Think of yourself as a god, if you like. I know I do from time to time, but from on god to another, watch out for smitings... My dog definitely doesn't see me as a god, or else she would listen to me better, but my plants never argue, so maybe...

Now i am curious what it may have been you said... and so it goes. Are you asking who got cast as the lead in the Original's play?? I am also curious, do you even have understudy status, cause uh, I know some people who know some people... jk
-
Bingo!! Did anybody watch last night?? It was really exciting. Good call, Charlie.
-
Oh my god, I love that play. Congrats. Don't worry about singing, straight theatre is more fun in my opinion. My favorite that I have ever been in is Damn Yankees.

I agree that Heaven's Cloud is a bit harsh, but some decent points are made... I agree that a lot a char. (especially meryl) are very cardboard. But in some episodes, like last nights, Vash's depth shows through. I find that a lot of Vash's character is lost between the manga and the anime. I still prefer Bebop, but Trigun definitely ranks for me! P.S. Mermaid, I like you avatar too.
-
This is what you get for now. I think they had one a while ago, but that forum closed. I could be wrong, seeing as I am really new. So, since you're here, what do you dig about Trigun **trying to keep up discussion**
-
I like Trigun lots... I agree that Vash should be less goofy, he annoys me alittle because he is so goofy. I love Wolfwood!!! He's my fave. He's dark, stylish and mysterious, and he's got that awsome cross. He is also williing, in fact has no problem with going the extra step that Vash absolutely refuses. He's see's that in the setting of this story that sometimes there is just no way around killing some to save the masses. The show is absolutely charming and enthralling. It's definitely one of my favorites.

I was a theatre performance major for 3 semesters. While I love to be on stage, the schooling is challenging. Even as a performance major, you learn EVERTHING about the physical staging, lights, sets, costumes, everything. I love backstage almost as much as on stage, but I changed majors because what does one do with a BFA in performance if you are a realist with not so much faith in your own talent?

School is no place for cell phone, and the idea of allowing them is absolutely ridiculous to me. Having been out of high school for some time now, maybe my view is different from some of you, but if you want to talk about distraction? Boys with spikey hair have nothing on cell phones. In college, it is out of hand, I'll be sitting in lecture halls and about 3 times in an hour and a half, they'll go off. A lot of my prof. docked grades for it.

I am taking a year off of college, I have 3 sem left for a mass comm degree, then, on to grad school!
-
I also caught the Beast cameo, and thought it cool, but I wish they could have played it up more... As for the alternate universe, they aren't going to do anything about it, I bet. They've set up for they're non-sequitor stories, leaving long-time fans to roll their eyes while snaring people who have no other exposure to the saga to think, "It's the GREATEST EVER, WHOOO!"
-
I agree with that. Sure, when I was in school, i had blue hair and still wear some of the most outragious things I can come up with, that should not be what school is about, and if you are too preoccupied with being just like or more different than everyone else, what do you learn?

My friends know what it is, but they don't get it. Cartoons are for kids, I guess. They don't recgonize the thought and character depth present in these shows that are missing in so much of American culture, not just the TV. Don't worry if they make fun of you, there are a lot of other people who do relate to you.

so, all the Blue used to be people and then they caught a virus?? and being cryogenically frozen was the only thing that kept yuji and the others human? I think it would have been better if Alicia (the one who like Yuji) had turned into a bug. Why is it that Yuji becomes so angry and the others don't? Like Tony is really disturbingly calm all the time and Alicia is stupid and childish, why is Yuji so much more outwardly effected?
-
Andy Duframe, that is the guy's name. It's a great flick, definitely the BEST Stephen King adaptation ever.

Excellent question, Berry is also my least favorite, along with marsden, as I mentiond. I don't think the movie would have as wide reaching appeal without those two, which is alright with me. The second time I saw X2, the theatre was packed, and this lady had 4 small kids that could not behave and she refused to take them out until tthe meanager was called in... it was awful. Hooray for less mass appeal!
-
That was way enlightening, I haven't been watching for like a week or two. Jealous, angry Yuji is too illogical and annoyed me. Tony is cool though.
-
I liked the first one, LOVED the second, although I kind of feel like they are covering too much territory in too little time, but they are covering themselves and justifying it. I don't like James Marsden as Cyclops. Cyclops is supposed to be a leader and he is written and portrayed as whiny and petty. No sir, I don't like it... What are they gonna do if Jackman and Berry don't sign on for #3, which they haven't yet??

Where in the series do you think Knockin on Heaven's Door fits in?
-
I don't know why you're complaining about name badges, schools everywhere require that, as do many places of business, it is security and it's preparing you for the world, especially if you want to work in software companies, or computer companies.

My first was Vampire Hunter D, I was like 9 and I snuck out of bed to watch it really late on tv, HBO, I think, been a fan ever since

I love Inuyasha too. I am so glad that AS started showing it again. It's so enthralling. Miroku is my favorite character. Yea for Miroku!
