I have put together quite a life of doing stupid things. People just kind of expect it from me now. Most of mine come from the fact that i will speak my mind, and it usually clashed with those around me. Mostly I think I am smarter than I actually am, and then I am proven wrong about something I was adamant about.

Metta was the first to break her stare. "We should put our thoughts together for the meeting tomorrw, you know, the one that you're suppose to lead." "I know what I want to say." "That doesn't mean that's what will come out of your mouth tomorrow night. I think we should make notes." "You know, for someone who never went to school, you're very studious. It's really knid of annoying. Don't you ever have any fun? Ya know, do things that are unexpected or dangerous?" "Living on the street with a dog and being able to kill people with flames that burst out of my hands and staff isn't dangerous enough for you??" Metta gave him a cold look. "How about moving from town to town because the people there are tired of helping to feed you, but they wont give you any work because you're 'the homeless wandering girl'? Rue brings alonmg a bit of trouble too. People don't trust me because of him. It doesn't matter what he does, he is just hated everywhere we go. Animal control is always after him too. Live is too complicated to be anything but purely logical whenever possible. There is no time for frivoloity." Garm looked as though she slapped him. "I had no idea how things were for you, Metta. Why don't you just stay here. Sel would love it, I know." "Selenay may love it, but I do not want to be a burden on her mother. After her father left it was not eay for her mother to keep up their standard of living. I also do not like to be tied down. I do not like being run out of town, but I hate not being able to go if I want to." "I think it would be good if you stayed." Garm gave her a sly half grin. " I think we should make notes for the meeting." Metta returned his grin and then went to get a notebook.

I like the first couple of episodes, but it lost its luster for me during the middle. It seemed really redundant, and then they would kill everyone I liked. I don't like the animation for that one much either. I also thought that Yuji became annoying towards the end
when his B-cells were taking over.
I also thought the concept was off too, I mean,
the Earth was tired of people, so It wnted to kill them all? Does the Earth really have a conscious mind? and, why not just get rid of them with a viral outbreak or sickness or something?
I know that wouldn't have made much of a show, but, this one's not great either. This one has a strong beginning, but, in my opinion, it went south for me.

Rainbow Brite rocked all things, great and small! I loved to watch the show. I loved the horse, though I forget his name now. I watched my VHS everyday, usually twice. Hey, XxmagentaxX, you forgot Canary Yellow!! I thought Lurky was the cutest, actually... After watching that tape I would usually get out the Care Bears Movie or the Strawberry Shortcake movie...ah, childhood, where have you gone?

My two favorite scents are rain and winter. Real rain, not candles that say they smell like it. Rain on a summer's day, the thought make me smile. Winter does too have a smell, I heard all of you say, "What??" That crispy fresh smell of cold. It you don't know what I am talking about, I pity you. It is just really fresh and clean,

I used to have all the My Little Ponies, and my older brother had a lot of the original Star Wars action figures. We usaed to play together. Jaba the Hut would always kidnap my ponies and try to take over their castle...Luke would always seem to sav e them though.

Metta didn't know what to do. She was lying on Selenay's bed when Tara knocked. "He's thickheaded, Metta." "I don't know what you are talking about." "Sure you don't. Just like Sel doesn't know what you mean when you talk about her male harem..." "There's no point, Tara. Any feelings I were to have for him wouldn't be returned, he's too hung up on Selenay." "You should have seen his face turn red when you touched Godric's arm, stuck on Selenay..." "He was so thoughtless about the others, he didn't seem worried at all. He was so mean..." "You hurt him first, Metta. He's down on the couch, you know. A little singed, but very confused. I think you should talk to him." "I don't want to, but I should apologize for setting him aflame..." Metta went downstairs to find Garm with his head in the refridgerator. He heard th floorboards squeak and looked up. "What do you want?" "I came to check on Rue." SHe went out to the backyard, and was admonishing herself when Rue licked her hand. Garm had healed him while she was upstairs. Metta turned to go inside, but she ran into Garm instead. "Thank you for helping Rue." "Don't mention it." "I came to apologize. I was just upset and..." "I was rude. I didn't deserve to be set on fire, but I was mean. I am sorry too." The two stared at each other, as if trying to size up what the other knew, as if they were in battle. Tara just smiled at them through the glass door.

I've seen it, who'd have guess... It's alright. Have you ever seen the original?? I think the new one is better, but I still love the end to the first one,
"Help Me! Help ME!"
Goldblum, well it is one of his better performances, but I hate Geena Davis. She's awful, in everything, except maybe Earth Girls Are Easy, she's still bad, but it's in context. This one definitely has all the gros out factor that you mentioned, and you just can't help but feel sorry for
"Brundle-fly" as he starts to refer to himself.
My favorite part, I think, is when he's making the "educational video" I found that part morbidly hilarious.

I actually agree, Semjaza. I think that the old idea of zombies is much scarier. The old zombies that were slow, but relentless. They weren't stopping, no way, no how! I thought the quiet parts were really effective. It's a thinking movie, not just a screamer.

Artemis, my family does that too. When I was growing up, for our birthdays, we could pick whatever meal we wanted to have and our kind of cake. Then we would go to my grandmother's house for the evening. Theat kind of trailed off once I hit 15. Another is that we visit my mother's family on Thanksgiving and my Dad's family at Christmas. Irony: my trying to post in this thread and getting a banned message... Anyway, I was just going to say that AOL must like AJEH better... and that it has only happened to me once since this thread was started, but now it's twice.

It's 28 Days Later, 28 Days is a Sandra Bullock film. This film is one of my top five of the last year. I think it's great. It has a lot of social commentary and is a thinking film. I don't really think it was all that comfusing. I really liked the use of color throughout the film. I also liked that it was shot digitally, and not on film. It really said something about that human spirit, I mean
when Jim wakes up, and the door to his room is locked, but the key is slid under the door. I think it shows that there is decency in the world that some random nurse had taken the time to lock up a coma patient.
There is a lot of irony in it as well. This is a really good movie, you just have to think about deeper things.

I have also tried them all...it doesn't work. Besides, why would Mary, a holy and upright woman, if you study and believe the Bible, haunt you? It's really a ridiculous thought...

My question is why were you watching MTV?? Do they even know what music is anymore?? I don't like Linkin Park, I do love RHCP. Who was #1?

MarkM, do you mean me, or someone else? I am confused as to why you chose to quote that post of mine to make this point? If you're talking about me, I won't say you're wrong, I do enjoy attention, if you're not, I do share the opinion on a certain level. Inuyasha Fandom, things to live for won't just come over and knock on your door. You have to make your life worth living. It's on your shoulders to enjoy things.

r=green]My former post was poorly stated, I guess. I do not condone suicide on any level. I have been left behind to help my friend's mother plan her funeral after she did it. I agree, James, that most people who are actually at that brink are not going around saying, "I think I'll kill myself next week." That's not the way it works. As to thinking it's "cool", this concept is rather ridiculous. Just think of the emotional anguish truly suicidal people feel and the anger and sadness felt by those left behind...There is nothing cool about these things. Life is not the movie "Heathers". Suicide with not get you a layout in the year book. It will make people who never cared about you before think they're sorry you're gone for a week, and it will make the people who actually care nonfunctional with grief and self- blame. My statement before about the people who despise their existence, I see now is a little too encompassing. While I do not retract it, I would like to revise it...What I meant is this: If, as an outsider, watching someone spiral to this point...help make their life worth living. This sounds so trite and childish, and I feel stupid putting that, but it's not a concept that I am very articulate about, no matter how much time I think about it I came to this conclusion during my period of grief dealing with a suicide... She felt there was nothing to live for, and in taking stock of her life, while I didn't agree, I could see why she felt that way. I hated her for it. I really did. The fact that I could almost empathize with her, not that I forgave her, even to this day. It didn't increase any respect I had for her, but it didn't lower my opinion on her either...

Inuyasha_Fandom... I think you should seek professional advice. Your two posts are slightly inconsistant. The first post your seemed frightened by someone else and were just ready to give up trying to avoid him, now it seems slightly like you're ready to send yourself off... Harry-- I agree that suicide is ultimately a selfish act. I don't think that DeathKnight was glorifying suicide. But do not think that a person on the edge is not riddled with guilt with what they may inflict on those who care? Do you really think that it is not a frightening event for them? To say that a person who actually follows through with it does not have some sort of courage...It may not be the same kind of courage as you, the courage to face the world and ability to deal with what it throws you. Isn't it just as selfish of the people around them to make them continue an existence they despise simply for the fact that the crowd may want them around? Maybe they should show that desire while the person is still alive, and he wouldn't want to die

Everyone was wandering the town, investigating and talking to the people. The townsfolk seemed to remember nothing of their imprisonment, and seemed no worse for the wear. THere was a great deal of confusion about the ruined buildings. Toan did not know how to explain these things to his friends. Ungaga was settling down on the edge of the village when Xiao suddenly was next to him. "You like the human, don't you? Well, the wizard told me I must stay with him, so I guess we must travel together as well." "It appears to be so. You keep referring to him as the human, are you not?" Xiao told him the story of how the Wizard changed her and told her to stay with Toan. "I think I will sleep here for the night. We shall meet again in the morning" Ungaga laid down to rest.

I concur, Dagger... I enjoy Inuyasha, but it by no means ranks as a fave for me except in it's romantic writing. Kikyo Is a regal woman of stature and wisdom, and there are qualities that she possesses that Inuyasha is in love with her for. Kagome, while being the reincarnation of Kikyo, has the potential for these qualities, but she is immature and lacks the wisdom and even education of Kikyo. The buds of these are why Inuyasha is drawn to her, but if there is love between them, it will never be fully realized or admitted, because of Kikyo and the fact that Inuyasha's heart and sould belong to her, in her entirety. Only the actual Kikyo will hold his ever lasting love.

Everyone keeps talking about suicide, but if I understand the original post, you are afraid of being murdered. This is rather distressing, really. I do not know you, but I am slightly frightened for you... Things that keep me going?? There isn't much, really...except, what else do I have to do? If I get bored this easily during life, what does eternity hold for me? You may be a, "bad person" you may have hurt people...guess what, me too. I bet we swap trade some stories.... I bet a lot of people here have done things that have hurt someone, although I realize not to the extent that you are alluding to. My point is that this man is an immediate threat to your person, go away, now! Visit some relative on the opposite coast, drive off into the sunset. Are you really that apathetic about yourself and the people around you or the ones that care about you to not try and avoid this? That, my friend is blatant laziness. Not to mention, if he were to succede in this endeavor, you would be silenced, and perhaps he would go free and therefore he could hurt more people in the process. You are obviously not just protecting yourself in the long run. If court procedings are already started and you are obviously, by the post, important to the case, the police and the prosecuting attorney will try and give you protection, approach them about it. Have I given you any food for thought? I hope so, because this is a really long post, and I don't want it to have no point...

I haven't heard much of their stuff, but I've liked what I heard. My boyfriend, however is a die-hard fan. They really donot sound like anybody else, at least not that I've heard anywhere, and that in and of itself is a welcome attribute.

Forgive my computer stupidity... I am not entirely sure what much of that actually means... I am an AOL dial-up, and I am not banned all the time, just sometimes. It is happening more increasingly though. Usually it happens at night, if that makes a difference, night and really early (like 1:30 am)morning. But, yes, it happens with AOl dial-up as well.

I am really tired of seeing the entire movie in the previews. I work in a video store, and now, more often than not, especially with comedies, if someone asks about a ccertain movie, all I have to say is, "Did you see the preview? Yes, then you've seen all the good (or funny) parts." I hate it when I miss the trailers, though. They usually turn out to be the best part of the movie theatre experience for me. I agree, though, that commercials do not belong in the theatre!!! BOO commercials, stay on the TV in the living room where I left you!

Me too. I actually PMed James about it last night. I was not allowed to even view anyhting but the home page and my profile most of the night. It can be rather infuriating.
