1. "Azrael, why haven't you killed this filthy disgrace?! You know the rules!" "Apparently you do not!" -Azrael's eyes reflected the moonlight, glowing brightly in the darkness in which he lurked. Uriel stood back and clenched his fist- "You f***ing hypocrite! Allowing me to live, to be reborn, is sin greater than this Angel." "I had no choice!" "Do you think she had one? I think not. Now, do not concern yourself on a mere Angel. Tell me why you let my resurrection come to play?" -Ann sank to her knees and hands in agonizing pain. Her back arched upward and her shoulderblades began to bulge. Alexandria shot an all knowing look at Azrael. Ann would soon bear her wings. Azrael nodded- "Azrael, Arc Angel of Death. God's Flame. You..you must come back to the Heavens! God is planning on destroying all that glitters in Heaven!" "What?!" -Azrael's voice boomed, shattering the glass skylight and quaking the ground. Alexandria smiled- "Yes, the Heavens have been tainted in recent years. Angels by the hundreds are falling from ultimate grace. Angels that still pledge their alligance to God struggle to fight their brethren. Heaven is now becoming Hell above. God plans to destroy it all and start anew." "And this concerns me how? I think that's probably the smartest decision God's ever made." "Azrael, do you realize that if He does go through with this, we will be cast into non-existance as well?" "What?!" -Alexandria shot in. Uriel nodded solemnly- "Yes. In destroying the Heavens that exist today, it will destroy all Angels that ever reigned in its time. Including Azrael, heavenly blood still pumps through his heart and body." "...But, he has demonic blood too! Wouldn't that have any affect?" "No. The demon blood has no nevermind. The demon whose blood is in Azrael would still survive." "Why?" "Because, Angel and Demon blood do not mix completely. It is like oil and water. Certain circumstances allow demon blood to take affect, while the Angelic blood remained dormant. Vice-versa. So, if Heaven is destroyed, so is Azrael." -Azrael remained quiet. He looked at Ann, her back began to bruise and swell. Her flesh began to crack, streams of blood trickled down her sides and arms. He looked to Uriel- "Why me? You are Salvation. You save people and their souls. How come you cannot save your brethren of choir?" "I..I am not strong enough against God." -Azrael stared- "You've fallen, haven't you?" "Not entirely. I still serve my God. I just don't want to be thrown into oblivion. I want to stay and serve my purpose, my reason for being created. Is this so much to ask for, Azrael?" -Uriel's eyes teared. He knelt before Azrael, taking one of his hands- "Please, Azrael. You, you are the strongest of us all. And..He fears you, Azrael. You've become more powerful than He expected." "God? Fear? That's a hell of a bedtime story." "Azrael, please...my brother, help us." "Why should I? You all have been sent here to kill me." "But, you are.." "The strongest?! All you are here to do is use my power! You are the filthy disgrace of a f***ing Angel! That," Azrael points to Ann, "she is more heavenly than you! You disgust me, Uriel. You deserve to be cast into nothingness!" -Azrael wrenched his hand from the snivering Uriel and unsheathed his blade. Alexandria stood beside Ann. Ann stared in horror- "I will not help you! You coward." -Azrael raised his blade, it began to glow bright red. Uriel hung his head, tears falling to the floor. Azrael swiftly brought his sword slicing through the air- "AZRAEL!! STOP!! PLEASE, DON'T!!" -Ann burst into tears, her pure voice broke the tension. She collapsed to the floor, her back jolted. Tearing flesh, painful cries, Ann curled up into the fetal postion. White, pearly wings began to break from their entrapment. Ann coughed and screamed. Alexandria stepped back, surprised at what she was seeing. She had never witnessed an Angel claiming its wings- "Azrael..will she.." "She'll be just fine. It happens to all Angels who receive their wings." -Azrael informed, calmly and watched Ann carefully. Uriel watched as well- "..wh..at's..happening...to..me?" "You are dying." "What?" -Alexandria twirled around on Azrael- "Her mortal body is dying, wipping her slate clean. She will be in torment for a few more minutes, but she will be awakened to something more gloreous." -Uriel spoke softly- "Feh, glory of immortatlity to serve God? Yeah, okay. Let's become an Angel to serve a God who plans on destroying you. That sounds absolutely marvelous." -Alexandria spat and folded her arms- "I feel sorry for her. To undergo such misery and death, only to become non-existant." -Azrael sheathed his sword and walked over to Ann. Her body shook violently, her lips quivered and slowly lost their rosey color. Her skin was freezing to the touch and pale as fresh snow. Azrael knelt down and scooped her into his arms. He turned and gestured at Alexandria to follow. He stretched his wings and took to the air. Alexandria followed. Uriel took wing as well- "Azrael! What will you do?!" -Ignoring this, Azrael with Ann in his arms, and Alexandria flew into the thick blackness of the scorched night. Alexandria stopped infront of Azrael- "What are you going to do, Azrael?" "I hate to say this, but I am going to Heaven." "Why? I thought you didn't want to go back there." "I don't. But I will not allow this Angel to be destroyed for no purpose! God created Heaven and he can sure keep it under control. And the more I think about it, something doesn't sound right about this idea of his." "Do you plan to defeat God?" "...I don't know yet." -Azrael cradled Ann close to him. He looked down to see her twisted face and hugged her to his breast. Alexandria glared. She stopped for a brief second. Azrael stopped and cocked his head to the side- "Alex." "Do you cherish an Angel more than me?" "Of course not. Alex, this Angel has no one on her side. The Angels want to kill her. The Demons will slaughter her. And not even God cares. We, both of us, are all she has..please, don't be angry. She needs you." -Ann choke on her tears, gasping for a steady breath. Alexandria sighed and looked away from Azrael's crying eyes- "...Alright, love, alright." "Thank you." -Azrael gave Alexandria a small kiss and the two began to soar into the night. Azrael stopped abruptly, causing Alexandria to fly into him. She began to say something, but was quickly shushed by Azrael's deep and serious composure. He handed Ann over into Alexandria's arms and stared out into the horizon- "He's here.."

3. -Azrael tilted his head and smiled lightly, empty, at Ann. He brushed a strand of hair from her clamy face. Her eyes spoke more to him than her words. He leaned in close to her and whispered in her ear- "Do not fear, Ann, dear Angel. Mr. Bailey has more skeletons in his closet than you can possibly conceive. Conceptions that cannot be placed in the mortal world. Conceptions in which Heaven, nor Hell, will never accept from a pathetic soul such as his." -Azrael gently traced a finger over Ann's jawbone. Her eyes flickered with confusion. Azrael then focused his attention on Mr. Bailey who eyed the dark angel with lust- "So, you know of my past, Azrael." "Yes. And I am very surprised at you Uriel, Arch Angel of Salvation.? ?Heh, why so?? ?Salvation, right? Are you not supposed to have stopped my rebirth?? ?Possibly.? -The two stared, burning holes into one another?s souls. Mr. Bailey, or Uriel rather, stood silent, but he quavered. His spirit was restless, anxious, nervous, and fearful. Alexandria rolled her head in delight. Ann slowly, unconsciously, made her way to Alexandria?s side- ?He?s an Angel, too?? ?So it seems Mr. Bailey had a large skeleton in hiding.? ?But..if he?s the Arc Angel of Salvation, why did he help in the resurrection of Azrael?? -Alexandria threw Ann a small shrug and smile- ?Beats me.? ?That?s comforting.?

Blood-red Moon

OOC: I'm now confused..Do we know where the other 3 stones are? Or do we have them? Oh well, I'm going to go with the thought that we haven't acquired the other stones yet. IC: Yelena gazed after Charisma, tilting her head slightly at Charisma's sudden burst of acknowledgement. Yelena shrugged and walked out of the building and into the chill of the night. There was no moon, only glittering stars. Rook looked after her and followed. "Yelena, you promise you will not say a word.." "Of course I will keep my tongue. I have no reason to say anything about you." Rook sighed and leaned against the brick wall. Yelena folded her arms across her chest and stared blankly into the darkness. "Yelena..how did you meet Lex?" Yelena's eyes met Rooks. His read of pain and loneliness, innocent and gentle. "I..I'd rather not talk about that." "I'm sorry." The two stared for a minute, then Yelena began to walk. Rook pushed himself from the wall. "Where are you going?" "...I don't know." "Do you want me to come with you?" "No. Stay with the others, they will need you more than I." Yelena jumped high into the air and grabbed ahold of a window seal. She volted herself onto a balcony and lept onto the next building. Her movement was of liquid motion, flawless and graceful, showing her age. Old. Only the older vampires knew how to control their bodies and minds. "...I will head to Germany. It is time I repay my debt."
5. "Azrael..." -Ann uttered, nearly breathless. Her voice was barely above a whisper, but Azrael's sensitive ears caught every vocal chord twinge. He slowly turned to face her, his eyes empty and a cool smirk slide across his face- "What is it, Ann?" -Ann blinked, surprised that he had used her name, and nicely- "What..what blood?" -Azrael tilted his head- "His blood." "Who's?" -This was Alexandria's voice, forceful, yet calm- "...My blood doner.." -Alexandria's eyes widened in shock. Ann gazed confused. Azrael hung his head, his dark, silky hair fell over his pale face. He then looked to the sky, staring at the moon through the skylight- ''..Mordercy." "You're kidding me, right? Azrael. Azrael!" "No. I am not kidding you, Alexandria. Mordecry, a Grim Demon, his blood flows with mine." -Alexandria stepped back, her face twisted with disgust. Ann found her strength and stood- "But..how did you receive his blood? He does not visit Earth." "He did, to find me. Lucifer sent him to recover my body so that he could ressurrect me to join him once more. So, Mordecry did find me, only to be challenged with Dr. Allington. To avoid a disturbance, Mordecry decided to disguise himself as a human boy and follow Dr. Allington. His plan was to kill the good doctor and take me away, but that was thwarted, thanks to Mr. Bailey. He was the one who was able to gather Mordecry's blood. Mordecry retreated, obviously his cover was blown. Need I describe the rest of my ressurrection?" "How do you know this?" -Ann peeped in- "Silly girl, Mordecry's memories are in his blood, and his blood mixes with mine. Thus, giving me details on what has happened all these years." "Mr. Bailey..he escaped your wrath. You do know he's coming here tonight for you, Azrael." -Ann stepped forward, finally starting to relax. Azrael sat down and opened his leather book. He thumbed through the pages, humming a melancholic tune. He stopped and traced the page with his finger- "Ah, yes. Mr. Bailey, I have an appointment with him...tonight." "Azrael, love. Is Mordecry coming to you?" -Azrael looked up at Alexandria. Her lateness amused him- "Yes. I can feel him. I don't know how close or far he is, but no doubt he seeks me." "Do you think he's coming to kill you?" "Perhaps, perhaps not. Who knows. The Grim Demon race is quite unique, especially Mordecry. He takes no authority from no one, not even Lucifer..most of the time anyway. So it is impossible to know Mordecry's thoughts and moves. And that, my dear Alexandria, is why I'm so anxious to make aquaintance. Somehow, I'm greatly intrigued, our blood pumps with fire and intensity. It's almost..." "Passionate." -Alexandria spat, sitting next to Azrael. Ann stood silent, taking in all of the information. Azrael smiled wickedly and chuckled at Alexandria's firey response- "Yes..that's the word I am looking for. Passionate."
6. -Azrael's eyes shifted slightly. A presence was tugging at his conscience. A sweet and innocent presence, one of grace and poise- "An Angel..." -Azrael chuckled lightly and lowered himself from the air. His boots tapped the floor with short, yet long strides. His now human-like eyes cautiously peered into the hallway, falling upon a young girl standing between two security guards. Azrael blinked- "This is no Angel, her blood smells of human. Perhaps..." -Azrael closed his eyes, he chanted softly and slowly opened his eyes. He gazed at this human girl in astonishment. He smiled softly- "Yes, so it seems my second guess is correct. She's an Angel who knows not, she has not been awakened." -Azrael hides behind a marble pillar, watching curiously as to what this girl was to do- "I'm sorry, kid. I can't let you in without authorized identification. Plus, we are in an emergency status." "But.." "No 'buts' kid, now get outta here!" -One of the guards raised his hand, but was stopped by the other. The other who wore a sly, sneaky face- "What?! This little ***** is getting on my last nerve! I'm not going to get my *** fired because of a little girl!" "Maybe we could let her in. We could 'escort' her and she can show us her 'identification'..heh..heh..heh. Whadya say, Chuck?" -The other man lowered his hand and smiled manically. He then reached down and grabbed the girl's arm forcively. She twisted and kicked, trying desperately to free herself. Her scream echoed in Azrael's ears. He clasped his hands over his ears and laughed- "A set of lungs she has. But she better wake up." -Azrael's eyes hardened as he watched on as the men drug the flailing girl into the dark corridors of the building. He slinked from his black hiding place and quietly followed- "Let go of me!!! Please!! Don't hurt me!!" "Oh, we're not gonna hurt yous. Don't worry, sweetness, you'll enjoy it. Just relax!" "Noooo!! God, please help me!!" -Azrael flinched at the girls desperation for God. He growled lightly and decided to interact- "God? God will not help you. So you might as well help yourself, Angel." "What?" -The girl blinked through a wall of tears. The two men dropped her on her back and charged at Azrael. He merely slide to the side and slashed both men with his sword. Both men fell into halves. Azrael took in a deep breath and looked at the girl. The girl lay on the ground, trembling in fear and shock. Azrael cocked his body to the left and bit at his blade. He glanced from her horrified face to the four pieces of bodies- "What...what..are you?! Stay away from me!" -The girl scampered backwards into a wall. Azrael casually walked towards her and pointed his blade directly at her chest- "Get up." "Don't hu-" "Damn it kid, just get up." "I have a name!" "Then get your *** off of the floor and introduce yourself! My patience runs dry, Angel!" -Azrael appeared inches infront of her face, his blade hair's width away from her throat. The girl stared with mixed emotions, anger and fear. However, she found the courage to stand with her back against the wall- "Now, that wasn't so hard, was it?" -Azrael wiped the blade clean of blood and sheathed it between his wings- "My name is Ann." " 'Ann'? That's a pretty name. I am Azrael, Arc Angel of Death." "You? You are an Angel?!" " Arc, Arc Angel, mind you." "What kind of Angel slays people?" -Azrael sighed exasperately and sits down- "Does my name have no f***ing meaning to you? 'Angel of DEATH'?" "But..aren't Angels supposed to be....." "Heavenly? Pure? White and majestic? Graceful and loving? Any of those characteristics come to mind? Well, there are many Angels that fit that description. I, however, am of a different breed." "You are fallen.." -Azrael looked at Ann- "I chose to be what I am, well, by means of a 'fallen' Angel." -Ann sat back down, several feet away. Azrael stretched his arms and suddenly shot up into the air- "..That blood.." "What blood?" "....It runs through my stream.." -Ann blinked confused. Azrael spoke calm and mellow- "...That blood..."
7. -Dr. Allington glared and exited the room. Azrael closes his eyes but suddenly opens them- "Michael....Kiros, they are here. And what's this? Ah yes, Anastasius, my love. Welcome back.." -Azrael grits his teeth and forces his wings to push out on the metal restraints which kept him in place. He let out a cry as the metal bent under such pressure- "Jesus Christ...these are much stronger than the last set," Azrael growled and took in a deep breath. -Azrael let out his breath and stared at the ceiling that was made out of aluminum. He gazed at his new appearance. Such pale skin, dark hair, empty eyes, black attire- "Damn...Will she even recognize me?" -He shrugged and concentrated on setting himself free. He spread his wings and contracted his shoulderblades, sending a shower of metal-piercing rounds through the restraints and into the ceiling. Azrael blinked, dumbfounded as to how he did that, but quickly shrugged it off. The twisted and contorted metal flapped in the breeze of Azrael leaping into the air. The doctor came flying back into the room and glanced at the table that was now torn to shreads. His body went pale as he slowly looked up towards Azrael. The gothic angel held a delapitated book in his hand and thumbed lazily through the pages. He smiled and looked down at the doctor, taking a quill in hand. He licked the tip and drug it across the page- "Well, well, well. It seems you and I have a very important appointment. Aww, if you could only see the look on your face. Such a horrible expression. Maybe I should wipe that look off of your retched mug." -Azrael's wings began to glow and spark with electricity. His eyes turned pale brown to black, his pupils dialated and lit up red. The doctor scrambled towards the door, only to run into Azrael- "Unhand me, Azrael!!" -A sinister cackle- "You think I am going to grant your selfish request?! You are unworthy of my acknowledgement!" "I brought you back from the dead, you ungrateful bastard!!" -Azrael squinted his eyes and unsheathed his blade, stabbing the doctor's stomach and raised him in the air. Azrael smiled and slammed the blade into the wall. Gazing upon the beauty of Dr. Allington's utter shock and agony. He began to convulse uncontrolably and started spilling foaming blood from his wound and mouth- "I did not ask to be reborn, you sick ****! You have no right to give life, that is one being's job, and his only..God! You've played God and won. Now you shall gather your reward...in Hell." "Ba...st.." "Silence." -Azrael grabbed his blade and jerked it from the decaying doctor. Blood sprayed in the air and fell as red rain, drenching Azrael. He smiled and tilted his head- "....And so it begins."

10. WARNING- This RP may, and probably will, contain adult language, violence, gore, and bashing on religion. If you take anything that I just mentioned into heart or offensive, please do not bother to read/or participate. "How long has it been, Azrael? How long has it been since you have been rejected by your God?" -A silence, darkness fills the room. Smoke floods and scorches his nostrils. He gags, sweating and cold- "Too long, I'm fortunate. What day is it?" -Another cloud of smoke and another choke- "Does that matter?" "Yes, it does to me," coughing. "Does my smoking bother you? Of course it would," the man answered himself,"You are still too pure to take in all of man's destructive inventions." -A sizzling of a cigarette, small red sparks light up a rough hand- "What day is it?" "Azrael, Azrael..The question should be what year is it? And in that case, it is the year 2099." " '2099'?!" "Yes, is this a bad year?" the man chuckled. ".....So it begins..." "What does?" -Silence- "Please, Doctor, turn on the light," Azrael purred. "Why?" "Because, I wish to gaze upon my creator." "Fine." -Clicking of the doctor's shoes on the linolium floor and a flicker of laboratory lights. Azrael squints his eyes and looks towards the doctor. He was wearing the typical white lab jacket and black slacks. But there was something different about this doctor. He had a mechanical arm- "What happened to your arm, Doctor?" Azrael smirked. "You know damned well what happened to my arm, Azrael!" the doctor growled and limped over to Azrael, slapping him across the face with his heavy arm. -Blood splattered on the white floor. Azrael licked his lip and smiled up at the enraged man- "You are so abusive." "Shut up, you have been such a nuisance to me ever since I brought you back to life. I should have left your decaying body to rot." -Another belt across the face. This time, Azrael glared. His cybornic wings contracted underneath his body- "Do you think your mesely restraints will hold me forever, Dr. Allington? Your assistant, Mr. Bailey thought so..." -Azrael sighs lightly- "...I still remember the look on his face. Sheer horror. Ho, the pleasure." -Dr. Allington gritted his teeth. Azrael smiled-

Yelena sighed, happily. For the first time, she smiled out of a new emotion to her..joy. Never had she, in her memories, smiled or felt happiness or even love. No matter, she was finally happy. "Lex?" Yelena tilted her head away from the sun. "Yes," Lex brushed Yelena's dark hair from her face. "Why are you looking for the crystal?" Lex blinked, Yelena's eyes searched his. She couldn't see an answer. "Why were you looking for it, Yelena?" "I was going to turn myself back into a human..." her voice trailed off into the pinks and oranges of the new morning sky. Lex looked at her in confusion, "You weren't going to use it to enhance your powers?" "...No," Yelena's voice was deep, " Once you have spent lifetimes alone, you don't care what happens to your abilities. You just don't want to be alone anymore." "But you are not alone anymore," Lex tightened his arms around Yelena's waist. "No, not anymore," Yelena smiled. "Hey, you two lovebirds," Rook stepped in, "How about you get inside before the medicine wears off." Lex and Yelena smiled and entered the light-forbiddened apartment, hand in hand.

"He chooses his path," Yelena grunted and began to walk away. She stared in the direction she had saw Doll, contemplating whether to follow or not. "True, what are we going to do now?" Lex followed, thrusting his hands into his pockets. "I know of a place were we can find clearer answers about the crystal. Although, I must warn you, it will not be a pleasant place for either one of us," Yelena deeply notified. "Oh? I sense that this was a rough memory," Lex nipped Yelena's shoulder. "Of course you would sense that. Some of my memories were passed to you from my bite. That was why I was so hesitant to bite you," Yelena hugged herself. "..I never thought of that. I am sorry I forced you to turn me," Lex stopped for a second. Yelena stopped and looked at him, "If there was anyone whom I'd share my pain with, you would be the only one.....Now, let's get on our way."

The only thing I'm seeing wrong is the misspellig of his name, other than that, you all are looking good. Keep 'em coming.. Oh, one thing. I'm going to be gone for like a week. I am leaving one tech school and going to another, so I'm not quite sure the next time I'll be online. But please, be patient..Hatake, your spot is reserved.

"Do you wish to die?" Yelena tightened her grip around Rook's neck. He shook his head slowly, almost as if he really didn't care. Yelena smelled this attitude and growled lightly. She reached to her hip and unsheathed her sword slowly, sparks lit up bright blue due to the electricity the unusual metal. She brought the tip of the blade up to Rook's throat. "Then quit moving," Yelena's voice deepened. "Reaper, let him go. I think you are about to strangle him to death," Lex dusted himself off. Yelena sighed and released her grip, Rook fell limply to the street. Lex walked up to her and looked down at this mysterious figure. He looked back at Yelena and rolled his eyes. "What?" Yelena smirked. "I would like to find out who he is and why he was following the priest. What good would he be to us dead?" Lex shrugged and leaned over to pick up the figure. "Fine," Yelena sheathed her blade, a bolt of electricity lit up the street. Lex stood up, but suddenly fell to his knees and toppled over. He clentched his teeth and his muscles were sent through a violent spasm. Yelena nodded and knelt beside him. "What...is..." Lex muttered. "The begining of your transformation. Immortality,'' Yelena brushed her fingers over Lex's face, "You'll be fine in a minute." Lex curled up and began to wretch. Yelena stood and walked over to the unconcious person. He had no expression on his face. Yelena sat down and looked at him, watching him. She took up his shotgun and studied it. "Heh, this is a coward's weapon," she set it across her lap and took out a cigarette. She looked over at Lex, still struggling. She smiled lightly.
18. It is blinding. Cold, empty, searing light, surrounding his entire body. The smell of ether lingered in the air as it were oil floating atop water. Faint sounds of clattering and distant voices echo dully. His eyes began to twitch. "Doctor! I am seeing brain activity! I think this could actually work!" A drilling sound, hydrolics depressurizing. "Good, be careful. He's still in critical condition and unpredictable." "Yessir." "Mr. Bailey, do you know what we have done? Can you imagine the possibilities, the power we now posess?!" thw two men stared in awe. "Look! He's awakening!" Eyes slowly flickered open, focusing and absorbing his odd surroundings. Colors and figures run together. He shook his head lightly, sweat beading down his naked body. Finally, the figures seperated themselves from abstract shapes. "WHO ARE YOU?! WHAT IS THIS PLACE?! WHAT AM I DOING HERE?!" he fell off of the cold, steel table, landing with a thud and clank. "Careful," the man who appeared to be the doctor approached, reaching out. "Don't touch me!" crawling backwards, stumbling over a lab cart, he landed on his back, staring up at a lazy ceiling fan. A feather fluttered and spun carelessly, ending its journey on his nose. He plucked the feather from his face and studied it. A feather? Where did it come from? "What is this?" he asked aloud. The two scientists looked at eachother, then at him. They pointed towards the broken mirror. He rose to his feet only to collapse to his knees as if he were being weighted down with an anchor. Again he stood, slowly this time and fully balanced. Shards of glass pricked at his feet, yet he did not flinch. Edging himself infront of the distorted mirror, a sudden punch of detest and confusion struck him square in the gut. He did not see himself, only a stranger. Long dark hair, light honey skin, and two-toned eyes. His left was emerald; His right was a golden caramel. He traced a cresceant moon-shaped scar over his left eye and cheek. However, these slight changes proved to be petty with what he was about to see. Wings. Cybonic, stainless-steel and titanium, mechainical wings. Their metalic skeleton peeked through patches of feathers and flesh. He jumped back, insane with rage and confusion "What's going on here?!" he spun on the two scientists. "All in good time, Azrael, Arc Angel of Death," a manical chuckle and a glimmer of a madman's glasses, "...all in good time..." Long ago, Arc Angels ruled the Heavens as God slumbered. They were considered, at times, holier than God himself and were highly looked morally and faithfully upon. Always loyal, always faithful, always dedicated, until the Great Fall. The war drug on for thousands of years, and in these years, many angels died..and many betrayed God and the choir. This, to Azrael, was inexcusable. Commander of the Angelic Army, Azrael took it upon himself to avenge his fallen brothers and his God. But before he could carry out his ramage of justice, God condemned the renegades and slaughtered them all. Banished from the Heavens, forbidden on Earth, rejected from the HElls. These renegades became worse than a wandering soul, they became non-existant. Rendered with pain and betrayal, Azrael rebelled against God, joining Lucifer adn others in the rise of Hells and the fall of the Heavens. However, in the midsts of war, Azrael vanished without a trace. Nowhere to be found in all of the plains of Earth, Heaven, or Hell. Rumors spread that he had been caught by God and condemned to the non-existance. Some say he was reincarnated. Eventually, after Azrael's disappearance, balance began to sway. For the next trhee millenia, searches and bounties were dispatched to find Azrael. Heaven looks to kill; Hell looks to use him as a powerful allie. It wasn't until present day Earth that a doctor named Venitto Allington and his assisstant, Austin Bailey, stumbled upon a decaying corpse with massive wings. Dr. Allington, best acclaimed scientist, made it his priority to rebuild and ressurrect this corpse. With the help of a local necromancer, they were able to successfully bring this Arc Angel back to life. There was only one problem... "His chromosomes are incomplete...He needs those missing chromosomes to substain his powers, or he'll just be a mortal..." "Perfect, I know just what to use..." Dr. Allington got his hands on demon and extracted his blood. With this blood, he was able to mend the angel's broken DNA. What will happen now? What happens when an angel and demon are mixed? ~~~~~~~~~~~~ Sign-up Name: Age: Gender: (Angels and Demons are nuetral, but you can take the appearance of male or female) Species: (Angel, Demon, or human) Appearance: Side: (Heaven or Hell) Powers: (This can include your weapon, if you have one.) Yes, Azrael is an author. He keeps an ancient, delapitated leather-bound book close to his chest. Within this mystical book is centuries of names written and scratched. However, this is no ordinary diary or journal, no..This book has the power to wipe out the person or object that Azrael writes down. His sword becomes the quill, the blood flows gracefully along the paper as he delicately scribbles. As he erases, the words of the person or object literally jump off of the page and scream at the person in target. The blood lines and characters turn into soaring blades, slicing the victim into minced meat. Wings- Simply put, Azrael's wings are a dangerous weapon(s). Thanks to Dr. Allington and his advanced technology, Azrael's wings harbor many modernized weapons such as flame throwers, 50 cal installments, heat-seaking missiles, electrifying webbing (the space between). If a person is caught in this field of electricity, they vaporize into oblivion. Blade of Persona- This is Azrael's prized possession, a four foot long jagged blade made of an ancient metal soaked in millions of angel's blood. All angels and humans alike have different personalities, different views, different attitudes, different blood, so on and so forth. Mixing these varieties of bloods and personalities can be dangerous, especially when one uses it for a weapon or tool. The strong, titanium metal was forged in compliance with this strange mix of bloods, giving the blade a metallic red color. Depending on the opponent, the blade glows and uses a matching personality trait to attack. If the opponent is greedy, the blade will sense this and use the opponent's weakness, greed, against them. And depending on how badly the person greeds or lusts or whatever the case may be, depends on how badly the blade will burn, or so to speak. On the first stabbing or severing, the opponents blood is absorbed into the blade. It, the blood, is then turned into a deadly poison. On the second attack, the opponent's poisoned blood is returned to them, sending them into severe convulsions and a state of mental confusion, rendering them from making coherent decisions and attacks. On the third and final attack, Azrael delivers a powerful blow, dismembering the opponent into pieces with their weakness. Personality: Confused, unsure of what is going on. Azrael is strong and powerful, yet he has no idea just how powerful he has become. He is depressed, lonely, dark, and always keeps an air of mystery and wonder. His soul is being split in two; Is he Angel, or Demon? This is the question he constantly asks and does not get any answers. His feelings about himself are scrambled and he is very unstable. Biography- The dawn of Heaven. God blessed this wonderous place with Angels. He assigned Angels to several choirs and denominations. Each had their own and deliberate purpose. Metatron, Sandalphon, Michael, Gabriel, Uriel, Celestial, all highest ranking of Angels. They became the first to be called "Arc Angels". All of the rest were just known as Angels. However, there was one more. One more who stood out from all of the choirs. He was the black sheep, he never quite fit in with any of the denominations. His name, Azrael. God knew Azrael had a dark side to him. He was always alone, never to associate with the rest of the Angels. All except a select few. Of course, these rare assoicates were just as Azrael, dark and mysterious. Although they stayed together, Azrael seemed to be alone. One day, a fellow Arc Angel lost his mind. He grew insane with rage at God and went to Azrael for help in accomplicing him in an assassination. Azrael refused and went to God to warn him. It was too late, this fallen angel was already carrying out his assassination. But to his dismay, Azrael put a blunt stop to his lustful desire to murder God. Azrael slaughtered this fallen angel, Lucifer. Unfortunately, Lucifer did not die. Instead, God condemned him and cast him out of the Heavens. Several angels followed Lucifer under Azrael's blade, saving the Heavens many a time. For his bravery and loyalty, God declared Azrael as the Arc Angel of Death. Thousands of years passed, Azrael served God faithfully. Until the war. That war, called the Great Fall, changed Azrael for all eternity. Heaven was a shattered glass ball. Demons flooded the Pearly Gates, slaughtering and maiming angels as if they were flies. Lucifer raged through paradise and challenged God. Azrael, Commander of the Angelic Army, charged triumphantly through the evils of Hell. By the time he reached God, Lucifer was already there, along with thousands of possessed angels. Naturally, Azrael defended God and chased Lucifer out of Heaven, but the rebellious angels remained. Azrael knew these angels could be saved, but God would not hear of it. He condemned them from Heaven, forbode them from Earth, and denied them the mercy to enter Hell. They became the "non-existant". He never even gave them a chance for forgiveness. This infuriated Azrael. He realized at that moment how unjust this God of his could be, and he was betrayed. He questioned God's authority and defied him. Azrael lost all faith in God, in Heaven, and even in Angels of all rank. He even lost faith in himself. How could he be an angel of God if the God he served was unjust and merciless? He betrayed Azrael and all Angels by showing no act to forgive the forsaken. Azrael could not live in this shame and fled Heaven to join sides with Lucifer in his continuing battle against Heaven and all its "glory". This is all that has been recorded.

"You want me to bite you?" Yelena bluntly replied. "Yes, it's the only way we can still be together after everything is said and done," Lex clutched Yelena's hand. "Lex..do you know of what you ask? Immortality is not some prize. It's a curse, a curse to survive throughout the centuries. To watch everyone around you grow old and die. To have to hide away from society for they will torture you..." Yelena looked pleadingly at Lex. "I don't care about that. As long as I can be with you, to take care of you for the rest of eternity," Lex brought Yelena's hand to his face. Yelena sighed and slowly stood up. Lex held her, laying his cheek against her stomach. "Please, Yelena.." She looked over to the priest. He nodded in approval, but Yelena shook her head. Lex looked up with soft eyes, a look Yelena had never seen before. He sat back and pulled his hair from his neck, exposing pale flesh and lightly blued veins. Yelena brought her hands to her face, trying to control herself. "Lex..don't do this.." Yelena begged, her fangs begining to bare. He just stood up and walked towards her, backing her against the wall. Yelena's heart began to race, her cold blood began to boil. Lex leaned in and kissed Yelena's neck, revealing his even more. "Please, Yelena.." Yelena sobbed, she knew if she bit him, everything that she was would pass through him, causing him great pain. She also knew that Lex was true about his feelings. He would give his life for her if he knew that she would be fine for the rest of her life. "You won't be alone anymore, Yelena. Not now, not ever," Lex ran his hand up her stomach. This was true as well. For years, Yelena had longed to be mortal, just so she wouldn't be left alone when all of her loved ones were gone. She hated being alone, and was tired of it. She sighed heavily and nodded. "Don't say I didn't warn you," Yelena pushed Lex backwards, back onto the pew. The priest smiled and left the two alone. Yelena sat on Lex's lap and brushed his hair away from his neck. She leaned over and traced his vein with her fangs before biting down. The razor sharp teeth slowly pierced flesh, the metalic sweet and salty liquid rushed over her tongue. Lex gasped sharply and held onto Yelena. After a few more seconds, Yelena let go and sat up. "Now, Lex Van'Artial, live the life of the damned."

It was cold, cold and damp. Her lips trembled in subsiding pain and the harsh drop of body temperature. Her eyes flickered open, slowly gaining a clear image of her surroundings. Voices sounded as murmmers slipping into a gaggle of whispers. "L...Lex?" Yelena pushed herself to her elbows. Her dark hair fell over her shoulders, weighed from being soaked to her skin. "Yelena! What are you doing sitting up?" Lex jumped down from the altar and walked over to Yelena. "I'm starting to feel..better, really.." she smiled weakly. "How bad was it this time?" Lex asked sympathetically, brushing strands of wet hair from her lips. "Oh..not that bad," Yelena looked away. She was lying, it was worse than ever. And each episode wasn't getting any better. "Liar," Lex shook his head, "Yelena, why does this happen? And why now?" Yelena looked to Lex with fear, for the first time since she could remember, these past few months have been the only time she could feel and show fear. But only to Lex. He, he was the only person, mortal, being, that Yelena had ever shown emotion to. "I don't know why...maybe it's because the memories are finally starting to come back to me. Everything that I forgot..everything I pushed away..It's all starting to come back to me," her voice trailed. "Memories? What from?" "My former self...when I was mortal...and my transition to being the creature I am today," she looked away from Lex and stood to look out of the window. "The moon, it shines brightly tonight, Miss Yelena," the priest stood beside her. "That it is, priest,'' Yelena sighed and folded her arms over her chest. "And it does not affect you? Am I mistaking that a full moon is harmful to a Vampire?" Lex stood and watched this interaction, vampire and priest, how odd. Usually, one would assume that priests would condemn the immortal, soulless creature. This vampire was different, she had a soul..and it was all begining to come back to her, agonizingly and slowly. "I'm a different breed of Vampire...." Reaper glanced at the aging priest, her blue eyes flashed of unintentional hate. "What do you want with that crystal? You have the power of immortality, invincibility, immunity, super human strength..." the priest started. "What I intend is none of your concern, old man," Reaper spoke curtly and quietly. She looked to Lex. He raised an eyebrow, making Yelena smile lightly. Why? Why do I feel him? I have not bitten him.....why do I feel your thoughts? Your pain..Your love..

Why am I growing so angry? Is it because of Doll? She's a different kind of vampire...well, I am a different type myself...It has been so long since that time, I'd almost forgotten who I am....Reaper clutched her temples and slowly sank to the cobblestone street. "What's wrong with her?" Charisma whispered to Doll. "I don't know. Ms. Reaper, are you.." Doll started, offering a hand. "Don't touch me! Get away! Please!" Reaper scampered back, away from the confused crowd. "Reaper?" Thyme quirked an eyebrow. The Russian lay in a puddle in a pain she had long since forgotten. Terrible agony pulsated throughout her body, paralyzing even her lips. She lay clasping her stomach, coughing. "No...not now...They torment me.." she sobbed, "...Lex..." The group stood dumbfounded. Not knowing what to think. Here was Reaper, a threat at first, now lying on the ground, helpless and crying and calling out for someone. "Lex.....it hurts..."

"You filthy creature. Your lies will fool them," a smooth, thick voice echoed in darkness. "Who goes there...now?" Skyler growled, clearly annoyed. "Yeah, you dare to insult me? I'd like to see a face to that remark," Thyme squinted her eyes in hopes to find the owner of the Russian accent. "You wish to see my face, do you child? Well, I will warn you now. It will be the last thing you will see," the voice grew closer and deeper. The group glanced around. A couple of them arming themselves. A distinct click-clack of slow striding footsteps shattered the dark stainglass of silence. Doll looked towards an alleyway to see a slender figure tapping a blade against her thigh. "You," Doll pointed. " 'You'? That was rather rude, and pointing really pisses me off. I suggest if you wish to keep your life you will keep your mouth shut until spoken to," the woman flipped the blade in her hand. The moonlight glistened on the sleek metal, creating a relfection across a pair of piercing, crystal blue eyes. A pair of full lips curled into a cat-like smirk. Although the smirk danced, her eyes were empty and cold. "Well, what is your name?" Doll smiled lightly and politely. "I'm known as Reaper."

Despite what the title to this thread "implies", I'm not asking for an X-rated banner/avi. No, I'm here to ask for a banner and matching avi of a manga called xXx-Holic. I just bought the first book today and I'm already hooked. Plus, I love the artwork. So, I'll supply you with the pic, you make the banner/avi. xXx-Holic Okay, now for the specifics. You see how they have close-ups of the hands, I want my banner to do that. A collauge (sp?) of that picture. No font. The avi..hm..I guess of the woman's hand and chain. We'll see what you guys come up with. Have at it..
25. >.> Looks like I'm the lucky contestant. Syprus looked curiously at Elleina. She sighed and folded her fragile arms over her chest. "Yeah, sure, whatever," she brushed back her hair, "Just a warning, don't get on my bad side." "Then it is settled!" Syprus jumped with gayous joy. Elleina rolled her eyes and looked over at Torisen. "So, where now?" Stef questioned, slightly annoyed. "Wherever crime thrives!!" Syprus threw his hands on his hips. "Right..." Stef cocked an eyebrow. At that precise moment, a squeal of terror rang out in the small town. The four turned, readying themselves for a fight. "What ist going on?" Syprus clutched his bow. "I don't know, but I'm going to go find out," Elleina grabbed her katana and lept into the air. She ended up in town square where a crowd of townsfolk had gathered. She walked into the center to find a bloodied body sprawled out on the cobblestone street. "What happened here?" Elleina asked an olderly woman. "He was murdered! Murdered I tells ya!" "Did you see the killer?" Elleina asked colder and emotionless. "No, I didn't. But this is the mayor's son...such a sweet boy." Elleina studied the body of the young man. He was handsome, for a mortal. But he held the appearance of arrogance. Elleina grunted and stood up. The others finally showed and were slightly taken by the scene. "He's the mayor's son. I'm sure we'll be able to profit from this event," Elleina walked up to Stef. "Profiting from this unfortunate death?! How dare you!" the elderly woman nearly popped a vein. "Shut it, hag. His greed would have killed him soon enough," Elleina spat. "Hm, sounds good to me," Stef nodded. "Well?" Elleina looked at Torisen and Syprus.
