It has to be Kaiba and Isis. They are the only one left for the first round. I am wondering the same thing about Yami. Didn't the first time he dueled Evil Bakura, he banished the Spirit of the Ring with his puzzle? Why can't he bring Mai back from the Shadow Realm? As to Kaiba, I am a huge Kaiba fan. He was my favorite character during Duelist Kingdom he seemed to have hidden depth, but in Duelists' City, he's so arrogant and one dimentional. I think I liked him better before his dark side was banished by Yami Yugi.

Here's an older one... The Inheritors. It's rather strange. It's an old German film. It's kind of set in a fuedal system. The landowner dies, and in his will, he leaves all is land to his servants with no specification, just so that they will kill each other. It's a little demented, but I loveit. Also, check out Til Human Voices Wake Us and Rabbitproof Fence I think they are both Australian films, I know Rabbitproof Fence is. I liked them both.

Xai, I love the purple. We'll I'm sorry you can't get it yet. I don't have the funds for it at this time. I have heard all kinds of things about how the monga is different than the anime... I am really curious.

wrist cutter, that's amazing... heh I teach kids to read, or at least I used to before my program lost funding...no I have a corporate retail job that I hate. But I am really proud that I help make the populace more educated.

One of my favorites if when Wakko sang all the state capitals, and the other when Yakko sang a lot of countries, it was really great... But they didn't state them in the form of a question.

Are we all able to communicate telpathically or just some of us? "Are you going back to the woods?" Metta asked Tara. "If it's alright, I think I may just stay with you. This place seems a little frantic for me tonight." "Sure you san stay, but all I have is a floor." Tara was happy to oblige Metta. "I'll just be a few moments," Metta said as she went to Selenay's door. "I'm going with Tara. I don't want her alone in the forest, and you seem to be up to your ears in company." Metta left before Selenay bothered to answer. Rue, Tara and Metta set off wordlessly for Tara's cabin. Metta soon realized that it was silly to worry about Tara being alone, the forest itself seemed to protect her. Besides, any foe should fear Tara's ability with her crystal bow. That meeting was a real fiasco. I don't understand what happened. There were so many things that obviously needed to be discussed, and then that whole ordeal with Selenay and Ares being LOVERS. I just don't follow... Things change so much while I'm gone. "You're thinking about the meeting, huh?" "How could I not be? Was that weird or what? Where's Rue? RUE!! RUE!!!" Metta called to no avail. Suddenly they heard a yelp in the distance. "RUE!!!" Metta ran to find her companion. They came upon him off the trail. He was badly hurt, but not dead. Tara went for help while Metta tried to comfort her friend.

I tutored elementary school kids one year. I tutored this one first grader, he couldn't even recognized letters or recite his alphabet. By the end of the year, with my help, that little boy was reading on a seconcd grade level.

Well, that is exciting. I don't really mean Malik is scary persay. I mean the distortion of his face was intriguing... He is so much more menacing than Pegasus as a villan. Now you have me intrigued as to the Japaneze version of Malik... I wanted to see it before, noe I REALLY want to see it. I don't like the turn they've taken Seto Kaiba this season. He is just so involved with the cards, he seems to have lost all the depth they alluded to in the Duelist's Kingdom. I really want to see what will happen with him if he accepts that he is the wizard incarnation to fight Yami...

Alright, Merick is getting scary, even before Yami Merick takes over. The distortion of his face while he is communicating w/Odian. I think that Merick's sister is going to have to come out of her room really soon, she keeps saying how the world needs to be saved, but she isn't doing anything to help, and did she duel in the tournament too, or where did her locator card come from?

I do like Ani D'Franco, Jeff Buckley, Pixies, Radiohead...the list could go on. Hobbies: MOVIES, movies, and movies. I like to read and go to the pub when I'm not watching movies I do a lot of live theatre too.

I agree with Poisontongue about Nasferatu--it shames EVERY other ampire movie. I have also seen 8 1/2. A truly excellent film...words are useless. I liked Amorres Perros, but it does run a little long. A cute little comedy is "Bread and Tulips" It's about a middle aged woman who has to find herself. Let's see, I think that's all I have for today.

I dig Maroon 5 a lot, A LOT. I am glad that they are finally getting some recognition, seeing as they've been around for a while. Don't take "Harder to Breathe" as their sound though, it doesn't define them entirely.

"Did anybody see the car, or who was in it? Oh, by the way, Dango, I think you had better tell everybody why you are able to be at this meeting... Or maybe better if Garm Elaborates for us. It was so strange, you touched him with those claws and he woke up. What are they, Garm?" Metta saw in his face he wouldn't tell them, maybe in a smaller setting. She couldn't help but wish for a smaller setting with Garm, but she knew he had feelings for Selenay. Garm, the antithesis of Dango, serious and angry. She was staring out the window and was brought back by Tara nudginf her leg. Everyone was looking at her and she had no idea why.

I love foreign films, they are usually more intelligent than American Films. My fovorite director is a French director, Jean-Pierre Junet. He did City of Lost Children, Delicatessen and Amelie. I recommend any and ALL of these films. He also directed Alien Resurrection at the time, he didn't understand any English at all, whichj is why that movie makes little sense... I am waiting for Spanish Apartment to hit DVD. Question--for a film to be considered foreign to you, does it need to be in another language or made in a nother country?? Like any of Guy Ritchie's films, they are in English, but that is because they are made in England--are they foreign?

This is one of my favorite books. Atticus Finch is one of the most memorable literary characters I have ever come across. I first read this book in 6th grade and have read it about once a year since. As for Harper Lee never publishing another work, I think it may be anti-climactic(sp??) as her first novel is so good. Maybeb she didn't think anything would live up to the standard she had set for herself.

I know Vash promised Rem that he wouldn't kill, but at the end he says
he'll always keep her words close, but he must find his own way.
This confused me a little, does that mean he thinks
it's okay to kill in certain situations?
and his outlook has changed and he
killed Knives?

Metta was annoyed. Finally the meeting was getting going, and all that seemed to be going on was the usual jealousy over Selenay... Suddenly things were starting, Dango's father?? Metta had just always assumed he was dead. Rue had settled back on the floor at her feet and she scratched his ears. What is going on here? Metta caught the thought on a breeze. "I was just thinking the same thing, Euri." Metta said aloud. Tara laughed, "You heard it too, huh? So, he's your father? THis can't be easy for you, I know. But why did he attack your friends? I mean, why is he attacking anybody, let alone those close to you?" "Your guess is as good as mine, Tara, but it seems he posed a very real threat. " "What about Garm's claws? Where did you get them?" Metta was all business today. "They are my inheritance. They were left to me, and they will only work for me. They have lots of uses." "Well, that's vague enough, I guess. Selenay, is there anything particular we need to cover tonight, or can we convene this meeting and go home?"

Wow, I was really intrigued to see these episodes. I hope Odian is okay, I have formed quite an attachment to him... Wow, Mai is in really deep this time. I can't believe that Joey would hurt her feelings like that. Poor Mai, I don't know how she will win. I was under the impression the the shadow realm was very stressful to people who aren't used to it, is that going to come in to play in the duel, or just the punishment that Merick has in for her? Bandit-- I think that Yami Yugi and Yami Bakura are better looking than their hosts, but I liked Merik better before, sorry.

Everyone was confused. Ungaga grabbed his staff. "Toan, how is this done? Where did these people come from? Who are they?" "This is my village and these are my people," Toan replied. "Will it stay this way? or will they disappear again?" Xioa asked. Ungaga was very uncomfortable and before he heard the answer, he retreated to the edge of the village. How was that done? There are strange forces at work here. Before he could think further, he felt a hand on his shoulder. It was the moon man.

I LOVE the Animaniacs!! They were a great show. My favorites were pinky and the brain, but I also love the Warners. The humor in the show was just so off the wall, and most of it was over the heads of children. I love the episode where the Warners bother Beethoven into writing his Fifth Symphony, and the one where they mock Camelot

I'm really on the fence about this one. I mean, why would Vash not just bury him, but then again, would he just leave his brother's final resting place in the middle of nowhere??

"Is it just me, or is it turning into a reallyweird day??" Selenay mused. "It seems to me that this meeting is going nowhere. Listen, people, I don't really know why this meeting was called, but it doesn't seem to matter now. Members of or group have been attacked at least twice today, and this is a subject of immediate concern." Metta started to sound angry. "Metta, what are you talking about, twice?" Terra asked for all those who weren't present for the other fight. Metta and Selenay relayed the story of Matt and his gang. Everyone seemed really concerned, if they weren't before. "I don't think it's a coincidence, either. Have you guys been talking about the meeting at school?" Metta asked. Of course they had, until now, they had no reason not to. "Matt's just a bully, Metta. He picks on me everyday," Dango said. "But do you get hit by a car everyday? Garm, I think it's time to talk about your claws, as I think they will be needed soon."

The Matrix Revolutions (Possible Spoilers/Image Heavy)
Maully replied to GuyYouMetOnline's topic in Noosphere
Semjaza, Reloadedwas a letdown... I hope that Revolutionsis better. I'll still see it in theatres, but not on opening day,and as for it being the most anticipated day of the year, not really... -
It's interesting how bias in the media turned into a war about the Isreali war... Anyway, so... Rush Limbaugh, everyone's favorite media conservative (favorite to like or hate) got himself into a little trouble with the minority community... I don't even know exactly what he said, but evidentally he said a vague comment about black quarterbacks, and now he is in the hot seat. Does anybody know what he actually said, I hate trying to make an opinion without at least baseline information...andif you know what he said, what are your thoughts on the situation?
