I do not like MySpace much anymore because I had a guy I never knew message me and tell me he thought I was hot and wanted to have sex with me. I'd rather deal with obsessed DBZ fans than those kind of people anyday.
That's why there's a "block user" option. I really don't mind MySpace, until something gets screwed up in the coding and it dicks everything up. *shrug* Other than that, it's a pretty nifty site. I was able to get back in touch with friends who I hadn't spoken with in over four years.

Writing The Bikini Bandits Strike Back! [M-L, likely sexual innuendos]
Annie replied to Annie's topic in Creative Works
Sorry to burst your bubbles people, but obviously after two months, I'm not continuing. My reasons are my own, and I'm not compelled to write anymore. -
Way to lay it on Athena. But in any case, even if it was just a "lame" excuse for getting attention, I can't help but.. well, help. My ears, or in this case eyes, are always open for people to confide in. In my opinion, the world do a whole lot better if people were willing to give a helping hand whether it is need or not. I'm not disagreeing with you in any way, I feel the same as you. But. The way I was brought up and the teachings I've learned, I can't help but pity Kaise.
You'll soon find out. I feel sorry for the people who try to help the helpless. So, with that, good luck.

It's worthless and a waste of time to help this guy. I remember a while back about him running away, and it's just a fruitless battle. Every post has some other contradiction of terms on the situation, or suddenly the story changes. How can anyone take him seriously? So, go ahead, try to give him advice. We all know the best way to get "revenge" is to get the F--K over it, find someone else you can devote all your love and affection and be completely happy with. In time, the other partner will realize what a dick they were, and will try to resolve things. But I'm sure Kaise here will come back with some other lame "But this that this that".

For the record, I buy much of my clothing from thrift stores, though I'm sure at least some of it must have been made via some form of unsavory labor.
Hells yes! Salvation Army rocks the house. There's some amazing stuff in there.. Anyway, of course it's not right to make children work under the conditions in which they might encounter. Sadly, there's nothing much one can do about it. Unless you want to wait for America to go charging in to save the day..again. Child labor is something that's been around for ages, but thankfully, it's been cracked down on more today than 100 years ago.

I'd search for Waldo. I mean, seriously, I have the hardest time finding him in those stupid books.
Taste of Chaos. I was sitting awaiting for the doors to be opened, and every so often this person would walk past who was quite tall and lanky, but...looked female. The hair, the glasses, the hood being up covering 'his' face. Me and my friend just sat there in sheer confusement.
That's what me and my friends, and most everyone I know, will call "emo".
Though, having a ponytail, I have been mistaken for a girl a couple times when someone has only seen me from the back. But then they usually get this awkward look on their face when I turn around, which is funny. Messing with people is fun. ^_^
I can imagine, haha. You're like this one type of dog. They're called Afghan hounds, and they look like women if you see them from a backside vew when they're sitting in a seat of a car. ^Des as an Afghan hound, all coked up on coffee and not having a good run of missions with n00b GWers.

I just saw this movie last night, and rather enjoyed it. I must say the brothers did a fairly good job. However, since it was a movie by "the brothers", I was expecting a bit more....I'm not exactly sure what I was expecting, but I wasn't disappointed. I loved V. He was both sinister and humorous at the same time. I liked Evey, as well. I think Natalie did a very good job in this movie. I hated her in the Star Wars sagas.....but this movie rectified my disappointment. HOWEVER, I think my only complaint with her is the accent. It just sounded too fake; too forced, you know? Anyway, V for Vendetta is worth seeing. If you haven't, you should.

Since I recently cut my hair, I've been mistaken for a dude. It doesn't help that I dress sort of tomboy-ish, either. And I have banned myself from wearing a baseball cap until my hair grows out some more---because I totally look like a guy. Is it wrong of me to think that I'm a pretty good looking guy?

Personally, I love the feeling of a brand spanking new pair of socks. They're so squishy and cushiony. They fit snuggly around my foot and make me all happy. I prefer crew socks, honestly. I can't stand ankle socks because they seem to make their way down into my shoe, and under my foot. It's irritating.

Agreed, mos def. Especially, if you know the guy isn't really the most "showing of emotions" person. Just a simple little phrase like Sara mentioned definitely means so much.
-
I've had a couple of guys tell me "I love you, more than anything.". However, only one guy has ever convinced me that he really did/does love me. Something along the lines of (the sentence is a condensed conversation): "No matter what you choose to believe or not to believe, just know that I did--NO, I do love you. Always will."

I happen to believe in ghosts/spirits. I was watching this special on the Travel Channel one night which featured the most haunted places in the US and such. One house was haunted by the woman's husband. Though, it wasn't frightening; it was said that he was actually waiting for her, his love. The children were at their mother's bedside as she was dying. And they reported that they saw their father's ghost standing in the door way. The mother smiled at him, and held her arms out to reach for him. He then disappeared, and she passed away. Days after, the children reported they saw their parent's ghosts walking along their courtyard....hand in hand. Other witnesses that had lived in the house over the next several years reported the same sightings. Love conquers death. I believe that. Does it make one immortal? I suppose in this case, yes.
There's no reason to bite people's heads off because you voted for crappy people, Roxie. Calm down.
'nough said. I'll stop there before I really get uptight.
Now that you mention quotes sweet-pea, I'm quoting for having nominated Lady K, something I am nearly certain I didn't do. [Go to check his Nominations list]. Yep certain, so someone isn't getting their due credit, so if someone wants to fix that, for the sake of accuracy...
Who quoted the same nomination doesn't matter. Everyone's votes counted. That's my point. For the sake of accuracy, if quotes were wrong, oh well. It was a simple mistake. But, in regards to "Oh, my vote doesn't count"; that's wrong, it did make a difference in the final 50. That's all I'm saying.
-
But anyway, THANKS GUYS, MY VOTES TOTALLY DIDN'T COUNT!! Considering that the only people that I nominated that won were Retribution (YESS!), Ken (Deathknight), Solo (yeah well, he BETTER have been on there), and Corey (I love youuu!!). ;P *laughs*
Your votes, plus everyone elses DID count. I personally sifted through everyone's posts to help gather the final 50. Just because you weren't quoted doesn't mean it didn't count. So, simmer down.

Firstly, kudos to you for using the John 5 avi (I made that one ^_^). Secondly, here's the banner. It's simple, nothing all spectacular or whatever, so if you don't want to use it, I completely understand. I also put it in an attachment if for some reason it gets deleted from my photobucket account.

If you were a professional, I don't see why you couldn't give yourself a piercing :p But, yes..if you aren't, it's better to go to a professional. Not only for infection risks, but also because you could damage very important nerves. For instance, in your eyebrow, if you puncture a certain nerve, you could paralyze your face. I've never wanted a belly piercing or an eyebrow piercing. I thought about getting a labret, but decided no. Then I wanted a nose piercing, and it's still on the mind. But I really wanted to get a nipple piercing [ouch, I know]. That also is still in thought. However, I can't get any piercings until I get out of the military.

Des, marry me. Right now. No tuxedo, just the tights will do. Sorry for that, it was random/off topic...but was it uncalled for? ^_~

Strangest thing you've ever done to get someone to like you
Annie replied to ChibiHorsewoman's topic in General Discussion
On a side note, your fonts get crazier and crazier each time. Not that I don't mind the style, but if you're going to continue using it, could you size it up one or two because it's very small on my screen, and it's hard to read. Great choice, though, hun ^_^ Well, I have this thing where I don't really do anything to get people to like me. If they do, then awesome for me. If people don't like me for the things I normally do, or do out of the "spur of the moment", then F them. I get along with pretty much anyone. Well.........wait. If taking a shower daily is something that I do to get people to like me, then that's what I do. I take showers, baths..oh, and brush my teeth. Edit- Err...hopefully, to many people, taking showers isn't strange. But for the continuity of this thread, I'll just say I take showers/baths in strange ways. Like...with the lights off? Or..while still in my clothes (only when I need to do laundry)--You know, kill two birds with one stone. :p ...of course, you guys know that I'm kidding. Or am I? Edit 2- Thank you, Chibi-chan. -
Firstly, holy crap this page is all messed up, lol. Secondly, HOLY **** the Nifty Fifty looks so ******* sexy! Wow...I was not expecting something that extravagant. Jesus.. I'm practically breathless. I'm honoured that I made it to the final listing, and I congratulate everyone else who made it, as well. But most of all, I would like to thank everyone for their effort, and all of your incredible nominations.Without everyone's "two cents", this year's Fifty would've been very rough. It was a great round; so many new people and new staff members. It was fun. And with all the changes that are happening currently, and are scheduled to happen this year, I can only imagine how next year's Fifty is going to look. Oh, and one more shout out. Thank you, Shy babe, for allowing me to help again this year. It was a great pleasure and privilege. Edit- Yay! All fixed.

Well, that's all well and good....but nothing really told me why it wasn't released in the States until now. I may have over-read something, but I still don't understand why it's a '04 movie but is just now being released here.
At first I didn't really understand it, until I saw the little title under your name, very clever!! However, I am a little bummed that there's no picture :animedepr I'll give it a 7/10 for it's simplicity
