It's so tiny! It's like an anorexic PS2. XD What Sony should really do is make the PS2's in different colors... I'd like a red one. ^_^

O_O This is freaky... I had almost the exact same idea a few months ago... o.O Name: Katheryn Thomas (most people know her as "Kittie") Age: 18 Gender: female Personality: spunky, outgoing, open-minded, flirty (but tends to have a short fuse) Hobbies: singing/karaoke, eating ice cream, wearing elaborate costumes Favourite Anime: Gravitation ^_^ Cosplay Character: Noriko Ukai Cosplay Character sign up- Name: Noriko Ukai Gender: female Age: 28 Quirks: Uh... She was formerly in the band Nittle Grasper, with her friends Tohma Seguchi and Ryuichi Sakuma.

Yoko Kanno is my goddess. I borrowed the first Cowboy Bebop cd from my friend and I LOVE IT. Sadly it doesn't have Green Bird on it, which is probably my favorite Bebop song. It's just so pretty... I'm listening to the Wolf's Rain soundtrack right now, though I can't say much for it. The music in Miyazaki's movies is just amazing. I also love the music in Final Fantasy X-2. It's so hard to choose a favorite... Oh yeah, and Duvet from Lain. Maybe my favorite is Every Heart from InuYasha...

I recently became Dead Alice, and haven't really done anything to my avatar or banner/signature... If someone could help with my gothic Alice in Wonderland theme, it would be greatly appreciated. ^_^ (I could also use suggestions for my sig...)

OOC: Someone needs to slap me until I post... ~~~ Kurumi glared at Yuka's dazed form, mumbling "I am not fat." Amaya sighed. "Don't mind her. She's still a child, after all." She almost flinched out of instinct, as if Yuka had hit her for that comment. "What are we gonna do about the table?" asked Katana. "...tell them Yuka broke it," they said in unison. "I wonder where the others are," said Kurumi. "No idea," said Amaya. "Hopefully Kit, Kaz and Yuki will find us..." ~~~ I'm out of ideas...

Thanks for your comments, guys. ^_^ Here's her poem: "Dying Doll" She dreamed of life on puppet strings Her heart a brittle thread And though she bore no human flesh Her fragile soul soon bled Screaming hatred then became Her frozen lips? remorse For body mortal though unsewn She chose the reaper?s course Toys of deadly favor won The sheathing at her side And so she set her path for where Unfaithful children hide Images of horror played Within the children?s heads As death was brought in painful waves And life flowed through her threads I'm going to my mom's house, so I probably won't be able to go online for a week.

Yes Lix, I do love bunnies. ^_^ (interesting name BTW...) Ah, I think I shall post another of my recent favorites... It's rather demented... oO I also have a poem to go with her, if anyone cares to read it. She's basically a homicidal ragdoll. ^^;

Anime Shows/Movies with the Best/Worst Animation
Dead Alice replied to EVA Unit 100's topic in Otaku Central
I'm also a huge Miyazaki fan, but I have to say my favorite of his films is Castle in the Sky. Everything about it is breathtaking. I made my brother watch it so he could experience the beautiful design of Laputa. Princess Mononoke and Spirited Away are, of course, not to be forgotten either. Unfortunately I have yet to see Nausicaa. For shows, I agree about FLCL. For being such a strange and unique (not to mention short) anime, the animation is extremely well done. The characters are so vibrant. Soul Taker is another favorite. Samurai X the Movie had some awesome action sequences. (blooooodd...) For bad animation... I'd have to say Dragon Ball/Z/GT also. I'm just so tired of the entire series... I can't really think of any that were really bad... Well, X/1999 was rather poorly done, and Demon City Shinjuku is just horrible. (and the main character in DCS says f--- in about every sentence...) -
I live in West Michigan (lower peninsula), where the majority of people are strange mixes of redneck. ^^; I like it here though; the weather is nice (most of the time) and we have beautiful forests/wildlife. I'll be a high school sophomore this year. I'm most likely going to study some form of art or graphic design in the future. I love music-I'll be in my 4th year of choir. I want to learn piano, but we probably can't afford lessons, and our piano is so out of tune it's painful to listen to. Of course I love anime and video games, which most of my family considers "stupid" (to put it bluntly). I also love writing poetry and short stories. If I get my hands on a good book, I'll read for hours. I don't have a job yet (and I haven't taken driver's training), but I'll babysit if I can. Oh yeah! I'm also taking French. ^_^ I get to take a trip to Paris and Madrid (Spain) next year!! Oh, the place you're most likely to find me on OB is random. I like a good RPG when I can find one, but most of the time I'm just hanging around... And I love Alice in Wonderland. ^^;

I hate poetry.com. I've gotten tons of those notices. If you want a nice site that will feature your poetry and actually let others comment on it (and not scam you), try creative-poems.com. (and it's free!)

OMG, I love you guys. :eek: You're some of the only people who have actually given me real constructive criticism. THANK YOU. Sorry about the group pic... I started one a few weeks ago, but I gave up on it because it just sucked. I should try again, but I need to find a more interesting way to fit everyone in the picture. I do kinda have trouble with proportions, but I try to use guidelines. Maybe I should color the Miho pic.. I know I'll draw her again anyway. ^_~ I thought Suki-chan's eyes were cute... ;_; (yes I named her n.n;; ) I think I was trying to make her chibi, that's why it looks weird. I think I'll leave out the dark line inside her eye next time though; it scares me... I love the third one too... I drew it back in May though, so maybe that's why her face is off. (I think her chest is too big...) I might redraw that one later... Female Hiei?? Now THAT's weird... :lol: I can't help it; I love bunnies and I love...bondage... *COUGH* Yeah, anyway... BTW Kat, you can just call me Kuri. ^^; And "badjesus"-...argh. Leave my thread alone. *shakes fist* SOOO... Now for something else... A design I made (my logo), and my "Ghetto Bunny". Enjoy!

Thank you, Syk3. I'd like someone to actually comment on my art... v.v;; I might as well put up one of my favorites...
-
Erm... I guess I could take that as a compliment. ^^; I'll put something up I did today (or...yesterday). It's a little angel I drew for my mom. Ain't she cute? ^^

Why not just do what I do: highlight and copy your post to the clipboard so you can re-post it if gets lost. It's very convenient.

Hello all... I've finally decided to post some stuff up out of boredom. First I'll put up a sketch I did a few hours ago. It's Miho from MegaTokyo. I used my graphic novel for reference, and I'm hoping it looks ok. Please comment, and let me know if you want to see more. ^_^ ~Chaos~

This is quite nifty. The colors look nice, and it seems very well done. I like the mirror/ink blot effect. I'd give it a 9.

If the ending is "Jokopoko: Moo" (which is kind of...odd) then I got the whole thing. Very clever. I like how the mini-DW writes "our world". (I also went to properties and pasted the link. It came up as a red X.)

Name: Jane McFarland (nicknames ?Rags? and ?Janie?) Age: 17 Agenda: female Weapons: small curved sword; dagger kept in her boot; carries several small tools for lock-picking Appearance: Janie is fairly tall and has a boyish figure. Her right eye is a golden brown color, and she wears a red bandana over what used to be her left eye. (I?m a sucker for eye patches.) She has mid-back length, very dark brown wavy hair that is often tied in a side-ponytail. She usually wears a white button blouse with very long sleeves, occasionally with a vest. Her trousers are dark red and baggy, tucked into her black boots and held up with several ornamental-looking belts and sashes. Personality: Janie is most often described as a tomboy. She would rather work than shop for petticoats, and prefers a mug of ale to a cup of tea any day. She can seem to have a rotten attitude at times, but will become a good friend and helpful ally if you earn her trust. Some say she has a soft side, but it has yet to be shown. Possessions: weapons; a comfortable and durable cloak; a silver compass made by her father Bio: Jane was born to middle-class parents in the heart of England. Her father was a blacksmith, and her mother was the epitome of ladylike mannerisms and charm. Jane grew up with a great respect for her father, but was left alone with her mother when he passed away. She was expected to be polite and follow in her mother?s footsteps, but this she would not stand for. With a hand-crafted trinket as a memory to her father?s existence, Jane left England in search of adventure. She soon took interest in a group of traveling smugglers, and thus was born her life of piracy. Over time, Jane developed the nickname ?Rags? for her taste in clothing, and a reputation among respected women as a disgraceful mockery of their gender. Jane cared nothing for their remarks and continued her life among thieves, hoping to gain trust worthy of her father. She lost her left eye in a brutal fight in a tavern of drunkards. (Funny how well one writes at 2 in the morning?)

Does anyone even watch this anymore? I'm hoping so, because it's my favorite non-animated show ever. If anyone is willing, I'd like an avatar and banner with either Will or Jack on it. I'd like the banner to say "welcome to the chaos." or something like that... If you can make it more creative, be my guest. ^_^

I have yet to go to a con, but you can't forget Halloween! I love dressing up. I think the easiest person for me to cosplay as would be Kenshin. My grandma made me a pair of white hakama and a red gi, and I have a katana. All I'd have to do is dye my hair orange, paint a scar on my face and wear my gi really lose so no one could see my chest. ^^;; I'd also love to cosplay as Miho from MegaTokyo, but her hair alone would be very hard to duplicate.

Art Rate the Sig and avatar of the member above you.
Dead Alice replied to Burori's topic in Creative Works
Ahh Megaman. (that is Megaman right? I'm dumb) Nice matching avatar and banner, but the words below don't seem to really compliment your signature. Maybe try a different approach, like making the letters all one color and putting them to one side. Just a suggestion. ^_^ -
Welcome to OB. ^_^ I hope you've read the rules and stuff. Thanks for putting a little thought into your post. (why am I acting like a mod...?) Hmm, if I could stalk anyone... it'd probably be Orlando Bloom. I know, I know, he has a million fangirls. I can't help it, he's just so hot! ^^; Or maybe I'd stalk Dante from DMC. (he's hot too) Then again, he'd probably kill me... If I could stalk someone other than because they're hot, maybe Hayao Miyazaki. His movies are very inspirational to me, and I adore him.

Try looking at the Anime Web Turnpike. You can find links to just about anything there. ^_^ (I usually prefer written descriptions myself, however...)

OOC: *bows* Gomen nasai minna-san, I've been bad with posts lately. Welcome back Wasabi! ^_^ Though, your post confused me...oO ~~~ "Nee... that was freaky," Amaya said to herself as she stepped inside the dojo. "What was freaky?" asked Sano, appearing with his trademark fishbone. "Just Katana and Yuka," she said simply. Sano nodded understandably. "Well, I'm off to find Katsu," he said, walking to the door. "He owes me a lot of money from gambling..." "Say hi to him for me!" said Amaya. Sano chuckled, and left. Amaya wandered through the house and stumbled upon her pulverized-looking boyfriend. "Kit? What happened?" she asked, bending down to look at him. Kit gave a royal twitch and sat up, rubbing his bruised eye. "Katana and Yuka happened." "Really? They scared me away with their evil smirks," she sighed. Kit stood up painfully. "I was going to ask them for help with my plan for Kaz and Kurumi, but unfortunately I said the wrong thing and got whacked in the face." "Aww, some ice will help that," said Amaya in a motherly tone. She led him to the kitchen where the icebox was. "Thanks..." "Hey, you know what might be fun? A trip to the hot springs!" ~~~ Dun dun dunn... Lol, I've been reading Love Hina. :P (the "royal twitch" thing was made up by my best friend XD)

OOC: Sorry if I haven't posted much lately. ~~ "I can help cook!" said Katana, Kaoru and Yuki all at once. They glared at each other. "Umm... Well Miss Katana helped last time that she did," said Kenshin meekly. Katana huffed. "Whatever. It's not like those two can make anything decent anyway." The last part of her sentence was said so quietly that no one but Kenshin could hear it. Amaya scooted closer to Kit and whispered in his ear. "Looks like Kurumi's got a crush..." Kit snorted. "Yeah, maybe it'll take her mind off of b*tchin' at me..." Amaya elbowed him. "I think it's cute!" "What's cute?" said Kaz, appearing behind them. Amaya sweatdropped. ~~~ Wow my mind just went blank. x_x
