I will probably be the one person who will admit that they were a bit frightened by the movie. I think what stirs/scares me about these sorts of movies is that you cannot control what is spiritual/demonic; something you cannot see and physically withstand. A serial killer/slasher/gore movie doesn't interest me at all because you can stop physical issues. And what's so scary about that?? Whereas in movies like The Exorcism of Emily Rose revolve around the fact that you can't really control demonic spirits; and you can't normally get away from them. I liked The Exorcism of Emily Rose for this reason. I like scary movies to really creep me out and frighten me. That's how you can tell a really good horror movie from the just-plain-stupid and gross slasher films. The thing that freaked me out the most in the movie was
when Emily's boyfriend woke up and saw her all contorted and twisted on the floor looking up at him.
That was twisted, and gave me the heebie jeebies. I'll tell you I couldn't sleep for a long time, lol.

OOC: Just for s 'n' gs, this is what Triston looks like in game. Here and Here, on the left ****** “Good morning, Mr. Masters,” the petite girl at the front desk smiled, “Will you be joining the battles today?” Triston smirked quaintly, admiring the girl’s new hair style. Bleached to the point of being frosty white, with lavender dye on the tips. Last week, it was jet black with neon green streaks framing her face. What a cute, friendly face she had. And the best part, she had the softest personality to match her attractive appearance. “Today? What’s going on today? I haven’t been in game for at least a week,” Triston scratched at the stubble on his cheek, “Work’s been killing me.” “Oh,” she giggled, “Well, I haven’t been in Crossover myself in a while, but I’ve been hearing that there’s some big war going to happen.” The girl made a silly face that indicated she really didn’t care, or really didn’t know. Triston ran his fingers through his messy hair and leaned on the counter top. He scanned the flat screen on the wall behind the girl; he was looking at what rooms were being used and what ‘war‘ she was talking about. The girl fluffed her hair lazily as she thumbed through papers in front of her, occasionally giving Triston a quick glance. “Hm, Tameth and Faltia....Why am I not surprised?" he muttered. “Yeah, those places! Whose side are you going to be on, Mr. Masters?” her hair swished as she leaned flirtatiously on the counter. “You may call me by my name,” he smiled, “as long as you tell me yours, that is.” “Well, I do have a name tag,” she looked down at her left breast where the bright tag was. “Never noticed it,” his voice drained as he read her name, "Madeline." “Oh yeah, that would be a problem,”she groaned, irritated. Triston huffed playfully and pushed himself back from the counter. The girl straightened out her white lace halter top and gave Triston a disappointed smile. He shook his head and pointed at the screen. “I’m taking Room 4, Unit F,” Triston tapped the counter and walked around. “Sure thing,” the chameleon girl hung her colorful head and pecked at the keyboard. Triston’s name appeared on the flat screen on the designated VR slot. “Oh, to answer your question: I am a rogue from Salkera. So I probably won’t be participating in this war. Unless there's a nice price.” “Good luck with whatever you do, Mr. Masters,” she winked, giving him a thumbs up. Triston entered Unit F, pulling the heavy curtain softly. This particular domain was his now. The small, glass room hummed as he stepped in and closed the door softly. He pulled out the keyboard and entered his username and password. The hot pink words “Welcome back, Triston Masters.” popped up on the glass wall in front of him. He smiled and hit okay, putting on his electrode gloves and pushed the keyboard back into place. The four glass walls and ceiling frosted, encasing him in privacy and silence as Crossover loaded. Triston looked down at the floor beneath his feet and felt that stomach-flipping drop as the background and “earth” of Crossover rushed up and surrounded him. The four walls lit up with holographic scenery, the ceiling was a simulated sky with the works of birds, clouds, and the sun. His feet stood on the earth of the town he had left off in; Cyril of Salkera. It was a small, pleasant town. Nothing really went down in this town, it was more of a resting point. A nice, safe haven to replenish your health and build up your weaponry. Triston walked around the town in suit of getting some more arrows and sharpening his sword. He saluted passing players, few of which he recognized. He entered a blacksmith’s shop and dropped off his weapon. Satisfied with the days pick of arrows, he purchased a few. “Elora should like these,” he admired the arrows. They were tipped with the best tempered steel the blacksmith could provide. Lightweight and indestructible. They were given special feathers, as well. Apparently, as the tired blacksmith had told Triston, the rare, silver feathers came from Salkera’s one-and-only Pegasus. No one has ever really seen this creature, but occasionally merchants would find a few of its feathers. They’re said to have incredible accuracy and speed. “Be back in the morn’ to pick up the sword,” the blacksmith hiccupped. Triston just gave the man a sharp nod and left the shop. He trudged through town, and over the cobblestone bridge to leave its gates. The drawbridge lowered over the moat. Triston stuffed the satchel of arrows under his cloak. While Cyril was a lovely little town, there was still danger of petty thieves. Not that Triston was worried about a fight, but he didn’t underestimate the sneaky devils. Once out into the woods, the dark rogue looked around to make sure he wasn’t followed. He stood perfectly still and crouched to the ground, feeling it for any vibrations. His breath caught and he held it momentarily to listen. No one. He smiled and sat Indian-style and placed his palms together in his lap. “Oh, Elora, Mistress of Nature. I call upon thee for thy divinity and kindness.” He sat in stood up, and for nearly thirty seconds before he sensed his boundaries were being invaded. It was, however, a welcome ambush. He heard her soft and gentle trot. She wasn’t doing her best to keep her whereabouts undetected because he heard every snap of a twig and every crinkle of dry leaves. “Yes, my handsome knight?” Elora’s whimsical voice floated along the crisp breeze. “It is my pleasure to see you once more. Thank you for coming,” he breathed, feeling a tingle of happiness he hadn’t felt in quite some time…although he got this feeling each time he called upon her. “What are we up for this day?” Elora crossed her hands in front of her stomach. “I have a gift for you. I want to apologize for my neglecting you,” Triston bowed politely. “There is no need to apologize, my dear. I understand,” Elora’s tail swayed in excitement as she saw the arrows emerging from Triston’s cloak, “Oh you didn’t have to!” “Of course, I did. You deserve them.” Elora smiled, seeming to force the sun to shine a little brighter in the thick of the woods. Triston kissed her hand and motioned for the two to start walking.

Name- Triston Masters Age- 26 Gender- Male Appearance- Triston weighs in at a healthy 185 lbs for a 6’ tall man. Broad shoulders, strong arms. Warm, olive complexion set off by a piercing, emerald green gaze. Triston is a cleanly kind of man, always looking his best but he is not narcissistic. His thick, jet black hair has a mind of its own; but strangely enough, it never looks disheveled. Personality- A tad unfriendly, Triston normally keeps to himself. He’s quiet, observant, and calm; though, his patience is not that great. But he rarely blows his top. Being that “tall, dark, and handsome” type, as the ladies will put it, Triston takes his time getting to know a person and being comfortable before opening up. Crossover Exp- Very new to the game, by only about 8 months. His ex got him into the loop, and he’s never really gotten out. Especially, after the break-up. Since then, he’s spent more and more time in the game. It’s a means to escape responsibilities, and a paradise from the twisted relationship he slaved to survive. Etheria- Elora- This beauty is, obviously, a centaur. She was Triston's first Etheria, and most used of his three. And dare he say, his favorite. Elora is everything he could ask for. She's strong, fast, beautiful, powerful, and most importantly, loyal. Elora doesn't necessarily have magical properties, but her senses are hightened. Her hooves are extremely sensitive to vibration, which makes it easier to determine if she's being followed or if there will be an ambush. Hearing is unquestionably remarkable. She can hear a fly buzzing about over 1 mile away; as well as smell it. Elora carries a sword and a battle axe. She has one "magical" attribute, and that is healing. She's still learning how to control this, but so far she can heal wounds with natural herbs and hand-made potions. Artemus- This wolf is a bit larger than your average wolf. Artemus weighs close to 200lbs and his head is at level with Triston's. Artemus is a fierce and devoted fighter. He's strong, nimble, and his over-sized jaws speak for themselves. Not to mention his 20 lbs of paw. One bat from a paw will send a man soaring dozens of feet away, and in great pain. Triston normally doesn't call upon Artemus until he is needed in battle, or traveling in uncharted territory. Horus- No need to say this hawk is incredibly fast, because we all know that they are. Horus has powerful vision; up to 8 times stronger than a human's eyesight. He can spot an ant on the ground from 500 plus feet in the air. That's just fact. However, Horus does a phenomenal attribute--his scream. This is useful in battle, or scaring the whits out of anyone, as it sounds like the cries of thousands being tormented. Horus's shrill can easily cause the eardrums to explode, and even destroy most of whatever's in the path of the shockwave. Horus normally sits on Triston's shoulder, or sometimes he catches a ride from Elora. (All three of Triston's Etheria do speak.)

I hate to be a n00b, but when it comes to games, I am. So, is this based off of an actual video game? I would love to join, but I don't know if I need to know a game to partake in this RPG. Sometimes, some people create RPGs in which you MUST play the video game/watch the movie/read the book to understand. Basically, is this an RPG anyone can jump into and not be left out if they hadn't played the game?
Annie is still around as Athena, though she isn't very active anymore. She seems to go missing for months at a time. I miss playing Guild Wars with her. It was so hilarious when she got a jungle troll minipet for her character's birthday and totally cracked up as it roared away at her heels. I don't think I'll ever forget that.
Awwwwww, Deb! You made me blush. I lub j00! I miss playing GW with you, and all the rest of our troupe, very muchly. Those were some very fun times. I do visit the OB from time-to-time. I don't enjoy it as I once did because of various reasons. Mostly because life got in the way; got a full-time job at a local bank, got a boyfriend, have/had some stressful situations. Then whenever I did get the time, most of my friends were gone. Then I started mingling around, and nothing interested me. No RPGs seemed to catch my fancy, no threads here really revved me up (which, some will say is a good thing, lol). I miss writing RPGs with Corey, Gavin (lub!), 'zeke and ULX (whatever he's deemed himself now, I have no clue), and Joe. I miss Greg and Mike, and I've recently just made contact with Des after a long period in time...which has made me happy. I miss Mimmi and our crazy Literati games and "innocent" converstations, lol. JAMES! I miss talking to James intensely. It sucks being on the other side of the world and time zone, plus working and spending time with loved ones. Makes it so hard to stay in contact with the Boss. And how could I forget the INSANITY of OB chatrooms? Now that was some good ****. My god, I miss those chatrooms. Oh, APB and buttered muffins. AND! Bikini Bandits. I often thought of continuing/reduxing the second saga....but I forgot my storyline, lol..and I'm not sure if I could redo it because I don't know anyone now, and it'd be like....a history book, haha. So, I thought it'd be best to let it be. But I do miss the sexy adventures. And since all us Oldies want to know what we've been up to...that boyfriend turned into a fiance! I, Annie, am engaged. Never thought that'd happen, right? lol

If anyone who knows me, knows that I am a complete sucker (no pun intended ;) ) for chocolate-covered cherries. If I were a candy/chocolate, this is most definitely what I would love to be. A shell of sweet, crispy not-so-milk-chocolate chocolatey-ness; filled with a sweet cherry liquor that bursts in your mouth after a savoring bite. Nestled safely, and discreetly, in the smooth ocean of liquid would be the ultamite reward of a soft, juicy cherry that not only is surrounded by chocolate, but has a thin coat of hard candy. Just for an extra kick. Sort of sexy and seducing. Inticing you for "just one more". My wrapping? Nothing too special, really. A simple, royal purple foil snuggling each candy. I would then have a small, black-lacquered box with black velvet lining. There would be two rows of eight cherries that sit in dips made to cater their size. And on the cover of the box would spell out something dark like Death by Cherry or Annie in silver, gothic script.

All right, let me dust these cobwebs off of my fingers and try and get my brain working again. Forgive me if I'm rusty, but I couldn't pass this up. I had a blast a few years ago with the original.
E.T. - Extremely Terrestrial...continued "Sweet," it says, offering a slimy hand in return. After five seconds of seizuring, I yank my numb hand away. The green man's eyes fixate on the alcoholic beverages in my still hand. Following his gaze, I hug my cold drinks to my chest. "Friend...?" it pleads, fingers furiously wiggling up at me. "My precious!"

In the end, I'd worry more about working on your current rpg skills instead of getting people to join one that you created. Start working on being part of the story and having conversations with the other players. Once you get better at that, others will want to join your rpgs. That's a big thing that I look for, how well people work together when they are in an rpg.
I concur. When I first jumped into RPG's, I immediately wanted to do my own story[s]. But I soon found out that no one joined, or if people did take interest, it never went far. As soon as the RPG hit the Arena/Square, it fell flat on its back and players went totally out of control. The RPG turned chaotic, and there was no way to keep the story on track.....mainly because I didn't have a good idea on how the story should've panned out. So, after two or three failed attempts, I decided that I should just sit back and enjoy the ride of someone else's creation. In doing that, I was able to sort of "watch" how things were done. I watched how the RPG creator gave direction; sort of like a movie director, if you will. I communicated with other players and bounced ideas off of each other to coordinate. I asked countless questions, no matter how ignorant and wacked they were. I still, as "old" as I am, haven't really got on the saddle and made something of my own that I could be proud. Which is just dandy with me, I enjoy participating in other's stories and help their visions step into the light. It tickles me, especially if it surprises everyone and forges bonds that are unexplainable and unbreakable. This is always a great start for making your own RPG's. Get involved, become [more of] a team player, collaborate with other OB members, watch how an RPG works, look for your like's and dislike's. Learn. If you know a member who's pretty good at RPG's, and you have an idea, run it by them. Ask them their opinion, or advice. Maybe they'll like it and will want to expand your idea.

James, your Husky is gorgeous. I've always wanted one. Yes, the breed is very energetic; hope you are athletic! I can't even begin to count how man pets my family has gone through. Currently, they have 4 lizards (three chameleons and a bearded dragon), a canary, a rose-crested cockatoo, an ....eclectus..?? some colorful bird, a parrolette (smallest parrot), and a green-winged McCaw.....oh, not to mention an adopted hampster, and a rabbit..and a rat. Whew. Yes..a zoo, basically. I have 2 pets. Unfortunately, my beloved kitty, Stella, lives at Mike's mother's house; I can't have the cat at my house with all these damned birds. Stella, showing off for the camera. She's a nutcase..but I miss her. The sad part of leaving her at my boyfriend's house is that she really doesn't have a bond with me any more :( But, she's a fat, happy cat now....who snuggles on me from time to time. So, it's all good. At least she doesn't completely ignore me. And this, is my bearded dragon. His name is...Sandy. How very original, no?? Well, he was already named before I adopted him. So, whatever. I hope Meg still visits the OB from time to time to see that I finally have one! We wanted to start a bearded dragon farm to take over the world......>_> Viva la revolution!
That's where I got the idea originally. At first I was literally going to do a Fox Force Five RPG. But there was too little real information to go on from Pulp Fiction...so I eventually decided to take the overall concept and make my own universe from it.
Wonderful! You got around to putting this idea out on the table. I think the reality TV concept is perfect. When you had mentioned this RPG idea long ago, I was curious as to how you would carry it out. Brilliant! It's sort of like improving, but with a little guidance. I'd be excited to see it in action.

Okay, I didn't catch the entire story on the news, and if I asked my father about it, he got all wound up on this subject. So, forgive me if I didn't get all the information correctly.... Homosexuality is going to be taught in schools..to 10-year-olds?? Apparently, from what I overheard, schools (certain/specific/all, I'm not sure) are going to start teaching young students all about homosexuality. Everything from what the word means to how homosexuals have intercourse. Who's idea was that? I mean, do NOT get me wrong. I do NOT have anything against homosexuality...but is this too extreme?? I feel that homosexuality is something that cannot be taught. It's a lifestyle that isn't just developed in a semester or a year of studying. Not only that, but it's also a touchy subject that children don't fully understand at the age of 10. Even so, say a child does understand, who's to say they are going to be willing to participate in class and give their experience (if there is any at all). We all know children, and what child is going to open up to that topic? How are parents allowing this; particular homophobic families?? I can see it now, children are going to be even more cruel to each other because some families raise their children to believe homosexuality is a sin/a terrible thing. I guess, the idea of teaching children about homosexuality is to teach them that it is perfectly normal to be homosexual; and it is. Lots of families are not going to agree and therefore confuse their children. I feel that homosexuality should be learned through experience, and that it should be supported by the family...because that's what matters the most. Society is cruel and not so understanding; but you know, tell society to kiss your ***, because as long as your family loves you for whatever sexuality you choose, then nothing else matters. So, all in all, I don't think homosexuality should be "taught" in school. It's just going to cause a greater deal of drama to a child. In my opinion. What's yours?
Tool doesn't really sound angry to me...when I think of angry I think of things like Slipknot,N.W.A,and Pantera. Tool comes off as very melodic. Hell the only songs I see as "Angry" are AEnima and Bottom. Everything else seems to have a cynical or comical tone.
Matter of taste and opinions, of course. Pantera, Slipknot, Hatebreed, so on and so forth, are undoubtedly angry and way more aggressive. Lot of yelling and screaming and anger-filled lyrics, yeah, I'll agree. However, my point was that Tool, in comparison to all the other bands/projects Maynard is involved in, had a harder, 'angry' sound to the music. Whatev', that's how I feel about Tool. Like I said, they're great, but I'm not head-over-heels for them.
EDIT: I forgot to mention A Perfect Circle. I bought one of their albums a while back. The one that's red with the gold rings on it. I've never been able to pay attention the whole way through. I hate it. I've tried it out once every so often to see if my opinion changes, but it never does. I consider it the worst album in my collection.
That album is called eMotive, and is my least favorite of A Perfect Circle's. The whole album is basically a compilation of anti-war/government related songs, and miscellaneous songs which couldn't really fit into The Thirteenth Step or Mer De Noms (which is my favorite album). It wasn't smooth. It felt, to me and I'm sure many other fans, as if the band rushed this album out on to the shelves. Sad, because that was their last album...so far. I'm really hoping they'll pull something together. Anyway, Tool is another favorite. I can acutally say that I love A Perfect Circle first before Tool. Don't get me wrong, Tool is really great; but I didn't fall in love. I see this as Maynard's more aggressive/angry/violent side. This is the band that I listen to when I get angry, and I just need that medium to vent. A Perfect Circle, as I see it, is more spiritual, fanciful, soul-empowring, and dare I say hypnotizing. When I listen to APC, my mind completely disconnects, and I've found more inspiration listening to them than I have with any other band. I'm so terribly disappointed that they haven't come out with anything new. Which leads me to Puscifer... I had no idea about Puscifer, and I normally keep up with bands and their projects [if I really like the band, that is]. Joe (Silpheed) actually asked me if I had heard Puscifer, and sent me the song that was on the Underwold 2 soundtrack, "Undertaker". I did a little research, and found out that it wasn't 'technically' a band, but Maynard's side project while he's not touring with Tool. And yes, Puscifer is going to be releasing more music in October...and I'm very excited. I instantly fell in love with Puscifer. The music is darker, sexier (not in the 'sexy' way Tool is), a little gothic-like, and provocative. It's all Maynard's ideas that don't play well with others (Tool and A Perfect Circle); ideas that are a tad rough and scary for those bands. I'm very excited to see what Puscifer will do. So, all around, I love Maynard James Keenan, and anything he does, really. He's a genius, with a painfully sexy voice. For the record,I say he has the sexiest voice in music. No one can change my mind. I'm glad someone brought these bands to light. I love talking about, and learning new things about, any of these bands.

I am sorry, but I must pull out. I was caught off guard by the RPG, and was not prepared. I can't catch up/keep up, and I do not want to be any sort of inconvenience. So, to keep from complicating anything, I respecfully withdrawl. I have informed Raiha and have given permission for Scarlet Mistress to be used as an NPC character. Do what is neccessary for the story. Athena.

OOC- Edited for my carelessness.. Puffing on a cherry and vanilla-flavored cigarette, Chi pranced towards the White Prince's office. The eloquent, mahogany hallways were quiet and empty; as no servents, whores, and/or customers were prohibited from entering this wing of the brothel house. Anyone other than higher-up personel found in the wing would be punished thoroughly...however the Scarlet Mistress chose. The floors were also made of wood, but made out of oak to withstand weight and the intense pounding of Chi's high heels. Approaching the door to Lu's office, Chi butted her cigarette gently against the sole of her shoe. She raised her hand to open the door when suddenly it opened. A very handsome man with soft, milky skin stood before her. He paused, and seemed a bit surprised to see the bronze beauty. She nodded respectfully and stood aside. Even though she was a very high rank amongst mongrels, a woman's place was, but of course, an inferior amongst men. The young man nodded back, letting his partner pass before he did. "Mistress, we need to talk," he spoke. "I was just looking for you, actually," Chi's voice was deep and blunt, "Follow." She spun carefully on her heel and walked towards her designated study. Snowcat closely following, seemingly mellow. Chi stopped at an elaborately carved door and grasped the heavy brass handle. Again, with privileged respect (meaning she never gives low-life men respect), Chi waved her hand for the two men to enter her room. The walls, defying the rest of the décor of the wing, were a soft off-white with paintings of dragons and clouds; typical Chinese artwork, but stunning as the paint was made with real gold flakes....on Chi's request. The furnishings were Victorian style, with gold embrodery to match the paintings. "Quite beautiful, Mistress," Snowcat marveled. "Thank you. Now, you don't need to explain to me what happened to Mai. It's a shame to hear of anything like that," Chi started, offering the men a seat, "Particularly because Mai was gorgeous and made lots of money for the both of us." "Unfortunate, yes, but there are dozens of others. The only thing I'm concerned about is that detective," the silver-haired man toyed with his scarf. "I doubt we'll have to worry too much," Chi smirked, "But there is something else that is a growing concern. I'm sure Boss has given you an assignment to research a drug. We know the drug's called 'Dragon's Tongue'. And it is very nasty." "How peculiar." "I know. Apparently, the tramp that had an encounter the drug has confined herself to her quarters. She told me about what happened with her client," Chi's face contorted a little as she relit the cigarette she was carrying, "She wouldn't talk much for she would gag and nearly vomit all over my new Prada shoes. What she did say is that while she was blowing him he started twitching and made disgusting noises. She knew he wasn't moaning out of pleasure, but out of extreme pain. She looked up, and his eyes were rolled back and his body stiffened. The poor bastard bit his own tongue off in the process.." "That's nasty, Mistress. Do you have any ideas where we could start?" Blowing a thick cloud of white smoke from her lips, Chi shook her head gently. "You should start with the girl. Her name is Mei Ying," Chi handed the pimp a portrate of a teen-aged girl named Mei Ying. "She's cute." "I shall escort you." Chi put out her cigarette for good and walked out from behind her desk. OOC- I hope that's okay. Ugh, I'm not happy with this character. But, I guess that fits her personality, lol. Name: Chi Zhu Gender: Female Organization nickname: ?Scarlet Mistress? Age: 21 Chinese Zodiac Sign: Ox Organization of Choice: The Brotherhood of the Jade Forest Function: Brothel mistress/co-founder. She pretty much runs the place. Organizes small crime stuff. Appearance: Chi stands at a unique 5?9 and weighs a healthy 140 lbs. Her black eyes pierce right through anything that stands in her way. Her black hair shines with a hint of red in the sunlight, framing her oh so perfectly shaped face. Not too round, not too square. She never tans, but she somehow has a soft bronze-like glow and full crimson lips; making her stand out in a crowd of other Chinese women. She typically only wears scarlet red lipstick for make-up. And a short-length, skin tight white dress stretches and hugs every voluptuous curve Chi possesses; accompanied by a red lace garter around her left thigh. If she?s feeling a little, just a little, modest, she?ll accompany the white dress with a business blazer. Weapon of Choice: This bombshell carries very little weaponry. Her choice in weapons is knives; in which she carries on her at all times. One switchblade finds home in the garter on her left thigh. One butterfly knife tucked away in a small handbag Chi carries. And a small dagger disguises itself as a broach nestling right between Chi?s breasts. Of course she?s familiar with hand-to-hand combat, but her aim and swiftness is remarkable. Besides, with the smoking body she?s blessed with, who needs any more weapons than that? Biography: Chi was born into poverty. She was raised in some of the worst areas in/surrounding Singapore. The family never really stayed put; always being forced to move out of the shitholes they lived in because money was hard to keep a hold of?.especially when you have 4 other siblings, and two coke-addicted parents. Chi grew up in the streets, learning the ways of riff-raff and selling both herself and whatever drugs she could swipe from her parents. Eventually, she wound up pushing a very dangerous, not so known, drug. The young man who purchased the drug ended up having an allergic reaction and ultimately died. But not before he ratted the vixen out to his buddies. Of course, a gang of around 14 men found her?with a body like hers, it?s impossible to miss her. So, they found her, and all decided the best punishment for her was, obviously, rape and death. Unable to handle 14 men, Chi tried to fight her way. She got a good stab or two in some of the men, but was quickly overtaken. Luckily enough for Chi, she was saved by the man she calls ?Boss?. Ironically, he was the head hancho of the gang. Feeling fortunate, ?Boss? felt Chi was too rare and beautiful to be killed. He offered her the dubious job of being his mistress and helping him run his brothel?of course, she?d have to be the main attraction. But he promised he?d never subject her to such torment as the men had planned. She would live a life of slavery, but would be paid vast sums of money and protection. Personality: Cold as stone. Living the life she had to, Chi?s emotions have pretty much been numbed and given her a sour attitude. The only hint of emotion she has is for Boss.; hate but grateful for her life. She?s a fierce woman, and unforgiving. Don?t come crying to her if you got a rough night in the dirty beds of her brothel; you?ll get no sympathy, and possibly a kick to the face.
OOC: I'm sorry if this sucks. I have been busy with training. I wasn't expecting to study for a test every single night :( "So, how are we supposed to find a flesh-eating ghoul?" Nicolette ran her fingers though her dark hair. Angelica coughed slightly and dropped her cigarette to the ground. Squishing it beneath her sneaker, she began to walk in the opposite direction from where the ghoul was thought to have run off in. Nicolette gave Shang a look that suggested she was a bit irritated with Angelica's lack of communication. The humble Chinese man shrugged and followed. "Shouldn't we be walking the other way, Angelica?" he questioned politely. "You can if you want. But I don't think he completely left the scene." Shang and Nicolette cocked their heads to the side but continued to follow the disgruntled Spaniard. Angelica glanced over her shoulder before stopping. "He's a flesh-eater, and from the looks of that body, he's starving. He got interrupted while eating his claimed 'prize', if you will. Flesh-eating ghouls usually don't just leave their claims. They're afraid that another will try to take it away from them," Angelica scraped her fingernails against her scalp, "So, the fucker is hiding out somewhere, waiting for his opportunity to get his meal back. If he's very desperate for food, he'll be forced to attack." "How do you know so much about creatures who feast off of the dead?" Shang asked. A shadow passed over Nicolette's head, forcing Angelica's attention to deter elsewhere. She held out her hand to notion that she didn't want either of them to move. Slowly she crept towards the building the shadow seemed to disappear into. No windows were open, and there was no alleyway. "What was it?" Nicolette whispered. "Was it the ghoul?" Shang clenched his fist. "No. It wasn't the ghoul, or I would've smelled death. It was a shadow. Probably just a bird or something, I didn't get a good look," Angelica sighed, her tense body relaxed, "In my old job, my partner and I were assigned to pretty much the disgusting and vile cases. Mostly dealing with necrophiliacs and other such filth. So, the smell of them becomes as natural to me as perfume." "Gross." Both Nicolette and Shang agreed. Angelica nodded and continued to walk around, peeking into empty buildings and trash cans along the sidewalk. "If you start to smell something that you wouldn't consider normal, then you're probably getting close to the ghoul. Or on his trail, at least. So keep your eyes and noses open," Angelica joked.
All right. I'm sorry I haven't posted here or there yet. I just started training for my job, and I had a rough weekend. I am feeling good to start this shindig! Okay, so it looks like I'm going to be interracting with Sakura and BKstyles immediately. We were tasked to see if this ghoul has left us a trail of "bread crumbs"..and if it's attacked again. SO, what to do gang? How do we want to approach this? If no one answers in the next day, I'm just going to post and hopefully no one gets all bent out of shape. Adapt and improvise! But seriously, if either of you two [Sakura and BK] have any suggestions, have at it.

Who's my favorite member and what members have become popular, my favorite soul song of the 70's. Seeing as how I've been pretty distant from this site for a long time now, I can't really answer the second question. Popularity is like technology. It changes too rapidly. But in any case, the one member that pops into my head when I think of that question is The Boss [aka Mike]. I remember when I first joined, and he was Daigo (for short). Throughout the years, he vanished and came back, then vanished again..changed screen names..then vanished. BUT he's been back for quite some time, I know. And in that time, I think he's grown a bit more popular. I see people referring to him often in their posts, and I think that's pretty awesome. Go Mike! My favorite member[s]? 1.) Desbreko- He's always good-tempered and has always been very kind to me. (not that anyone hasn't...but still, Des is the f**king best.) 2.) James- Again, a very kind person and let me tell you, this dude has patience...most of the time, hehe. Seriously, James has always been there to cheer me up, set me straight, and/or calm me down whenever my stubborn butt needed it. We haven't spoken in some time, but I'll never forget him or second-guess my opinions on him. 3.) 'zeke (Jamie)- Very sweet, and very talented and intelligent girl. Her writing is amazing, and I'm always excited to read what character she comes up with next. Plus, she's hotness! 4.) The Boss. 'nuff said. 5.) Corey/Gavin- I put them together again because they pretty much combine to one person, haha. Normally, you don't see one without the other..but seeing as how I hear Corey has retired, I guess we'll have to deal :D (I love you Gavin, hah). Corey is an excellent writer, and I'm going to miss his creativity and humor. He is very respectful and always made me feel "wanted". And it's pretty much the same with Gavin. Sometimes, he can be that old, grouchy Irishman. But all around, Gavin is wise and charming. And I'm glad to have known him. 6.) Mimmi! OMG I'm so a Mimmi fangirl. She's incredibly sweet, funny, and damned smart. She can be completely random, but make complete sense. And that's hard to find IRL or on the internet!

I, too, am working on a character. This looks like it could be fun, and it's been a while since I've showed my face around these here parts. I'd like to get back into the swing. I'd say expect my sign-up by tonight or tomorrow afternoon. EDIT- All righty, I've completed my character. Sorry if it's not up to par, I've been out of the loop for some time. Edit 2- Blarg, "necrophilia" is supposed to be "necrophiliac". Stupid Word Processor.
12 years ago-- Tuscany, Italy ?Angelica! Wait!? a boy of, maybe, 12 called out. He had been chasing her through the crowded, steep streets of Tuscany for nearly an hour. His breath was growing thin, and his frail heart beat wildly to catch up with his legs. The small 11-year-old girl named ?Angelica? kept her cadence, but quickly looked over her shoulder. ?Go away, Frances! Leave me alone! You'll never understand me,? the slender girl yelled over her shoulder. ?Why are you running from me? I won?t tell a soul, I promise!? Frances huffed, finally coming to a stop beside the towns? crowning water fountain. He heaved hard, limping to a bench and crumbling onto it; scaring away the pigeons that cooed and purred for food. Angelica realized her friend had stopped chasing and she spun around to see him convulsing on the bench. His ghastly display of wrenching and gagging caught the attention of passing citizens. Several crowded around him and started shouting for the ambulance. ?FRANCES!!? she cried, knowing full-well what was happening. She sped across the cobblestone and shoved people out of her way. A burly man grabbed a hold of her tiny, bony arm and whirled her around. ?He needs air, let the boy breathe!? he said, tossing Angelica like a rag doll. ?No, he needs my help! He needs me!? Angelica wailed on the man?s thick thigh. ?Look, you little squirt, you can?t help him!? he roared back, kicking his leg like a mule. Angelica soared back into the streets, scraping her hands and elbows on the rough stones. Stinging tears welled up in her big, brown eyes. She gritted her gapped teeth and curled her little fists, which began to flicker with little sparks. Angelica, brushed her tears away and ran towards the bench. Her hands spread out, shocking every person she neared. She slammed her palms on Frances? chest, rubbing him softly. ?Please, don?t leave me again. You?re my best friend,? Angelica whispered, her eyes focusing on her friend?s twisted face. "You're going to lose him!" a woman cried out. The whine of the ambulance finally came into hearing distance, but Angelica didn?t budge. Her hands glowed and sparked. Webs of electricity trickled between her fingers. Frances? little body jumped from the bench, but he still wouldn?t breathe. Again, Angelica placed her palms on his chest, squeezing his pectorals gently. This time, the bolts of electricity shone a bit brighter, causing all the citizens to jump back in fright. ?Frances?..please..? Angelica pleaded. Present day-- 2 undercover agents are hungry. ?Yo, Earth to Angelica, you?re going to lose him!? The scruffy, unshaven 24-year-old man snapped his fingers impatiently at his careless partner. His eyes cried for food, and for the taste of absolution. The two had been following a shyte case for almost 6 months with no productive results. The only ones they did gather was that they were, again, without money each and every night. And they were trudging through muck and filth at the sewage treatment plant. And it was beginning to wear her partner very, very thin. Angelica exhaled a cloud of smoke. It would be her last cigarette out of her emergency stash. She was savoring the sweetness of the cheap Italian-made tobacco. It would certainly be a long time before she could afford any more. Her cold, apathetic eyes slinked around and finally fixated on the creature in her left hand. ?Angelica!? ?Shut up, Marcus!? she hissed, "I know what I'm doing." Chewing on the filter of her cigarette, Angelica reached around her back with her free hand and fiddled around in her hip satchel to pull out a pair of dark sunglasses. The low-life scum she held in her hand was a necrophiliac and had been caught on several occasions feasting on corpses along the riverside. The corpses ranged from dead rodents to horses to humans who had been ?bumped off?. And frankly, society found this creature rather unsettling and repulsive. Basically, it was creating a big scene, and Angelica and her impatient partner, Marcus, were called to take out the garbage. No on in their precinct liked dealing with ?flesh eaters?. They carried all sorts of diseases, wielded complicated curses and vanishing spells, and were even rumored to be ?from out of this world?. So, of course, they had to be disposed of. So here she was, pissed off that she and her partner had to risk their lives and covers for barely any reward. They were lucky to get fifty dollars a week for these duties. The PPA (Paranormal Protection Agency) was a small, low-funded organization Angelica had fallen into who treated their agents with little respect. Not to mention, the entire corp. was even more crooked than a pig?s tail. But, this is where Angelica dwelled. Holding a greasy and atrociously smelling beast in her hand. Luckily for her, it was a small thing. No bigger than a domestic cat. It wriggled and squirmed, slipping between Angelica?s fingers. ?If you don?t want to lose your eyesight, Marcus, I?d put those sunglasses on,? she winked over her shoulder, ?This is going to be nasty.? Marcus grumbled, and pulled his sunglasses down from the top of his forehead. Smirking slightly, making her stubbed cigarette dance playfully, Angelica concentrated. The dim lighting of tired, burnt out lamps of the treatment plant began to flicker in the fog. One-by-one, the bulbs began to pop and burst, sending glass and sparks to the ground below. Any hot particle sizzled as it touched the sludge coating the cement. Angelica?s smirk grew into a smile as the fog around her twinkled with specks of lightning. Marcus took a few steps back, his body tensing up as the electricity in the air gushed past him. The Italian woman spat her cigarette to the ground, her chapped lips moved slowly in a chant. All of a sudden, the specks of lightning rushed to the palm of her right hand, forming a sphere. ?Lampo tempesta!!? Angelica cried, bringing her sphere of light down onto the creature under her left hand. The sphere popped, sending a clap into the air and flash of lightning into the sky. The ground below her spat and crackled. Streams of electricity and light whizzed and swirled where the necrophiliac had once been. ?God damnit, that took you long enough,? Marcus sighed, brushing the hairs of his arm back down to their natural state. ?Clamp it,? Angelica growled, ?Now, let?s go get our reward. I?m starving, and I want a cigarette.? ?Yes, my o? unholy witch,? Marcus teased. ?Don?t call me that.? ?What, a witch?? Marcus danced around her. ?No. ?Unholy?." Angelica dusted her smoking hand on her soft, worn out leather pants.
*By the way, this is what Angelica DeJesus looks like. She's 23, and is pretty comfortable with her magic. However, sometimes it doesn't work quite well as she'd like, so she studied some combat. She throws knives.

I can't say what season is my favorite. I think they've all got their moments. The first season, I'll say, had to be the hook for me. No matter how many times I watch it, I still can't get enough of it. I've seen every episode all the way up to their recent, 79. I must say, I laughed my *** off throughout the entire time I took to watch all 5 seasons. There are just some episodes that are priceless. I do, however, have complaints.
I don't like how they made Donut out to be a complete homo when he used to be the smartest in season one. That just made me mad because now he's just as retarded as Caboose; if not more. And how they made Simmons seem even more like a kiss-***.
People argue with me that
they feel Caboose got even more stupid; but he really didn't. They just gave him more lines, and more screenplay than he had in the first season.
But all around, I can't get enough Red vs Blue.....as you can tell by my new name and banner/avi set.

I'm not going into too much detail, because it brings up bad emotions, but my life got screwed up for about 8-9 months this year. February 20th. Someone I loved dearly destroyed me. Took me 7-8 months to accept what happened. Then, he crushed me not too long ago ['bout a month ago, maybe a bit more]. Distance sucked for us, but apparently it's not a big deal for him and his new girl. Whatever, he's happier; I'm happier with my new boyfriend (who helped me get over the last month). So, it worked out; but there's still a bit of a sour taste in my mouth. As I'm sure it'll be for a very long time..considering I still care for him more than anything. But, no matter how happy my current boyfriend makes me..it's still very hard for me to completely and fully trust him. It's something we're working on.

Bands You Love That None Of Your Friends Have Heard Of
Annie replied to 2010DigitalBoy's topic in Noosphere
I don't know how many people know about these guys. I honestly just found out about them maybe an hour ago, thanks to Joe (di.fm)! The band is called Str8jackit. Totally metal, with a twist of fantasy metal. Normally, I don't really go crazy over this genre..but something about these guys caught me, and I kind of had a fangirl moment. Go check them out. That's pretty much all the "unknown" bands. Everything else I listen to is pretty mainstream. Then there's a band I love to promote every chance I get. They're more rock, but still freaking great. Check 'em out, they're the one and only Blackline. -
How did you come up with your internet/screen name ?
Annie replied to corpseman's topic in General Discussion
I have...many names. Haha, I couldn't help it. Anyway, I'm not very active on message boards anymore. Over the years, I've taken on names from "Grim Reaper" to "Af Bri" (Af Bri is an angel that excersise control of the rain), and I'm most known around these Boards as "Goddess/Annie/Athena". "Goddess" came from my first, and very old, AIM s/n "GoddessUnluck". Which, I miss, and I think it's time to go back to that one. Anyway, people just called me "Goddess" for short in those crazy OB chats. So, it just flowed naturally to the OB. And then it took over a few random message boards I tried to get into. "Annie" is short for my full name, and it's what everyone in the universe calls me. I only used this s/n here on the OB. "Athena" was used here only. I wanted to change my name from Annie to Goddess, again..but I wanted to be specific, and someone suggested "Athena". I looked into her, and she and I could be twins. Just in personality and attitude. I'm much prettier. :p "Étaín" came from.....shyte. I wanted to rid myself of Athena because it was too endearing and was a reminder of what I once had, and now I don't. So, I asked Dags to pick something. And this is what she gave me. I will admit, I haven't read the story behind this name just yet, but according to Dagger, it's an Irish folk story. So, me being half Irish, I'm intrigued and love it. It's pretty, and doesn't remind me of anything. As far as games go, the only game online I played was Guild Wars. There, my main character was Belial Hades. Hm, let's see...where else? MySpace? Well, for my url I chose "as_33"...because that's the element arsenic. Poison. My display name changes frequently, usually depending on my mood. That's pretty much it.
