sorry razzamataz, i meant abilities(had trouble articulating my words that night). Actually Desbreko, the rat tail is used in getting the excalibur. you did get the location stuff right...i think. for the answer, i'd really prefer the name of the item(it's a tail item) and the monster you get it from(the names of both are related). does anyone know?

no, that doesn't sound that stupid. we should both take drix's advice and just go for it. i might end up burning some of my savings, but in the long run i'd be better off at least trying to get a date, instead of just acting like a wuss and not going. thanks for all the replies

well, its homecoming season yet again. time for homecoming dances/carnivals/parades. i'm especially frustrated this year. I'm a junior, and i feel i need to go to the dance. all my friends have dates or people they want to ask, and i haven't even thought it about it till now. the dance is in two weeks, and i think i know a person(or two) i could ask, but i dont know if she'll say "yes, i actually was hoping you'd ask" or "no, get away from me you sick freak!" anybody else feeling the blues?

black phoenix is right. also in outbreak, you can [spoiler]meet the ghosts of the .hack//sign characters. you cant recruit them, but you can talk to them and get more rare weapons like bt's wand, silver knights sword, and tsukasa's rod. talking to them also gives you a butt-load of silver and golden grunty books.[/spoiler] in order to talk to any of these, you must see all four vignettes in .hack//mutation. watching these scenes gets you four rare items that enable you to do this when you convert your data over.

maybe i'm just making a completely incorect guess here, but could mireille be mistral(from the games). i just got outbreak, and mistral says in the beginning that [spoiler]shes a housewife with a baby on the way[/spoiler], but that couldn't keep her from changing her screen name after the dot hack incidents and continuing to play, right? anyway, the manga rocks. its actually my first, and i really liked it. the art style was perfect for this combo of action and comedy.

has anyone seen how many times this game has been delayed? my friend and i, who wanted this game immediately after we heard about it 2 years ago, keep on seeing it get delayed month after month. when will this end?
