Technically, it was five. -The first was when he tested it against the Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon, right before his tournament started. -The second was when he defeated a random guy in the first of three parts of the duel between Yugi and Arcana. -The third and fourth was when he and Yugi went up against Umbra and Lumous twice. -The fifth was when he summoned Obelisk in his duel against Isis, but he didn't actually attack with him. -And I know there's going to be at least one more summoning of Obelisk, in Kaiba's duel with Yugi, but I'm not sure about the Shadow Realm games. Speaking of "Enter The Shadow Realm".... Q.): What was the very first monster that made an appearance in the "Enter The Shadow Realm" story arc?
Originally posted by Jackie 0-0 I like ragikaki well I forget how to spell it type:magic Effect:it um destroys all monsters on the oppentenst side =D I like it it cause it can whip out cards but bat when it has anti ragiki
It'd called Raigeki, and I like it too. Ooo, that'a a great card! I have a Buster Blader- 2, in fact- and I really like him. I might try to get that card to make him more playable.

Shadowfire is absolutely correct (in "Playing with A Parasite," it was Weevil who explained that only Gate Guardian and Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon were stronger than his P.U.G. Moth, but I'm giving you the win anyway). Since a question was already made, Shadowfire, you may ask your own or go with Loki's. It's your call.

I ALWAYS look forward to seeing people try out near-impossible cards like the P.U.G. Moth. I'm not quite sure what "Emblem of Dragon Destroyer" is, but if it helps your deck, then go with it. I don't see many things wrong with this deck except for maybe you having a little too much Trap cards. The only ones that I see that should be gotten rid of are Spellbinding Circle and Call of The Haunted. No offense, dude, but if you're gonna have Jinzo on your field, you'll wanna cut down on your traps for your own sake. I'm gonna start rating decks according to three very important categories: Creativity, Chance of Victory (which depends on the kind of deck you're going to go up against), and Overall. Creativity: 9.0 Chance of Victory: 6.5 Overall: 8.0

Now I have a question. In reguards to Immortal of Thunder and Barrel Behind the Door, some people say that it's legal to pull off Immortal's down side effect (you lose 5000 LP when its destroyed and sent to the graveyard) with the Barrel's effect in combo to send the 5000 LP damage to one's opponent. Some other people said that it's not legal. Now my question is, is it legal, and if not, what makes it illegal?

I'm guessing three. He appeared first in the episode where Pegasus lost his Millenium Eye- I believe the episode was called "Aftermath," then in "Rage of The Egyptian Gods" when he talked to Yugi about the time when Pegasus recreated the God cards; then in "The Tomb Keeper's Secret," when he warned Marik about going down the wrong path or something like that. I'll be waiting to see if this answer is correct. EDIT: Nobody said anything, so I'll just go ahead. Q.) How many episodes has the Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon made an appearance? (This includes flashbacks or other visions) Try not to double-post please, Snodin. If you want a thread brought back to the top of the forum, delete the old post and copy its contents into the new one. -Solo

What about the one guy who has the Millenium Eye during the Egyptian saga? Couldn't it be said that Pegasus is his reincarnation?

You are correct sir! Next question.
Originally posted by Solo Tremaine I have some questions, if someone would be so kind: 1: My opponent destroys my Mystical Knight of Jackal with Sword Hunter (with Gaia Power as a boost, in case you're wondering). My Mystical Knight then goes to his side of the field, where it is treated as a Spell magic Card. If I play Giant Trunade, whose hand does it go back to, mine or my opponent's? I figured that because it was my card, I'd get it back. But he thought it'd go to him, seeing as it was under his control. Advice, please. 2. Dark Necrofear is destroyed by Raigeki. Is her effect still activated? 3. Can Curse of Royal be chained against Seven Tools of the Bandit and Magic Jammer? 4. What happens to a card put out of play via Different Dimension capsule if DDC is returned ot the owner's hand by Giant Trunade? Thanks in advance ^_^
These are my answers, but in my opinion; therefore, I could be wrong. 1.) I would say it goes to your opponent, who is controlling it as a Magic card. Only if it were to be destroyed by Heavy Storm would it go into your graveyard, because not only is it dead, but your opponent loses control of it altogether. 2.) It depends on what the card says. If it says that she has to be destroyed by a monster in battle, then that's the only way her effect would work. However, I don't think cards like Raigeki or Dark Hole work on her anyway, because then the one who played Dark Necrofear would have to target one of your monsters- and in Dark Hole's case, there are no monsters to target. So I don't think Magic/Spell cards work. 3.) Curse of Royal can only chain to Magic/Spell cards that act as counter-trap or counter/magic, for just one card that was activated. So yes, it can negate and destroy 7 Tools and Magic Jammer. But not Harpies Feather Duster or Heavy Storm, because in theory, they target more than one card at the same time. 4.) You need to understand the effect of Giant Trunade. Like I said above, I don't think you regain control of Sword Hunter's victims, because Giant Trunade does NOT negate or destroy the effects of the cards returned to the player's hand. Only Heavy Storm can truly destroy a magic or trap card and put it out of play for good, unless it's a trap like Waboku that gets activated as soon as Heavy Storm is in play. See, once a trap like that is activated, its effect can still be used while the card itself goes to the graveyard. Giant Trunade works the same way, but while the effects of all magic and trap cards are still in play, the cards themselves can still be played in the next turn (unless yours or your opponent's hands are cluttered; then they may have to be discarded). This is why Toon duelists MUST have Giant Trunade in their decks, so that the opponent can't destroy their Toon World cards; Giant Trunade can save them from being destroyed, and their effect (allowing Toons to be played) would still be active, until a Harpies Feather Duster or Heavy Storm is activated. I hope these answers clear things up...

I believe he's a Level 8 and needs 2 Tributes.

She unleashes Harpy Lady to destroy Salamandra as if it were a monster, when in the real game it's a magic card. Q.) In the duel between Yugi and Kaiba's "ghost," how was the use of the magic card "Defense Paralysis" different than the way it's played in the real card game?

Okay, it's been three days and still no right answer. So what is the right answer, Angel? Tell us, and you get to ask a new question that we might get right. This should be the new rule from now on; everybody gets 3 days to answer a question correctly, or else a new question is asked by the previous winner. This will keep the ball rolling for this thread.

Your deck's not that bad, but I would drop both Buster Blader (who's 2-Tributed and doesn't fit the Amazon theme) and Unfriendly Amazon (whose need for a monster sacrifice per Standby Phase may prove costly). I would add in their place 2 Giant Rats who can search your deck for Amazons. Another thing I noticed was that you don't have the Trap card Amazon Archers; you need that to make your Amazons more dangerous. Other than those major things, not bad.

I'm going to guess the God cards, Obelisk, Slipher and Ra. Correct me if I'm wrong...
-
Okay, it's been 3 days, and no one has made an answer yet. Could you please tell us the correct answer and ask another one? P.S. Kudos for stumping me like that, dude!
-
I'll tell you. Magic and Spell cards are the same; they just got the name changed because the dudes at Wizard (I think that's the company's name; it's the dudes that're responsible for Magic: The Gathering) were threatening to sue because they want the title "Magic cards" all to themselves. I personally don't mind the change; saying "spells" sounds much better than saying "magics" anyway (of course, that's my personal opinion).

pojo.com/yu-gi-oh Has what they call "Card of The Day," and already they showed pics of Skilled Dark Magician (their latest one) and Dark Paladin. Check em out there. P.S. It's a great site!! Course this one's great too. ^^;

Okay, thanks for correcting me. :) (I hope this isn't spam)

I dunno about Ra and Slypher (forgive me if I'm saying Slypher wrong), but if Obelisk was completely immune to traps, then why did Isis- who gave the card to Kaiba in the first place- set a trap on Obelisk during her duel with Kaiba? Unless he's immune to trap cards that only try to stop him while he's attacking an opponent directly during his effect... I dunno.
-
I can only remember the names of three: Croquet, Kemo (both worked for Pegasus/Big 5) and Roland (Kaiba). I dunno if Panik or the Paradox Brothers would count, as they worked for Pegasus too, but I'm pretty sure that Croquet, Kemo and Roland were the only "bodyguards" named so far. I guess if you don't count Panik or the Paradox Brothers, I'll just have to wait for the right answer.

Obelisk The Tormentor: Offer two Monsters on your side of the field as a Tribute to destroy all monsters on your opponent's side of the field, and inflict 4000 points of direct damage to your opponent's life points. Slypher the Sky Dragon: The ATK and DEF of this monster increases by 1000 points for each card the controller of this card has in his or her hand. In addition, this monster decreases the ATK (and DEF?) of each opponent's Monster that is summoned to the field as long as this Monster remains face up on the field. Winged Dragon of Ra: The ATK and DEF of this monster becomes the sum of the three Monsters' ATK and DEF that were offered as Tributes to summon it. (In addition, this monster can be controlled by either player who successfully recites the chant text written on this Monster's card)

I would save that question for the card advice thread, dude. But I dunno the answer; hopefully, someone else does.
-
I would definitely take out the God card; I hear they have no effects and they're illegal in tournaments. You probably wouldn't even get the chance to summon him anyway... Sorry you don't have a lot of needed cards; you have to play with what you've got. I hope someday you get more cards, for your sake.
-
I would definitely go with Hades; he's only 50 ATK points stronger than Jinzo, plus he and any other fiend you may have on the field can negate monster attacks. If you want, you can make him combo with your gravekeepers with DNA Surgery, unless you have a lot of Spellcaster magic/spell cards. Another good heavy-hitter, of course, would be Jinzo- unless you have him already. Question: If you have mostly dark monsters, do you have the field card Mystic Plasma Zone? It can raise the ATK of all your dark monsters by 500 points (and lowers their defense by 400), and it could be a good backup for Necrovalley. Of course, these and the extra monsters could make space in your deck... but it's up to you.
