I absolutely love OutKast, but I'm also a huge fan of Incubus. I mostly listen to rock, but there are a few Rap songs I'll listen to. Like I'll listen to one of Mystikal's songs and then listen to Lenny Kravitz or Puddle of Mudd. It makes no difference to me. If the music sounds good and is not trashy, I'll listen to it.

I'm a kid and I love the RHCP!! They were introduced to me through my father and my aunt. And from them I went to other bands like Nirvana (I like RHCP better than Nirvana). I have three of RHCP CDs, but out of those Blood, Sugar, Sex, Magic and Californication are my favorites. Rock on!!

Firsties--Anyone here a fan of Linkin Park
Rockstar Haruko replied to BlazinReddrgn's topic in Noosphere
I like Linkin Park. I have their first CD, Hybrid Theory. It just seems like all their music is starting to sound the same. I was listening to Numb on the radio and I started singing one of their older songs to it. I mean, it went along perfectly with the music. I don't know. It could be just me. -
I like Samurai Jack, Futurama, Teen Titans, PPG. Oh! I like too many cartoons to choose a favorite!!! I am a cartoon freak. It's not aways about the graphics or anything to me. I love anime, but sometimes I need a break from that and I'll go and watch some Spongebob Squarepants or better yet Home Movies (talk about some bad animation). I'll watch anything that's not utterly stupid or makes you want to jump out of a window. (Maisy) *shudders*

Favorite toy when you were little
Rockstar Haruko replied to BlazinReddrgn's topic in General Discussion
I always played with the Barbie dolls. I played with them until I was like in middle school. I would pretend they were a tv show. I had so many different races, male and female. It was cool. I even had one that was in a wheelchair named Becky. Anyway my tv shows were so scandalous (I think that's how you spell it). Barbie was having an affair with Steven when she was supposed to be with Ken.(That always happpened) I also played with Polly Pocket. I had a huge castle and a whole bunch of little homes and it seemed like a hundred little people. I had a show for them too. *sighs* Those were the days. But now I draw them out in my comics. Action!! Advenure! Romance!! Yeah!! Oh yeah! SEGA!! That was my pal and is still my pal today! Gotta love it!! -
When You think about it, languages are just COOL!! There are so many of them and they are all different. Personally, I don't care what new language I learn, I just want to be able to communicate with different people. I mean just to speak in english one moment and then turn and speak to someone else in a different language is just GREAT!! But right now I am concentrating on Japanese. Schools should teach Japanese, I think. The US does import a lot of things from them. Starting a new year at school, I had heard that they were putting in an Asian language. I found out it was Chinese. That was cool too. We need to learn Chinese also. They just weren't on the exact language I wanted. Spanish is all right. It's just too easy, I think. Japanese seems pretty hard to me, that's why I'm pursuing it as a third language.

My childhood was great. There were the little moments that there were problems in the family, but other than that it was all right. Sometimes I do wish that I was a child again and not have to have so many responsibilities. I'm in high school now and about to graduate. Sometimes I find myself thinking. Wow, I'm almost an adult. Everything seems to be going so fast and I get scared. What if I can't do this? But that quickly gives way to me actually wanting to be an adult. I feel like I should be treated like an adult and should get the same responsibilities. I'm looking forward to getting jobs and moving into my own home and everything. I catch myself thinking about when I'll start a family so I'm like, torn between wanting to be a kid and wanting to be an adult. I mean, I have a lot of friends that are younger than me and I have a lot of friends that are older than and the same age as me. I just hope that these feelings pass.

Superstitions, believe them or not?
Rockstar Haruko replied to Kanariya's topic in General Discussion
When I first heard superstitions I was afraid to try them. But I remember when I was younger, a friend of mine and I were outside playing and she was telling me about Bloody Mary. She held up a stick and put it on the ground next to a tree and told me that if it was gone the next day, that Mary would come and try to kill me. Do you know that the next day it was gone. I was sooooo scared. I wanted to cry. Now it's just stupid to me when I think back on it. Duh. The wind moved it. Or someone else like my brother. Anyway, I don't believe in superstitions. Their just stupid to me. -
My teachers curse all the time. I remember the first time I heard one of my teachers curse. That was when I was in Elementary school. I was so shocked. Now that I'm in high school it's like, whatever. The teachers curse at the students and the students curse at them. I know its strange, but at my school no one cares which I find very disturbing.

The videos were played on CCN. That's how I got them. I watch them over and over again. I keep wondering what happened to the guitar guy though. Did he die? or was he just unconscious? I hope he was all right. He must save the band!!!

I have two favorite books of all time. My first is False Memory by Dean Koontz. I love his writing style and how he put the plot together. I think he has a very wild imagination. His stories are sorta like the kind I want to write when I beome a writer. Edit: I meant to name my second fav. but I had to go. I can't remember what it was right now anyway. poo.

Surprisingly, not that many people know what CCS is. I love that anime. Its cool, but it's like... no one's seen it. Maybe it's just the people I'm around. I haven't written any CCS fanfix, but I have thought about it. My specialty is GW/SM. I've read some really good ones though.

Anyone remember Bwitched? I'm not exactly embarrassed to say that I like them, but their music is all right. I listen to their CD every now and then. It's just hard to talk about them with others when no one knows who they are or they don't like their music. Sadly, I have BOTH of their CDs. I don't know if they came out with anymore. Probably did.

I am sooo glad that I looked at this!! I absolutely love Daft Punk. And it's not just me. It's basically my whole family!!! If this is true about them coming out with a movie, then I'm definately going to see it and I'm going to get the DVD too. YAYYYYY!! And Dragonstar, I remember the guitar ship. It totally rocked! All of the videos were cool, especially the one when their memories were being erased and replaced.

I love fall. I don't know why, but I feel cozy. It's something about the cold weather that makes you feel safe. Then there's all the pretty colors on the trees. It just makes me feel alive.

So Maroon 5 has been out for a while? I thought they were some new band. I really like their song "Harder to Breath", but because of everyone elses comments, I want to hear this Blues side of them.

I was looking through all the threads and I noticed that there were no threads on Incubus. I am a HUGE fan of this band. I listen to their music all of the time. They are my all time favorite!! And I am in love with Brandon Boyd and DJ Kilmore. (sighs) I have two of their CDs: Make Yourself and Morning View and I am now trying to get their other ones. My aunt has their S.C.I.E.N.C.E. CD and I think it sounds really good. So what does everyone else think of this band? If anyone's heard their other CDs, what is your opinion on them?

I like the Gorillaz too. All the characters are funny looking and the music I've heard is cool. I haven't gotten their CD. Someone told me that it wasn't very good and they got me Daft Punk instead (they have good music too). Maybe I should listen to the CD myself.

I'm a rocker, but I do listen to SOME rap. Rap today just isn't what it used to be. They all talk about the same things: Sex, money, girls, guys, etc. I know rock talks about that too, but it's just the way rappers put together their words and stuff (their very graphic). Now I do like Eve and Outkast. They're pretty cool.

For the people that watch cartoon network before Tonami(sp?).
Rockstar Haruko replied to Ryoko T.D.C.'s topic in Noosphere
Totally Spies...hmm. I haven't really watched an episode. I mean I tried. I really tried, but I just couldn't get into it. Everyone's right. It was a sad attempt to mimic anime. Oh, but I absolutely like Teen Titans. It's waaaay better, but I've only seen one episode!!! Ahhhhhgggrrr!!! I keep missing it! -
I liked both X-men movies, but I think they could've been a little better. In the second one, there was more talking than action. Or maybe that was in both of them... The powers were cool and the characters were great. So it was SUPER!!

Family Guy is hilarious! It seems to be just like the Simpsons, but much funnier. It's like the Simpsons have a moral or something at the end of each show, but Family Guy is just like whatever. My favorite episode was when Stuey had a crush on a little girl at daycare and she kept wanting a cookie. It was so sweet! And funny!!

I like X-men Evolution. The characters are cool and I like the animation and everything. Sometimes things just go through a little change. There's no problem with that. If it's good, it's good. I'm just kind of mad that Gambit is not in there. He was my favorite.

I totally miss the songs! I know all the songs from The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, Pocahontas, The Lion King, all of them! They probably would've has some good songs in these more recent movies if they had just made them! Don't get me wrong though, I loved Treasure Planet and Lilo&Stitch. I really loved the music in Fantasia and Fantasia 2000. It seems that Fantasia 2000 was the last of Musical Disney. Boohoo!!
