.
I was expecting a better story. Kill Bill wasn't ALL about the blood. Kill Bill had a great story of revenge and hate.
Oh, and this movie wasn't about hate and revenge? That tells me you didn't really watch the movie. Nameless explains why he's set on assassinating the king. It's out of his hatred for the King, and his lust for revenge, that sets the story into motion. I'm not going to explain this perfectly clear picture to you. Go watch the movie again, and really pay attention.
Sure there was a dramatic difference in each flashback, but all of them involve the same three people doing practically the exact same thing.
Oh my God. Each flashback was, in fact, different. The red scenes were way different from a white/blue scene. The anger wasn't in the blue scenes as much as the red. (Hint: colours say more than words, duh) The blue/white scenes were more loving and longing; rather than the red scenes that were hateful and violent. Once again, go watch the movie and pay attention.
Some parts were all right, like when he knocked over all those scrolls, and when BS wen't over to wipe the water off of FS's cheek. But the OVERALL story was just wrong.
What was wrong about the story? What? I'm not seeing this. The story is beautiful. It tells stories of love, hate, passion, and respect. It tells us stories within one story. Or maybe your mind is too shallow and simple to grasp that.
You said yourself that the lie was evolving, but I would have enjoyed it a heck of a lot more if it was just the truth.
The point of the movie was to eventually come to a truth. If it had simply spilled the truth within the first half hour, then you wouldn't have a story to the movie. It would have been a stillmate. It would have been a yuppy, drab, and colourless movie. Or is it that some people just don't have taste? You take your pick, because I'm sure I know what it is.
And I don't see how the guy was a hero. (and quite frankly, I don't care)
Ever heard of "it's just an expression"? Besides, didn't he let the king live? He could easily have murdered the king, but he chose not to. And in choosing to let the king live, what we know now as China, would not have come to pass. Letting the king live allowed unity to all of the lands that make up "our land". Thus, making him a "hero". But you wouldn't see that, would you? You have alot to learn when it comes to interpretation of a story.
  5.
To be honest, I don't like the manga as much as I do the anime. It changes little. Usually going from a comic to a TV episode, DOES make it better, same story fer AS.
I'm going to disagree with you on this. The anime isn't all that great. It skips and leaves out so much detail. Transition from manga to anime is way different for Angel Sanctuary. Gaps are left, details lost, information lackage. If you first watch the anime (like I did) then read the manga, you can see major changes. So, going from comic to TV episode did not sway in the favor here. I was highly disappointed with the anime. Though, I would love to own all of the episodes. Yes, Azure, the manga is up to the fifth volume in the US (which I now have ^_^ whee!) I have yet to read the fifth, but the fourth volume is the main transition. The books are still called Angel Sanctuary, but now they are now referred to as "Angel Sanctuary: Books of Hades"...how absolutely wonderful!! *squees* I can't wait to read it! I just have to find time T_T...
  6. Okay, I know my Bandits know that there is a thread in the Arena Underground for them to carry out discussions. So, if members wish to discuss random bikininess topics, please, take it there. And LOL @ Chaos! ^_^ I'm glad we could satisfy you...er, the girlies anyway. Please have patience. And please cease the cluttering of this thread; it's meant for replies to the story. EDIT- Here it is! The second chapter!! Chapter 2- Showdown "Bandits, I have called you here today to discuss our current mission," Annie swivels around in her chair. Nine members sat around the round table. It was a rather large round table, but not too round as to seperate all the members that sat around the round table..o.O. Anyhoo, Annie stood, placing her hands on her bared hips. She twirled the gold chain around her fingers. The light bouncing off of the precious metal and her two-toned bikini. The members, all decored in their bikinis, gazed at Annie for further announcing. "DragonWarrior has begun to venture farther than I had imagined. Just the other night, I was attending an OB chat. He was there," Annie began to pace around the table. "Did he try any sexy tricks?" A male bikini bandit questioned, plucking at an imaginary beard. "No, Corey. Well, at least not in the chat room. He was busy helping Shy find Christmas music," Annie placed a hand on Corey's shoulder, "No, he was a sneaky devil and IMed me." A gasp drifted throughout the room. Annie then spun around and walked over to the slide projector. The wall in front of her lit up with an IM box. The box contained messages sent by the illustrious evil, DragonWarrior. "Here's a clip of what he pulled," Annie pressed the button on the remote and a message popped into the box. ZeroFeather: :3 GoddessUnluck: O.o? ZeroFeather: *nibbles on your garments* GoddessUnluck: Hey! Now my garments are wet! The room again gasped. Some shifted in their seats. Annie nodded solemnly then pressed the button again. ZeroFeather: *seizes your lap* GoddessUnluck: How can you seize my lap? ZeroFeather: as in take over, claim GoddessUnluck: Oh...wait, you can't seize my lap!! ZeroFeather: *nibbles on James' garments* "That's it! I cannot bear to watch anymore!" a Chobit in a lacey bikini jumped from her seat, slamming curled fists onto the table, "He's gone too far! Who will he nibble next?! It certainly won't be me. I paid too much money on this beautiful bikini! I won't allow this!" "That's the spirit, Queen Asuka!" sweetreyes stood next to her. "Annie, what is our first attack?" a dark character caressed her boa snake. "Good question, Neuvoxetere. Our first attack will be on his territory. We will invade his myOtaku site and destroy all of those ridiculous dancing mages!" Annie whipped her gold chain, forcing everyone in front of her to jump in their seats. "But Annie, no offense, DW's site is loaded with HTML. And frankly, you're no expert at it," Methuselah pointed out, "I don't mean to sound rude.." "No, you are absolutely right. I have accepted my HTML illiteracy," Annie sighed and sat on the table, "That is why I called-" Annie gestured towards the door as it began to open on que. A young man in an aqua blue attire stepped into the room. "Kane?!" Corey squeed, then suddenly realizing that he is half naked and quickly covers himself. Kane quirked an eyebrow and shook his head in disbelief. "Corey? I would never have expected to see you in a bikini," Kane averted his eyes, "I had hoped I would never have seen this." Awkward silence lingered over the room. Then sweetreyes decided to break the moment. "Annie, Kane's not that experienced. Why would you put him in this position? He could be sexified by DW!" "I think not," Annie slid off of the table and stood beside the repulsed Kane, "Gavin here has dealt with DragonWarrior before. He knows how DW's mind works." "Which should be more frightening than seeing me in a bikini," Corey grumbled. Kane coughed lightly. After another silence, Annie coughed. Followed by Sonata, then by LalithRil, and then by Kyuai. "Alright, enough coughing! Let's get this plan rolling!" Kitty burst, tossing a beach towel in the air to reveal her bright yellow bikini. "I'm in Heaven!" Chaos, out of the clear blue, bounced up and down on the table. "WTF?!" Queen Asuka protested, shoving Chaos off of the table, "This is MY stage!" Chaos: T_T "What? Where did you come from?!" Annie leapt back in absolute surprise. Hours later.... "Okay! So, here's the plan: Some of us are going to actually enter the HTML to penitrate DW's myO and begin reconfiguring the codes to our liking, which will be what?" Kane was now on the table, pacing back and forth with a ruler in his hand. Queen Asuka glared. "The Bikini Bandit logo of the half naked Faye!" the room chanted, except for Asuka who was still mad at Kane for taking her table-like stage. "Wonderful! The rest of us are going to distract DW by what?" Kane whipped the ruler at Kitty. "Um..erm..By laying on the beach all sexah like?" "Wrong! Now off with the sun hat!" "Aw man..." Kitty reluctantly took off her hat. Chaos: ^_^ Take off more! "Shut up, Chaos. Now, who will answer the question correctly?" "I will,'' LalithRil stood slowly, "While the lot of us are redecorating DW's myO, the rest of us are to distract him with promises of mass womanesses. Once we have his attention, those who are to distract DW, will ensnare him with jumbled HTML coding and trap him in an Error! page." "Correct! Annie, love, that is your job ~_^" Kane chuckled. Annie: T_T I am so embarassed. "It's okay, deary. You're HTML illiteracy pays off in this story," LalithRil cuddled Annie. With the plan of the showdown formulated, it would be a matter of time for the Bikini Bandits to act. This was a delicate process, and mistakes were not going to be tolerated. The clock ticks, the bikinis were tight, Kane blindfolds himself from Corey, and Chaos: ^v^ Heaven!! To be continued in chapter three!! Also, to see the gold chain that I kept mentioning, see attachment.
  7. Oh my, I could go on forever with this thread. I know so many favorite quotes, but to begin..I'll start wtih my newest obsession, and Siren will agree: "Hey! If you're going to be gay about this, you can't play." ~Cpt. Hero, Drawn Together Love that show! And for a movie quote, James will concur: "As your leader, I encourage you from time to time, and always in a respectful manner, to question my logic. If you're unconvinced a particular plan of action I've decided is not the wisest; tell me so. But allow me to convince you, and I promise you right here and now; no subject will ever be taboo. Except, of course, the subject that was just under discussion. The price you pay for bringing up either my Chinese or American heritage as a negative is: I collect your f**king head. Just like this f**ker here. Now, if any of you sons of ******** got anything else to say, now's the f**king time!...I didn't think so..." ~O-ren Ishii, Kill Bill vol.1

    slipknots new album?

I myself am not a big fan of Slipknot. There are a couple of songs from their older albums that I do like. But I must say, their latest album is awesome. I can't place my finger on as to why I love this album, but it really does catch me. Maybe it's because I can actually understand what they are saying; and yet, I can hear the music. Those two factors combined equals a very good flow of music and lyrics. Some fans of Slipknot don't really like this album because they find it too "soft" for the band. This may be true, but admit it, the album rocks. Isn't there already a thread for this topic?
  9. Ooh, well done. I have always wanted to play a twisted part. Name- Oscar Victorias Age- 16 Gender- Male Love Interest- For many years, Oscar has endured abuse that know child should ever encounter..especially from their father. But as Oscar began to age into a teenager, he has developed a special emotion due to his childhood. Oscar, like his father, is homosexual. But unlike his father, Oscar admits to his secret and is not afraid to show his secret. Being sixteen is difficult for any teen; but for Oscar, being sixteen is becoming a nightmare. He's in love with Elliot. Whom Oscar had just found out is a deep crush of Anna's. What a year this will be, especially with the Valentine's Ball just around the corner. Appearance-Oscar Personality- Very kind and caring, yet dark and mysterious. Bio- Growing up in a middle-class home, Oscar was given the attention and love every child strives for from their parents. He had many friends in his youth and lived a wealthy childhood, full of happiness and excitement. But, all is gold can't glitter forever; it soon becomes tarnished. At the age of thirteen, Oscar's parents fought through a volcanic divorce. Oscar, was left to wake in the ashes of the aftermath. After many court hearings and case pendings, Oscar's father held custody of the thirteen-year old youth. This only resulted in what will change Oscar's emotianal well-being for the rest of his life. Age fourteen, Oscar's father accepted a promising job in London. His mind and heart took a turn for the worst; all of his friends, gone; all of his goals and dreams, gone; his faith, gone. The children of Penny Lane High, much like any other person in the population, did not take kindly to change and took it upon themselves to torment the "new guy". Their bullying games and pranks received their greedy satisfaction, only driving Oscar deeper into himself. School was not any better for him. Here the teachers took advantage of the boy's fragility, brutally toying with his emotions and, sometimes, his virginal body. Many complaints to his father and to the principal, but were ignored. Oscar's father blamed the matter on his son's anger at him for the divorce and the move. The principal, of course, denied such an outrage on the boy's accusations. For Oscar, the torment did not stop at school. His father took many woman into the home in attempt to move on, but all efforts failed. Oscar grew cold to the futile attempts and odd antics and behavior. Frustration naturally set inside his father's heart, residing into ritual sexual and physical abuse. Nothing Oscar couldn't handle, until one autum night. An arguement errupted between father and son, the father being heavily inebriated and full of rage. Pent up sexual frustration and stress from work was the bane of Oscar's memories of that night. A delicate teenager, tainted by his father's overbearing fury of twisted, sexual abuse. Oscar knew then his father's sinful secret. Oscar's appearance may not show his dark secret, but deep inside, his heart festers in terrorizong decadence of sexual torment.
I'm surprised nobody has complimented the film in how the colours represented the different emotional perspectives of the film. Grey - Calm; Red - Anger + Lust; Green - Jealousy; White - The Greater Good; Blue - Sadness + Honour.
Here's my input on that. There you will find my fascination for colour. I agree with you in that the colors played a major role in this movie. Even if you could not read the subtitles quick enough, you were still able to grasp the content of the scene through the variety of color. The Sky vs Nameless scene was magnificent. The rain was beautiful and set the mood to the fight. The next fight scene that mystified me was the one between Flying Snow (Maggie Cheung) and Zhang Ziyi. The contrast of Snow's passion (color=red) against the bright, falling yellow leaves and the relentless wind (which I saw to be her sorrow and shame) was brilliant. If you read myO's post on colour, you'll see my obsession for this topic. -Jet Li's acting, I agree with Lore. Li's character (Nameless) was not meant for emotions and drama; you got enough of that through his many stories. He was there to accomplish a goal. He was an assassin. -The length of the "flash backs", I felt that the length of all was necessary. There was so much to be said, and the length abided to this need. As James said, the fight on the lake may have been lengthy, but it was needed to show Broken Sword's love for Snow. And Nameless's respect for Sword and Snow. It showed sides of the characters that would never have been completely shown if it were deleted from the movie. Respect and honor are two very important factors in Asian culture. And that scene captured that fact. -The artistics of the battles. Of course, this was intentional. The "floatiness" is the discipline of freeing your spirit, freeing your mind, allowing kharma and fate to guide you. Having faith in your abilities. And all of the "floatiness" represents just that. I think most people underestimate the meaning of Chinese, or Asian, movies. You have to remember the ways of their culture. Knowing this, it should make sense as to why Asian directors do the things they do.
  11. "You are going soft on Gabriel..I'm very disappointed, Lucifer dear," Mutuol shook his head. "Nonsense! How dare you utter such words!" Lucifer's face turned various shades of red. "There would be no need to yell if it were in fact dishonest," Mutuol caressed Lucifer's heated cheek with the back of his hand. Mutuol stood a good foot and a half above Lucifer. She glared up at her servant, her teeth bared her anger at him. "However, it does not matter to me. You know what you are doing," Mutuol pinched her nose, "right?" Lucifer sighed, "Yes, Mutuol. I know exactly what I am doing. And I am not going soft on Gabriel. I will slaughter that damned angel." "Oh, but there's a problem there. Gabriel is not damned. We are, silly girl," Mutuol planted a swift kiss to her cheek then spun around to meet up with Z. "Mutuol!" "Yes, yes. I am going after this Marcus, don't worry," Mutuol waved over his shoulder. He walked out of the council chamber and sauntered down the hallway. A pretty maid turned the corner to brush against him. "Lord Mutuol, please forgive me! I didn't mean-" the maid bowed politely. "Fear nothing, pretty maid. It was a mere accident," Mutuol lifted her chin, "Now, run along and attend your mistress." The maid smiled in gratitude, bowed, then hurried away to her chores. Z was standing in the garden entrance way. The garden bloomed in pinks and vivid purples. Vines of jasmine and sweetpea hung lazily from arbors and trees. "Hey buddy," Z glanced over his shoulder, " didn't know Lucifer loved gardens. There all over the grounds." "Yes, just because she's the Queen of Darkness, it doesn't mean she wouldn't adore beauty," Mutuol stood beside his friend. "Beauty is right. But what do I know about beauty? Heh," Z pushed himself from the door and shoved Mutuol into the statue behind him. "Hey now, you punk!" Mutuol jumped on Z. The two wrestled hard. Pinning and head-locking eachother. Their laughter was echoed about the mansion, luring Lucifer out to watch in amusement. "Boys! Must you continue this in my house? You'll break something!" Lucifer laughed. The two stood up, Mutuol wrapping an arm around Z's neck. The two smiled like a couple of children trying to be innocent. "Sorry, Mistress. We'll get on with the mission now," Z winked and headed for the main entrance. Mutuol followed. Hm...Marcus, right? This should be interesting...
  12. |--"This is mutiny!" "Yes, mutiny, Cpt. D'Andros." "But why!? I've done nothing to deserve this!" A mass of twenty or so men glared. All were armed with pistols and whatever blunt objects they could carry. Encircling Vivian with a hunger. A hunger not of lust and longing; but rather, a hunger for her downfall. All bound and determined to rid Vivian of their lives. "You've taken us far enough with this mission! We are tired of waiting! We want our families, and you tell us that you cannot grant us communications!" a stouty man spoke for all. "I have no control over the fucking communications!" Vivian, armed with a .45 Magnum, eyed her rebels with careful consideration. "Bullshit!" the man's voice bellowed and echoed off of the steel walls, his fist shaking in anger, "I'm tired of this place. There is a serious issue that you did not mention about this fucking Hell hole! And now we want to leave." "I cannot do that, or I would have sent you all to your families long ago," Vivian tried to sway the tension. The men felt no wave of compassion, and slowly began to close in on Vivian. However, she did not falter. Her body stood proudly and rigid. Not a single muscle flinched. "You are a lying cunt. You brought us out here to be lab rats! You were planning on leaving us here to die!" "Absolutely not," Vivian's eyes narrowed, her voice rumbled within her breast. Minutes passed in a deathly silence. The men glanced around the room, questioning eachother of what they were supposed to do. Vivian shifted her eyes at every single one of them, her Magnum steadily following her stare. Sweat beading on their faces, dripping into their eyes. Vivian noticed they all constantly blinked, trying to force the stinging salt of their sweat from their eyes. "C'mon, Vivian. You are severely outnumber-" "You will address me as your officer, Sgt. Linney," Vivian's wrist rotated to point the powerful gun horizontally, "And outnumbered or not..everyone of you will die. If not by my hand, then by his..." "What? Who are you referring to?'' A curling smile crept across Vivian's face. The crowd of men slowly stepped back. "Him...he's coming for all of us,'' Vivian swung her arms about the room carelessly. The men shouted and ducked. Vivian slumped over, hacking and gasping for breath. Then, with a sudden breath of air, she roared with laughter. Her actions frightened the men gravely. This was not the behavior of the Vivian they had known. No, this was not Vivian; her eyes told them so. "I am coming for you all...retribution will at my hands," the estranged Vivian stared lovingly at her hands before returning her attention to the men, "And what a bloody fucking satisfaction it will be.." A single shot fired--| "No!!" Vivian shot out of her bed. Her garments drenched in hot sweat. Her body temperature forced her to vomit and choke. Her vision blurred, swirled, then focused back to normal. Vivian lay on her back to await the dizzyness to fade. The ceiling's grating mimicked a kaleidoscope. Finally, the room stopped spinning. Vivian's mind surfaced from the sickening swimming. She rose to her feet, slowly, and sauntered to a small sink. She peered into the mirror to see blood seeping into the middle of her abdomen. "What the-" Yes, it is just as you think..Sometimes, dreams are so intense, so realistic..that they haunt you even in wake... "Am I..going to-" Of course not, my dear Vivian...I cannot let go of you.. An icey breeze caressed Vivian's lips, as if someone where brushing their fingers over them. She shuttered and quickly exited her quarters, the door hissing behind her. She rounded the corner to see Van slipping out of Trini's room. "Is she alright?" Vivian folded her arms over the blood spot in her sweater. Van jumped back slightly, caught off-guard. Vivian walked up to him. "She's not in a good state of mind, but she'll pull through. She always does," Van's fingertips grazed the door, his face worn. Vivian smiled lightly and moved past Van to continue into the corridor. She was stopped by Van's stern grip on her arm. "What is on your sweater, Vivian?" Van stared questionably into Vivian's eyes. "I don't like jokes, Van," she chuckled nervously and tried to pull away from his grip. "I don't like jokes either. In fact, I despise them..." Van's hand tightened mercilessly around Vivian's arm. The two stared at one another. Van wanting answers; Vivian deciding to answer. "I think we need to talk, my dear," Van pulled Vivian harshly down the corridor.

  14. |-Several blocks away from the mansion-| Mutuol stops and gazes into the horizon. A soft warmth caressed his face. It was the sun. Its powerful rays burst through the dispersing clouds. Rotating his wrist, Mutuol carefully examined his hand. His eyes narrowed, watching the pale grey of his flesh turn live and peach. "Earth to Mutuol. I asked you a question," Z nudged the oblivious angel in the ribs. "Sorry, Z. What did you ask me?" "Why did you make me take that baby?" Z tugged Mutuol's arm to continue walking. "That baby, no matter what I think of humans, did not deserve his mother's impudence." "What did she do?" "She died of her greed." Mutuol gritted his teeth. His feet sinking into the puddles of the dilapidated sidewalk. "Greed for what?" "Drugs, sex, money. It disgusts me so," Mutuol's stomach wretched, "That baby would have grown up in such filth. I could not bear the thought of it." Z said nothing. He knew better to question Mutuol's rarity of pity. The two walked on silently. The city bustled with life. Horns blaring, people yelling, and bodies running back and forth. Mutuol lost himself in deep thought until he felt it. He felt a sense of purity. Much like the purity the sunlight cast on his skin. "Z, keep your eyes open for them. I can feel one near us." "Sure thing." Mutuol gently pushed a woman from his path. The two began to cross a pedestrian crosswalk. A flood of faces washed over Mutuol's ever watchful eyes. He scanned the wave of humans carefully, seekingly. Z glanced behind him to make sure he hadn't missed anyone. A boy, no more than twelve years of age, paused on the curb ahead of Mutuol. The two stood nearly six feet in front of another. Mutuol smiled as the boy's face drained of color, replaced by fright. "Well, hello there. Mind if I have a word with you?" Mutuol crept closer. The boy suddenly spun around, bolting off into a corner store. Mutuol quickly pursued, throwing the glass doors into the store's customers. The young boy grabbed anything he could to tosse over his shoulder, in hopes to slow his follower. In fact, it had only slowed himself. The chase continued up a flight of stairs. Mutuol growled in annoyance and pounced on the child, sending the two reeling into a storage room. "Whoa, Mutuol! Don't you think you're bein' a bit harsh on the kid?" Z panted in the doorway. "He is no child...are you?" Mutuol pinned his prey to the floor. "Get your hands off of me! You-" "No, you are not. You may look like a human child, but you are far more than that, Angel," Mutuol gripped the young angel's jaw in one hand, "Say what you will, I dare you.." Mutuol's voice iced over, his grip on the angel's jaw tightened mercilessly. The angel yelped out in pain. "What is your name, dear boy?" "A-Afriel, angel of purity, youth, and prosperity for men.." Afriel's face streamed with steaming sweat and tears. "Afriel, you have two choices today. Choices that will determine if I let you live, or persuade me to kill you. I hope you are aware of the danger you are in with just my touch.." Mutuol's hand slowly blackened. Afriel's eyes bulged, a small whimper crept into his throat. A sly smile snuck to the corner of Mutuol's mouth. "I-I am, Lord Mu-Mutuol," Afriel whispered faintly. "Good boy. Now, I'm going to ask you a couple of questions. If you answer with sincerity, I'll allow you to live. If you do not answer, I shall crush your delicate face in the bare of my hand. Do you understand?" Afriel nodded slowly. "Where is Gabriel?" "I-I'm afraid I cannot say. For, the Sammael doesn't even know his whereabouts. I promise, I do not lie," Afriel flinched, fearing that Mutuol would squeeze. "Very well, Afriel. Sammael would know better than anyone. Second question, where is the Angel's Lair?" Mutuol stretched his ebony wings. "It is not of this country, Lord Mutuol..." Afriel's eyes glided over the black wings. "That answer does not amuse me, Afriel," Mutuol's hand squeezed the angel's fragile bone. "A-ah! I can show you!! Pl-please don't!" Afriel shut his eyes in pain. Z tilted his head. Mutuol flashed a pleased smile, though keeping his relaxed demeanor. Afriel choked and sputtered plees of mercy. "Alright, young Afriel," Mutuol released his grip and stood, "Show us where the Lair is." "Thank you, Lord Mutuol. Your mercy will not be taken for granted," Afriel rose to his knees and bowed. Mutuol and Z glanced at one another. Z looked slightly concerned, but Mutuol winked. Afriel slumped over, both palms flattened on the floor. He gripped at his stomach, coughing up blood. Z jumped back. "Your betrayal to your God, dear Afriel. You will soon become my disciple and loyal servant to Lucifer," Mutuol knelt beside the tossing angel, "Do not fight, Afriel. You only make the transition process worse and excruciating." "I-I don't want this!" "Too bad, kid," Z knelt beside Mutuol, "You signed the contract with your agreement in taking us to the Angel's Lair. Don't worry, kid. I met Lucifer. She's actually very nice." Afriel stumbled to his hands and knees, only to fall back down as he passed out. "He'll be fine once he awakens. He'll be a strong servant," Mutuol lifted the angel's tormented body into his arms, "Let's go back to the mansion. I wish to deliver a gift to Lucifer." "Alrighty then," Z jumped to his feet and followed Mutuol out into the city streets.

Yes, I found similarities between Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon and Hero. The fight sequences in Hero were more exaggerated than in Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. And the colors (I like color, if you couldn't tell) played more of a role. That makes me happy. The over-all length of Hero didn't really bother me. It was such a breathtaking movie, that I was sucked into it the whole 2 1/2 to three hours. Wonderful and vivid.
  16. Hello all! This is the place where all of you [the Bandits] can lay down your beach towel and slip on some shades. Last night, while trying to figure out how to start the second chapter, I came to realize that I don't really know enough about some of you. Not enough to where I can feel comfortable with writing your part in the story. So, with this in mind, I am hoping that we can all sit and go around the room to get to know one another a little better. I want to hear what you have to think about the future chapters. After all, you all are why I started the story. And I only feel that it's fair that you have your two cents in, right? I'm going to start off by listing who's a Bikini Bandit so far, and your numbers. I'd like to inform those that asked me about which number they were: I was mistaken ^_^;; Here are your true numbers:

Annie- #1
LalithRil- #2
Neuvoxetere- #3
Kitty- #4
Corey- #5
Methuselah #6
Queen Asuka- #7
sweetreyes- #8
Kyuai- #9
Sonata- #10
Those of you who were incorrectly numbered, please edit your signatures. I'm sorry you guys! There is so many of you >.< And anyone who wants to be added to the happy family, drop me a PM.
  17. The room fell to silence. Allen slowly gaining his strength, Trini stubbornly fights her pain, Van watching carefully, Gabriella slowly coming to, Geneefee observing her surroundings, and then there's Vivian. She stood apart from the group, vigorously massaging her face to rid her fatigue. "Vivian, deary, perhaps you should be the one to get some rest?" Van chuckled. "You are right, but I just wanted to make sure-" Vivian started. "They will be just fine, Viv. Go get rest," Geneefee placed a hand on Vivian's tensed shoulder. She looks around the room to make sure everyone was in decent shape. With a slow nod, Vivian began to walk towards the airlocked doors. The group began to talk about what happened and what they were thinking about what may have caused the ship to crash. You know you won't be able to sleep..so why even lie to them? Please, let me sleep just this once... But, you will be alone again..you don't want that, do you? Just this once...please.. Her finger's fumbled to access the door's security code. Her vision began to blur and unfocus; it seemed as if the room grew larger and shrunk everything inside. She blinked rapidly to adjust her vision, but failed with a dizzy headache. "Vivian?" Trini called out. Her hand on the door, Vivian panted heavily and she sunk to her knees, gasping for breath. Her body trembled in a cold sweat. "I'll..I'll be fine. I just had one of those dizzy spells," Vivian shrugged before slumping onto the door, "Boy, I really need some rest, huh?" "Are you going to need some help to your quarters? Whoa buddy.." Allen tried to stand, but quickly sat back down, "Because, I'm sure good ol' Van wouldn't mind helping you out.." Allen patted Van's knee, who laughed at his commadre. Vivian chuckled but pleasantly turned down the offer. "I'll be okay, really guys. You take it easy. Geneefee will help you with anything," Vivian slowly climbed to her feet, "If you need me, my quarters is just three doors down to the left of this room." Vivian accessed the security code, the door buzzed. The airlock hissed softly as Vivian pulled on the handle. The door shut quickly behind her with a thud and hiss. The hallway was quiet and dim. A slight hum from the colony's electricity was the only sound that filled the hall. Three doors down on the left a tag identified her room: Vivian D'Andros, Cpt. Again with an access code, Vivian's door gently opened. Her room was simple, quaint. Metallic decor. Greys and whites. The only colorful object was a stuffed animal. It was a tattered, worn out, pink cat. The stuffed animal was all that Vivian had left from her home on Earth. It was her first gift from her biological father. She was six years old when he gave it to her, and it has never left her side. Yawning and stretching, Vivian flopped onto her mattress and curled into the fetal position. Her pink cat is hugged tightly to her breast. It had been months since Vivian had actually slept...ever since it had awoken. It had been the cause of her insomnia. It had never left her alone. Slowly, Vivian's eyelids drooped and weighed down. She nodded off once, and fell asleep. Sleep, who had become a stranger to Vivian, was finally craddling her. Yes, sleep Vivian...Sleep is where you can escape the people around you...but sleep is where you cannot hide completely..

Oh my, I just finished watching QT's latest, Hero. I just bought it on DVD today, and this is the first time I've seen the movie. I wanted to see it in theaters so badly, but was unable to make the showings. But now I own it, and I am happy. Well, I would be much happier if I could have enjoyed the colors better. My television or DVD player is messed up, because no matter how long I spent trying to adjust the color, picture, brightness, tint, et cetra, the movie just did not look right. I was rather upset because I put movies to the color usage. It makes it easier for me to associate situations in the movie with the colors used in that particular scene. In this movie, colors are very important. Most of Tarantino's movies revolve around color. Color signifies moods, feelings, emotions, situations. So, for me to watch this movie (which is filled with vivid color and amazing contrasts) without the proper color adjustments, was highly disappointing. But, that is going to be fixed. Aside from my retarded TV, the movie was beautiful. There are parts that I missed, so I must watch it again. I just wanted to hear from everyone on their views of the movie.
  19. How often..Are you kidding. I practically never leave the OB. This is my second home. I come here to write with the best, talk to friends, help friends, and just escape from the norms of my everyday life. I've been a member since August of '03, and I think I have only officially logged off once, lol. I don't remember where I said this, but I'll say it again; The OB is my home. And being that, the Adventure Square is my bedroom. All of my friendships on the OB are important to me. Everyone of them have helped me to develop better writing skills. They've helped me in IRL situations in which not one of my IRL friends could comprehend. Why is this? I'm not sure really. The only thing I could come up with is that since we are all writers, we are able to see things through words better than people can who are sitting infront of you. And depending on the situation, words mean more than a voice...to me anyway. I also learn from my OB friends. I couldn't begin to tell you what they have taught me.
  20. I have no problem whatsoever with homosexuality. In fact, I would say that fifty percent of my friends are homosexual or bisexual. I myself prefer to hang out and be friends with them more than I would most heterosexuals. Most of my friends who are homo/bisexual are really funny, outgoing, and intelligent. So it's always interesting to spend time with them.
  21. "Van, be careful," Vivian rose from her curled position and quickly moved to help the doctor lift the box. "I assure you, Miss Vivian, I am just fine," Van smiled in appreciation, "However, I will not deny a helping hand. My arm is still a shy devil." Van chuckled half-heartedly as the box leaned to his left. Vivian nodded and lifted the left side of the box. The two slowly made their way next to Gabriella's bedside. Van began to sift through the contents of gauze bandages and splints. Vivian assissted with finding the alchohol pads and antibacterial ointments. She began to clean Gabriella's wounds as Van patched the open wounds. "Vivian, dear, could you pass me the-ah!" Van dropped the bandages and clutched at his left forearm. Vivian reached out to examine his arm, finding not one scratch. Van massaged his arm, shaking his head. "Perhaps it was just a muscle spasm, or a pinched nerve. I am an old man, right?" Van joked, "Please, continue to tend to her wounds. Now, as I was asking; could you hand me the snips?" Vivian handed Van the chrome scissors, keeping a concerned eye on his left arm and hand. There's something strange about this doctor...I can sense it in him Vivian.. "Are you alright, dear?" Van's smiling face broke Vivian's contemplation. "O-oh, yes. I am fine," Vivian began to clean up the trash of discarded bandages and alchohol pads. "You are still around, Miss D'Andros?" Geneefee spoke quietly. Vivian nearly nodded slightly in her direction. "It is good to see that you are. Where is your crew?" Geneefee slid to Vivian's side. "They are gone.." "Where did they go?" Geneefee smiled. "They..they just disappeared," Vivian spun around to face the specialist. The two women stared at one another for what seemed to be hours. Trini gave an uneasy glance at Allen. "Just, disappeared?" Allen cautiously rose to his feet. "Yes. Without a trace. Everyone disappeared without a single clue," Vivian rubbed her temples. "Except for you two?" Trini scrunched her brow in confusion. "Why would that be, Vivian?" Van narrowed his eyes. "Because I wasn't here when.." "When what?" Trini sat up. "When it was found..and awoken," Geneefee perched herself on an empty table. " 'It'? You mean the Event Horizon!?'' Allen nearly fell over. Vivian rushed to catch Allen under the arm. "Yes, the Event Horizon," Vivian aided Allen to sit down. "Vivian, you said you weren't here in the colony when the events of the cursed ship stirred. Where were you?" Allen folded his arms. "I was in Colony Section II at the time of the horrific occurance. The events of that ship affected that section as well..and I fled back here to warn everyone. But, there was no one left to warn. That is when I met with Geneefee," Vivian gestured. You didn't tell them why you were over in Section II....why? Vivian again massaged at her temples. ..stupid girl, you cannot get rid of me that easily..Not until you do as you promised..
  22. "I am now asking whether you would join the council?" Mutuol stopped abruptly, nearly knocking Z to his rump. The fallen glanced at one another for a moment before either spoke, Mutuol being the voice. "You know it would be my honor, m'lady," Mutuol bowed softly, never taking his gaze from Lucifer. "Splendid, we shall inform the present council at once. And you shall seat beside me, Mutuol," Lucifer clasped her delicate, yet fierce, hands together. Z gave his 'companion' a mocking wink, only to be shot with an icey glare from Mutuol. Lucifer chuckled at the two's behavior and motioned them to enter a grand chamber. The room was decorated, and greatly elaborated, with royal blues and soft golds. Heavy tapestries draped wall-high windows, only allowing slivers of sunlight to peep through. Ivory busts of great world leaders aligned the walls; which were filled with stunning artwork. The table, made of the same marble as the busts, perched in the middle of the chamber of council. The high-backed seats were cushioned with the same blue material as the tapestries, the threading in gold. Golden goblets occupied each seat, empty or filled. "Well, God be damned.." Z whistled, "You immortal fallens sure know how to live.." Mutuol and Lucifer smiled and took their seat. Z soon followed, naturally sitting next to Mutuol. Whether this was out of some sort of protection or loyalty, Mutuol could not decide. Either way, he enjoyed Z's company. "So, you've sent Dumah to find the Angel's Lair," Mutuol began, folding his cloak over the arm of the chair. "Yes, I have not received a word from him just yet. Considering, I sent him out no more than three hours ago," Lucifer crossed her leg. "Yes, it would be a bit ridiculous if he had contacted you just yet," Mutuol chuckled playfully. "I guess you could say that I am ancy. It would be magnificant if we could penitrate their lair.." Lucifer trailed off. "You are doing it again, m'lady..'' "Oh, right. So many thoughts flood my mind, I lose track of where I am in those thoughts," she leant over onto the table, holding her face up with the palm of her hand. "Where are the others? Uriel and Damien cannot be the only ones out in search for you?" "No, there are others. They are mere worshipers, ghouls, and of the sorts." "And you are here unprotected?" Z twirled a dinner knife in his fingers. "Of course not, I have Titus to keep me company," Lucifer smiled appreciatively and pointed towards the corner directly behind her. A dark, robbed figure stood in silence. He carried a broadswoard, which glimmered in the shadows of his robes. The only part of Titus' body that was visible was his mouth area, and, if he looked at you, his sapphire eyes. Z nodded, keeping a cautious eye on Titus. Mutual gave a slight salute at Titus. "Good choice, dear. Titus suits you," Mutuol smirked. "Welcome back to me, Mutuol. And thank you for becoming part of the council." "My thanks to you as well. Lucifer, dear, what is my first assignment?" "To find that son of a bitch who murdered Azrael....and bring me his head." "It will be my utmost pleasure."
  23. Awesome, I didn't expect so many responses. Thank you all for your compliments, and look forward to the chapters to come. Of course, this next chapter will be a bit more picking on DW; but, I don't want to make him out to be the only one to pick on here on the Boards..so, look forward to seeing other members being taken over by the Bandits...
  24. Well, now you've done it, Vivian..I warned you..This man and his crew are dangerous..they bring.. "Shut up!" Vivian burst aloud. Her fists tightly curled in anger as she looked about the room. Her hope that no one had paid any attention was shattered. She felt the gazes of Allen and Van. "I didn't say a word.." Van blinked dumbfoundedly. "Nor did I..'' Allen shook his head. The two men stared blankly at Vivian for a moment, awaiting her explaination. Vivian figeted slightly, their gaze set her uneased. "I-I thought I heard Rawson say something..and I, I just had to-" Vivian started but was fortunately cut off. "V-Van..." Trini slowly sat up on her table. Her face lit up as she spotted Van and Allen. Vivian smiled at the three's relieved expressions. She had no heart to tell them to stop moving. Van struggled to walk over to Trini on his own, but Vivian would not step in to help. He needed to do this on his own. The two embraced, thankful to see one another alive. "I was..worried about you, Trini.." "I'm fine...I'm fine.." Trini's voice crackled as tears filled her eyes. Vivian sat quietly on an empty table. Trini's shaking voice and Van's comforting words echoed in the vast room. The mood nearly brought Vivian to tears; she looked away to avoid this. "Vivian..Where are the other colonists?" Allen propped himself on his elbows. "...gone." Allen narrowed his eyes, but Vivian did not notice. Why won't you tell him, Vivian? I think he would love to know.. "I know...I know." ''You know what?" Allen questioned sternly. "U-uh, I know what you must be thinking." "You do?" "Yes, you must be thinking that...the colony has been evacuated.." Allen merely stared. His eyes sharpened their focus on Vivian. He thinks you are crazy, my dear..He thinks you are hiding something from him..and you are.. She sighs heavily, clasping her knees to her chest. Leave me alone..
  25. Once apon a time, in a world of matrix encoding, there lived the internet's sexiest woman named Annie. She was a daring woman of exquisite beauty and enchanting charms. There was none like her in the world. Those who grew jealous of her were brushed past and struck by Annie's illuminating beauty. All but one. His name was repulsive to the ear. His appearance forced the mother's to shelter their children's eyes. His cologne was toxic. And his name was DragonWarrior. Never was a day that DragonWarrior lay down his persistence. Day by day, he tormented the forums with his vulgar slander and blasphemous laughter. Forum by forum, he swept ridiculous and unsexy tea parties; swooing and tainting the innocent womanesses into thinking he was sexah. For a while, that actually worked O.o. It was until the recent summer that the Otaku members had decided they had enough. It was time to call upon the one who could possibly save the Boards, the illustrious, PiroMunkie. DragonWarrior knew this was a tough cookie of a battle, and called upon his womanesses to conjure up the mother of all tea parties(since he was not sexy enough to withstand Piro's fire). But, DW's attempts failed. PiroMunkie had thrown the smack down. An animated series of foreshadows of DW's demise contained within his signature. And that's all I have to say about that... It wasn't until one day during an IM conversation, that she decided to take it upon herself to rid the OB of this...creature. *twinkling music que* ZeroFeather: :3 GoddessUnluck: O.o? ZeroFeather: *humps your leg* GoddessUnluck: Ack! Get off! *beats you with a bat* ZeroFeather: *humps faster* GoddessUnluck: Bwaaahh!! *twinkling music fade in* Yes, it was then Annie decided to take out the "Dragon" in DragonWarrior...because, he is no dragon. In fact, he is this: =D (shorty!) But Annie was aware that "he" would not be taken down easily. No, it would be a grueling, sexy fight. A fight that could only be won by sheer and awesome sexiness of the womaness..and a couple of man..ness. Annie had to think on this. Months had passed before Annie was able to come up with a plan. A plan that was inspired by explicitly clad and provocative swimwear. The bikini. Yes, this little garment would be the downfall of DW. Knock-out women in very skimpy swimsuits; DragonWarrior would be powerless. The excessiveness of the sexiness would overwhelm this pitiful, womaness-craving DW who fails to attract the opposite sex because of his plague-like cologne that makes dogs and cats run for the sewer rats nests in Romania..*takes a breath* (yes, major run-on sentence..it was intended). Anyway, back to the story..Annie pondered, and pondered, and pondered. What shall be the name of this irresistable signature click? Hours passed like..hours, and Annie (who is horrible with thinking of titles/names) was inspired by a music video. A video that depicted what Annie could not explain. Several women, dressed in various bikinis, terrorizing their neighborhood with their awesome bodies and naughty gestures. It was perfect. Annie: "Hm, it would be nice if I had my own gang of bikini bandits to take down DW....Wait! OMFG!!11!1! That's it!" With this revelation in mind, Annie called for recruits. Recruits for- The Bikini Bandits of the OtakuBoards. Okay, this is all I have so far. I basically wanted to get the "birth" of the Bikini Bandits up first. And hopefully, it will all fall together in the next chapter or two. I hope that I can be more creative with this to please you all. In the next chapter, I plan to start using more imagination, rather than facts. I also want to get this across to everyone: This story is fictional, not based on actual events on the OtakuBoards (except for some of this first chapter). So, please, do not critisize that "oh, that would never happen" or "that's totally out in the left field"..it's just a made-up story based on an imagination. With the chapters to come, I'm going to be intertwining my actual league Bikini Bandits. I felt that I kind of left them in the dirt by removing the list from my signature. So here is something to let them know that they have/and will serve a purpose, rather than just being a sig mention. Plus, members from the OB will be in there too. Who, when, and where? Don't know yet, just whenever I think that "hey, this member is perfect for this line/part".
