I have to agree with Arunue. An introduction forum is nothing more than an area for spam. It's for self glory which isn't what the OB is about. I've seen tons of introduction threads in my time on forums. Barely ever do you see anything really signifigant come from an introduction forum. In a large community like this an introduction thread would be swept away easily. The OB gets new members daily. You're going to get n00bs who0 want to keep their thread active and keep reviving it. The moderators are doing an awesome job right now. Sure it's been pretty annoying but I think it's really up to them to decide if it's time to add an introduction forum. If and when that day ever comes I hope the seriously think about it and it's consequences and deal appropriatly.

Trailer I'm pretty hyped about this game but I think it's going to be moved even further into the action genre. Adding the bright atmosphere to the game isn't exactly going to help it scare the players. Now the possible plots that they could come up with for RE5 are limitless. With the Plagas sample, Umbrella could do so many things. I'm just dissapointed because Shinji Mikami is gone and in my opinion, without him, the Resident Evil series won't ever be as good. Edit: Here's some rumours that I found on rehorror.com that have been floating around on the web.
-Game takes place in Somalia, Africa -Release date will be 2008-2010 -Unresolved mysteries from the first game will be revealed -It will star a new character. All of the above info is completely false. This all came from an article by JeuxFrance, which was subsequently re-reported by Gamespy. The scans do not say it takes place in Somalia. This came from mistranslating the paragraph that says the new enemies will swarm you like in the scene from the movie Black Hawk Down, which was set in Somalia, where all the locals formed a mob and swarmed after the marines. I'm sure it could take place in Africa. It would be the most logical location, but the article does not say that. The release date is completely spurious. What Jun actually said was that normally high-profile next-gen projects like this usually take 3-5 years to make. He does not say "RE5 will take 3-5 years to make, starting now". Plus, Kobayashi mentioned how Capcom were specifically trying to cut down development times. The "unresolved mysteries" is just reading too much into a single sentence. The scans say RE5 will have links with the original RE games, that's all. The "new character" is just Gamespy mistranslating JeuxFrance's comment that Capcom haven't confirmed who the main character is. Now for some real news, Jun was quoted in the article as saying that RE5 will tie up the previous Biohazard storyline. Also there was some technical info in JeuxFrance's article: -Capcom will maximise the capabilities of both consoles. -Currently they are working on ambient effects such as heat blur to help emphasise the high temperatures. -RE5 will have very high detail. The individual hairs on the character's head and beard will be individually rendered.
Worrying about the heafty consumption of natural resources
Box Hoy replied to poo62.2's topic in General Discussion
I've read a couple chapters from this book called "The End of Oil". It basiclly goes through what will more than likely happen once the world runs out of oil. Basiclly what it comes down to is that we're going to have to sacrifice some of our luxuries because the renewable resources that are getting big as the ones that will replace oil just aren't as powerful. -

Oh god where do I start. I've got animals running around everywhere. 15 cats. Some indoor, some outdoor. Buddy, Tese, Miah, Samson, Sophie, Evelin, Blue, Rico, Blacky, Cali, Riggs, Shadow, Patsi, Harmony, and Sirus. A half of them are siamese or have some siamese blood in them. 3 dogs, Jake, Pepper, and Ozzy. 2 pure blood bordercoli's and 1 half breed between a bordercoli and a black labradore. 4 goats. Red, Cutey, Jacob, and Pheobe. 2 Horses. Sissy and Ni. I love them all...up until they break through something or knock something over.

Statix-X or Murderdolls. Each of them has the rise in speed and heaviness in their music that gets you pumped. Mainly I use it for mosh pits or backyard wrestling. Heavy metal is really good for those type of things.

I'm sure your father will be alright. The war is starting to die down. If he's in Afgahnistan I'm pretty sure there's less of a chance of anything unwanted occuring. Just have hope, believe at all times that your father is alright.

My favorite. It has a little action in it too... Point to the girl and motion with the finger for her to come to you. She walks over. You say "Hey, if I got you to come over here with one finger, imagine what I can do with all five"
I'm not saying this to be mean, but as somebody who is about to have a baby, you'd think that perhaps asking an internet website full of teenage anime fans mightn't be the best idea.
Aye, that may not be the best idea. But there are those of us who come here for the company of others. Not all of us are anime fans. I truly think you need to look back at your own life. Think of things that stood out. Than try and come up with a name from something, someone, or somewhere that stands out. I have one single name and that is Ora. It's a name I discovered a long time ago. Have no clue as to what it means but it's sure to stick out. When you find the right name you'll know. There's a feeling that says, this is the right name. Not that it's the same situation, but when you come up with a name in the sign ups here, sometimes you'll get this feeling like, "wow, I really like this name," or something. I'm having a boxanism so pay no mind to that rant.

Dallas grabbed an umbrella and his coat. He was still breathing heavily. The visions had started to become more and more realistic. They came in his dreams and now in his own reality. Yet no one else could see them. Only in his mind. Dallas sighed. The patter of rain against the umbrella was getting annoying. Dallas walked through the park and towards the mall. Maybe the media could help him recover. It could get his mind of the stress. That was what was causing it. Stress. A couple people were walking into the large mall. Just punk looking kids, probably going to steal something or make trouble. It didn't matter to him. The doors opened and Dallas walked through. The mall was abnormaly inactive today. A few people were sitting in the food court. The punk kids were hanging out in the gothy fashion stores. Dallas walked past the appliance store. Tv screens covered the windows. They were all on and tuned into the recent news. Dallas stopped walking and looked at it. Black shadows were jumping all around the reporter and yet he was doing nothing. Dallas shook his head and kept walking.

Dallas left the room, softly closing the door behind him. He turned and looked back at the door. How could I have just done that, I've probably just made his day even more miserable than it already is. Dallas went to the door of his apartment. "I sure hope that guy is okay. It's too bad his brother died," he said to himself unknowingly. Dallas entered the small kitchen his apartment and opened the fridge. A rotting peice steak on a plate on the bottom shelf released it's ungodly stench upon his face. Dallas clenched his nose to guard from the horrible smell. Dallas grabbed a half empty can of beer he'd had from who knows when. Maybe this is the reason why I'm having all these terrors. Dallas plopped down on the couch and take a large gulp from the can. He swallowed but almost immeadiatly regergitated it and threw up all over his carpet. "Shit," he said looking at the mess. He went up to grab some aged newspaper. From no where a shadow caught his attention. It had the figure of a man. Dallas looked at it. Nobody had come through the door, no windows were in the kitchen, how the hell did someone get in. He slowly moved forward towards the shadow. His chose his steps carefully making sure not to step on things on his cluttered floor. The shadow moved a little. Dallas stopped for a moment. "Whoever is there! Come out with your hands up!" he yelled. He looked to his side. A fire poker for the woodstove lay resting against it. he grabbed it quickly and resumed his spot. The shadow moved again. Dallas watched it. He turned the corner into the kitchen. He fell backwards with terror. His sister was struggeling for life as she was hung. A rope came down from a black hole in the celing strangelling her. Dallas ran forward and grabbed for the rope. A hand came through the hole in the ceiling and grabbed Amber. It's veins slowly emerged and blood came dripping through the gaps between it's fingers. Dallas shook his head. He was laying near the sink. There was nothing but the kitchen and some bothersome flies.

OOC: Sorry for being late. ^^ IC: The demon held Amber's shoulder and he ripped away at her skin. All Dallas could was watch as his sister was slowly and painfully destroyed. He sat in a chair. His ankles and wrists locked down upon it. She wouldn't die either. There was no death for her, only eternal pain. Dallas cried out. Each time the demon ripped away at her flesh it seemed Dallas died a little more on the inside. Tears dripped from his face. "Damnit, stop it, stop it now!" he yelled. The demon chuckled and grabbed her head. He pulled it straight off, her spine following it. The demon wrapped his oversize tongue around it and ate the head. Dallas watched in horror. His sister's body dropped to the ground. The demon tossed aside the spine and looked directly into Dallas's eyes. The demon lunged for Dallas. "SHIT!" Dallas screamed. He bolted up from his dream looking around. Almost immeadiatly he realized he had, had another dream. Dallas got up out of bed. He surveyed the room. Everything seemed to be in order. He was back in reality. In his home where nothing could harm him. Dallas went out the front door of his apartment to grab the newspaper. He noticed a man slouched over on his front door steps sleeping. "Poor guy," he said to himself. What the hell am I talking about. These dreams keep happening more and more frequently. I'm the poor guy here

Alright, I'm seriously nervous right now. I've got an interview in 2 hours and and then another one like probably right after. This is going to be my first interview for a job. First is at Subway and then the other is at Taco Bell. I just wanted to know, what employers look for, some common questions they ask, how to answer them, and basiclly what to look like. And does anybody have any good stories from when they were interviewed for a job. :Box:

My friend Cody told me about theOtaku.com and checked it. For the longest time I didn't even know the board existed. I usually was in the chat room trying to pick fights with this one guy, can't remember his name. I was also checking out topaz's Dragonball Z art. Good times. Well then they changed theOtaku around and the chat room went away so I left for awhile ocassionally checking back. Finally I noticed, while looking for something to do, that there were forums. Otakuboards was still in it's previous version. I joined and tried making an rpg which totally failed. Boy, what a noob I was. Arunue made the Realm of Reality and I was hooked.

Name: Dallas Wheeler Age: 22 Sex: Male Occupation: Prep School Student Appearance: Blonde hair and blue eyes comes to the bottom of his ears, short, about 5' 10" and 130 lbs. Usually wears a black hooded zipdown sweater and gray t-shirt underneath. Blue somewhat saggy jeans. Back History: Dallas is the typical student. A failure and yet still trying. His parents abandoned him and his sister and left them to die. His only sibling, his sister Amber, raised him as a teen. Amber was never happy. She was doing drugs, and whoring for money. Eventually one night she dissapeared. Dallas was thrown into a state of pure terror and panic. His sister was missing and he would be orphaned. She had been whoring and been picked up by god knows who. The terror grew when news came to Dallas that his sister had been found, dead in the country. He was living in the orphanage when the news came on the television that Amber Wheeler was dead. Small memories of the times he had shared with Amber that were actually signifigant and happy died. Dallas was released from the orphanage and went to prep school for college with what little money he got from his sisters death. But monsterous nightmares began to fill Dallas' thoughts. His schoolwork sloped downwards. Dallas is growing more and more afraid of what is happening to him mentally. -
I've talked to Riggs, the guitarist, and Blasko, the bassist from Rob Zombie, on their message boards. I sort of know them now as aquantances not all that good. I asked Riggs when he was planning on starting work on his next album for Scum of the Earth and he responded saying that he's still on tour.

At school I've had several classes with a kid who has Asbergers Syndrome. It's a really rare mental disorder which was discovered by Hans Asberger who published his findings on the syndrome. Characteristics of one with the syndrome are that they may have social problems, obsessive behavior, they can't read body language well, and are often subject to teasing and bullying from the "normal" kids. It does get quite irritating at my school. The kid sounds like a little proffeser. He obsesses in quantam physics and D&D type things. He has poor hegiene and stuters alot and will constantly interrupt class with his comments on what is being learned and how the teacher is incorrect (usually he's wrong and makes a fool of himself but he doesn't know) His entire family except for his mother suffers from the syndrome. It's inherited. The kid can't help it but sometimes it's funnier than hell. I've seen this year however a change in the kids personality. He's actually starting to memorize people's name's after working with them for some time where in the past he would forget your name in as little as ten seconds. He likes to joke also but often his jokes aren't funny which there's nothing wrong with. That sort of proves that his social side has been opening up.

I can't say I'd like to be well known either. No matter what you do as a career to be famous they won't like you. Take Shigeru Miyamoto for example. He's the father of the Mario, Zelda, Donkey Kong, Starfox, and many other Nintendo franchises. He's great but there are people who think he's seriously crazy. Onto the the topic at hand. If I were to be known by the public I would want to be known for my art and stories. Something that distracts the audience from myself. Just remember that once you're famous you're always going to be even after you die.

What Does your sig, avi and username say about you.

Symphony: Very smexy images. They fit your username. I think most of your personality comes out in your sig. You've got a sensitive side and yet a wild side as well and the character in your banner definetly I would say, fits that. -

Well Sunfall. From the looks of it you seem to be someone who is waiting for something. Waiting for the mesiah maybe. I dunno. You like Zelda and that sort of brings on the impression that you like video games. I think everything adds up and it means that you are a very spiritual person. -
JAPAN 22 S T O R Y One of the greatest amusement parks in the year 2010 was the reason why so many died that same year. Japan 22 was finished around the start of the year 2010. On it?s opening day crowds rushed in. They were never to check out... The story follows 3 very different and very odd individuals who just happen to get stuck in the amusement park. As the story begins we start with the fire. A burning building in the middle of Japan kills all who reside within. But above all it kills Toshi Kishimoto's parents and leaves him orphened. He figures out that the fire was caused by a band of ghosts creating havoc all over Tokyo. Toshi learns from a bum who turns out to be very in tune with spirit from the netherworld that the ghosts reside around an amusement park. Toshi goes to the park which is titled: Japan 22. While Toshi is inside, the entire park is isolated by a dome type of energy field and all humans within are destroyed. But not Toshi. The amusement park is very odd and it all has something to do with the ghosts. Weird and mutated creatures keep entering the park through portals and the park itself is mutating. C A S T Toshi: The main character of the series. Toshi is a horror loving, psychopath. He isn?t exactly human but he doesn't figure that out until later. When his family was murdered by a band of ghosts in a fire, Toshi left to find the murderers and get his revenge. His overall attitude is carefree but he can lose control at times. He wears a black shirt that says in grungy letters "I Didn?t Do It." Over that is a black coat with medium sleeves and comes down to his knees. On the back of the neck of the coat is a skull. His hair is black and comes down to his eyes and his skin tone is tan. He wears gray baggy pants and black skate shoes. On the back of his right leg he has a tattoo of a prophet holding a lamp. Sid the Zombie: Sid isn?t any sort of normal zombie. He?s an intelligent guy but because of a virus he got mysteriously inside of him his skin tone was become bluish and he seems to be dead. He decided to leave society and moved into the haunted house in Japan 22 when it was finished. His eye color is glowing neon green and his hair is black. He?s part Caucasian and part Hispanic. He carries a shotgun around as a weapon. His clothes change from time to time but he primarily wears a gray t shirt under a checkred red and black coat and blue pants. Sid met Toshi in a haunted house in the themepark Japan 22 and agrees to help him becuase the ghosts bother him. Ora: A spellcaster and magic manipulator. She?s also the incarnation of the one known as the grim reaper. Ora is a very gothic character. She loves slow melodic type music. A master of the ancient Pagan arts both good and evil, Ora follows Toshi and Sid helping them with her witchcraft and magic. She always uses a scythe as her weapon. Her hair is long and black. She is only 5?8". Very small. She wears a black long sleeved shirt and baggy black pants with chains. She was waiting for the death of a baby child on the Ferris Wheel when the entire themepark of Japan 22 was isolated from the rest of the world by mysterious and unknown forces. Sirus: A demonic spirit. He is about 2 ½ feet tall and wears a cloak and hood. He usually floats around on small gray cloud that occasionally rains on Toshi. It turns out that Sirus is actually Toshi?s godfather revealing somewhat of Toshi?s past and how abstract it actually is. Sirus is obsessed with the arcade games and usually can be found there. His long white goatee shows how old he truly is and how much he knows. He refuses to tell Toshi of his secret past and won?t even reveal why. But he does know alot about the reasons why the park is messing up Alright. There it is. My official manga. I've already started drawing up roughs of the main characters but I'm planning much, much, more for this series than just this. Critiques please! :animesmil

Lol. If you have a good taste for sick humor than I suggest Freddy Got Fingered. True it's a movie made for those who find humor in the stupidest things but you can't resist laughing at some of the things that happen. Tom Green is the king of random humor. The Jay and Silent Bob series is also good. Although it was milked to hell with Comedy Central playing it endlessly. The Clerks series is also good. Can't think of anything else at the moment. Have fun!

Lol. I think I'd fall into my own group. Before you go stereotyping people you've gotta remember that everybody is different and anybody can fall into anygroup. The most gothiest goth could fall into the preppiest group that listens to britney spears if you think about it. It depends upon how you classify each group. Do you identify them for their clothes or for their personality or something else. Or any combination. So by doing this you really eliminate the stereotype factor. Too many people these days look at your clothes and think they know you. Okay. So if I could give my group a name I'd say it's a misc of the rebel groups of the school. I fall under a more artistic gothic type of rebel where as my best friend Colin falls into the punk style rebel and my other friend Skitto would fall into the hippy group. I think my group represents the anti stereotype becuase we're a blend and we're all very good friends. And that's the way the world should be.
