A woman, lifeless and soaked to the bone, lay on the filthy concrete. Her child, infant at most, screamed in his mother's cold arms. "Ah man, that's just not right. Even for me, that is so wrong.." Z knelt beside the woman and child. Mutuol stood behind Z, eyeing the dead mortal and her infant son. A twisted look of disgust swept over the angel's face. Pity soon followed. But not for the mother, but for the child. "Z, take the child in your arms." Z gave Mutuol a quick glance and gently craddled the baby in his muscular arms. Mutuol smiled at the tender sight of seeing a character such as Z with a child, then continued to walk. "Mutuol, what about-" "She deserves no better..now, let's go. We are close," Mutuol motioned with a nod of his head, signaling Z to follow. Holding the silenced infant, Z took one last look at the mother, then humbly follows. |-An hour later-| The two, with the company of a baby, stood outside an ancient, iron gate. Vines and moss cloth the iron, blanketing the sight of curious passer-by's. There was no sound; no birds chirping, no frogs croaking, no crickets playing their tunes. The wind, if there was any, was not felt; nor did the tree tops sway. "Man, this is freaking me out...I kind of like it," Z quirked, rocking the infant he held close. "I must say, Z, that's becoming of you," Mutuol laughed aloud and waltzed past his companion. "I hate you.." Z mumbled, followed by the infant's scream, "Not you! Shut it, kid....please?" Mutuol ignored Z and touched the vines delicately. The lucious plants shrivled and ashed under his touch, revealing a glimpse of a mansion. He examined the courtyard behind the gates and pushed the heavy iron inward. "Is this the place?" Z looked over Mutuol's shoulder. "This will be the place. Come, she'll be waiting.." Mutuol lead the way down a cobble stoned path. The pine trees towered above the two, casting their belittling shadows upon them. Z held the infant closer, as if on instinct. A thick fog spilled from depths of the pine trees, rolling over their feet. "Mutuol..." "It's fine, Z. She's greeting us." "You keep saying 'she'. I never knew the Prince of Darkness was actually a Princess of Darkness," Z scratched his head. "Humanity is ruled by the male gender. So, it was only natural for the 'devil' to assume a male reputation. It is the same with God." "God's a woman too?!" "No, God is actually a man," Mutuol roared in laughter. "You...are an asshole." This only made Mutuol laugh harder. Laughter, it was something he became more familiar with in the past two years. Never had he once laughed or smiled in Heaven. It wasn't until Mutuol was cast into humanity that he learned the value of a smile, and a laugh. It was Z who had taught him that value. |-Moments later at the front door-| "Whoa..this is rich," Z awed as he ran a hand over the dark, mahogany doors. He jumped back as the doors moaned and opened. A small woman in a black and white maid's outfit stood in the opening. "Ah, Lord Mutuol. Lucifer has expected you," the maid bowed shortly and turned to lead the two guests into the mansion. "Lord?" Z mocked. "Of course," Mutuol winked and stepped inside. "Mutuol, how wonderful to see you!" Mutuol turned to see Lucifier smiling and extending her arms. He took her hands and kissed her cheek softly. "Likewise, dear Lucifer. This is Z, my mortal companion," Mutuol gestured towards Z. "Quit calling me 'companion'. It sounds..wrong." "Haha, welcome to my home, Z. Please, make yourself at home," Lucifer grabbed his arm and walked down the hall. "Lucifer, Azrael-" "I know, Mutuol. I was informed this morning, sadly...Azrael.." her voice grew silent for a moment, "So, what of this infant?" "Oh, I guess I pitied the thing. I was hoping your ladies would give him some food and warm clothes?" "But of course, " Lucifer snatched the child from Z's protecting arms, "Oh, what a beautiful human. I have just the lady for him." "Lucifer, what are your plans of action? Have we heard any news on the 'key'?"

"H..p!! This is..Chubb..of the United...Force...we're going do....I repeat...going down!!" "Hello?! Who is this? Hello?!" |-silence-| "Fuck!" What will you do? Will you help them? "I-I don't know. What will happen to them? Do you think their in that much danger?" It appears that they are. He sounded desperate.. "I have to help." How will you help them..? "I don't know, but I can't just let them-" But of course you can..didn't you just leave your last crew...? "Shut up! You don't know what I went through for them! And I'm going to help this crew..whether you like it or not," with that note, she darts from the shadow and into the tunnel. Her eyes follow the skylights in the ceiling, searching. And there it was, a massive ship plummeting straight for the tunnel. ''Oh my God.." she stopped to watch in awe, "...un..believable.." Seconds past in a blink of her eye as the crippled ship plowed into the colony. Her heart raced violently as her feet dug into the stone floor. Beware of the leader...Space has given him grave misfortune... |-Minutes later-| The sound of groans and flames filled the tunnel. The temperature grew fiercely hot as she rounded the corridor. The intense blast forced her back impulsively. "No one could have survived..." Carefully, she edged her way closer; scanning the area for any signs of life. Molted metal spewed from what she estimated to be the engine's section; creaks and crackling, popping and sputtering from steel being forced to submit to the flame; the ship was being burned alive. Unknowingly, she ventured further. Her eyes caught a body of a man, and he was moving. "..help..my ship...we're going dow.." his hand, badly burned, reached out to her. "Don't worry..I'll take care of you," she gazed about to find four more bodies, "And your crew." |-Hours later in the Colony 1's Laboratory Sector-| "Wha.." the man reached for his head, failing miserably to lift himself. "Careful, you've been out for a few hours," she gently help the man lay back down. "Th-thank you.." "You're safe, get some rest. Your crew," she stands, "are safe as well, but are badly injured..as are you." The woman stood from her position next to him and walked around the room to examine the crew. His eyes followed her; confusion, anger, and hope filled those watery eyes. She checked vital signs and smiled on three. The fourth, a pretty male, was not giving her the satisfaction she needed. "All of your crew, except for this one, is doing well. They should be waking pretty soon...except him." "I-is he dead?'' "No, but I'm sure he will beg for it for the next few days. Hm..what is his name.." she digs through the man's garments to find a wallet. Carefully and tenderly, she sifts through the contents to find a shred of evidence; his identification card. "Rawson..." the man on the table breathed. "Yes. Your friend 'Rawson' here will take longer to recover. His wounds are critical and he may have internal wounds. So, I cannot move him for a long time. It was risky to move him from the wreck...In fact, it took me hours to move him. When you woke up, I had just lain him on the table." "Who a-are...?" "My name is Vivian D'Andros. And you are?" "Allen..Chubb.." "Rest, Allen...I'll watch over you and your crew." ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Okay, I don't know if that's what you were looking for Core..but it's something. PM me to let me know if I have to change/add something..

OOC: Angel= Heavenly being created by God. Angle=Inverted or slanted line [ex. / ] IC: "Z, did you feel that?" "Feel what? That draft? Sorry, I had the chili for lunch. You know what ha-" "Sometimes I forget you are human," a dark figure growled. The shadows of the allies swarmed about, lusting for the ominous aura flowing about the renegade angel. The shadow's fingertips lap and reach for his body. The human followed close; not so much out of fright, but out of loyalty. "So, Mutuol, what did you feel?" Z asked, scratching the scruff of his chin. "Her. I felt..her," Mutuol stopped in the middle of the street. The Fallen Angel took a solemn glance at the darkened sky. The clouds swirled and errupted into puffs of grey and black. Z stopped to follow Mutuol's gaze. "Yo, Mutuol. Are you okay? You look...sad." "I am, Z. I am.." Mutuol's voice drifted into the melody of soft thunder and gentle rain. The angel closed his eyes, his ebony wings flex and stretch out. Z watched in awe. This was the first time he had ever seen Mutol's wings. Normally, he kept an illusion shield to mask his wings from human sight. "Z, my dear friend," the angel slowly opened his eyes, "A great angel has been slain today. Her death is what we are experiencing now. Her soul is non-existant. That 'draft' I felt earlier was her soul bursting from this world. The Great Arc Angel, Azrael, is no more.." Z remained silent, staring remorsefully at his Fallen Angel. Mutuol gave one flap of his wings before masking them again. He smiled at Z before continuing his path. "But..how can an angel just die?" "Easy." "Thank you, Mr. Extravagant. Detail, please?" Z trotted up beside Mutuol, who smirked at Z's irritation. "To slay an angel as affective as this," waves towards the sky, "One has to have emmense powers. No mortal can possess this power." "Was it..?" "An Angel of God? Yes," Mutuol paused to pluck a vivid red rose from a store's window display and twirls it in his delicate fingers. "What are we going to do?" Mutuol kissed the rose lightly, the red slowly churned and blackened. "We'll go see the Fallen Star. I'm sure she's absolutely livid," Mutuol chuckled as he tossed the charred rose at Z. "Ack! Don't do that!'' Z leaped from the rose's venomous path. The two walked side- by-side deeper into the ghetto streets. The rain pelted all that lay under its furry. The blood of a Fallen.

Alright, here's my second shot at the banner. It does have color in it, but not too much. It has a sort of ominous feel to it.. Masks of Floyd Hopefully it's not too colorful for you.
I know I sound mean, but really, if you're too afraid to stand up for yourself -- or at least get outside help -- you really are a coward. Too afraid to stand up on your own behalf? Seriously now, if you can't stand up for yourself, you won't be able to help anyone else, defend anyone else.
I think she was courageous in ignoring the girl. Giving into their[bullies] attention only lowers you onto their level. And that is being cowardly. Stooping as low as to "name-calling" or throwing rocks for f**k's sake, is immature and mirrors the bully. Vicky, I know it hurts to be treated like that, but girls like her are more of a coward than you may think you are (which you are not). People like that are all talk and no balls. I think you did the right thing by ignoring her. She'll go on with her life without the dignity to walk across the way to smack her gums in your face. Instead, she was the f***ing coward who threw rocks at you from a distance. Doesn't that say something to you, sweety? It was brave and bold of you to take her crap, no matter how embarassing and painful it was. You took it like a mature adult, not some sniveling teen. Do not badger yourself for this, Vicky. It is not worth it at all. That girl was the coward here, not you.

Judith Makanary, San Fransisco, California "I am Judith, no other. My life has been full of health, love, pain, and disappointment. Countless times has my heart been shattered with letdowns, and my will to carry on has been interrupted with thoughts of suicide. No matter how much help I saught, I knew my life would always be as it may. But, that was years ago, and I'm free from my morbid depressions..and myself. I now have a will to go on; I now feel the warmth of love and care; my heart is starting to mend. I am-Judith..." A Tale of a Smile My heart beat fiercely as my feet carried me further. The night was frigid and rutheless to my bare, pounding feet. My heartbeat burst in my eardrums, drowning the faint yells and plees. I knew he was running after me; begging me to stay, begging my forgiveness. The children's playground, glittered under the warm yellow glow of a single streetlight. Ice blanketed all that stood still and cold. Swingsets cracked and creaked as I dodged between; my breath seemed to freeze in thin air. "Judith! Please, forgive me! Judith, you are overreacting!" His calls filters into the crisp breeze. Try as I might, I could not ignore. Maybe I was overreacting. I have that tendency, and I do react abruptly to petty things. I could not help that, and he chose not to help. That is why I am running. Running away from the pain he chose to give me; instead of love. My mind was clouded with memories that I wished would always remain and sorrows that followed my flee. The pain began to settle in that space we call a heart. I had finally found happiness with another, and it only crumbled beneath his venemous words he had professed moments before. I loved him. Loved him so much that I had to bear him my back as I fled from his crying. "Judith!! STOP!!" His voice echoed off of silent buildings; but just barely for me to hear past a sickening sound of sreeching tires gliding helplessly over the icey concrete. His plee bellowed into my head. "Nooooo!!" My head throbbed, my eyes swelled shut, my body ached to the bone. The taste of blood flooded my mouth and throat. My chest heaved, desperate to catch the breath that was knocked from me. It was here that I felt him. His arms held me close, his body rocked gently, his voice somber and soft. "Oh God, Judith...please say something.." "I-it hurts...Marcus, it hurts.." "Sssh," Marcus cooed, "it will be better soon. An ambulance is on the way...Oh God, stay with me...Judith, stay. I'll never hurt you again, I stake my life on it. We could move to the country together, and have children like you want. I'll do anything for you..I love you so much, Judith.." "..I g-guess you leave me..no c-choice.." His arms craddled me tighter, as if I were to just flutter in the wind like the gentle snow. This, this was the moment I gained my will to live. His sobbing mended my shattered heart. My shaking hands found his wet cheeks. He was smiling. Whew, I hope that does something. I got mushy, but it was the first idea that came to mind. Meh..
I've been thinking of customs and the like, and have realized something. Observing certain interpersonal customs creates an imbalance. For example, if someone offers their hand for you to shake, you have two choices. 1. Shake the hand. 2. Don't shake the hand. If you shake the hand, what have you accomplished? You've observed a custom. There is no meaning behind it whatsoever, no purpose. It does nothing to improve either party's physical/social/emotional well-being. You may even end up transferring an illness. It is unnecessary. Now, let's look at the action of not-shaking the hand. You've just completely and utterly disrespected the person, and have demonstrated animosity towards him/her and made clear that you don't care how he/she feels about you. You've just made an enemy.
That's not always true. Extending your hand for a friendly gesture does make an impression upon someone. Especially, if you were the one to first extend the hand. That shows the person who takes your hand that you have manners and are interested in making conversation or a friendship. Also, it shows professionalism, respect, and discipline. I'm not saying this is/isn't true. I'm simply stating that you're assumption of the "custom" of handshaking is not always true. You could meet that hateful/cranky person who just shakes your hand so you could leave them alone. You could meet that obsessive/compulsive person; whom if you touched them, they would immediately have to wash their hands with three different bars of soap. Or you could meet the arrogant person who wouldn't look your way, much less touch your hand. So, assuming that the handshake is unnecessary, I will say that was a rather questionable statement. It is never unnecessary to extend your had to a person, even if they are your friend.
If you introduce both your friends, than they can get to know eachother at a fresh start and see eachother less as strangers. Kinda get it? I see that as a custom. We dont have to introduce people. But most the time we do it because its what we're use to (and yes there are people who dont introduce others ^^ its considered rude see what i mean) if I'm wrong about this, let me know.
No, I don't think you're wrong. [the word "you" is not referring directly to you, Pumpkin. It's relating to anyone]In fact, when you and your friends are gathered and hanging out, I find it very rude and disrespectful if you don't introduce the people who don't know eachother. It completely leaves the friend in a state of uneasiness with other people, and to me, it shows that you are a spotlight attitude. You don't care what your friend is feeling, you only care that you are getting the spotlight of attention. And that is sick and rude. I hate it when my friend doesn't introduce me to another one of her friends. It makes me feel like an idiot for just standing there [waiting for my friend to introduce], and it makes me feel unwanted in the room or wherever we may be. I do not like being ignored just to help the other gain in their greed for attention, and I don't like being left in the dark. So, that custom is one that I will extend my hand to.

idiotic things that people say about relationships
Annie replied to foreverinfinity's topic in General Discussion
You can start with the thread on getting chicks. Most of the idiotic things that have been said in relationships were said there. Laura L. told me that I was really to young to have a long term relationship with Ranger. She also once asked Ranger didn't he think I was a little too young for him. I heard that and I told her that we had been going together since I was 14. You should have seen the look on her face. That wasn't too smart on my part as Laura started this whole thing about me and in a small town that can be a problem...
That was idiodic on your own part. And from now on, I would be more careful as to whom I talked to about these things. Especially online. Look at where it got you, and Ranger.
Addressed to all of you, Don't you think you should treat this virtual world as a real one? I do, you are as real as my neightbors even if you only are a data stream. We interact with each other (a relationship) and get flustered and angry (e.g.Barons reply), mis-understand what other people are trying to say, even more so than out here and attempt to create a nice neighborhood where we don't have to worry about the bikers metaphorical reference. In that case I would think that the commonly accepted rules of behaivor would be the same here. Or is behavior in here different from behavior out there. Is the virtual world allowed to have a different set of rules about how we conduct ourselves than the real one.
In any case, you are not personal with everyone on the internet. People are completely different online than they are offline. A person in real life may be very shy, but when they are online, they don't have to see the person they are "talking" to; giving confidence to speak up and have the "hey, it's only the internet" mentality. Which could lead to misunderstandings of "manners" and attitudes towards certain areas. Our behavior is different here on the net than in IRL. We do have a different set of rules. Reason being, you don't know people online. Certain people take certain topics too personally and/or offensively; other people don't. "Commonly accepted rules of behavior''? Not everyone has the same "rules" as you might consider acceptable. And that's why there is so much conflict online. Like this whole thread. I don't think Siren's posts were unnecessary. Harsh, no. Bluntly honest. Sometimes people just need an extra grain of salt to tip the scale of reality. -
Oh my, Kane. I will say that this is amazing. It keeps a serious and believable theme, while throwing in moderate humor (got to love DW). I never had the chance to see The Incredibles, but your spin from it is brilliant. And I can honestly tell you that I was extremely shocked to see my name as one of your characters ^_^*(blushy face) Thank you very much, you didn't have to do that. It's an honor to be a part of your story, and I will look forward to reading future chapters. Great opening; pleasant and peaceful, then the morning mist is disturbed with a chase..and DW's self-induced capture. Poor sexy DW, and his sickening cologne.

Well, I think I may have only posted in here maybe twice. So, just to give myself something to do, I have decided to post here today. I want to know how you all feel about this manga [Angel Sanctuary]. As some of you might know, I'm practically obsessed with this manga. What is it about Angel Sanctuary that fascinates me so? Firstly, I love the art. Kaori Yuki's style is so detailed, yet not overly dramatic. The emotion she catches in the character's eyes is majestic and realistic. As in any manga, Yuki does add her little "playful" emotions of the characters. But unlike any manga I've read so far, her sense of "playfulness" is not overbearing on the story, making the story seem childish and immature. Just beautiful, and a style that I am struggling to adopt. Secondly, the storyline is wonderful and so emotional. The way Yuki captures the feelings and hightened emotions, stress and climaxes, and depression and helplessness is unbelievable. Her story about two characters embarking on forbidden love, and protecting that love no matter the consequences, is a bold step in any language. Not only does she struggle with that story, she also has thrown in another complication. One of the character's (Setsuna) is a reincarnation of a rebel angel. So, there is a whole world for Setsuna to deal with, other than his un-natural love affair. For this, I really have to hand it to Yuki. Carrying out two storylines in one manga is amazing. I'm only on the fourth volume for English (considering vol.4 was just released in the US). And I just wanted to hear anyone who's read this manga, what your thoughts on it are, and why you like it so much.

Alright then. That settles my arguement.

No, the Adventure Square/Inn did not have stickies about the RPG/thread ratings. That is why I asked about it. I'm still in wonder, if the ratings on RPGs/threads was as stressed as it has been over the past four months (the length of my absence), then why wasn't there a sticky containing the rules of ratings in the guidlines/rules stickies to making RPGs in the Square/Inn in the very begining of the movement? No matter, it is being worked on, and that's all that matters to me. I'm just expressing my honest opinion. The announcement box- This is a guilt of my own, as well. I frequently forget to check in on the announcements. I do check in every once in a while, but obviously not as much as I should be. Perhaps Lady Asphy's idea would be a nice move. A change in color once a new announcement is posted may catch eyes. It would to me, I'm attracted to all sorts of colors and I constantly scan the areas around me for something new.
-
I suppose they should have, yes. And I'm sure they [members] are very aware of it now. I just wanted to know if/could there be a sticky about the foreclosure of threads/RPGs for not having included a rating. You answered that for me, and I am settled (for now :p ).

Due to likeness of characters, I will be creating a new angel. Have you know that I will be back to edit this post whenever I complete my new character. EDIT: My character. Not nearly as good as my Azrael, but he will do.. Name- Mutuol Race- Angel invoked in the consecration of Pen & Ink (Fallen Angel) Age- Undetermined, appears to be in his mid-teens Gender- Takes the form of a male Appearance- The Unborn Preferred Weapon- A simple, black quill. A quill that is in no need of a constant feed of ink.

Abilities
Encaustum Repetoire- Mutuol's heart resevoirs a neverending well of black blood. Dark as ink, flowing through his veins, his soul, his ancient power. With his quill, Mutuol can soak parchment with desires, requests of death or health, plans, anything; whatever he writes, shall be committed into memory or into physical format. "So it has been written, so it will be done.." Unique as it may, parchment does not have to be what Mutuol writes upon. In fact, whatever material he chooses becomes what is written upon the surface. If written on flesh of a human, the skin become saturated with blackness and is controlled by Mutuol's ambitions for his "art".
Blackness Ensues- Quills of feather are not the only objects that Mutuol is capable of using. He also uses his own body; drawing blood from any desired body part. With the exposed, ebony blood, Mutuol can manipulate the ink-like substance with his will; forming his blood into whatever mass or form he sees fit. This could be used as a protective barrier, an ensnarement upon an opponent, or it can even be used to infest a body for internal decedance.
Background- It is said that angels have been "born" into humans and stay in the Earth realm to protect and guide men. Jesus was the first "born" angel, of the Virgin Mary. Many others followed, but were silent and watchful; fooling humanity into believing of the "rebirth" of the Messiah. Words in the Heavens spoke of another, an "unborn" son. The Messiah that was supposedly to return to the people. This Messiah is Mutuol, strong, intelligent, beautiful; God's "unborn" son. Creation of Mutuol was diligent, cautious, and perfection; in God's eyes. When presented with the responsibility of returning to humanity to reassure them of their faith, Mutuol refused. He would not be burdened with humanity's disgusting incompetnace. "Faith is not seeing, it is believing; whether or not you have seen..." Words written and spoken by Mutuol. Furious at his son's defiance, God cast his prized creation into the forgotten of the Heavens; the choir of guardian angels. Here, Mutuol was able to peer upon this humanity God spoke highly of. His disgust for God's passion in humanity fueled a simmering anger. Anger that could only flow from his quill, and his ever growing dark soul. How could God even anticipate Mutuol's descendance in saving these filthy creatures? Creatures who need to see the Messiah in order to restore their "faith". Why was Mutuol created to craddle such hypocrisy? The rise and fall of the war of Heaven and Hell answered Mutuol's question of where he belonged. During battle, Mutuol faced the most beautiful of all angels; Lucifer, the first angel. It was with this first acquaintence Mutuol truely felt home. Lucifer's wisedom, beauty, and honesty piqued Mutuol's longing for true meaning. The fall of both Heaven and Hell shattered the balance of good and evil, scattering angels and demons alike into the winds of the Earth realm. Centuries past, the remains of angels and demons roam the Earth; seeking the one thing that could restore and allow entrance into Heaven-the key. Mutuol roams the Earth present day, seeking the Prince of Darkness to pledge his allegiance in the final destruction of the crippled God and weak Heaven. Along his journey, Mutuol has aqcuirred "followers"; ironically, humans that support their dark beliefs.

That's good to know. It would give a fair opportunity to new members in the Adventure Square/Inn, Anthology, and Underground. Now, when the new stickies are in effect, and members still don't include the rating, then I could understand your intentions of closing their thread/RPG. Forgive me, but I was really upset yesterday with this topic, and I felt that I had to say something about it. Thanks for clearing things up, and listening. -Annie

Due to a recent event that was deemed necessary for RPGs, I am inclined to ask/suggest upon this matter. James, I understand that RPGs must be rated (as of yesterday, Dec. 1), and you made that specifically clear in your announcement link. Agreed. However, I know, from experience, that new members and older members are not always aware of your announcement link. New members may not know it exsists, and older members forget to check up. So, I was wondering if you could post the rating update in the rules/guidlines sections of all the Arena's forums (especially the Adventure Square and Inn). Perhaps this would draw more attention to the necessary rating requirement and settle confusion.
I also love that one from Home Alone that the choir's always singing... it's just very emotional.
I love that one! And I have been going crazy trying to find it. What's the name of it? Christmas is a wonderful time of year, the carols are nice to have. But once you hear songs like Barbara Streisand's (however you spell her name) "J-j-jingle bells, j-j-j-jangle bells"...you lose all interest in Christmas music -_- ...I hate that song.

Wonderful, my dear. Absolutely wonderful. You know my thoughts about this RPG idea, and you know that you have me as either a sign-up for a Chapel member..or a Sin. Now this depends on your decision to adopt PiroMunkie's suggestion. I, personally, agree with him one-hundred percent. If you do decide to carry out this idea, and take up Piro's advice, you know what my decision is on my character for this RPG. Now, as for a title. Seven is a movie, so that's out. I like DW's idea, to be honest. You know I'm horrible at suggesting titles ^_^;

Yesh, this has been one of the most entertaining from you. I cannot wait to see your next OB Anual Christmas animation. Yay! I was a puppy ^_^. Thanks Gav, hehe..-pees on your shoe- -
Well, guess what happened today, Gav? I went to work and for about half of the day, there was no Christmas music! Huzzah for mah! Anyways, I guess I'll stop being a Scrooge and reveal my favorite Christmas song/carrol. It's "Oh Holy Night".

I love Christmas, but to be honest with you, I'm really sick of Christmas music. Y'see, I work at a coffee shop in the local mall and since the week before Thanksgiving, I've been listening to non-stop Christmas music. I wouldn't mind so much if they played normal music, with a Christmas song every once in a while, but no.

First off on my list, National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation. This defines the holiday for me because it's just a family tradition to gather 'round and watch this movie. Chevy Chase is hilarious, but what really made the movie (in my opinion) was Randy Quaid. This man is beyond funny and the movie would not have had the same feel if the part of Eddie were taken by someone else. The turkey scene was great, but the squirrel has to be the best ^_^ Jingle All the Way is my second favorite because it's so funny to see everything go wrong for A'nold. It was his first performance (that I am aware of) that he wasn't the "GI Joe" or the "super spy" character..even though True Lies was the best..eh hem. The character he played in Jingle All the Way suited him perfectly and I think he did well. The movie showed the reality of the "last minute'' Christmas shoppers. (If anyone is working in retail, or has, you can plainly see the honesty..people are freakin insane!) The Santa Clause, starring Tim Allen. I don't know what it is about this movie, but I really enjoy watching it. I guess it's because the movie carries out the spirit of Christmas and gives it some sort of magical feeling. How the James Stole Christmas by DragonWarrior. Crazy, crazy, sexy..^_^ James' performance was brilliant and DW's ingenious is mindblowing. I hope he does another Christmas movie.

Holy sh*t! That was hilarious, by far the best of you Gav (next to How the James Stole Christmas). Poor Syk3, why do you always badger him..? Even though it's the best ^_^ (don't hurt me Greg, ya know I love you..>.>) I can't even begin to review this, I don't know where to start or how to start. All I can say is that I absolutely love it and I'm so looking forward to the conclusion. -
I am not a fan of Velvet Revolver myself, but I enjoy seeing and hearing a bit of old Guns 'N' Roses. I'm a fan of them, and of course, Stone Temple Pilots, and it's awesome that they have "joined forces" to create a blast of decent music. It's different from what's being played on the radio now, but the music still sounds like GNR to me. Great criss-cross band I will say at their expense.
