3.
Being called at 11 at night to be informed that I have to wake up an hour earlier than usual the next morning so I can drive someone to work and be expected to pay for the gas to do so even though it's their freaking car.
Sorry. I'll call earlier next time. Also, my major, number one pet peeve? Being interrupted. in the stupid job I have working in a customer care call center, I just have to deal with it, but when I'm in the middle of giving information or explaining, and the person on the other end of the phone interrupts to argue something that they don't even have all the information on yet makes me irate. 4.
One of my pet peeves is when people respond with a "yes" when someone has asked them "do you mind?". That is not how it works. :|
See, people being pissed that I DO MIND are a pet peeve of mine. If you don't want the honest answer, don't give me the chance to give it. Another one I have come from working a phone job. I hate when I give the stupid normal greeting, "thank you for calling BlahBlahBlah," and the customer answers, "How are you?" and prattles on without stopping. If you have no interest in how I am, don't ask. It's not a necessary part of this exchange. Tell me what you want. I also hate when turn signals are not used. BAH, lazy jerks, it's just a quick flip of the signal. I find the mispronunciation of the word nuclear. People, like our former President, who pronounce it nucular need punch in the face repeatedly.
5. Who: Sangome Why? She freaks out for our benefit. She is super amusing. Who: Shinmaru Why? He is the high priest of Mollyism and The OtakuBoards Podcast has proven he has a suave voice. What: the Podcast Why? It got me back here looking at the boards. Who: Shy Why? He's a name I can actually recognize from when I was active before. Who: Me Why? I'm the only person tacky enough to self promote. This is, of course, a joke. What: OB Chat Why? It provides endless entertainment. It's where it's at, yo. Who: Canz Why? He doesn't know me, but he sent me a message on my birthday. Meh, I'm not active enough to nominate any others, I think. 6. The song turned out a lot better than I thought, guys. I give all credit to DW. Gome, Just know that you are loved, and I might actually use that opening as a message tone on my phone.

9. The pee test part was the greatest! I laughed so hard. So there Dee! Yes, my dog's name is Lucifer. I am the devil, so it's okay.

You are the only person who can out cuss me, although I'm understanding Katana would give me a run for my money.
11. I love Ergo Proxy, it's one of my favorites. All the nay saying is not unfounded, but I find it to be 1) gorgeous 2) thought invoking 3) depressing (which, strangely, is not a negative point for me). I love the art style of the show. I think that, whether intentional or not, everyone but Re-Al has an ordinary face and looks like they are drawn to look like they are in the background. She is striking and strong but I like that they movie the story away from her. I love her and she annoys me. It's a strange dichotomy. The character growth and development is really drawn out, especially with the two main characters, and arguably one of the most frustrating points. It's good development, but it drags. Pino is my favorite character by far. and the darkness and depressing element in the story is necessary in anything post-apocalyptic. It does shove it's points down your throat though. It's not subtle.
12. Thank you for the birthday wishes

13. Ted Bundy was a serial killer, Korey. You want to put Homer against Al Bundy. I'm going with Ted Bundy because HE WOULD HAVE EATEN HOMER. Wow, I rarely post on OB, but made it into Chibi's Christmas poem and the Curtis Got Slapped By a Teacher commentary. I kind feel awesome.

I have seen this video several times. I enjoy it for the most part, minus the super young child dropping the F-Bomb at me. I savor a shock factor and realize though that this is not so much a video for the anti-gay marriage set as it is a rallying motion for those that support it. I love that it's not just couples in the video. It's someone's mother advocating for her son, it's some kids advocating for their parents. It at least makes an effort to show that it's not just gays and lesbians who advocate gay marriage. I do find it abrasive, and perhaps unnecessarily so, so I also saw the Hollywood entertainment factor to it. I saw that thing all over Facebook a week ago. It didn't make it to my page because I still wanted members of my family to speak to me. It is lowbrow, it is aggressive and abrasive. At this point it needs to be. Inside all of this cursing and making out they make some excellent points. 1) If people want to protect the sanctity of marriage, divorce should be harder or illegal. 2) It's okay for straight people to go through multiple spouses (they mention Rush Limbaugh being on his fourth wife) but same sex couples with a history of longevity can't have a chance? and 3) the stupidest sounding and most common sensical: If you don't want gay marriage, don't marry someone of the same sex. The first two of these go to show just how silly the argument of protecting marriage is. Divorce will never be illegal, it's an accepted reality in the world, especially America. No one expects divorce to go away, especially not the people who made this video. It's a tool to show how unfounded the argument is. Polls show the majority of Americans either advocate or don't care about gay marriage. I'm still not sure why it's a hot button issue. I guess because those that care care loudly. If I sat at a table in a room and said, "I'm straight and I think same sex couples should be able to get married," it would not have any controversy. Period. People would accept it and go about their day, without giving their own opinion on the matter, if they have one already, a second thought. So, while I might be the only one, I like the abrasiveness of the video.
16. That is totally zone-out worthy. It's not my cup of tea, but I definitely prefer it to the original.
17. Josie and the PussyCats I missed it in the theaters and also about the first year it was out on video simply due to my own bias. I figured it was just another stupid teenage movie that wouldn't have a point and would make me want to bash my head against the wall. I was oh-so-wrong. It turns out that movie is one of my favorite comedies. It's sneaky and subversive. Also Melody is the ONLY role Tara Reid should have ever been cast in. With music written by Babyface and Adam Duritz, it'spretty catchy.
18. Good for you! I'm about the first person in my family to not finish school. Eventually I hope to do something about that.
19. Ouran High School Host Club-- I love that show, and it's totally not my thing. I am way more of a scifi/action girl. Cute sweet things don't really do it for me, but that and Fruits Basket absolutely captivate me. Both of them are sweet but with a hint (or with FB, a large dose) of mystery or dark background stories. I adore Kyoya, he kind of makes the series for me.
20.
(though I'd love to get a few more when money permits :3)
We have the same issue!
21. I love that your tattoos have meaning to you and it's not just some silly Tweety Bird or something. Yes, I find Tweety silly. if someone reading this has a Tweety tattoo, my apologies. I have a compass on the top of my left foot. It has meaning on several different levels to me, but I got it to help me find direction in my life. It points off center though as a joke that I am off-kilter and that my moral compass is skewed. On the side of my right foot, I have XIII. I got it to remember the end of the unluckiest year of my life. People ask why I want to remember that, but you can just remember good stuff/times. That dooms you to repeat the bad.
22. I love fortune cookies. While I never put any stock in them, I think they are totally fun. Not only are they fun to read into but also to play stupid games with like "in bed" or ridiculous things like that; The week I got married I got a fortune cookie that said, " the love of your life will carry you through anything." even though I'm divorced now, that fortune is still on my fridge. My favorite fortune ever, ever was one that said, "Today is a disasterous day. If you can't beat 'em, join 'em." My ex-husband had one taped to the front of his bass guitar that said, "All is not yet lost." What are some of your favorite fortunes, or ones that you'd like to see? I personally like the thought of opening a fortune cookie and it saying, "DUCK!" or, "Don't look behind you."
23. Wichita State University I was very indecisive when I went to college. I went for 3 years. I have enough hours for an anthropology minor and a history minor. I was double majored in business and public relations. I have a passing interest in the PR, but not in the business. I started college as a musical theatre performance major, but I fell off that to a backup plan because I wanted to be able to eat without waiting tables as an adult. I literally have 104 credit hours that cannot be cobbled together for a bachelors because it's so all over the place. On the other hand, I could have like 3 associates degrees... I lived on campus for 2 years, and it was awesome! I highly recommend it.
24.
I'm aware of the movie, but I can't call that basketball. Entertainment for nostalgic purposes maybe, but basketball.... I beg to differ. I want to see people get dunked on.
I'm not a fan of watching people get dunked on. It's not that exciting for me. I prefer basketball as a game of strategy. Offense testing defense, defense pressing offense. Basketball is a game of motion and speed and occassional power.
And then the anticipating moments of the final seconds of a tied game in the last quarter. That's basketball, to me anyway. I will admit that basketball hasn't been up to snuff lately though.
This, however, IS what i love about basketball!
25. I have a pet peeve against people who cannot say nuclear correctly. I cringe ever time I hear nucular. I end up yelling at my radio a lot when listening to news shows and a guest can't say it correctly. "You're on NPR, you fool! Be educated!"
